In for works christmas do and have to say everything was perfect. The food was great the staff were very attentive. The supervisor Jakie was great very helpful and very professional. They all worked extremely hard. Highly recommend this place. I will be back!

I booked Arta for my 30th party - they were very lovely to deal with and on the night were very helpful and accommodating, including being quick to respond when one of my guests had a fall outside. Beautiful inside and accommodating of dietary requirements.

Took my friend for some dinner to celebrate her engagement, and it was great! The food was lovely and arrived quickly, but what made our experience that bit better was the service from Maisie. She was absolutely fantastic and nothing was too much bother for her. She is a credit to Arta 🌟

I was at Arta with my friend for the New Year’s event, which we paid £40 each for. I honestly feel like we were ripped off, as the event was oversold and was so packed we couldn’t see anything (like the fire dancers). We also couldn’t go downstairs as there was a queue that wasn’t really moving. I had such a bad time getting to the bar that I gave up a few times. If the event hadn’t been oversold this would have been a better review.

We had dinner in Arta since we were downstairs at the Bandeoke earlier. Staff young and could have been more attentive, waitress was good however bars staff lacking personality. Starters came, both ladies had the Bruschetta which they said was tasty we both had the chicken skewers which were also tasty. Mains we both opted for the Chicken dish, my wife had the chop which she had to ask for a steak knife in order to be able to cut it up! My sister in-law opted for the Steak which she said was lukewarm. desserts we opted for the Cheesecake which was ok. Overall fairly average considering the price.

Christmas party night, approx 50 of us in the Red Room, £50 per head, buffet and three drinks tokens, I can honestly say the buffet was very disappointing, very obviously straight out of a Farmfoods Freezer bag, not very much variety, had to have dinner when I got home. Toilets were disgusting. This is the second Christmas night I have had here, not through choice, reading the reviews you would think you would try to improve! Daylight robbery is an understatement!

We went on a clearly busy night and it must have been a bit understaffed. Our server Maisie did an incredably job given how busy she was and we would be giving a much lower rating if it wasn't for her.

My friend and I had a fantastic night in the Canvas bar. Bar staff were proper fast and attentive, especially Stacey. I had a great conversation the day before with sales team who talked me through my booking to a T. Music was great, the DJ was good at gauging the vibe of the room and it was brilliant!

I would love zero stars for our experience on 7/12/24. £50+service charge for a disgrace of dinner..1 piece of turkey, 2 Brussels,1 carrot and 4 frozen potatoes..Luke warm chucked at us by harassed waiting staff, so many people jammed in couldn’t even talk for the noise and the music being played. 20 minutes for drinks order..sitting with dirty plates for ages between courses..cheap tasteless cheese board…Prosecco £35 not as described on menu, awful.left most of it..staff completely overwhelmed shouting Above noise what you had ordered..asked to speak to manage..ignored…We booked because of good experience in past..you should be ashamed of the standards on Saturday. Just to cap it all..my emails..I have sent 3 and x messages have all been ignored..shocking..complete waste of money and time.

Had the pleasure of being in this lovely venue just over a month ago for some tapas and a few drinks, I was particularly impressed with the waitresses Maisie and Christie who took care of our food in the restaurant. After dinner we decided to take a trip down stairs to the lovely main bar where two bartenders in particular Fred and Nainika were excellent. Very clued up on their drinks and always served their drinks with a smile and a friendly personal touch, I can’t wait to get back!

Amazing Xmas meal, food was incredible as always and Maisie our waitress just made the experience all the better. 10/10

First time in here for a works leaving do. Just a shame we got caught up in the Xmas party themes going on as I think we got treated the same. For £50 we prepaid for the three courser it was a bit disappointing, not enough bread/oatcake with the pate, the feather blade of beef wasn't "featherblady" at all and the cheesecake was a bit more of a mousse! Couldn't get any other beer upstairs other than the two bottles on offer (corona or bud) pants. Toilets were pretty disgusting and my wife and her friends complained on the evening about the toilets. Wouldn't rush back and certainly wouldn't choose to socialise or dine here.

Was recently at a Christmas party at Arta! Food was beautiful and the staff were so incredibly helpful. Bartenders were very knowledgeable of their whisky’s, which my partner loved! Would definitely recommend!! Will be back in the new year to try their regular tapas menu! 10/10

Went to a drag show here, food was great, staff were super helpful and the venue itself was beautiful, huge thanks to Charlie and Jackie for looking after us all night, would definitely recommend.

The venue looks pretty, but there was a lot to be desired from the £50 a head festive menu and experience. When you know what you're cooking and for how many, the idea is to plan it out. Several in my party had to return the food that arrived cold. The waiting staff seemed a bit out of their depth, and showed a disappointing level of care. When you have a group spending over £750 I'd expect someone to manage the group and make sure everything was as it should be. It was the final straw to be told they were very busy and so wouldn't make the coffee I'd been told I could have. All the drinkers were made their cocktails though. There are other lovely bars and places to eat, unless you've no choice I'd give the place a swerve

Christmas party night, staff and venue amazing however food was really poor I must say .Never expect too much on party nights with set menus but that aside the food was awful , dry tasteless and in the case of the beef main course it was so tough it was inedible, a view shared by all in our company

Went for Xmas night - very disappointed with service and food, no experienced bar staff. My table napkin caught fire we extinguished it but no staff checked we were ok. Very disappointed with service and poor value for money. Do not do Xmas at arta.

This isn't good to write. My wife and I got married here 6 years ago and decided to revisit the place to celebrate my bday. We hadn't been back due to just life getting in the way. I was pretty damn excited as the menu the food, the service and the atmosphere were amazing (which made us choose this as our venue). To be Blunt. It was very disappointing. The service was poor (staff very nice just slow). We were put in the VIP seats and then forgotten about for 15 mins till we got a drinks menu. Then another 10 to order food. Then we got the food before we even got our drinks. Menu was very limited to what it would be. Tapas meals were cheap. I'm very sorry to say this but it was pretty dire. We got patatas bravas, which were basically dry chopped tatties with very limited sauce. The macaroni bites tasted like they had been deep fried in chip shop fat the chorizo stew was 95 % chicken pea stew. Chicken skewers were alright, we prefer.our chicken drier than most though. Meatballs were fecking solid and tasteless to boot. The cheesecake was so bad we didn't even finish it (and we had only ordered 1 between the 2 of us.) We did have this taken off of our bill. Guys. I hope you read this as you have an amazing place, with amazing opportunities and you are wasting it. I think the venue needs a bit of a refresh and rethink to be honest.

Attended for a wedding recently and the venue was stunning. They could have done with more bar staff but the food and service was otherwise exceptional.

This is a belated review but we were attending a wedding in arta and 2 young girls working that evening were amazing. I believe their names were Maisie and Mikayla but I could have gotten that wrong! The professionalism from these girls was unbelievable, service all night was great and particularly helped us with a tricky situation and handled it with care and discretion. A credit to your company

We had booked a large party of 14 ladies and paid with a deposit as requested. When we arrived, we were shown away from our reserved table to be sat in a small and very drafty entrance way. We had our drinks and some small plates of food in this area. I was not best pleased with this as newly arriving customer were passing our tables. Although the waiter didn't charge for our food we were still all very disappointed as we were looking forward to meals. Very very disappointed in this company.

My family and I had late lunch / early dinner in Arta on Saturday. We had two couples deal which consists of bread & olives, 6 tapas & bottle of wine for £50. There was so much food, we couldn’t finish some! The food was delicious. Service was a little slow to start as minimal staff on & there was a birthday party & wedding on but it picked up & the staff were super friendly & lovely.

First visit to Arta last weekend and unfortunately it was disappointing. It’s so lovely inside and certainly worth a visit. They were quite short staffed and I understand that happens and maybe that’s why we had issues. One meal order was forgotten about and we had to remind them. I ordered an elderflower spritz which is located in the mocktail section of the drinks menu but it came with alcohol. Luckily I wasn’t driving but alcohol doesn’t agree with me and I spotted it straight away. The server told me the alcohol was in the elderflower? and even after pointing out it was in the mocktail section where there are 2 other non alcoholic drinks, he continued to disagree with me saying elderflower was an alcoholic drink. If that’s the case then I suggest the establishment correct their drinks menu. Unfortunately we won’t return.

Great atmosphere, delicious cocktails, and good vibe in the club!

This was our first dining visit to Arta, having visited many times previously for drinks and events. We were greeted by our server Maisie, we immediately felt welcome as she had a very friendly and pleasant manner. We had the 6 tapas and wine offer which was good value, the stand out dishes being the sea bass and tortilla. There were a couple of small issues during our visit but Maisie dealt with them in an efficient and professional way. Great service is what makes the difference when things are not quite right, due to that we would not hesitate in returning to Arta for another dining experience. Overall a fun and relaxing night, look forward to the next time.

My friends and I attended for a cocktail making class for our friends birthday. Josh and Scott attended to us very well. They taught us how to make the cocktails and made the experience very fun. Very welcoming and friendly staff. Doing arta proud

Friendly, highly professional and gret value - we hosted a get together in the Red Room and had a super time thanks to the excellent preparation and delivery of Andy in the events team, and Matty and colleagues in the catering/waiting team. Not easy to find cool venues of this size in Glasgow City centre who offer such a high quality, good value and personalised experience- Arta is a great place if you're looking for somewhere to get a group of friends together in town. Great atmosphere and excellent location too.

I had a lovely time in Arta <3 The food is amazing, I was happy to savor it slowly in a place elegant and artistic. Big thank you to the chef and the whole team. The delicious Spanish aromas made me feel teleported to Spain, from the middle of the Scottish rain. I definitely recommend ARTA for a delicious and sophisticated experience.

Food was amazing, great value and great choice for vegetarians too! Drinks and service were also fab, quick and kind staff really made the night one to remember.

Somehow they managed to remove flavour from the food. By far the worst place I've eaten in Glasgow.

A wonderful meal! The food here is lovely, very reasonable portions for tapas. The atmosphere of the restaurant is so grand and pretty too!

never again , booked for a 50 pounds couple deal, they charged us 72.50 because I didn't picked the house wine. I picked a 26 pound wine which was charged 29.50 pounds. when I complained they said that it was a mistake in the menu but still charged us 72.50...wow

We arranged dinner and drinks at Arta for my friend's hen party and had a wonderful time. Friendly service, lovely food (tapas menu) and a great party atmosphere in the main bar. The decor is very nice and themed, and we really enjoyed the rose petal drop as well. I'd definitely come back to Arta in the future.

I had my hen do at Arta which was absolutely amazing! I would highly recommend the 3 course meal and murder mystery night. The variety of food for the menu was delicious and the actors for the murder mystery were very entertaining! It was such a stunning location and the service was great too! I was also able to have a private room for the night and decorate it. Thank you so much for the most amazing bachelorette party! 💃🏻❤️

Just organised a hen do here and I can't praise the staff enough, from the very first contact made to the actual day everyone we dealt with was first class! We had an absolutely amazing meal (clean plates all round!) The ease for choosing the meal with a large group was fantastic, then onto cocktail making and again top notch service! Will be recommending to everyone and will definitely be back for more food soon!

Attended a wedding at Arta recently. What an atmosphere for a wedding, wow! The ceremony was in a beautiful candlelit Mediterranean setting surrounded by flowers. The food was amazing, aswell as the drinks and cocktails. Staff walked around with snacks and we were provided with Prosecco as-well. Had such a fun time and will 100% be visiting again even just for drinks or food on a weekend.

Recently had graduation ball at Arta. Andy was extremely helpful throughout organising the event, great at getting in contact with and answering any questions. The staff on the night were brilliant, especially the host/manager (can’t remember name). Everyone complemented the food, service, staff and venue and had a fantastic night as a result. Would highly recommend to anyone for events or dinner/ drinks as the venue is beautiful.

We attended Arta in May 2024 for my sister's hen party and what a great experience we had! We had secured the booking well over a year ago and Andy and Heather in the events team have been nothing but accommodating to all of our many questions and requests. The team were so flexible and really tried their best to go out of their way to fulfill all of your wishes. We booked the gold room as there were around 60 people - I would say this was the perfect amount to make sure people had seats but also room for dancing. As I said above, on the lead up to the hen party, the staff were so accommodating and responsive. On the night of the hen party the staff were exactly the same. Chelsea (I think the manager's name was) and the staff behind the bar provided outstanding service. There were a few things that didn't quite go as smoothly as planned but that's events for you! One highlighted the staff sorted any issues immediately so that we could enjoy our night. We also were able to leave all decorations which were stored in a secure location and then picked up the next day. The food was also very high quality for a buffet and the drinks were flowing at the bar! The DJ, Jesus - who was arranged through Arta, was absolutely amazing. He took on all of our requests and gauged what music we were needing to stay up on the dance floor. To the staff at Arta - thank you for making my sister's hen party a night of her dreams. We are so glad that we chose your venue to host this memorable night! Lyndsay

We organised a surprise party at Arta & were extremely pleased with everything - especially the service (both on the night and during our planning ahead of it) and the atmosphere. The team worked super hard and made our whole experience amazing. Highly recommended for a big group!!

Last night I attended a Hen Party at ARTA which I had organised. From the minute I made an enquiry into booking, they have been so helpful, answering all my questions and quick with replies. We had a cocktail class, where each person got to make their own cocktails which I thought was fab as I have attended other venues where only a couple people have got to make one, so it was lovely that everyone got to make their own drinks. The guy doing the class was really good, fun, timings were perfect and made sure that the members of our party drinking mocktails were included. We then had a 3 course meal in our own private dining room, the food was lovely! Later in the night we had our booth in their club, CANVAS. I would highly recommend ARTA for any special occasion.

It is a beautiful venue (but no natural lighting) and the food was delicious. Service, however, was very poor: slow and inefficient. The menu had a wrong price, and when I asked for the item at the price listed, I was told, yes ok, we'll do that for you. Then, looking at the bill afterwards: they simply added an extra amount to our drinks bill. They delayed with giving us the bill so long that we had to rush off (we were pre-theatre) so didn't have a chance to see that 'mistake' plus the addition of a service charge we would not have paid. What a pity. I feel they were dishonest and disrespectful. Atmosphere gets a lower mark than it might due to the boom-boom music.

We went as part of a ‘Fawlty Towers’ experience. Which was good, but that aside, the venue was ace, staff were lovely and the food was good. We really couldn’t fault it. We will defo go back for a normal meal, from their normal menu in the future.

I have been there for Beatles Candlelight concert. The area they reserved for the concert was low-ceilinged, overcrowded due to lots of chairs with no space, and it felt claustrophobic. If you would like to go to a candlelight concert in Glasgow, I would recommend Oran Mor or the Corinthian Club.

Arta is a hidden gem. Been in Glasgow for 10 years and only just discovered it. Best venue for hosting my partner’s 30th bday party. Sean & Josh proper took care of us - if the owners are reading, please compensate these guys with a hefty back pocketer!

Beautiful venue for our university ball, all of the staff were incredible- from planning the event to service on the night. The food options were delicious and all dietary requirements were catered for. Great music and great value, highly recommend Arta if you are planning an event. Thank you!

Spanish Afternoon tea wasn't really any different from normal afternoon tea, rolls included cheese and tomato, mixed veg, tuna. Although one guest was vegetarian seems we both got the same. Bit tasteless. Cakes ok. Service poor, had to ask what was included in the afternoon tea, ask and wait for drinks and ask for tea/coffee. Won't be back. Better places for an afternoon tea. Disappointing experience as was Christmas voucher.

Staff great. Food bland, only good dish was the paelle, gents toilets smell awful. Need to up your game! Much better tapas restaurants in Glasgow. If you want good tapas and atmosphere look elsewhere

We went here for a candlelight concert on Friday evening. Brilliant event. The string quartet performed music by Adele, and they were fab.

Spanish afternoon tea is a joke - just have a look what is being served and how the pics on their website looks like! Should mention that half of the options are taken of the menu but they are not telling you that. Just bread and no flavour to it

Regarding owner response: I have found multiple pictures with the same issue from last year. You are not making sure it’s not gonna happen again. Spanish Afternoon tea - joke. Have a look at photos on their website and real food that is served. If you want to pay £30pp for loads of bread then you will be happy, otherwise don’t expect churros and prosseco - it’s not on the menu but they don’t inform. Staff saved the day 10/10 but the rest rubbish.

The meal was warm and OK. Not worth the money paid. Staff worked so hard, but certainly need more staff especially on a Saturday night. Downstairs toilet in need of renovation.

We had the most fabulous night last night at the Abba tribute with dinner. Great meal and good service. The Abba tribute duo were truly excellent. We danced, we sang and we laughed until it hurt. Travelled from Ibiza to attend this and wouldn't have missed it for the world.

We went to a queen tribute night the food was awful after waiting over hour and a half to be served Was honestly shocking £35 food we couldn’t eat the pork loin was like a rubber brick Would need a chain saw to cut through it

I booked the Red Room out for my hen night and it was great - lovely decor, candles lit and a private bar. Also Arta organised a DJ who was just amazing, his name is Neghi and he absolutely made the night perfect. Can't recommend him enough!

Service was absolutely fantastic! Booked a private room for my birthday meal with my family, we were served by the manager and a girl with blonde hair. The food was brilliant and our entire group was really happy!

Booked a room for my husband’s birthday meal. There was 20 of us in the group. The whole group raved about the food and the service we received (blonde girl with curly hair and the manager) were very attentive, playful with our group and made us all feel very welcome. We would 100% book again and thank the staff for their care whilst we were there.

I would like to thank the staff at Arta for all their help organising my 50th party. From the first point of contact to the last I found Arta very professional and they listened to everything that I had asked for the night. Service was prompt on the night also whenever I was needing anything and I gotta say that the actual venue was stunning and that made the party even better. There was a lovely vibe and had a great atmosphere which was picked up by everyone at the party. I absolutely would not hesitate to throw another bash here. The night was a 10/10 for us 👍👍

Came here with work colleagues for the drag comedy show with Barbara la bush and Jane Henderson, what an amazing atmosphere and show everyone had a great night the food and drinks where lovely too would highly recommend going to one of these nights.

We had been given tickets as a Christmas present to a Hanz Zimmer evening, and decided to treat ourselves to dinner afterwards as the performance started at 6pm and only lasted an hour. I noted from the website that the place is not wheelchair accessible. It should have said not suitable for disabled customers. I have to use a walking stick due to severe sciatica, and the concert was accessed by a steep set of stairs to the basement. The very uncomfortable chairs were crowded together in the room with no space between them and all I could see were the fingers of the cello player. I was very disappointed that the music was just a string quartet when Hanz Zimmer uses a full orchestra, and although there was no way the space could have accommodated an orchestra, some other instruments would have been nice. I hardly recognised any of the music played other than the Pirates of the Caribbean encore. When we tried to separate the chairs to make seating easier, I ended up with a view of a thick brick pillar. There was very little thin padding on the chairs so I was not at all comfortable. Imagine my horror then, to discover once we had climbed the stairs again, that to access the restaurant, we had to climb two further steep flights of stairs, each with about 20-25 steps I guess, and then to find the seats were the same awful ones we had had to endure for the concert. Although I had pre-booked the dinner, there was some confusion over which menu we had booked. Our drinks and first course were served quickly enough, but we had a very long wait for our main course, and half of my beef was inedible as it was just thick gristle which we mentioned to the waitress when she collected our plates. We then had another long wait for our desserts, and a waitress eventually came over to ask us if we were waiting for dessert even though we had ordered them when we first arrived. I asked when ordering if we had to order dessert as well, and that waitress said yes we were to order all three courses together. The layout of the venue means that there is a space at one corner of the room where you can see down to the bar area below, and as the evening progressed we were aware that the volume of the music in the bar was being gradually increased, so that by the end of our meal it was uncomfortably loud and intrusive. The toilets too could have been serviced more frequently, as there were bits of paper all over the floors, and water spilt everywhere from the quirky wash basins. There were only hand driers at one end of the room, meaning that if you had a handbag with you, there was nowhere to safely leave it while you dried your hands. I was also not aware of a disabled toilet anywhere, which due to hygiene reasons I have to use. Sadly not at all a pleasant experience of an evening.

Interesting stylish and upmarket restaurant, bar and club. Good drinks selection and beautiful romantic setting. Only criticism would be that the decor downstairs and music choice seems completely at odds with the classiness of the rest of the building 🙈.

What a place....a great venue for my mum's surprise birthday party. A sensational menu, super helpful staff who couldn't do enough for us during the evening. Thank you all so much for your help during the night. Will be back to sample the tapas!

In the heart of Hogmanay's embrace, Salsa, fire, and ceilidh grace. A whirl of joy, a petal fall, Friendly faces, the best of all. Downstairs, a twist in the tale, A club's heartbeat, a lively trail. Upstairs, my desired delight, Gladly, friends followed the night. Ceilidh's rhythm, a lively beat, Dancing feet, no need for retreat. Not overly drunk, spirits high, A fab night beneath the sky.

Went for hogmanay. Amazing atmosphere.

Had the company Christmas dinner here and it was by far the loudest meal I've ever had in my entire life.. couldn't even hear my colleagues and we had to keep shouting to each other. If you want to know what it feels like to eat have dinner at a nightclub this is probably the place to be. Food was not the best either unfortunately. My sea bass was cold when served. And some of my colleagues complained about their vegan options too. Poor staff.. they had to shout here and there too, and the place was so warm we can see that they were sweating but they delivered great services! Hats off to them. The price was very expensive with all things considered. Will not recommend it!

Hogmany at Arta,lovely surroundings, plenty variety in entertainment ,but the bar staff leave a little bit to be desired, especially downstairs as they all seem confused and untrained ,bit like the blind leading the blind....door staff lovely especially the chap with the beard and the girl with the dark hair(sorry I didn't catch your names) I'm the coat with the missing buttons 😂😂 thank you for your help 😀

food basic and bland, tables were sticky, you have to serve your own drinks from the bar, fake Abba was fun though lol

From the moment enquiring, to booking, to the evening itself, everything was seamless! The team at Arta are brilliant. The food and drink on the evening was fabulous and the service team on the night were nothing short of amazing. Always a smile on their face and nothing was a hassle. Will definitely return!
