Visited the Caffe on Saturday afternoon for drinks & cake following a book review meeting. Young lady waitressing and man behind the counter both very miserable. The Caffe was nearly empty (one other table was occupied) and we were shown to a dark dreary table at the back. We asked if we could be seated at the front, where it was bright and airy, and was told no as the tables were for two people. We asked if two tables could be pushed together and in the first was told no, but as the waitress had started to begrudgingly move two together, we sat down and ordered. Really wish we hadn't have bothered as their attitude was so bad it was most uncomfortable and they weren't serving crepes, which is the reason why we went in. Will not be returning and would not recommend.

Visited for coffee and cake, I've walked past many times and thought how nice it looked but never been in until yesterday, well what can I say, myself and 2 friends were seated by a dark haired girl, we were given menus, the server returned to take our order and before we could open our mouth to order she just walked off, we then waited for her return and by the scowl on her face we could see she wasn't suited by us interrupting her day. We ordered crepes and coffees, the lattes arrived in really small "cups" without handles they were the most bizarre coffee cups we'd ever had and unsuitable for hot coffer as couldn't be picked up, the crepes arrived they were very thin and small for the price, they had the strangest aftertaste and were unpleasant. My friend paid the bill and we went to Costas for a better customer service. First and last visit

Happened upon this cafe that looked lovely from the outside, and inviting on the inside. But looks can be deceiving. A venue is only able to thrive when the customer service meets expectations. Yes, we were greeted well, but when it was time to order and I mentioned to the petite, blonde server that I had food sensitivities, it seemed to become a burden. I simply asked if I could have bacon and poached eggs, both of which were on the menu as seperate items. But no, because they weren't on the menu together, this wasn't allowed. I was met with the suggestion of either an omelette, which is usually made with cheese... or scrambled eggs, which is usually made with butter and milk. I can't have dairy, which I explained to the server when she first came over. I repeated my request of simple bacon and poached eggs, and the reply was, I've just said we can't do that, I don't know what you want from me. What would have been nice was to either speak to the manager, or the chef. This person obviously needs more training regarding allergies. Safe to say, we did not stay. We got up left and went to Starbucks instead. This is a real shame for small, local businesses. Do better.

We had lunch here, two couples, one couple with salads, the other with lasagna.Both salads were excellent; for the second one we had to ask for a little more dressing. Both substantial and well presented. The lasagna looked good and went down a treat. They arrived more than piping hot, as if they had been cooked in Mount Etna, so careful as you start eating them. Far better than the oftern lukewarm lasagne one get in cafes;

I visited on a sunny morning last week. Was very pleased to be able to sit outside and it was an enjoyable experience. Good coffee and croissant. It felt safe, although had to go inside to pay. Two pleasant waitresses had served at tables up till then. My only concern-I thought it was procedure throughout restaurants and cafes to be asked for contact details in case of a covid outbreak. Nobody asked my friend or I for even our names.

I really used to like this place and was a very frequent visitor. I used to forgive the cash-only under £10 rule because their coffee used to be so good - but now we're well into an age of contactless card payments and this just seems plain odd, (and actually a little dubious)... I went to Cafe Vita to meet my friend as we have never been there before. The cafe itself is quite nice.Unfortunately the service is absolutely atrocious! The staff there weren't friendly or smiling, and actually one of the girls was quite rude to my friend when she would have ordered the same ham and cheese croissant that I had ordered earlier.I know we all have good and bad days, however if you have life THAT much, then better not to be in the customer facing role. Please also note they don't take cards for purchases less than £10!

It was the first proper outing with my wife in her wheelchair. On the approach to the door we were spotted about 20 yards away and the doors were being held open by the time we got to them. Once we’d found a table, the staff then removed a chair and then slightly moved the table to make space for the wheelchair. As for the food, that was just as good as the attention we got from the staff. My chicken and bacon panini was lovely, and the coffee was great. This was my first time, and I really can’t fault the place, so will be going back when I get the chance.

I've been very disappointed with Caffe Vita recently. I am a regular and have been going since it opened (weekly until the last price rise in which we had to go less often). I'd built up a rapport with the guy who runs it and have been a very happy customer. My son only eats certain food and he has happily obliged by making him food that was previously on the menu. We are also known to sit upstairs. The last 3 times however have differed. On attempt one and two we were asked to move seats multiple times and not allowed upstairs or even on tables we'd like to sit on downstairs. Food was also cold in the middle. On attempt 3, we were again not allowed upstairs to eat, and this time also told they could no longer accommodate my sons requirements. They've also changed the menu, putting prices up a second time and removing the items we always have. The man who we always talk to chose to ignore our existence and although my son asked to speak to him, was blocked by a lady member of staff. Very unusually bad customer service and not something I'd come to expect from them. We walked out on this third recent visit. We are very disappointed and can't see us returning. Such as a shame as we've been recommending the place for quite a while.

I love going in here but I asked recently if any of their breads etc were suitable for coeliacs. Unfortunately the answer was no which would be ok but I thought it should say so on the menu. However when I looked through the menu I realised why. There is no food which my friend could eat. So the menu would have to say that everything had gluten. Not a good selling point. One or two items which didn't have gluten would be a great addition to the menu.

Our drinks were brought quickly and it was really good to have a cappuccino which tasted like coffee not hot milk. My wife had olives from the starter menu whilst I had a filled tuna roll which needed a knife and fork to eat due to the amount of filling, not just tuna but eggs and olives as well as salad. My hot chocolate was very good so top marks for that. Two downsides, though - food was a bit pricey for what it was and the ladies could do with a thorough clean: the door was quite dirty around the handle - shows up quite badly on a white painted door - which is inexcusable in this day and age and could have been cleaned quite easily. Also floor could be a bit cleaner: dirty corners, I'm afraid...

For my wife and I this is, by far, the best Italian coffee experience in Rugby. If you truly enjoy an excellent coffee then this is the cafe to visit. We usually order cappuccinos and they come with Muhammad's genuine latte art. We never have to add sugar to these delicious drinks, as we do in other coffee shops. We've been regular visitors to Cafe Vita since it opened almost 2 years ago. Located in the heart of Rugby town centre on High Street, it's a great place to start your visit to the town. Muhammad and his team offer a warm and friendly welcome, with excellent service. There is a nice ambience here with wooden tables and chairs, low lighting but with big windows. I have visited this coffee shop a number of times. It has a good atmosphere and is well decorated in the cafes theme. I usually go with my 8 year old son as it's the first coffee shop we've found that does proper food that he will eat i.e. not just cake. I have also taken along my husband on one occasion & my brother another time. Each time has proved a hit. My personal preference is the crispy bacon topped muffin with fried egg, crepe with nutella and a decaf cappuccino. My 8 year old recommends either the scrambled egg & bacon on toast or the french pizza baguette, chocolate cake & apple juice. The side salad does get covered in dressing so be sure to ask for it without if dressing isn't your thing. The staff are friendly and have been very patient & smiley when my son has insisted on ordering everything himself. The staff come to your table to serve you and you pay at the till at the end. This did catch us out on the first couple of occasions as other cafes in Rugby insist you pay at the start, so i did very nearly walk out without paying. The cafe takes card payments over £10, but if you order less than £10 worth then it is cash only. There is a cash machine just outside the front door though. Most of the tables are 2's, but there are 3x tables of 4+ and I have seen others putting tables together to make larger ones. There are also tables outside although i've only ever sat inside. It tends to get a little busy at lunchtimes, but is very quiet the rest of the day. Regardless i've always found a table and service has always been good.Toilets are situated upstairs and are pleasant enough. This is not the sort of cafe i have ventured into with my toddler. For that i go nextdoor to Kuni's. But this is a great cafe for slightly older children & adults. Highly recommended.

We dropped in for a drink and a snack on a Monday morning and although the savory food was its usual excellent self, apart from a couple of croissants there were no cakes to be seen, just empty plates on display. My husband was delighted with his panino and tea, but I just settled for the excellent hot chocolate. We'll be back again soon, so make sure those cakes are stocked up, especially the gorgeous chocolate cake!

I had THE best Antipasta plate this afternoon. Beautifully presented and filling. Their coffee was perfect and not too hot. Thank you for a really satisfying lunch. Will see you soon!

We've occasionally got to Rigby with my family, during our holiday trip to the UK. We popped in for a lunch to Caffe Vita and never regret to do so - beautiful experience. Delicious deserts and the best coffee so far.. Coffee in London sukkz, generally.

I have been to Cafe Vita several times since it opened and I think it's such a great addition to the town centre, particularly in area which is somewhat in need of regeneration. The staff are so friendly and helpful and the food is good value. They have a great menu with lots of choice and everything I have had has been delicious. At times, when busy, food has been a little slow but nothing to worry about too much as when it comes, it's always good.A new regular haunt for me in Rugby!

My partner and I come here nearly every day for cappucino (double shot) and mocha, which we think are the best in Rugby. Love the decor, the atmosphere and especially the staff who remember us every time and are always friendly and very efficient. They have an interesting menu mainly of snacks including bagettes and paninis but they also do specialities like 'Grilled and Chilled' (grilled aubergines, peppers, tomatoes, courgettes) with mint, lemon and ciabatta bread. Everything has it's own little twist to it and they use different breads, herbs etc which make for interesting dishes. We rarely go anywhere else now!

Just when I thought Rugby couldn't sustain yet another coffee shop, along came Cafe Vita. I've lunched there twice in the past month and will be paying many more visits. The selection of sandwiches, panini and other savoury snacks is brilliant. The food is delivered quickly and the service is excellent. If you don't care about the possible weight gain, try the chocolate cake, it's to die for!

So friendly, welcoming and accommodating. The food and the drinks superb, I couldn't of been happier. I was visiting Rugby and was with a large group of friends and each of us were equally impressed. You will find a breakfast fit for kings here, a menu that caters for all; the milk shakes pure heaven and the crepes divine. I would eat here every day if I could. I just wish there was a Cafe Vita where I live. Independent gems like this are so rare in a world of cardboard chain restaurants; filled to the brim with pasta and pizza dough. Well done Cafe Vita, someone has got it right for once! Bless you.

Have visited caffe vita on many occasions and every time they are friendly courteous and helpful. Table service by the most wonderful waitress. The coffee is fantastic and after a couple of visits she remembers how you like it. The cake is to die for and the main food is beautiful, value for money and loads of it.I can't recommend Caffe Vita highly enough. You have to try it.

If they can't get the basics right - we went roughly 10am on a Friday, and from our order, they ran out of cream, the toast was soggy pre-buttered poor quality low grade bread, and the scrambled eggs were pale tasteless mush. The prices were not that cheap for the offerings. Seated service but then you have to hunt the till to pay the bill at the end. Worth a try but not again. Shame. The decor was nice though !

Ive literally just taken the last sip of the tastiest hot chocolate ever created. Made with two types of chocolate 1 being nutella it's a warm cup of chocolaty heaven. Fantastically friendly staff and fabulous atmosphere. I will be back next week and raving it about it to all my friends and my customers at work. I didn't actually eat anything but gave a 5 for the food cause it looks and sounds amazing.

I was looking for a nice cafe in the city centre and saw Cafe Vita. It opened recently and I thought I'd give it a try.I was looking for something light so I ordered Croque Monsieur and went for a crepe afterwards.Service is fast and so is waiting time. Both of the waitresses were very helpful and welcomed guests as they walked in the door.Food! Croque Monsieur consists of 2 nice slices of toast with quite a lot of cheese on it,pieces of ham and a juicy tomato, salad garnish. Tastes really good and is sufficient for a light lunch or late breakfast. Then I got greedy and ordered a crepe with ice cream. They didn't have a jam option on the menu but I asked and they added it anyway.Overall, really nice place for breakfast or lunch break, solo or with friends. Will visit again. Thank You :-)

As ever, the service was fantastic, the food yet again was good and the service we reviewed from entering the building to our goodbyes on the way out, I would also like to praise the attention of Alison who as ever gives 100% and rearly makes you feel at home, will be back again soon.
