Worst Gail’s I’ve ever been to. Staff is rude and service is chaotic.

Had an Almond Croissant, Pain Au Chocolate, Honey cake and two teas to takeaway. Service was fast and to the point. Front area looked clean and it was well stocked. Food was standard the Honey cake was really nice though.

Best Cinnamon Rolls, we went back more than once to eat them! The staff is very welcoming and kind as well.

The most perfect pastries, a selection from the invention of the world, everything tasty and delicious, the only pity is that your wallet won't thank you 🤣

Less than normal.. The taste of butter is not strong in the croissants.. I liked the pecan and cinnabon cake and it has little sugar 👍

Went to this branch a few times but today I went for TooGoodToGo for a change. When I arrived, the bag was ready but the loaf wasn’t sliced, I politely asked the male staff to slice it for me using the machine and yes, I was turned down in a unfriendly way, I was surprised and asked again to make sure I didn’t hear it wrong but I was wrong. I was saving the waste for the store by paying half price deal on TGTG platform but the service was ghastly! Other stores in the area are so much nicer in terms of atmosphere and services.

The place is nice Food and coffee were good But, oh man, why is the guy behind the counter rude and so upset about? Very bad attitude and seems to be angry about something!

Did not like the experience. The man behind the counter was rude. Not only the attitude was terrible, but when I ordered cream and jam, he gave me portion only quarter of what I have seen in the pictures uploaded by other guests. Almost felt like racism, I won’t go back again.

One of my favorite bakeries, I’ve been coming to this branch ever since it opened and I feel like at home whenever I’m here. Super friendly and helpful staff, great location, and yummy pastries.

A bakery and a café at the same time. The place is nice and small. They have specialty coffee that does not taste burnt. We tried the flat white coffee and the cappuccino, all of which were delicious. The dessert was banana pecan cake with salted caramel, and we had oatmeal cookies with pecans and caramelberries.

People, stay away from the giveaways. It's better for you. Oh God, I won't come. Force me. The one with me says that Trend Coffee doesn't care about keeping it. The baked goods are very ordinary. The price is high. The sessions are uncomfortable and ordinary.. I don't recommend it.. Try it yourself, go places and explore, and God is much better.

I got really ill because of a dairy intolerance that wasnt taken seriously. I received regular cows milk instead of what I actually ordered - oat milk in my matcha.

Had a overpriced old hard salmon bagel, and a very average, also cold focaccia. Bagel broke my gf’s retainer because it was so hard!

A bakery in the first branch of Agorrod Street. Small place. Few tables. The coffee is normal. The contents are a refrigerator containing drinks and salads, and a large table on which there are products, including sandwiches and cakes, from which you can choose, order your coffee, and be charged, and the water on the table is free in Dolkah.

Grabbed scones and coffee here every morning when we visited London. Absolutely delicious.

This is by far the worst Gail's store I've visited. The man behind the counter was unfriendly, rude, and unpleasant, making customers feel very uncomfortable. I would definitely recommend avoiding this location.

It is better to replace glass cups with paper ones, as well as spoons and forks with plastic ones, because they do not clean them well.

I just left today Friday 8 th of November. The toilets were without paper or soap. I imagine the bakery staff use the same toilet as the customers. So who’s really washing their hands before preparing food? I just left my food and went. It is really disgusting not having proper hygiene in place.

Wonderful experience every time! The breakfast & sandwiches are fresh and flavorful, and the team is always so kind. Love the magic of their bakers.

Had our morning coffee and a small breakfast almost every day, while on our trip. A small and cozy place with many options to choose from. The coffee and food were amazing and delicious. Wished it had a larger space inside to sit and enjoy my coffee on the busier days.

The coffee is very good and so are the breakfast options. Something expensive.

I dont understand the low rating of this spot! Service is so kind. Fast service. Fresh baked great food. Wifi is fast too good to have meetings there is a quiet area in the back

En lugar de comer comida chatarra cara allí, compramos un banquete absoluto en Gail’s y disfrutamos en nuestros asientos. Muy hermosa comida deli, recién hecho. El café que tomamos en el camino también fue sublime.

Currently in Gail’s as a first time visitor previous review of abrupt staff by other reviewers is accurate plus I will add staff are miserable. Sourdough toast not toasted much, butter rock hard, jam like water no evidence of any fruit whatsoever. I now suspect why the porridge was sold out at 9.00 am. The coffee is nothing to write home about - the whole experience was poor. At these prices, poor service and almost no attention to detail I think Gail’s for people who are not really discerning.

The most delicious bakery was close to me. Literally every day I break my fast with it, delicious in a way that you cannot count on types that are not halal. Ask them and they will teach you ✋🏻

They were out of ice. Iced tea tastes like flavored water. They were out of Chai as well. Tables were not clean.

02. 08. 2024 I think the lady had a bad night or was simply very unwell. Kindness 0. The counter still had about 20 products, it was almost empty. I bought a roll with feta and spinach. I don't know what the hell non-chewable sticks were inside and spinach leaves that I had to spit out because they were too hard. Since the prices are enormous, the quality of the products leaves much to be desired. Totally disappointed and unsatisfied. I'm definitely not going back!

The egg pie is amazing, the croissants are very delicious and light, and the cinnamon is special and we come every time because the service is excellent and classy.

Food isn’t special, just regular taste in small potions. Staff is unfriendly (as others have already described). Tables aren’t cleaned at all, the toilets look like they’ve never been cleaned too.

Stop somewhere. The cakes were very good. But we ordered two lattes, a scone and another small cake. The sign for scones said cream and jam, which we didn't get. When we went up and asked for it, we were told that it was extra, but we were lucky and were graciously allowed to get it for free today. When we had reached half way through the food and the coffee still hadn't arrived, while people who had come after us had had their coffee, we stood up and found out that they had forgotten us. Also, we had to pay extra to eat on site, which we did when we also needed to use the toilet, only to find it out of order. Also, the clerk behind the counter was very angry, rude and arrogant, and seemed very indifferent to the mistakes she made

The restaurant itself is quite charming, but my experience was unfortunately tarnished by a particularly unpleasant interaction with one of the staff members. I requested a spinach pie, only to be told that it was no longer available. However, just five minutes later, I noticed the same item being served to another customer. Additionally, there were dishes left on my table that I asked to be cleared, but the staff member completely ignored my request. He was neither welcoming nor polite, which left me feeling angry and disappointed. I had hoped for a much better experience, but the poor service overshadowed the otherwise nice ambiance of the place.

GAIL's bakery has it all! A delicious selection of sweet and savory pastries and tasty coffee. We enjoyed their sausage rolls, sultana scones with clotted cream and jam, and pistachio/rose cake. They went perfectly a the rich Americano. We were also able to snag a seat to enjoy it all.

My order was apple pie and custard with blueberries. The first was delicious and we would recommend it as the second one had a not-so-bitter taste. The vanilla tea was excellent and had a nice smell.

My friends had the sausage rolls and said they were good. I had the blueberry and custard brioche. Was tasty. Would go well with coffee.

I was happy to see a Gail's not far from my hotel, having had a pleasant memory of my previous trip to Pimlico, I even abandoned the free hotel breakfast to eat porridge at Gail's. I first came across a waiter who barely spoke English, I understand that there are a lot of Japanese in the neighborhood, but still...then the manager(?) without smiling, came to act as interpreter, with a haughty air (because he works in Marylebone?!) paradoxically the whole thing reminds me more of a pho restaurant where, as Ali Wong says, you're emotionally abused but you still go there for the good pho lol , except this time, the scone was cold! In short, this type of service would shock me less at pho 13, but something doesn’t feel right here at Gail’s. And the WiFi didn't work!

Food is great, as any Gail’s, but this venue never cleans up their tables, and most of servers just ignore clients while they finish chatting. I used to come daily and had asked to warm up a bit my scones and never been an issue, but this time the server not only ignored me for a while but also said she couldn’t do it, in such an unwelcome way that I decided to leave and never coming back again. As a hospitality worker, I’m very disappointed. Go to Pret next door and avoid this venue, same food quality but outstanding service and better price.

At my table eating a bun and having a coffee a beggar walked in .. I was on my iPhone at the table. She put a “I’m hungry “ paper into my face … fingered my sandwich … so I looked up shocked , about to say something and she snatched my iPhone and calmly walked out. I made a police report as the manager said the police have to request the cct footage. The police have contacted them and they have REFUSED to hand it over !!! Shame on you Gail’s. My investigation has been closed due to the managers attitude of not caring about the customer

We came to Gail’s today when we couldn’t find a reservation for afternoon tea. Boy am I glad we did! I really wanted to try a biscuit with clotted cream and jam and I LOVED it! It was so delicious, I plan to go back for more tomorrow! The biscuit is perfect and their cream and jam combo is seriously delicious. I have been reminiscing about eating it all day long! I also had the Parmesan chicken sandwich, the bun was delicious, the chicken was well prepared, seasoned nicely and had a great semi-spicy sauce on it. I was really surprised how delicious it was and would order it again. My husband had the ham quiche which he enjoyed and said the brownie finger was a “better than normal” brownie which for him is a great compliment because he’s quite the brownie connoisseur and usually restaurant brownies fall flat. Basically, if you’re thinking about going here, do it! But go early, I got the last scone of the day shortly before 3pm.

Terrible service!! Asked for a scone next to a tea to eat inside, got a cheddar scone and a tea to go. Will definitely not come back.

I work in the area and these guys make me smile every single time. Today, Pawel, made the yummiest cappuccino without burning the milk. Honestly, this is so precious in busy London. OK, I know it is Monday morning, but come on Gail's employees, try to put on a smile when you serve your customers!!! The Asian male employee has the most grumpy look ever... he did say thank you with his grumpy look. Maybe it's NOT a good job fit for him, should consider working behind the scenes.

Morning of 11 Dec 2023. No festive cheer here! Guy at till with glasses robotic. Need to improve customer service. Kitchen catering for a corp order thus long wait for breakfast… homework mark… could do better.

Great cafe, alternative to Starbucks. Lots of pastries and savory items to eat or out. Plenty of cafe drinks. Seating indoors or out.
