With all the respects to the rest of staff, but the Lady on the photo, has outstanding customer service, just seat for a while for a latte, she never stops,up and down, filing shelves,, should be considered as a potential member of the managers. I asked another staff member, which I believe could be a manager, with respect but I asked about the fireplace, the answer was I don't know... On the phone and walk around.. Great team and service.

The staff is friendly and it has a British-British atmosphere.

I had an awful morning, but the guy in the light shirt turned my day around completely. His service was outstanding, and his warm smile was the cherry on top. Give this man a raise or better yet, make him the CEO. I’d vote for him! From now on, this café will be my favorite spot. Have a great day!

Whenever I'm in London, I visit this place, the only good coffee in London, and also hot food, even tasty soups for a "normal price"

Was there to grab a cold drink and wanted to use the restroom as well. I was at the same place 4 months back and the toilet was broken. Still, they say the toilet is yet to be fixed.

I’ve been to this store thrice and was mistreated for the third time today. It’s always the racist black guy at the tills. He asked me to move out of the line as the person behind me was his friend. The nice lady served me after that and I ordered a green tea and it was ready before the coffee his friend ordered and as soon as I picked up my tea he screamed “why do you have the green tea”???? It’s because I ordered it stupid why else. Definitely never coming back here. The lady making the drinks was super nice though.

The service was prompt and the atmosphere was pristine. While the soya milk cappuccino didn't quite meet my expectations, the cheese toasty was satisfactory, though room for improvement remains. Overall, a decent experience.

The waiter was throwing croissants that he had for sale in front of us. He left some and we didn't dare ask for anything

I have been daily and regular costumer in this branch since 2012, all staffs great and smiling EXCEPT BLACK NONSENSE GUY AT THE TILL. He doesnt know to say even please and thank you, also he needs to change his tshirt at least once in three days. Pret maybe find another job for him on basement floor. note: my two of colleague stopped to go this branch just because of that guy.

This is my local Pret and simply love it! Paula makes the difference, always welcoming with the biggest smile and nothing is a trouble, always so helpful and professional, you are lucky to have her in your team! Thanks Pret (been a loyal customer for 18 years now!!)

Walked up at 645. Told they were not open until 7. Holiday hours still in effect on 3rd. At 7 told they don’t know when they will open- try going elsewhere.

I came in just to have a coffee and a croissant, in early morning at 08.00am, as following a long waiting time at A&E at St Marys Hospital. The staff saw me I was walking in crutches, and I just asked for to make small accomodation for me, to clean a very dirty and full of food table, as this was the only one available for me to sit. They didnt bother at all, saying excuse that there is queue waiting, and they cant leave for cleaning. I just took myself and clean table in.my.condition in.crutches and bo one cared. Customer service. If i knew this I woulf have bought coffee in any other place for same ammount of money.i come also from hospitality background and this is not what customers.expect to receive, especially when shop is just a stone away from a hospital.no any empathy. Otherwise food &coffees are good.

Beatrice & Hanifa served me brilliantly well. Fantastic people. I asked for a milk shake but it wasnt available at that time. So,they suggested me a different drink. They made a customised drink for me as per what I like. This made my evening after a long day at work.And that's what I call true customer service!!

The staff are excellent. Very good staff! However every day there’s a problem! Recently their coffee machine been working on and off! This week 2 days no hot drinks because of their coffee machine is not working! For the person who’s responsible for this branch’s franchise, you’re doing a really bad job running this branch! Every week you have something not working! It is your responsibility to make sure it runs as good as the other branches.

This branch is always hit and miss.  Not my usual.  I only stop by if I am in the area.  Quite small but super busy.  Limited seats.  Located off Edgware Road.  Reasonable range of products.  Staff are pleasant but not friendly.  Black americano was good but I could have got it a lot quicker if staff were not chatting!

The best falafel in london, I would recommend ginger shot very tasty and effective for cold and flue

Pret is always excellent, though the staff cutting is going to send it down hill.

No ice during the entire summer. I asked the manager in summer period and he said “we had no ice in stock for last 3 weeks” Anyway, now it’s autumn and still no ice.

Very disappointed, just spent £6 for a coffee and breakfast egg & literally one slice of bacon baguette. Prices are going up and filling in the sandwiches are going down.

Pre covid I used to come here all the time The coffee/espresso shots were perfectly balanced. I guess you’ve fired all the good barristers because now the coffee drinks taste like a 5 year old made it. 18 grams in, 200 grams out in 5 seconds? Coffee drinks (lattes, flat whites etc) taste either really sour or acidic. It’s a lost cause. So don’t order those. The food and chai lattes are great though!

PRETty bad service but food is equisite, as always. I used to like coming to this shop but since July I observed staff not paying attention, talking amongst themselves, a disorganised ,chaotic service leading to extreme queing fir the hot drinks.

Good morning everyone. I was very surprised to hear heavy loud rap music, I like hip hop but not this aversive type. Definitely didn’t enjoy my breakfast. These young people need to be aware that this is a business that they are running. I’m fact the should be some rules in place about music at least. It’s very aggressive and loud honestly I feel like I want to shoot myself.

I noticed the staff treat you depending on your appearance. In the morning you come in clean clothes, everyone is smiling nicely. Lunch time, dressed in dirty clothes, I have the impression that they are doing me a favor

I went there this morning because I had a business meeting to attend and just wanted to have drink before going. I ordered a Matcha iced latte with soya milk no big deal BUT the person who prepared it didn't mixed well the matcha I ended up drinking lumps of green tea powder AND the other person who handed over my drink sticked the soya label where I'am supposed to insert the straw.... Please just check that when your handing over a drink it is made by the book. Thanks

Been going here for years but wow today's customer service(21st may 4.40pm) was extremely poor. It has been getitng worst recently. I was going to tell my wife lets go to starbucks few minutes away. We asked a simple question. Are there two queues? It would have been nice if the response was with a smile and with manners. The guy who served us did not see his name but saw his tattoos not bothered. Times are tough at the moment and the competition is hot. Hope next time I visit will get a decent service.

Relaxing atmosphere and tables inside

Perpetually out of ice, plus terrible service. Let me illustrate: I walk in and order an ice latte and pay. After 15 minutes of patiently waiting, still no ice latte, so I ask the barista who had taken my order about it. Barista: Oh we’re out of ice. Me: well then why have I been waiting here for 15 minutes? Barista: I have no idea. Umm maybe because I ordered it and paid for it….should have just walked out and gone to Starbucks instead, they tend to have ice on a regular basis as most coffee shops who claim to serve iced drinks do and should.

Pret coffee is consistently great but this Pret wasn’t serving any cold drinks which was disappointing. Unsure if this was because they were too lazy to make them or if this was because the ice machine was not working.

It is always reliable. You know it will taste fairly nice.

Always a waiting a while for a coffee, and disappointed to find that this particular shop no longer sells smoothies or shakes, just like many Prets seem to be heading. Could it be because of the subscription? 😕

I've lived down the street for nearly a year and I think it's been like 6 months since they stopped servicing iced drinks. No frappes, iced lattes, zilch. Today I tried my luck again and nothing has changed. A person behind me also came in asking for an iced drink. I overheard him being offered other non-iced options before he politely said that he might have to pass for now and left. Hopefully some iced drinks as spring/summer arrives? 😭

Good coffee shop. They have quality coffee and good choices of food. Food are tasty too. And good service. Great place for coffee lovers.

I’d like to give a special thanks to the members of pret , they displayed unimaginable team work. The efficiency was unmatchable. I’d like to give a special thanks to three members especially, I can confidently say Athena , Michelle and Natty are carrying the shop and can resolve any issue in a very friendly and efficient manner. Athena is very kind and understanding and is the manager you are grateful for and without her the operation of running the store will not be as possible. I’d also love to give a thanks to Michelle who would take on any tasks when Athena wasn’t around and the way she’s able to handle any situation was incredible .Finally a special thanks to Naty who trained me she’s tough at the start but I realised it’s for my own good and she’s such a perfectionist and I could see why the store was successful was because she doesn’t like failure she only aims for perfect and nothing less than that, she knew how to diffuse any situation if I was faced by a difficult customer she knows how to keep her cool and successfully diffuse the situation on hand. I would love to thank those three especially , they really knew how to run a very busy store such as pret located in Paddington. Overall the quality , time efficiency , friendly atmosphere, tidiness Is top tier. And I would give the store a 110% Once again I have to give credit to Athena being the face of Pret and the leader of this whole operation.

I love Pret a Manger and this is that place where I tried this brand for the first time and since then I am a fan of Pret.

Always a lovely start to my morning all because of the amazing team at Pret in Paddington near Edgware station! The whole teams always puts a smile on my face and I absolutely love coming in! The woman with the beautiful curly hair is an absolute diamond!

This place can be a busy one.but their customer service is commendable. Food is really tasty and affordable. This place very spacious even more than 20 people can sit at once without feeling like they have been crowded.

Very friendly staff, who serve customers very quickly. If you plan to get a seat, maybe rethink your plans. The people seem to sit on the seat all day and it is a social spot, they will not move within an hour etc. And the seats outside of the Pret, you’re definitely not going to get one of those. If you are looking for a seat, sit in Merchant Square, the views are much kinder on the eyes than the heavy traffic around the area!

unfortunately there are some friendly staff members but this place has gone very downhill in the last two months. There is never any ice or cold drinks, they have no system for taking orders so you could wait 15 minutes whilst customers after you get served first and then they have to ask you again what drink you ordered because they have forgotten your order, they are 'training' new staff almost everyday now which is not a good sign and their closing times are constantly changing and right now it is 3pm which is ridiculous!

Edit : from 5* to 1* on 10 Sep. Close way earlier than stated. Even on a cold rainy day still no iced /drink or frappes in the morning. This month September service is terrible compared to March - July. New staff dont know what they’re doing and most of the familiar ones are left. Complete waste of time queuing here when I could had get iced drink at another branch. Would recommend unsubscribe if this is your only local Pret. Also this store can be closed and relocate resource to others

13:25 29/08/21 Walked into the store, the server was not friendly at all, I scanned the QR code to make things easier for him and he stops me saying you can’t scan, order and go extremely rudely to me. I felt like he was racist since I’m a hijab- wearing woman. He was a Male, American accent, dark-skinned barista.

Was here on my trip in London has to say that I miss coffee from this place. Cant wait to go back and try it again. Excellent place

Edit: I change from 5 to 2 stars. My last visit was terrible (18/08/21 at 18:32). They are rude to most customers, they don't serve any cold drinks and they said they closed in ten minutes, although Google says they do close at 19:30. Original comment: It's a nice Pret, but sometimes they don't have products. Perhaps the manager has to adjust the store's product requirements. In any case, I give 5 stars because their service is good and they are nice.
