The best restaurants serving Mediterranean food in South East

Best Iskender I’ve eaten in the UK, very big portion and absolutely delicious! I ordered the same thing 2 days in a row, it’s that good. The staff is very friendly. Very chill atmosphere with cool decor.

We have been here twice before and couldn’t fault it hence returning again. Unfortunately this time was very disappointing, the service staff were lovely as always however none of the steaks or lamb available which limited the small menu. We had flamed chorizo as a starter which was ok then chicken and chorizo paella which consisted of a couple of chunks of chorizo and 5 of the tiniest chicken drumsticks I’ve ever seen, the rice was clumped together very stodgy and tasteless it was very disappointing. Sticky toffee pudding and ice cream was delicious but I doubt made on site. Later in the evening there was a party in the other side of the restaurant the music was very loud and the staff locked the front door where we were seated and disappeared into the party area. They occasionally popped in but it’s not the same as having them there all the time, we would have ordered Baileys etc but decided to go somewhere else in the the end rather than wait for staff to turn up. The door to the party kept opening with party goers coming in through the restaurant to use the toilet and every time the door opened the music pounded even louder into the restaurant making it difficult to hear each other speaking and was very annoying. We won’t be returning again, all I can say to the restaurant owners is; don’t neglect the business that has done you so well in the past for a Saturday night party. If you keep doing that your quality of food and service will drop further and you will lose regular customers which are your bread and butter. Also the toilets are disgusting dirty floors and walls, toilet paper all over the floor and generally dirty they’re clearly not regularly checked, such a shame to see such a lovely restaurant go down hill so quickly.

Unassuming on the outside, wonderful on the inside. This tiny place is a goldmine of scrumptious home cooked food & top quality groceries! Family owned & run by passionate humans, their Middle Eastern roots bring amazing flavours to all their home cooked dishes, eat in or take away. Also a great selection of organic & natural wines, and cake, omg the cake!!! Best deli cafe in Brighton, hands down.

Super yummy food, lovely panini and great sweet treats! The man behind the counter was so welcoming as well, would definitely come again!

This has to be the best Turkish restaurant that my Wife and I have ever visited The menu is extensive and the prices are sensible .. We both can vouch for the Lamb Shish Kebab which just melted in the mouth .. Dishes are well presented and with good servings The Drinks menu is more than adequate including Turkish Efes beer both on draft and in bottles The staff are genuinely helpful The bill came with a 10% Service charge, so no real need to tip, unless youre feeling over generous ! The Toilets are located in the basement, However, there is a disabled facility toilet which also has baby changing facilities on the same level as the restaurant floor.. The restaurant also has OFF street parking which you enter at the side of the property adjacent to the Takeaway part of the restaurant

Another amazing dinner at Roka. As always, up to its usual high standard. Highly recommended for Turkish/Mediterranean cuisine, friendly staff and great service.

Very bad services don’t recommended at all we waited for cup of water for 1 hour and the server probably forgot us

Once again another fabulous meal in The Yorkshire Rose, in my opinion the best restaurant in Bracknell and certainly our favourite. The service as always was excellent and the food was very well prepared and the taste as ever was fantastic, see you again soon.

Me and my family had a lovely experience at Smoque Warlingham. The service was quick and friendly. The Cypriot waiter went above and beyond for us and we really enjoyed our meal. Would highly recommend!

This restaurant serves pretty good food but the customer service is appalling. After a mix up with our food the waitress was beyond rude. Will not be darkening their door again and will be advising friends to steer clear also. There are plenty of other places to eat in the area
