On Wednesday night we wnet to the The Front Bar in Banbridge. Our mail was very good, but the service was not up to standard. When we went in we waited for about 5 minutes before any one came to serve us. We eventually got our meal and as I said the food was good, but the staff and not trained properlly. This not the fault of the staff, but the management themselves. I think for what our meal cost the service could have been much better.

Very nice selection of cakes and sandwiches, scones were a bit small but fresh Plenty of tea and coffee and more if we wanted it. Staff were very friendly and attentive Bit of a lack of communication with tje booking, manager said he would sort it out when we arrived It ended as there were six people in the party had to pay for another two so t made it expensive expensive I would go again though as it would have beeb gone value at £19 for two people

Needed a decent cup of tea and decided to try this place In preference to one of the chains. Sat at the street table and ordered tea and a cappuccino. Didn't have to wait too long and host was very friendly. My wife said the tea was excellent and my coffee was beautiful. Definitely worth a look but, be aware it is cash only, no cards.

Lovely spot for a late afternoon snack. Decided to have a late afternoon drive out to Clitheroe. As it had been several years since I was last in Clitheroe I really had no idea what was on offer in terms of cafés and similar places for coffee and a sandwich etc. To be honest within a small radius there were a few but opted for Brioche. Thankfully just made it in time for food. Firstly I had a sandwich on lovely tasty granary bread and my partner a substantial toasted sandwich upgraded to chips for a lot less than other places we've eaten. I was really impressed by the value for money this place offers, again in and around Preston I've paid more for sandwiches of lesser quality than this. Finally hot drinks and again really impressed with the value for money and really decent coffee, it seems to be the norm now to pay over £3 for a large Americano but not here. Seemingly Clitheroe still has a number of decent and reasonably priced establishments but we will be sure revisit Brioche.

I went with my family for an overnight stay at The Bologbroke Arms on 27/09. We checked in mid afternoon and decided to venture to the bar for a quick drink. We enjoyed the ambience and quality of service so much that we ended up staying for food, which was excellent. However, what really sets the Bolingbroke apart is the outstanding service from the team, with a special mention to Jess and co on the dinner service for helping us to enjoy a lovely evening. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Excellent sourdough bread but everything else overpriced. The portions are extremely small so it makes the prices very expensive as you’re not getting much for your money. Toasties are £9 using very small slices of bread and quite simple fillings, no salad or anything extra. Shortbread slice tiny for £3 - it’s only about two mouthfuls. The cheese scone, at £4, is probably the best value - it was delicious until you eat a bite with a peppercorn in, which completely overpowers any other flavour. I don’t mind more expensive but I don’t feel the size of the portions justify the price.

Lugar increíblemente promedio con m por encima del precio promedio. Precios premium pero no calidad premium. La comida no es nada especial y limitada en la elección. Con todo, promedio. También tienen los mundos más pequeños tv montado con el otro siendo de calidad proyector.

Excellent welcome from land lady Margaret A very talented lady as the decor inside the pub proves. Staff polite and helpful . Very friendly place locals happy to share their enthusiasm for their rejuvenated community Pub. Another local shared how good the food is and from what we saw all looked very tasty with thoughtful presentation. We will be back to eat with friends to support this unique place . No longer called The Drovers now the Cockerel new name new vision new approach

We dropped in here for lunch while out walking with friends. It was Wednesday lunch time and there were only four people in the pub drinking. On first impressions you could be forgiven for wondering “what have I walked into”. We ordered our drinks selecting two ales from the kegs and soft drinks for our wives. The lady behind the bar was very welcoming and brought menus and the specials board to our table. “Wow”, what a choice we had, which worried me a little as I was thinking with no customers and such a choice what’s the food going to be like and how long will we have to wait. I need not have worried. We all selected a different dish and by the time we were enjoying our second pint of Green Jack the food arrived. It was excellent, the pie came with a gravy boat, we all have ample veg which was beautifully cooked. A real pleasant surprise. The surrounding are not that great, you don’t need your best bib and tucker on, but the food and beer is excellent. We will definitely return and plan to give the Sunday Lunch a try.
