I recently have had a meal here, I absolutely loved it, the atmosphere and the service was amazing.

I went with my family 3 days ago. Everything was lovely, we were greeted by the owner at the door. They were super friendly especially with my 2 year old niece when she was getting a little loud, they entertained her. I had chicken wings and I thoroughly enjoyed it! Felt like I was in Türkiye again with the food and the atmosphere! They also celebrated my mum’s 45 birthday and they were brilliant with all arrangements. If you go here you will have a smashing time. Thank you so much Zara Turkish restaurant!!!

Fantastic customer service didn’t have to wait long very catering to my needs as I am allergic to fish, Food was amazing and worth its price, I would definitely recommend to other people As this is the best Turkish restaurant in Wellingborough as well as providing great food the atmosphere is amazing,I have been a customer of Zara Turkish for two years and I have also ordered from here, delivery times where perfect and it arrived at expected time as well as it being good quality. Perfect place to dine out and takeaway!

What a lovely restaurant this is. We booked for the five of us before going to the Castle Theatre. The meal was supurb as was the service. We felt valued and the atmosphere and decor added to the overall experience. We would happily recommend Zara for a great meal and experience.

Amazing food lovely staff I’m come back again

The bread and 2 sauces that were brought to the table at the start was fantastic and after that the starter and main course were average , chewy cheap cuts of lamb , lots off unnecessary oil in the sauce , some flavours were good some rather bland , hence an average rating.

It's not our first time here. Everytime coming in, we are blessed having a nice customer service, nice ambience, quiet, clean and very delicious food. I just enjoy every moment. Menu variable and the portions are really big. When about choosing a turkish restaurant, then it's only Zara.

Found this place by accident but I have to say it was the most delicious food and lovely atmosphere. We had a mixed shisha and it was tasty, well cooked and came with 2 dips that were very nice. Staff were also lovely and chatty and there was free parking. I will definitely be eating here again.

On mother's day my daughter ordered food from here for me. The order took from order being placed to delivery and hour & a half. Uber kept promptung us to contact restaurant due to non delivery & basically slow service, this was in evening. We rang 4:5tumes to be told was in its way. We told them I was a diabetic & needed to eat, again we waited they stopped answering phone in the end. I couldn't wait I had to eat, I had some crumpets instead. When order finally arrived delivery guy who works for restaurant said he had several orders and was given orders 45mibs prior to delivery. The restaurant had told us order had left over an hour ago! It ruined my evening meal as it was cold when arrived. Trouble is if we refused it Uber only give you a quarter of bill refund...which is a joke! So I will never order from here again, we were lied to, and delivery should never take that long with hold food. And they were aware I was diabetic and still we waited another 15 mins when lady on phone said it would be less than 5 mins. Totally disgusting service, my daughter spent nearly £30 for my cold dinner, that is now in fridge for tomorrow!!! Not happy. **Thank you for apology. It was the service that was bad, not the food. I did eat it the following day and it was delicious. I accept that you were busy. I will in future make sure at point of order make the restaurant aware I am diabetic, so I can't do long waits, that was a lesson learned. But I did make you aware on the first phone call re diabetes. You don't need to refund, but I would accept a credit so I could have another meal at some point as it was a lovely meal. Thank you.

I have to say that the lamb here was the most tender piece of meat I have eaten in my life. Wow. The food was very nice, well presented. The resturant was clean and staff were welcoming and attentive. Baklava and Turkish tea to finish was a treat indeed. Food was very fresh and you can tell this resturant takes pride in food flavour. Portions were generous and both my partner and I left feeling very full indeed. Prices are reasonable, both my partner and I had 3 courses and drinks and bill was about £70. A lovely evening, thanks guys.

We have had a food delivery from Zara a few times now and every time the food has been outstanding. The freshness, the flavours! Wonderful! We have tried different kebabs, turkish sausage, calamari, hummus, flat breads, rice, salads.. all delicious! This is now mine and my husbands favourite takeout/delivery place. We want to come and have a meal at the actual restaurant at some point. So I can't really comment on the atmosphere. But we are looking forward to when we can.

Zara Restaurant in Wellingborough is an exemplary traditional Turkish eatery. Today's lunch there was an absolute delight! The homemade lentil soup, paired with fresh bread and an assortment of salads (including the incredible onion salad), set the perfect tone. The mix shish kebab, featuring chicken and lamb, was an absolute standout—especially the tender and flavorful lamb shish. For anyone craving a fantastic BBQ (mangal) experience, I highly recommend Zara. Beyond the delicious food, the staff's friendliness added an extra layer of warmth to the dining experience. It's definitely a must-visit spot!

We came on Friday 20th October 2023 in the evening from the minute we arrived the service was excellent. We all had 3 courses the food was really good and the staff very friendly we will be back.

Absolutely 5 stars My concrete favourite Turkish restaurant in Northamptonshire and I've been to a few. Quality meat and fish, the best rice, presentation of the food is brilliant and the staff are very accommodating and lovely. Truly recommend their cocktails too. Dined with 9 other ladies last night and we could not fault it, the sea bass, lamb, chicken, vegetarian dish, starters and drinks all perfect and most importantly fair prices. Well done to you all, in the kitchen to front of house.

Everything was amazing even down to the lovely delivery driver! Food was absolutely delicious we included a couple of sides with our main dishes and were not disappointed! Well worth the money will be ordering again!!!!

I had to try this new food outlet as we hadn't had anything from here since it changed businesses from Akash. It's a definite yes from me and my Missus. The food was 1st class and the delivery time was under the estimated time, which was a bonus cos we were proper Hank Marvin. All in all, a very nice, tasty and we'll worth a 2nd visit. We're going in for a sit down meal next time though.

This is the second time we've been here and it just seems to get better and better. I found out why it is, it is because it's under new management and his mother does some of the cooking and it's truly authentic Turkish cuisine. Mum's know best. We had Turkish Chicken casserole, Turkish lamb with rice. And then we shared the ice cream and Turkish coffee.

We came for dinner and couldn't fault anything. I had the salmon which was not only cooked perfectly but also a really great portion size. My date had the steak which he said was amazing. Service was lovely, food was lovely, we had the perfect...

Let’s start with good bit, friendly staff, nice atmosphere and decent menu. food is bland, Lamb sheesh is chewy and even Adana is not flavoursome. Loved the salad but very important to mention they used simple boiled basmati rice rather than usual Turkish style stuff. They have good reviews but for me it did not live up to the expectations. Certainly cheaper than options available in Northampton.

Great service, sumptuous food. We ordered a sharing platter (£50) that we couldn’t finish but the staff placed it in a foil tray and we ate the rest the following day. It still tasted wonderful so we will definitely be back.

Was in the Midlands working and looked for a Turkish Restaurant. Travelled for over 30mins to get to Zara. It was so worth it. Great tasting food...

Highly recommend the Adana Kebab Yogurt. Not only do you get great value for your money, but the portion sizes are huge and will leave you feeling satisfied. The food is on par with the delicious, authentic dishes you would enjoy in a high-end restaurant in Turkey. I can't recommend it enough!

Went there to meet friends and have meal as we are Turkish and grown up with this cuisine I was gob smacked taste of food was excellent juicy tender melt in your mouth salad very fresh and crunchy bread was freshly baked on site mezes well we had to order second round it was finger licking good service was excellent had a chance to meet the owner Dogancan who were soo kind and humble guy came 3 times to ask if we were happy and needed anything else couldn't fault it .two 👍👍 thumbs up!!!
