Went for some drinks with a friend after work. Service is always good. Staff are accommodating. The decor of the bar is amazing. Their members club (Apollo’s Muse) was open so I was able to have a drink in there. I will definitely be coming back.

The server Nikos was amazing and made the whole experience worth it. Truffle flatbread and Truffle Pasta are a must. Greek Salad was very sub-par

We were served by Rahat, a joy! His service was impeccable, and we are French, we are used to being well served. The food is well cooked, and the decor is incredible! Remember to dress properly +, we did not know, but despite everything we were properly received, without judgment. Thank you for this last memory of London. Ps: many customers so restaurant too noisy, too bad for this price

Really weird and unwelcoming vibes. Food below average

I recently visited Bacchanalia and was left very underwhelmed by the experience. The food was just average at best absolutely nothing to rave about. The starters were served cold with no explanation what is served , which really set the tone for the rest of the meal. I ordered pasta with ragu which never seen a salt and pepper and the French toast for a dessert, it was surprisingly dry, almost like a piece of bread that had been left out in the desert sun—definitely not the warm, fluffy dish I was expecting. To top it off, the service didn’t impress either. Our waiter seemed a bit inattentive and, unfortunately, had visibly dirty nails, which was quite off-putting. Overall, it was a terrible experience, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. Unless u coming to take a photos of interiors…

We visited the place with my wife and the staff was extremely slow and did not know the vine stock and we had to wait more than 20 min to get the wine in our table. The baby chicken is not tasty at all. Overpriced with very poor service. Just a selfie place😉

I didn’t eat here, so can only speak for the drinks and service in the private room - but they were fab. The place is beautiful and stuns you when you walk in. Worth going just to see how gorgeous it is. Staff were all lovely, especially the doormen (which is never usually the case anywhere!)

Service and atmosphere were great. However very let down by mediocre food for the sky high prices. We had the cod for main. The vegetables that came with it tasted bland and undercooked, i feel like we should have been suggested some sort of side to go with it at least. Tuna tartare and the squid were ok but again nothing to rave about. The place was beautiful, but just unfortunate about the food especially when you are paying a premium price.

Worst customer service I’ve ever had!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Won’t go there ever and will not recommend anyone to go there. Just rude and unprofessional. Disappointed that a restaurant at this level doesn’t have a supervisor at 07:00pm to talk to. Embarrassing

Too greedy for a 2 pound cover fee to store the cloth without telling us there will be a fee! Next time, you can charge more for seating fee, glass and plate fee pls! You are already making so much money and still ask for more money! What a shame!!!

I recently visited a fine-dining restaurant located at the corner between Mount Street and Davies Street, near Mayfair. The restaurant has a stunning decor that immediately captivates you with its vibrant atmosphere, adorned with many statues. We were seated upstairs, which was quieter and more intimate. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, always smiling. We ordered a three-course meal that included Keftedes, Seabream Carpaccio, Seabream Fricassee, Grilled Chicken, Chocolate Truffles, and Bacchanalia Tiramisu, along with some wine. Except for the Grilled Chicken, which was average, everything else was outstanding. The Tiramisu, in particular, was unforgettable! I look forward to trying more dishes on my next visit.

We had a lovely experience at Bacchanalia London. The atmosphere was vibrant and welcoming, and the food was delicious. Maria looked after us very well, she was attentive and friendly. Her excellent service really added to the overall experience, and we felt well taken care of throughout our evening!

And I haven’t even started talking about the food! Every single detail in this restaurant was spot on. I’ve never had a dining experience like this before. While the restaurant's interior was beautifully and uniquely designed, the overall atmosphere felt overly formal and heavy. Unfortunately, the service lacked attention to detail and was quite poor. Additionally, the quality of the food was rather average compared to its high prices. In the end, I found the ambiance neither warm nor inviting, and sadly, it wasn’t even worth trying once.

very very disappointed, I've been here before and the service was not at all the same. This time all the waiters were very unpleasant, I had asked in advance to be placed upstairs for my friend's birthday and we were placed next to the entrance door with a draught throughout the meal. Three waiters insisted that we take a bottle of water when we'd already ordered two cokes, which were served directly into the glass, not even in front of us. The dishes served were COLD, pasta with truffles and meat was cold, and the worst that could have happened the waiter had already given us the bill while he was bringing us the cold dishes, as if they were kicking us out of the restaurant somehow. A catastrophic meal for my friend's birthday.

As everyone probably says the place is absolutely beautiful. There’s no doubt. However, the service is absolutely hit or miss. My party was a total of 5 and we all came at different times and all experienced completely different treatment. It felt extremely suspicious how only the black and brown people were treated with such disrespect. With firstly both being ignored when they arrived even though there was no line. But when I alongside my European friends arrived we’re welcomed and shown to our table. Very disappointing. Also the food was disgusting but no surprises as this place is known for having bad food but getting away with it due to the decor.

We had reservations after reading some of the reviews but our experience was very different. Service and the quality of food was great. Our waiter Nikos was always nearby whenever we needed anything, service with a smile. He advised on menu options knowing that I was vegetarian, which was appreciated. Food came quickly, truffle croquettes were crispy, fresh and tasty. Charred beetroot had a nice textured topping and flavoursome walnut pesto. The risotto was full of saffron flavour and rich without feeling dense and heavy. Bread basket had an assortment of warm soft fresh breads. The medusa dessert was as spectacular as the beautiful surroundings. Even the bathrooms were elaborate and had a wow factor. Highly recommend a visit for a sensational experience.

Dined here on Wednesday evening. Stunning decor and great atmosphere. We really enjoyed the conversation and help of the waitress who helped us (the lovely Ukrainian lady!). Food was okay but really nothing special. Paid a total of £160 for lamp shish - chicken shish - tiramisu - water and a mojito. Above the average prices with average food. Great date spot though! ✨

Starters were great, main course was very late. cold and sent back twice. Original meat returned, overdone and still cold. We still had to pay for two of the main courses even though these should have been comped - only one main course was comped. Lorenzo gave us complimentary desserts but I wouldn’t be running back.

In general we liked everything very much! When we arrived, we were invited to the bar to wait for our table (we had a reservation), but we had to wait about 30 minutes, which was not pleasant, but the atmosphere at the bar was amazing, the music was just incredible! Thanks to the DJ!!! Then we were escorted to our table, all the waiters were polite, the atmosphere of the main bar was also great, but the live music was too loud and it was difficult for me to hear the people we were talking to. The food was prepared very quickly. All the dishes were incredible, especially the thank you da sea bass I had, it was incredibly fresh and all the components of the dish complemented each other. It was my birthday and they brought me a compliment from the restaurant, which was nice. The dessert we ordered was also very tasty. To be honest, I didn't really like the cocktails, but it depends on your taste I think. There were three of us and each of us left £90, which is quite a large sum, but the atmosphere and experience are worth it. We had less than two hours at the table and were asked to leave because of the next reservation. Overall, I recommend experiencing the atmosphere, but I don't think I would visit this place again.

Really vibey spot for a set lunch in Mayfair, oozing with class. Welcome staff every attentive and make you feel special, however the waiting staff weren’t quite as strong (less warm/inviting and somewhat slow). The food was the let down and was average at best. A great experience, but not a great meal - the setting carries it. Perhaps avoid steak and keep it simple with pasta and it could’ve been a different story.

I’ve heard plenty of reviews saying this restaurant didn’t taste good, but my experience was quite the opposite. The food was great, and the staff were very accommodating. A couple of downsides would be the limited space, no flash photography allowed, steep service charge and the place being a bit overcrowded due to overbooking. However, overall, it was still an amazing experience!

I was little tentative about the place as it was recommended on social media however everything about the place went beyond my expectations. From the minute we entered we felt welcomed every single member of staff was polite. Our waiter Alex was lovely and made some great recommendations. The food tasted great and good value for money. This was the worst restaurant experience I have ever had in London and I travel here 6-8 times a year for work. The drink was so expensive and the tiniest drink of my life. Our waiter smelled like body odor. I felt sick every time he got close and he knew nothing about the menu. I am so glad I didn’t bring clients. We ate and left in under one hour. After I wrote this review, the manager called me to follow-up. Not only did he reprimand me like a child for writing this review, he offered a new drink to make me feel better next time I decide to fly to London. Let's see, I spent 250 pounds on dinner, had a terrible experience, and now you are offering one drink and scolding me like a child to make up for the service at your restaurant. I am sorry sir, I see why this place has issues to start.

We ordered sea bream carpaccio( barely find any fish, was just onion and reddish plus it wasn’t even full spoon 😂, red pepper homous and tzatziki was alright but bread was too dry. We thought we could enjoy the main course it was more disappointing🤦🏻‍♂️ COD ALA POLLITA was swimming in water with vegetables, SEA BREAM AND MUSSELS no flavor. AND WAS ABSOLUTELY cold. Both main has no flavor at all. What a money and time waste. Decoration very architectural n looks good but it doesn’t satisfying us as we wanted the enjoy the food. I definitely not recommend 👎🏻

Tonight my wife and I went to this place thinking not to miss this show of decor and hospitality with nice, very kind and helpful staff. Kindness and professionalism found throughout the dinner with each member of the staff. We thought it was cool and loved it. What I want to highlight in this review is the following: The cuisine impressed us even more. Not easy in such a beautiful place. Congratulations to the chef and all the staff. It's not easy to stay happy with everything you order from the menu. We chose a delicious fried calamari, a sublime tuna tartare, stellar truffle tagliatelle and a delicate and powerful pumpkin risotto with a perfect balance of flavours. compliments also to the bar for the very pleasant and well-made drinks. Finally, a tiramisu recommended to us for a final treat and, given the quality of everything we had tasted, we accepted this dessert without thinking twice which was nothing short of fantastic. I would add that we are Italian... we come from Naples and we are very strict in the catering field (all Italian gourmets are). What can I say... we were very happy. We already had many reasons to return to your splendid city. We really liked London and your place will make us want to come back because of how good we had it. It's the first time we've eaten pasta outside Italy and, hands down, I can say that the chef is a great master. Also happy with the quality/price ratio. I wish you all the best and keep going. Wonderful restaurant with stratospheric interiors! Excellent food, high prices but on the other hand this place cost a good 75 million with real statues and frescoes by various artists! A special thank you to Luca assistant manager who satisfied all our requests and questions! Very kind staff both at the entrance (with free cloakroom) and inside the restaurant! The only flaw is perhaps the music is a little too loud and modern 🙂

Unforgettable experience! The place is a must to visit. Atmosphere is so unique, beautiful, unreal. Service is top notch, you will be taken care of during whole your dining experience as top VIP guest. Very professional staff, very friendly. The food is just heavenly delicious. My compliments to the chef, as this was just the most delicious food. Must try lobster pasta, lamb with orzo, octopus and beef tartar. Definitely coming back and highly recommended

The ambience was nice but the vegetarian food was highly disappointing. Firstly there were very few options, and secondly the portion sizes were tiny. The servers seemed to be sickly sweet and quite fake with their praises. All in all, been there and done that and not returning.

I booked on opentable, got there and they didn't have my booking, whilst I was trying to go through emails they were allowing people infront of me and I got pushed to the corner wasn't a nice feeling, which is fine, but it was just not a very "high end" experience. Service - horrible. The staff were really nice when speaking to them, but took forever to get their attention, they didn't have a set server that was attending to us or coming in to check in on us, honestly nandos staff do it better than Bacchanalia and that's saying something. There wasn't that attention to detail that you would expect from a high end restaurant. Decor - WOW - honestly, just come for the decor. It's so beautifully done, the attention to detail on the decor, the interiors the TOILET ALONE IS BREATHTAKING! Music - Amazing!! They had a bad ass DJ and the music was at a perfect level where you can enjoy a conversation and enjoy the music and not hear the conversation of people next to you. Food - very very MEH...Nothing hit the spot, they could do SO much better with food for a high end restaurant. Very expensive and honestly next time I'd just come for drinks oysters & caviar. All in all, go for drinks, hang out at the bar, but don't expect outstanding service or outstanding food, its literally somewhere to vibe.

Bacchanalia is undoubtedly a stunning restaurant in the heart of London. With an opulent interior and mostly excellent food, this certainly is a restaurant worth visiting. The assortment of starters was splendid. My main wasn't of the same high standard, as my Milanese was slightly dry, the desserts, however, were pleasant. Unfortunately, the service was not ideal. Despite having a reservation for 2:15 and every member of my group being at the restaurant before the alloted time, we weren't seated until 2:45, rendering us late for postprandial plans. The food was also a little slow to be served at times, but the taste mostly compensated for that.

If you are looking for a restaurant with gorgeous setting and excellent hospitality Bacchanalia is a must visit. It's the perfect mix of style and comfort

I had high expectations for Bacchanalia in Mayfair, and at first, it seemed promising. The gentleman who opened the door was warm, welcoming, and set a positive tone for the evening. However, that initial impression quickly faded once I stepped inside. The group of hostesses lacked basic customer service skills—no smiles, no warmth, and no sense of hospitality. I was informed that I had arrived early and was advised to wait at the bar. Upon reaching the bar, I noticed a young short lady bartender who appeared busy, so me and my sister patiently waited for her to finish preparing cocktails. We were on my phones checking our itinerary for rest of the night/ week. Mid-conversation with my sister, she abruptly asked, “Have you got a booking with us?” There was no courtesy or professionalism in her tone, just a blunt and uninviting approach. When we confirmed our reservation and requested a wine list, she handed us a menu without bothering to go through it or offer any recommendations. Once we placed our order, it took an unnecessarily long time to receive our drinks, adding to the already frustrating experience. As we waited, a tall girl and a young man entered the bar, giggling, hugging, and engaging in personal conversations as if they were at a casual gathering rather than a high-end establishment. To my disbelief, the young man then jokingly hit his colleague with a cloth, both of them laughing before looking at us and walking away. The complete lack of decorum, professionalism, and class was astonishing. I have to add that the hostess at the restaurant who served me and my sister- she was lovely! For a restaurant that positions itself as a luxury dining experience, the service was beyond disappointing. No etiquette, no refinement—just an unprofessional and chaotic atmosphere. I will not be returning, nor would I recommend this place to anyone looking for quality service. A truly unpleasant experience.

To be honest I was a bit disappointed by the food. I expected more. The atmosphere was very pleasant and I loved the vibes and the decorations - the bathroom was stunning. Service was also good. However, the food was not that delicious at all, for the price we paid I expected much tastier meals. The only thing I enjoyed were the desserts but that’s about it.

I had eaten here previously and had a really great time, so I was excited to bring some friends for a night out. Food was amazing but the service was disappointing. Our booking was for 5pm and the host seemed very confused when we came in. Drinks arrived after our starters, took ages for that to be cleared. It was only cleared after we asked for to be. My friend asked about our mains and they were told they thought we’d already had them. For ordering everything shortly after arriving our mains took about an hour to come. At the end Alpha saved everything.

The ambience is quite unique. My family and I had a great time. The food and the dessert was really good. My favorite was the chicken skewer. Also the cocktails were tasty as well. Our Turkish waitress helped us a lot. Overall it was the perfect experience for us.

Beginning of February...wet, dull, miserable... So what better way to cheer up the month than by a visit to Bacchanalia for it's set menu. To start with the setting ...what can one say? The giant statues, frescos, mosaic floors, it's a feast for the eyes. And far from the comments that you feel like you are eating in a museum...it is warm with a cosy feel. The set menu, two courses for £32 or three for £39, sides are extra £5 per dish, extra starters at £4 each. The set menu consists of 4 starters, 4 main courses and two desserts. We chose the fried ravioli and the thinly sliced veal. The ravioli was sadly quite dry and tasteless...the veal was ok. Main courses... octopus salad noticeably missing octopus...grilled salmon...very vinegary. The drinks....the Portuguese white wine.. excellent, the cocktail...the Pick me Up ... excellent...the coffee was for once in a restaurant was very good Now...the biggest let down was the service. It was all over the place. We seemed to have visited on "bring your own clothes day". There was no consistency, either they were in your face or absent. They were dressed as if they were attending a dress down school day! Overall...my feelings. Disappointing....not worth the money. So..... don't visit. It's not worth it. After our expensive afternoon where did we go? Soho Social in Berwick Street ...we are and drunk there...better value and a far nicer bar to be in.....just go here instead

We went for lunch a few days ago. Devastating place, furnished with sculptures and statues of absolute value. Excellent service, special mention for Luca. He followed us and advised us throughout the lunch, he showed us and explained the entire place, also showing us the private area inside. Excellent food quality. Highly recommended. Well done.

I have left my rings in the bathroom for less than five minutes and when I came to take them back they were gone. When we asked the staff about it and asked them if they can see the cctv cameras in the hallway of the bathroom they said that they don’t have authority to do that, they told us we should contact the police to get authorization. When we contacted the police they said that they have no authority and the restaurant manager has the authority. I am so upset because why did the staff and the manager lead us on that if we contacted the police they would help us when they knew the police don’t have the authority. Also having a policy stating that the restaurant can’t view the cctv is an absolute joke! Why have cctv in the first place if you’re not going to use them. I understand that my rings being lost has nothing to do with the restaurant but the way the handled it put me off

Fun ambiance and vibe with some decent food and service. Interior pretty amazing as you would expect in another restaurant from the owner of Annabel’s, The Ivy etc.

One of my favourite experiences for food in Mayfair so far. I was obsessed. From the decor to the customer service everything was perfect! Beauty dishes and the best Tiramisu I’ve ever had! They have done all the little touches from going to the toilet and hearing Gladiators having a battle! To stunning artwork and statues that stun you as you walk in - I’m obsessed with Medusa one especially 😍 - Thank you again I will recommend to everyone!

The staff is not up to par in the place. I pay for a service not to receive any, plus to be treated arrogantly by the unprofessional waitress. Closing at 10.30pm at 10 we order a round of bitters, after 20 minutes the order arrives and one was missing, we point out this missing piece, the young lady replies "the bar is closed". We urge, and are intimidated by the fact that there is a bodyguard outside the club. With this, the wines on the menu are not available to the guest. Precisely, the experience was not experienced by kids, but by very distinguished gentlemen accustomed to elegant, luxury venues! Elegance and Luxury is also in the service!

The bread basket offered an impressive variety of choices. For dessert, the pan cookie was a decadent treat. The service was impeccable. The waiters were attentive and knowledgeable, and the sommelier's wine suggestions were spot-on, enhancing our meal perfectly. While there was a DJ playing upstairs, the music was not intrusive and added to the lively atmosphere. Overall, Bacchanalia Mayfair is a fantastic choice for a special occasion or a memorable date night.

In order to be more reliable in publishing my experience, the restaurant has really delicious food, but I had a problem with the receptionist. She was very unprofessional. I had a reservation and came 15 minutes early. I arrived at the restaurant and she told me it was 6 o’clock. I said, “Okay, surprise people who have a reservation after me and come in!! At the hour they booked the time, I spoke to the manager and he understood the situation that what the employee had done was misbehavior and not speaking to the customer. The manager is very professional and respectful, so I wanted to mention his name because really, if you need anything, Enrico, and also the one who took the order was very respectful and professional, his name is Alpha, in general, food and catering. These two people made my day after I arrived at the restaurant and was greeted by an unprofessional employee who treated me rudely.
