Had a lovely meal in Sabines whilst staying at the hotel to visit the Chelsea flower show. There were lots of choices on the menu to suit everyone.I had a wonderful non-alcoholic cocktail which tasted like lemon sherbet. We we served by Kamil who has such a nice personality.Very helpful and gave us advice on choices. All the staff had a smile on their faces and seemed very friendly.

As someone who also works within the restaurant industry (one of your competitors) as a sales exec, I have very mixed reviews on my experience here. My first red flag presented last week, I emailed twice as I wanted to see if I could bring or pay for a cake, as we were celebrating my friends birthday. I was met with silence, completely ignored. I knew from this moment that my experience as likely to be similar to the rest of the reviews. Service was horrendously slow, we sat down at 1:15pm and were met with ‘we require the table back by 3:10’. I thought that’s no problem, assuming that service would be speedy as we were paying a considerable amount of money for bottomless brunch. We didn’t get our first drink, despite asking three times, until 30 minutes later. The food was delicious but bottomless was not bottomless, my glass was left empty the majority of the time, and when we asked for the bill and one final top up we were met with attitude as our ‘time was up’. You price your bottomless at an extortionate amount of money for a cheap version of Prosecco and 2 courses, and I left very disappointed with my experience, and £80 less off. I contemplated removing service charge, but I am all too familiar of it making up the staff wages so wouldn’t do that, not that I think the service was up to par by any standard. The ONLY saving grace was Samira, she clearly felt bad for her colleagues poor service and gave us a final top up and free shots for the birthday girl. Overall, I would not return here, it feels almost like a scam just so you can sit by St Paul’s

Great view, and generally the place is set up to be very nice. However, the service left much to be desired. After waiting 15-20 minutes to be served, I asked a waitress if we could order, and was met with a very rude reply. Rather than serving us, the waitress continued on to chat with other waiters, while several tables waited for service. There are many options in London, so rude service is really not acceptable if you want repeat business. Will not be returning.

Rooftop bar overlooking the stunning St. Paul's Cathedral is the perfect place to spend a beautiful summer afternoon or evening. The food was tasty, particularly the fresh prawns. The charred sourdough bread is sized like a doorstop with luscious flavoured butter. Spritzers made to perfection with fresh mint in the Hugos. Service was excellent. The only thing Sabines could improve is the volume of the music on the rooftop. I get it's needed so you feel like you've your own space and not hearing everyone's conversations BUT being hardly able to hear the friend beside you is a bit too loud! So I'm dropping a star for that. With such a scenic location and everything else so classy the music choice could be more classy chill vibes instead of nightclub bangers!

Overpriced and disappointing—badly made cocktails, poor seating, unaccommodating staff, and an uncomfortable atmosphere ruined my birthday. Would not recommend!!! I made a booking at Sabine to celebrate my birthday, but unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing. We were given some of the worst seats on the rooftop—right next to loudspeakers, with a poor background view—which made it very difficult for my guests and me to enjoy ourselves or even hear one another properly. We politely asked to be moved, but staff were unwilling to make any adjustments, despite there clearly being other seating options available. The service also left a lot to be desired. One of the waitresses came across as quite unfriendly, and the male waiter was awkward throughout. It felt as though we were being watched in a judgmental way, which made the atmosphere really uncomfortable. To make things worse, we were told we couldn’t eat the birthday cake we brought. Then, confusingly, they said we could if we signed a waiver—only to later change their minds again and say it wasn’t allowed after all. This back-and-forth made no sense and added unnecessary stress to what should have been a celebratory occasion. Overall, the experience was frustrating and unpleasant. I wouldn’t return to Sabine or recommend it to anyone. Thankfully, we ended up going to Madison Rooftop nearby, where the atmosphere was much friendlier, and then on to Aviary, where we had a fantastic night. Sabine was a complete letdown, and I won’t be going back.

I’ve been to Sabine twice this month and both times I’ve had great service from Kamil. The bar staff are all very friendly and the cocktails are great. I was there on a busy weekday and my gin martini was delayed, but Kamil was very attentive to realise my drink hadn’t arrived and managed to get a drink to my table asap! The ambience is always great and Sabine for post work drinks!

Nice little rooftop bar. Service was a bit slow considering how quiet it was. We seemed to struggle to get the right menus at the start as well..They were all over the place at the start. They worked it out in the end. Drinks were next level expensive imo. There's pricey, and there's silly pricey. Cocktails were £18! That's too much. Even for London. Food was tasty. I had the Korean Chicken Burger which was very nice. Great view though. Would be cool to bring some friends here for a drink. Overall, a nice meal and drinks. Thank you.

Overpriced and underwhelming. The views do all the heavy lifting. Listen to the negative reviews because we didn’t and we went in wanting to enjoy ourselves but left feeling dissatisfied and still hungry. I’ve taken service charge off only twice in my life, here was one of those times. I booked a table for 2 at 3pm and while waiting for my friend I ordered a cocktail that is included in the pictures I’ve attached. At this point, it was not busy at all. I can’t remember the name of the cocktail because it was underwhelming. It was meant to be lychee flavoured yet you couldn’t taste anything of the sort. It had a petal floating at the top. But worst of all is that this drink took more than 25 minutes to arrive, so I had to call the server over again and he claimed the bar staff were ‘on it’ and that he’d go over to check on the drink. He returned with the drink very quickly after that, but there was no excuse for such a mediocre drink to take so long. We then ordered the 3 courses for £35. Starters again took more than 35 minutes to arrive. Mains were a bit quicker. Desert took 30 minutes again. The starters were good but mains and deserts were sub-par. I know £35 is cheap in London, but I wouldn’t have even priced it at £35! We still felt hungry. Then the bill comes and a 12.5% ‘discretionary’ charge is slapped on top of the already vastly over priced meal. I asked the waitress to take it off because why would I pay 12.5 percent for such awful service? I was at a Michelin star meal the week before and 12.5% there is justified, but here? Absolutely not. She enquired why I took the service charge off (I think people forget the work ‘discretionary’ in discretionary charge) and I told her everything. She was very apologetic and had it not been for her and the views of the place, I think we would’ve stormed out. I still paid £44.20 for the food and drink - that was after the waitress took 10% off as an apology AND the service charge came off. But the experience and food still wasn’t worth that!

Another of those London places where they put the music so loud that you cannot have a proper after-work discussion without shouting. We even asked the manager who said music volume was fine. People come here to enjoy the view, a sunset, a cocktail and a chat. Not to feel as in a club at 1am.

Quite disappointed with my experience here. I ordered the three course meal for £35. It took a 35 minute wait for my drink and starter order to be taken and an additional 30 minute wait for my dessert to arrive. Booked for birthday meal. Service was appalling, we waited an hour for our food and the waitress brought the bill even before we got our mains? There was loads of servers on tonight but the service was subpar, it was very expensive as well, £18 for a cocktail that can cost me £2.50 to make. The only good thing was that when the food did arrive for starters it was good, such a shame.

I think we chose the wrong place ... we were expecting lunch and a drink not the other way round. The Sabine Rooftop Bar seems to be geared to drinks, and expensive drinks at that. I was treating my partner but he decided not to have any wine because there wasn't any at a reasonable price. (He had a beer.) The food was good but more like snack sizes than lunch (we had arancini, crudo fish, avo on sourdough and a burger in a beetroot bun). So the overall experience was expensive and a bit disappointing. The music was horribly loud ... the view was amazing.

I was staying at the hotel for one night, so I booked Sabine for some evening drinks. When we arrived we had to wait for the host for a few minutes. When she arrived she said specifically, put them on table 22. She then laughed with her colleague. I asked her what was funny about table 22. She ignored me and her colleague took us to the table. It was in a dark corner and we were told we couldn’t be moved and that everywhere else was booked. This wasn’t the case as there were many empty tables and space on the terrace! Even when we left there were many space. We were so disappointed and this experience felt like we were profiled. A new member of staff tried to rectify the situation but we had a drink and left. What a shame. Myself and my son booked in here for a meal yesterday evening as we were staying at the Leonardo Royal hotel. We were shown to our table and given drinks menus. We ordered a beer and a glass of wine which came to £25. We asked the waitress for the food menu but she never returned. When we asked her a second time she told us that the kitchen was closed due to a technical issue. This information had not been given to us when we were greeted at the door and shown to our table. Had we been given this information we would not even have spent £25 on 2 drinks. Understandably we asked for the service charge to be removed from our bill. Really bad show. Will not be returning and do not recommend. The service was awful. We had a lovely meal and excellent service downstairs in the Leo restaurant of the hotel instead.

Not a particularly enticing menu and everything was very salty and the wine list could do with a bit of an overhaul. Could be called Instagram bar. Stunning view, beautiful place, beautiful and tasty cocktails... This could announce an amazing night, but the service is ruining everything. If you don't come here overdressed and order expensive bottles, don't expect to be respected. 4 waiters for about 20 clients, none of them asking for a second drink, but don't worry they don't forget to ask how you wanna pay. When the lady said she'd come with the bill, 20 minutes have passed and.. nothing. The lady walked next to us maybe about 10 times but too focused on her 2 rich tables outside to care about the others. I tried to call a waiter with a kind "excuse me", barely got the time to finish to pronounce these words that he just answered "one sec" and never came back. What a familial and disrespectful way of talking to people when you provide such a posh appearance. When I finally got to call the lady again, she apologised, but we've been waiting again about 10 minutes (well there was an expensive table that order expensive stuff so, you know, priorities). Kindly advising customers to run away for another rooftop, we're not missing of them in London, and employees to consider all their clients on the same bar, money is not always linked to appearance.

Sabine Rooftop Bar: Where St Pauls is Iced in Glory and the Cocktails Come with a Fanfare If you’ve ever wanted to sip a cocktail while staring directly into the soul of St Paul’s Cathedral, then Sabine is your place. And not from a distance, mind you—this is proximity with a capital P. So close, in fact, that one can trace the intricate detail of the dome with the eye of a jeweller inspecting a tiara. The cupola rises so proudly, it looks as though a grand pâtissier had piped it onto the skyline in a fit of baroque ambition, rosettes and all, with budding grandeur and the swagger of a Great British Bake-Off finalist. The rooftops around you don’t simply sit quietly either—they burst and sprout with mythological faces, mascarons, and cornices, all seemingly designed by a fever dream collaboration between Ruskin and Fellini. It’s a skyline that mutters to itself in Latin and occasionally breaks into an operatic recital. And then—turn your head slightly—and there lies the Thames, sweeping her skirts past London’s finest. Our sunhats, with all the self-importance of summering aunts, brayed and flapped at the panorama. As the golden hour descended, the buildings along the river were illuminated with such radiant light, it felt as though someone had turned the saturation up on real life. One half expected a string quartet to pop up from behind the shrubs and start in on Vivaldi. Enter Joe—Sabine’s unofficial maître d' of charm. Welcoming without fuss, he moved between tables with the elegance of a man on a stage, presenting our drinks with such courtly flourish that we instinctively sat up straighter. Each glass arrived as though announced by fanfare, and yet, despite the palpable buzz around us, Joe made us feel like the evening’s honoured guests. A rare feat, and deeply appreciated. Reviewing a venue like this is sheer joy—it felt like we’d flown abroad without ever leaving the postcode. A momentary escape, a gossamer curtain of make-believe, drawn across the evening sky. If you long to get away from it all, with all the splendour of London still at your feet, Sabine is the place. Just add sunshine, a good hat, and perhaps a cocktail named after a mythological beast.

I had the misfortune of trying to eat at the restaurant today as I was staying in the hotel and needed something close by for lunch. I would not recommend eating there at this time. they are renovating which means you are using an alternate entrance, that's fine and not an issue, businesses need to update from time to time. The main issue was that the new entrance was a swinging wood door that banged extremely loudly every 15-20 seconds as staff ran in and out. It was beyond distracting so much so that I left mid-way through lunch due to it. The food lacked flavor as well, I had the chicken burger and it was dry and not seasoned. The moon cocktail I also had was poorly made and lacked flavor. Overall my experience today missed the mark by a long shot, disappointing. The only upside was the beautiful view of the church from your seat.

Light and airy, fantastic views, good vibe (dj spinning old school Ibiza style tunes). Took a while to get a drink, and get our food ordered, but they both arrived swiftly when we did. All in all, very enjoyable and we will return.

Had a really good time at Sabine. Top view of St. Paul Cathedral, comfy sofas and nice and calm playlist on the back ground. Not expensive since we spent 8£ each for Soft Drink + Tacos

We spontaneously went to the rooftop bar after lunch and were served immediately and very courteously. Super delicious food and great service! We paid £21 per person for two courses. Great ambience and great view. Gladly again!

Drinks delicius but very slow service, we have been sitting for 1h and 30 minutes and we got approached only once, we couldn't order any drinks cause the server never approached us, we just wanted to have a good time drinking and we couldn't do that. Ahi ahi ( painful)

Lovely atmosphere and great food! The staff were so attentive and friendly and made my birthday party so special! Special thanks to the hostess Maeria for her warmth and professionalism - she made us all so welcome, paying attention to the small details, and the night wouldn’t have been the same without her help!

It was my birthday and after lunch decided to have some drinks. I was really disappointed, the lady that took us to the table said that all the tables outside were reserved, and we need to stay in site, not true as people after us were choosing the tables. No one approached our table to take our orders and when we make the sign to someone to come to our table, the reaction wasn’t friendly. We asked for Aperol Spritz and for our surprise they brough us Campari and assured that was Aperol. Really not a good experience

We spontaneously went to the rooftop bar for lunch and would come back at any time! The view was awesome and so was the ambience of the bar. As soon as we sat down, we were immediately served by an incredibly nice, courteous and committed service specialist. For us the experience was perfect. Lunch was two courses for £21, the food was excellent and the price was extremely fair. Thanks for the great lunch.

We had drinks and dinner at Sabine 5th April, with our friends. Overall, mixed reviews tbh. Firstly, I only became aware of the 20% discount a daily offer on throughout April, the next morning after our visit. Unfortunately, this wasn't mentioned to us at the time of payment, nor was it clearly signposted during our visit. Had we known, we would have certainly appreciated the discount offer for our bill, given it was nearly £600. Secondly, services were a bit flat and the waiters seemed to be confused while taking orders, we also got served the wrong drinks. Thirdly, we were hoping to order desserts too, but were told the kitchen had closed an hour ago. While I understand that kitchens have set closing times, it would have been courteous if guests had been informed beforehand, especially those still dining. Overall the food was good & the view was excellent, we also appreciate being allowed to stay beyond our 2hr slot. However, unsure if we’d return given there are other similar restaurants/bar with much better service & experience. I tried to call the restaurant but no answer and I also emailed directly on Sunday in the hope to get a response but nothing. This review is in reply to the automated email asking about our experience.

I had an amazing experience at Sabine Rooftop Bar! The stunning views of St Paul’s set the perfect backdrop for an unforgettable meal. The atmosphere was vibrant and inviting, making it an ideal spot for both relaxation and socializing. The food was delicious, with a great selection that catered to various tastes. The service was top-notch, with friendly and attentive staff who made us feel welcome. Overall, I highly recommend Sabine for anyone looking to enjoy fantastic food and drinks in a beautiful setting!

I visited here late after afternoon to meet someone. We ordered our drinks and a portion of food. Food and drinks were appropriate. However, Mocktails/Cocktails are on higher end of price. Something which bothered me was the constant check by the servers ‘anything else, anything else’. It is like you are asking to leave. On contrary, we had to ask 3 times for the water. Rest is fine. No issues with the place, vibe and everything.

We visited Sabine on a pretty quiet afternoon, we were so excited to try the rooftop bar! However we were left feeling really deflated by the experience, and to be honest it put a dampener on our stay at the hotel. Upon entering the bar, their wasn’t any staff to greet us or a sign saying “wait to be seated”, so we continued to walk up the entrance to the outside area, assuming we didn’t need to wait to be seated. A member of staff then walked over to us and pretty much walked us all the way back to the entrance which was a really odd exchange… we were told that we couldn’t sit outside as these seats were reserved for people who had pre booked - which we thought was fair enough, but there did seem to be a large amount of available tables on the outside terrace… but we thought no more of it. After being seated inside, we waited about 20 minutes before someone came to ask us if we would like to order a drink. In this time we had heard another server greet two people and ask them if they would like to be seated on the outside terrace! These people had not pre booked and were automatically offered this option? So when we were finally asked if we’d like to order, I asked the server if we could move to outside and they found a table for us. I found it really odd how the person who greeted us would deny us terrace seating, it made me feel really uncomfortable the entire time we were there, and I kept trying to figure out why we were treated so poorly upon arrival. The terrible service didn’t stop there, not once were we asked if we would like to order another drink. It was a beautiful day and I was fully prepared to spend the afternoon enjoying the views, the stunning weather and the impressive menu. However after realising that the copious amount of staff were incapable of delivering a level of customer service to match their price point, we decided to pay for our drinks and go elsewhere, or so we thought… 😂 Nobody came to give us the bill after we’d asked for it. 40 minutes went by and still no bill, so we headed to the bar to make their job easier and hopefully pay there. We were told to take a seat back at our table and they would be over in a second. So we happily sat back down and waited, and waited… another 25 minutes later and still no bill. In the end we had to approach another waitress again and process the payment before she could scuttle away. I am not someone who tends to complain or to even remove a service charge, but our experience at Sabine definitely wasn’t worthy of a positive review as the absolute bare minimum level of customer service was simply not exchanged. In all my years of working and visiting here, I honestly feel that “post covid London” has instilled an incredibly lazy work ethic, where people lack the fundamental skills to do their job well when working in the hospitality and retail sector, and have an incredibly poor attitude. In this industry you will almost certainly encounter some pretty rude customers, I’ve been there and those experiences are awful, which is why I always make a conscious effort to be polite and respectful to anyone who is working in hospitality, it’s not a big ask to match my energy and reserve your poor service for the customers who are rude and entitled - it’s not hard to differentiate between the two. To add to this, we actually pre booked outside seating for the evening but after our experience in the daytime, we decided to cancel our booking and not return. I’m sorry to say this but we were gutted, and wouldn’t not recommend Sabine to anyone visiting the area. I believe you can get a nice rooftop view of the area from the shopping centre across the road.

We waited over 40 minutes for our drinks and didn't get anything. As no one seemed to really care we left. Quite a nice view, but also a bit blocked from other buildings. the service isn't worth going there. Very loud music, dirty bathroom, waiters were not nice or helpful. A bar that tries to be fancy, but fails on all terms.

We had a wonderful time at Sabine. The weather was truly on our side so the rooftop was perfect, with great views and comfy seating. The food was excellent, specifically the sumac chicken as a highlight. Prices were that expected for London, but the set menu was a steal. 4 stars only because one of the cocktails we ordered wasn’t very nice/didn’t reflect the ingredients at all and the burger bun was quite soggy. Staff were perfect but would recommend to the management to have more floor and bar staff as there was only 1 waitress for a full terrace, who managed it very well considering, and our drinks took a little while with only 1 bartender.

Beautiful location with amazing views. Really lovely furniture, very comfortable and, had we not had to go back to work, would have happily sat there all afternoon in the sunshine! The service was slow, even though there weren't many people there. Had to get up twice to find someone to help us. Staff were very friendly though. It just seemed there was no urgency with anything. We had a 20% off code (welcome back after the refurb), but the bill was issued without the discount, so we had to ask for it to be recalculated Wine was lovely. Food was only ok - shared three small plates; everything seemed to need seasoning, just tasted quite bland. It is a really good location and these are maybe teething problems - our offices are really nearby and I organise a lot of events/social functions, so would like to go back and make use of the space again, but I am not 100% sure that I am confident they could cope with a full scale event with a large crowd. I will probably go back with team members for drinks/lunch again over the summer, so will find out!!

We ordered green tea for two. This is usually priced around £3 at the most. I mean it's green tea leaves boiled in a bag. It came out undrinkable pipping hot and cost us £7.30! I am more annoyed with the price than the fact it was pipping hot. I know prices have gone up but charging this much to customers for a green tea is outrageous. It's safe to say I will spread the word and won't be coming here again!
