Marmaris Kebab House in Wellingborough

Food arrived inedible and of poor quality, chicken was dry and hard and chips well over cooked. Rang the restaurant for them to tell me there’s nothing wrong with it but he’ll send out the salad. The food went in the bin. Total waste of money.

Mamaris used to be very good but just had one of the worst kebabs ever. The order was well late, the kebab was luke warm at best, it looked like and tasted like they were the leftovers from the previous night, and they sent a smaller size coke than advertised. The only thing they didn't muck up was the salad. Won't be using again.

5 pizza's were ordered and got delivered in good time but unfortunately 1 of the pizzas which had ham and sweetcorn as toppings, it was inedible due to the ham, im not sure if the ham was out of date or something but it tasted disgusting, had to bin.

This is our last order from Marmaris. We have repeatedly asked for no sauce no salad as our son is autistic and will not eat food if the takeaway does the order wrong. So many orders recently have been incorrect. They charge for a large chips then deliver a small and many ignored add notes to the order. We also asked many times for the no sauce no salad option to be put back on.

Food was delayed and delivered over an hour and a half after the order was placed. Food was cold when it arrived. Boxes and paper wrapping were soaking wet and floppy. Disappointed.

ordered double pepperoni x 1 then a double cheese margarita x 1 but sent 2 x pepperoni Due to medical diagnosis eating pepperoni pizza isn't possible so was a bit disappointed

I don’t have any idea how people giving 5 start rating. We ordered yesterday by looking at rating and my husband is sick by end of the day and was vomiting continuously. I wouldn’t recommend this place.

it's a shame there is no option to have no sauce when completing an order. it was literally over every bit of doner so didn't eat it. sorry but won't order again. it was generous portion size though. whilst order was within your time scale, waiting 50 mins is too long when others can do quicker

Brilliant food and the staff are friendly. The menu is well priced and the portions are very filling. 100% recommend, have eaten here many times and will continue to do so

WOW! Incredible food! The taste and the flavour is immaculate, I think of myself as a harsh critic but I must say I’ve never been so impressed. The chicken doner was fresh Full of flavour, the kofte was moist and soft. If you are eating in Wellingborough marmaris is the place to eat

Very disappointed not sure if there has been a change of ownership but our last order was simply disgusting .The meat quality is po or r the salad was minuscule the sauce vile. Our order took 40 minutes to be delivers was stone cold and looked like the driver had been sitting on it, all the boxes were crushed. So disappointing after all these years. Have used this place for 17 years and have always enjoyed their food. Delivery service is always quick and efficient and prices are reasonable. Update, they have expanded their menu to include a variety of new wraps. I has the Turkish Nan Kofte wrap and my wife had the Turkish Nan Lamb Diner Wrap and they were amazing.

Food was great. Good quality Doner and chips were nice. Salad was fresh. Chips were too hot to eat at first which makes it a 5 star delivery!

I don't know what happened but the chips turned out amazing! Light and crunchy and full of flavour!

Pizzas were really good except for the fact we asked No onions on the delivery notes and the pizza came with them all over. So I'd avoid if you have any dietary concerns.

We went tonight 09/03/2024 to town to get some Turkish cuisine and our choice was Marmaris. Not a single regret for chosen place. The guys was very friendly, one of them gave our son a lolly pop, food was fresh and hot. We took mix option 2 and all meats was very delicious, salad, bread and chips was also fantastic. Thank you for good service and delicious food, we definitely will come back in the future 😊

Chicken kebab was disgusting. Tasteless cold and dripping in grease. looked like something a dog would bring up. contacted just eat who typically done nothing. wouldn't eat from here if it was free

ordered a wrap and a shish kebab, delivered at requested time. hot delicious packed separately so fresh on arrival.

We went there tonight. We ordered a half pound cheese burger and a chicken wrap. The burger came with bacon after having declined this option. The chicken wrap was cold and needed reheating. They had placed the bag of food on the service top and simply left it there. No-one told us it was our food. To be honest I was eagerly awaiting my first cheese burger in months but it was a bit tasteless. We won't be going back.

Thought I would give another go as had issues before with delivery. Again it happened, over 2 hours from order to delivery. such a shame as the food is good.

Had high expectations as a Turk but the food not very nice at all. And very expensive. Only one drink arrived and paid for two! Won’t be ordering again unfortunately!

Unfortunately missing the chips and salad that went with the halloumi wrap (as advertised on the menu). You can't give that feedback as only the wrap itself is an option to select that wasn't delivered

We have been using this kebab house since we moved from London 24 years ago and have never had a bad meal from there. Food is always good quality, the staff are always really friendly, I would highly recommend this place.

haven't received my order as yet so where is it its 10 minutes late so far

Despite the delivery being great, we had ordered cheesy chips that tasted off. The cheese tasted horrible, and potentially out of date. This was all we ordered so unfortunately couldn’t even have our meal. Very disappointed!

I've ordered from Marmaris for the first time and I am happy with the service. We waiting around 30 minutes and the food was very good and big. I would maybe add more sauce but overall it was great. Thank you

The food from here is delicious, it is clean and very colourful, we had 2 kebabs with salad and I love the way that the fresh salad came in a separate box, it’s a great idea and was really fresh. Chicken donner was old rock solid & had a funky taste not edible in the bin unfortunately but the drink was nice

Have used this place for 20 years and it has always been amazing. They have just expanded their menu.Last night I had the Turkish nan kofte wrap and my wife had the Turkish nan Lamb Doner wrap and they were both amazing.

It was the worst food ever. Maybe it was old meat, i dont know. It was dry, so so dry, like wormed in microwave. Also taste NOT FRESH! Salad had very sour taste.

Marmaris USED to do the best kebabs in town. The meat was bad quality, bland, and under cooked. The chips were soggy, and the burger sauce had the same consistency as vinegar. POOR FOOD, Really disappointing, DO NOT recommend!

Not the best kebab I’ve had from there

Last had a kebab from Marmaris in Dec 22 and decided that it was time to allow ourselves another. Sadly this was not a good experience. Between December and now, the old Elephant Leg of doner meat recipe (or supplier) has changed and not for the better. The texture was grainy and the flavour quite different .. neither my wife or myself enjoyed it at all and more than half went in the bin. Sorry Marmaris .. you were my favourite, but you’ve knocked yourself off my top Wellingborough kebab spot.

The items had the option to select which salad type should be excluded, we chose onion and in the comments also mentioned we didn't want any onion in the entire order. The 2 wraps came without any salad even though this was in the description. We also got a separate plastic container full with onions, super weird. I wish they would update the descriptions so their chef actually understands what to cook, as the summary made it seem we ordered the wrap with solely onions. I now paid £5.50 for a simple wrap with ONLY some hummus.

Ordered at 18.20, Recieved message at 19.20 saying it would be late and sorry, I called at 7.36 asking how much longer, they said it was on its way, then my husband called at 20.00 and it arrived at 20.05, food not very warm at all either

I am often ordering from them and sometimes they have made errors. Today i ordered a kebab with mayo and chilie sauce but it had garlic sauce on it maybe because i also ordered chicken shish which we wanted garlic sauce (so may have miss heard). I sat to eat and noticed the sauce was wrong i tried to take some off, but it had over flavoured the kebab and naan. I called them up and they swapped it straight away. In the past if ever something is wrong they have always come and deliver the correct one. People can mistakes but they correct it, are friendly and the food is nice.

Chips were soggy and greasy and the Turkish bread was hard. The meat on the other hand was really nice and the food was on time.

If it wernt so late I would of brought back.. but reheated salty rubbery chips ain't the way forward .. and the chicken donor was drier than my nan .. on plus side the dogs did eat it

Ordered. Scran was not sufficient. Conversed with his coworkers over us in a rude manner. Floppy chips, ketchup was like jelly, no curry sauce :(

Not happy with the lamb it's some sort of cheap version. You normally get a beautiful lamb bit this time was so rubbery and didn't taste nice at all also missed my chips from my lamb donner meal

Poor service. Food turned up wrong. Cold. Too busy talking to each other to take order correctly. Used to be good but very bad. Do not use them.

Delivery was late, we rang and they said it was still with them even though the app said "enjoy your food" as if it was delivered. Had to ring again 15 mins later to find out where it was, and they said it was anoth 15mins away :( Food was yummy though!

EZ now, the delivery was surprisingly rapid and the food was most excellent for this homie whist chilling in da ghetto on a Sunday afternoon. The cheese burger really is the Cow’s udders or the Bulldog’s bolox with a stonking bonk-on to add. The scampi is also good quality and incredibly Moreish too. Compliments to the chef and the team. I’m outta here, peace!
