Great location, but very poor service, as we only wanted to enjoy coffee and a few cold drinks and didn't want to order food. Apparently, it didn't fit the concept. Exorbitant prices.

Not great, food massively disappointing, everything over salted. Service actually appalling, we asked for the service charge to be removed. We were ordering and a staff member came up to our waiter and had a full blown conversation for two or three minutes so we waited mid order for them to finish. They asked do you want any ketchup or mayo we said yes, never appeared. Nothing special other than the view, over inflated prices, wouldn’t recommend

Could be called Instagram bar. Stunning view, beautiful place, beautiful and tasty cocktails... This could announce an amazing night, but the service is ruining everything. If you don't come here overdressed and order expensive bottles, don't expect to be respected. 4 waiters for about 20 clients, none of them asking for a second drink, but don't worry they don't forget to ask how you wanna pay. When the lady said she'd come with the bill, 20 minutes have passed and.. nothing. The lady walked next to us maybe about 10 times but too focused on her 2 rich tables outside to care about the others. I tried to call a waiter with a kind "excuse me", barely got the time to finish to pronounce these words that he just answered "one sec" and never came back. What a familial and disrespectful way of talking to people when you provide such a posh appearance. When I finally got to call the lady again, she apologised, but we've been waiting again about 10 minutes (well there was an expensive table that order expensive stuff so, you know, priorities). Kindly advising customers to run away for another rooftop, we're not missing of them in London, and employees to consider all their clients on the same bar, money is not always linked to appearance.

Beautiful views but the bar is honestly quite bizarre? They’re serving cocktails and drinks that are very pricey but then playing loud music and all the furniture and plants are plastic? Sabine Rooftop Bar: Where St Pauls is Iced in Glory and the Cocktails Come with a Fanfare If you’ve ever wanted to sip a cocktail while staring directly into the soul of St Paul’s Cathedral, then Sabine is your place. And not from a distance, mind you—this is proximity with a capital P. So close, in fact, that one can trace the intricate detail of the dome with the eye of a jeweller inspecting a tiara. The cupola rises so proudly, it looks as though a grand pâtissier had piped it onto the skyline in a fit of baroque ambition, rosettes and all, with budding grandeur and the swagger of a Great British Bake-Off finalist. The rooftops around you don’t simply sit quietly either—they burst and sprout with mythological faces, mascarons, and cornices, all seemingly designed by a fever dream collaboration between Ruskin and Fellini. It’s a skyline that mutters to itself in Latin and occasionally breaks into an operatic recital. And then—turn your head slightly—and there lies the Thames, sweeping her skirts past London’s finest. Our sunhats, with all the self-importance of summering aunts, brayed and flapped at the panorama. As the golden hour descended, the buildings along the river were illuminated with such radiant light, it felt as though someone had turned the saturation up on real life. One half expected a string quartet to pop up from behind the shrubs and start in on Vivaldi. Enter Joe—Sabine’s unofficial maître d' of charm. Welcoming without fuss, he moved between tables with the elegance of a man on a stage, presenting our drinks with such courtly flourish that we instinctively sat up straighter. Each glass arrived as though announced by fanfare, and yet, despite the palpable buzz around us, Joe made us feel like the evening’s honoured guests. A rare feat, and deeply appreciated. Reviewing a venue like this is sheer joy—it felt like we’d flown abroad without ever leaving the postcode. A momentary escape, a gossamer curtain of make-believe, drawn across the evening sky. If you long to get away from it all, with all the splendour of London still at your feet, Sabine is the place. Just add sunshine, a good hat, and perhaps a cocktail named after a mythological beast.

Great roof top as always, nice to see it after its revamp. Reserved and booked in advance and requested the Skyline view with the table on the side of the terrace, St Paul's terrace is bookable too but you are in the shade super quick. The Skyline terrace is perfect as the sun was still shining over this area into the early evening. Was seated to the table quickly but then a little slow on taking our first drinks and food order. Apart from that, great views and nice vibing place for drinks and food in a not so busy part of the city.

I had the misfortune of trying to eat at the restaurant today as I was staying in the hotel and needed something close by for lunch. I would not recommend eating there at this time. they are renovating which means you are using an alternate entrance, that's fine and not an issue, businesses need to update from time to time. The main issue was that the new entrance was a swinging wood door that banged extremely loudly every 15-20 seconds as staff ran in and out. It was beyond distracting so much so that I left mid-way through lunch due to it. The food lacked flavor as well, I had the chicken burger and it was dry and not seasoned. The moon cocktail I also had was poorly made and lacked flavor. Overall my experience today missed the mark by a long shot, disappointing. The only upside was the beautiful view of the church from your seat.

We had drinks and dinner at Sabine 5th April, with our friends. Overall, mixed reviews tbh. Firstly, I only became aware of the 20% discount a daily offer on throughout April, the next morning after our visit. Unfortunately, this wasn't mentioned to us at the time of payment, nor was it clearly signposted during our visit. Had we known, we would have certainly appreciated the discount offer for our bill, given it was nearly £600. Secondly, services were a bit flat and the waiters seemed to be confused while taking orders, we also got served the wrong drinks. Thirdly, we were hoping to order desserts too, but were told the kitchen had closed an hour ago. While I understand that kitchens have set closing times, it would have been courteous if guests had been informed beforehand, especially those still dining. Overall the food was good & the view was excellent, we also appreciate being allowed to stay beyond our 2hr slot. However, unsure if we’d return given there are other similar restaurants/bar with much better service & experience. I tried to call the restaurant but no answer and I also emailed directly on Sunday in the hope to get a response but nothing. This review is in reply to the automated email asking about our experience.

We visited Sabine on a pretty quiet afternoon, we were so excited to try the rooftop bar! However we were left feeling really deflated by the experience, and to be honest it put a dampener on our stay at the hotel. Upon entering the bar, their wasn’t any staff to greet us or a sign saying “wait to be seated”, so we continued to walk up the entrance to the outside area, assuming we didn’t need to wait to be seated. A member of staff then walked over to us and pretty much walked us all the way back to the entrance which was a really odd exchange… we were told that we couldn’t sit outside as these seats were reserved for people who had pre booked - which we thought was fair enough, but there did seem to be a large amount of available tables on the outside terrace… but we thought no more of it. After being seated inside, we waited about 20 minutes before someone came to ask us if we would like to order a drink. In this time we had heard another server greet two people and ask them if they would like to be seated on the outside terrace! These people had not pre booked and were automatically offered this option? So when we were finally asked if we’d like to order, I asked the server if we could move to outside and they found a table for us. I found it really odd how the person who greeted us would deny us terrace seating, it made me feel really uncomfortable the entire time we were there, and I kept trying to figure out why we were treated so poorly upon arrival. The terrible service didn’t stop there, not once were we asked if we would like to order another drink. It was a beautiful day and I was fully prepared to spend the afternoon enjoying the views, the stunning weather and the impressive menu. However after realising that the copious amount of staff were incapable of delivering a level of customer service to match their price point, we decided to pay for our drinks and go elsewhere, or so we thought… 😂 Nobody came to give us the bill after we’d asked for it. 40 minutes went by and still no bill, so we headed to the bar to make their job easier and hopefully pay there. We were told to take a seat back at our table and they would be over in a second. So we happily sat back down and waited, and waited… another 25 minutes later and still no bill. In the end we had to approach another waitress again and process the payment before she could scuttle away. I am not someone who tends to complain or to even remove a service charge, but our experience at Sabine definitely wasn’t worthy of a positive review as the absolute bare minimum level of customer service was simply not exchanged. In all my years of working and visiting here, I honestly feel that “post covid London” has instilled an incredibly lazy work ethic, where people lack the fundamental skills to do their job well when working in the hospitality and retail sector, and have an incredibly poor attitude. In this industry you will almost certainly encounter some pretty rude customers, I’ve been there and those experiences are awful, which is why I always make a conscious effort to be polite and respectful to anyone who is working in hospitality, it’s not a big ask to match my energy and reserve your poor service for the customers who are rude and entitled - it’s not hard to differentiate between the two. To add to this, we actually pre booked outside seating for the evening but after our experience in the daytime, we decided to cancel our booking and not return. I’m sorry to say this but we were gutted, and wouldn’t not recommend Sabine to anyone visiting the area. I believe you can get a nice rooftop view of the area from the shopping centre across the road.

We had a wonderful time at Sabine. The weather was truly on our side so the rooftop was perfect, with great views and comfy seating. The food was excellent, specifically the sumac chicken as a highlight. Prices were that expected for London, but the set menu was a steal. 4 stars only because one of the cocktails we ordered wasn’t very nice/didn’t reflect the ingredients at all and the burger bun was quite soggy. Staff were perfect but would recommend to the management to have more floor and bar staff as there was only 1 waitress for a full terrace, who managed it very well considering, and our drinks took a little while with only 1 bartender.

Beautiful location with amazing views. Really lovely furniture, very comfortable and, had we not had to go back to work, would have happily sat there all afternoon in the sunshine! The service was slow, even though there weren't many people there. Had to get up twice to find someone to help us. Staff were very friendly though. It just seemed there was no urgency with anything. We had a 20% off code (welcome back after the refurb), but the bill was issued without the discount, so we had to ask for it to be recalculated Wine was lovely. Food was only ok - shared three small plates; everything seemed to need seasoning, just tasted quite bland. It is a really good location and these are maybe teething problems - our offices are really nearby and I organise a lot of events/social functions, so would like to go back and make use of the space again, but I am not 100% sure that I am confident they could cope with a full scale event with a large crowd. I will probably go back with team members for drinks/lunch again over the summer, so will find out!!

A real mixed bag. The view is incredible, not only of St Paul's but you can see the shard, which we didn't realise when we booked. If you go at night it's wonderful to see them both lit. We went on a week day evening and it was dead besides a few banker types discussing work. Didn't even have any music for ambiance for the majority of the evening. They eventually did put some on, only after alot more tables arrived. The service was very mixed. We had a lovely welcome and first drink. However, our waitress then changed and not for the better! The new waitress was rude, very short with us and inattentive. It soured the evening a little, despite our best efforts to not let it. Especially when the table behind us had such wonderful service from her because they were ordering by the bottle rather than cocktails. A definite snobby culture running through the bar. We were dressed very smartly, having come from the theatre, but we were made to feel like we weren't good enough. The food was a real let down. It looks great but alot of it was tepid and under seasoned. We tried to catch the waitress to ask for it to be redone, but she coincidentally disappeared at that time so we just went ahead and tried to not let it ruin the night further. I wasn't a fan of most of it, I felt like they prioritised looks over flavour, but my husband liked the majority so I've given it a 3 out of 5 to balance out our views of it. It was very slow coming out, perhaps again that's the waitress and could have tasted better if delivered from the kitchen in a timely fashion! I would definitely have made a point to complain if we weren't out for a special occasion and it risk souring the night further. However, I was determined to look on the bright side, focus on the view, drinks and the wonderful company of my husband on his birthday.

We opted to book NYE at Sabine as we were staying in the Leonardo so it seemed the most convenient choice considering how busy it is in London. We arrived just after 10pm because we had opted to eat dinner elsewhere beforehand and skip in the appetizers that were on offer. We were utterly disappointed. The service was essentially non-existent. The music was so bad. I would describe it as royalty free disco. Not a single song that an average person would recognize and want to dance to and be excited to hear on NYE. Every single person at the event was sitting at the table on their phones. Total waste of money and I hope that if they continue to charge £99 for this event in the future they at least hire a better dj who knows how to please a crowd. The only saving grace was that it was upstairs from my hotel room and had a stunning view of St. Paul’s cathedral. I imagine it would be a great venue for an afternoon drink in the summertime.

Great views, nice food and paramount service! All staff were incredibly helpful, provided useful food and cocktail recommendations, and made us feel well taken care of in this crowded bar. I was pleasantly surprised by nibble quality. Highly recommend potatoes and mac and cheese balls!

The food was good (tacos, potatoes), and everything went well with the drinks (golden finch + dusk & dawn (for liquorice/whiskey lovers)) The place has a beautiful view and a nice atmosphere. Waiters were friendly and helpful!

Visitamos aquí para una bebida y un aperitivo rápido antes de reunirse con algunos amigos para la cena. La azotea es preciosa con mantas y calentadores. El personal es encantador y amable y la comida era deliciosa.

The first waiter was attentive but the other server had zero customer service skills. He did not bother to check in with us and we had to keep calling him over. The food was beautifully presented; but most of it was stale. Should not then slap on a £6.00 per head service charge in addition to this. I was unable to eat most of the food due to the state it was delivered in. The bubbles however were the best part of the meal as well as the lobster rolls. Would not recommend this unfortunately.

Staying on the Hotel, came for a drink at 10:40pm , its half empty and they can’t give us a table Wit heater as it’s for for 4 and we are just 2. 2 0 min in, tables still no occupied and we still not able to seat where there’s a heat. Very disappointing.

Unfortunately, the service at fell short of our expectations. Despite having a reservation, we experienced lengthy wait times and a lack of organization among staff. Additionally, the management team exhibited a less-than-professional demeanor. It was particularly disappointing to have to retrieve our own drinks from the bar, especially given the service charge included in our bill. For an establishment of this caliber, such a service lapse is unacceptable. On Saturday evening, the restaurant was notably underutilized, which presents a missed opportunity for business. Overall, our experience was underwhelming and left us feeling dissatisfied.

Came here in September in the evening ordered two mocktails and the service provided was horrible. Was asking this lady some questions in regards to the drinks and she was getting annoyed and being so rude and was also rushing us with our order. The drinks served weren’t all that either will definitely not recommend it! Never coming back here. They really need to work on their service

The ambience is great but food is disappointing as I had milk and cream allergy, the food that arrived was not appealing at all. What was served for me is 1 small bread roll with cucumber, 1 small bread roll with tomatoes, 1 little crispy bread with 2 small slices of chicken and another crispy bread with some smoked salmon, 1 red velvet small cake and 1 chocolate small cake which is extremely sweet. In the end I left all the cakes. Despite I informed them when I made the reservation months ago I had milk and allergy. Chef needs to be more creative to have proper food for people with allergies.

was recommended this place by a friend. we did the unlimited drinks/tea package. i was not a fan of the bubbly. the food was a mixed bag. there were a couple of delightful things and a couple of really awful things. the scones were the best and the strawberry lollipop was the worst. they do not actually have any tea.

This has one of the best views of London and this is why you would go here. The service is good, we did the bottomless afternoon tea and we had to ask for top ups a couple of times but our server was super friendly and smiley ☺️. The best views from the rooftop. We did the afternoon tea and bottomless drinks. I loved that you could have different drinks besides champagne, but they weren’t refilled as fast as we finished. Multiple times we had to wait for the waitress to notice that our drinks were empty, which we didn’t like because wanted to make the most for what we spent. The food was good and atmosphere too.

Don’t waste your time, money or effort coming to this place. We were sat at a table with glasses and rubbish already on the table to start, the two waitresses that served us were so unbothered and slow, terrible attitude towards us when they made a mistake bringing our drinks to some other table, the two drinks that I ordered came to £36 together, and were served in a plain glass, no decoration or presentation effort, took ages to arrive, a serious disappointment for so much money. Tasted like dishwater. We then swiftly asked for the bill and had to sit there for 20 mins with no return. Eventually I was forced to get up to pay at the bar myself. Wouldn’t recommend at all.

We ordered green tea for two. This is usually priced around £3 at the most. I mean it's green tea leaves boiled in a bag. It came out undrinkable pipping hot and cost us £7.30! I am more annoyed with the price than the fact it was pipping hot. I know prices have gone up but charging this much to customers for a green tea is outrageous. It's safe to say I will spread the word and won't be coming here again!
