Absolutely beautiful food. The starter platter and flat bread was gorgeous. A pity it was empty. Well worth a visit.

We had an excellent afternoon tea with attentive and friendly waiting staff. There was an issue and it was dealt with over and above what was required. Things do go wrong in the best run establishnents and it is how it ist dealt with that matters. The did everything and more than was needed. I thoroughly recommend them.

My wife and I dined at Christmas eve. Polite staff, good tasty food. Not to keen on the gimmicky going up to the counter to pick the food but can see how some people may. Food was served in good time and was hot, tasty and portion sizes perfect. Drinks were expensive however.

Visited with mate and ordered the chicken and lamb kebab with rice and paid £22/£23. The meat was poor quality and very bland. The place is a tourist trap and clearly looking to rip off unsuspecting tourists. Very disappointed. Not sure why they had central heating on either in what was the hottest day of the year! Probably so you’d leave quicker so they can get the next sucker in….

Went in with some friends on our last night, Joanna served us and was so friendly and funny. Drinks were amazing, wish we had time to go in more, absolute gem of a place

Llegué para nuestra reserva y esperó 1 hora y 15 minutos para nuestra comida. No fue nada especial. Muy decepcionado de ser honesto. Le pedimos a nuestro servidor actualizaciones y él dijo que lo averiguaría y nunca nos respondió. La factura llegó y no se tomaron una copa de la que deberían y el cargo por servicio. Buen trabajo que comprobé ya que el servidor acaba de comenzar a poner el pago a través, esperando que yo solo pague. Al final nos dijeron que tenían un problema técnico en la cocina, un error de microondas. Así que parece que también se meten mucho en el microondas. No para nosotros.

Came for dinner and went for the standard tapas. It’s was I think a 9 courser !! Food was really good and the service was excellent in terms of speed and the way they describe exactly what was on each plate. The only tiny thing that could have been better was the wine list. It was a bit limited

Another fantastic visit to a great place, normally go for breakfast, but we had lunch today, great food, friendly service and Alfie made me the best flat white I have ever had in Weymouth

Tuvimos un gran almuerzo aquí en un sábado soleado. El comedor de arriba está muy bien hecho, con mucha luz natural inundando. Era un ambiente encantador para comer. Compartimos bastantes platos del menú y todo lo que probamos fue consistentemente de buena calidad y bien ejecutado. Es difícil elegir un punto culminante específico, pero disfrutamos particularmente del entrante de chorizo y el arroz casero. El personal era atento y eficiente. El valor es excelente por la calidad de la comida servida. Lo recomendaría encarecidamente y volvería.

We have just moved into Marple Bridge and this was our first visit to our local cafe. The food was good, the staff weren't. I would like to make it clear that it was not a busy time and good service costs nothing. First, a young man came to us after we'd been waiting at the door for some time and said he'd clear a table. Only he didn't come back. A while later, another guy came and said he needed to clear a table. Eventually, we were seated. When the food arrived quite a while later, there was no cutlery for me. I gestured to the young waiter who, without an ounce of apology, gestures back that he was now serving someone else and would be with me as and when. I encouraged my son not to wait and to eat his food while it was hot. I think it would be hard to find such blaise waiting staff. This is a shame as the food itself was good.

food is appalling , no selection and cheap poor quality food.No option and basically same meals for dinner and lunch this past week we have had to starve as poor options !For breakfast we have had to have dry cake!

We were gifted an afternoon tea by our family. Very pleasantly surprised. Met by a lovely Maisie who took care of us during our visit. She was kind and attentive at the same time professional. The afternoon tea? A feast for the eyes. Everything on the platter, slight underestimation, board, was so fresh, tasty and arranged to make it a positive delught. A big thankyou to chef, Maisie and staff for such a wonderful treat! ❤️

Called in with friends for an early dinner. It’s a while since we’ve been here but the meat feast was as good as ever. Some with smaller appetites had the mixed meze as a main and were delighted with their choice
