I recently visited Bacchanalia, and while the food was absolutely delicious, the overall experience was not as expected. The ambiance is stunning, and the flavors in each dish were impressive. However, the service did not meet the high standard I anticipated, possibly due to the crowds. When I politely requested to have the service charge removed, two waiters came over to ask why—even after I stated that I preferred to keep the reason to myself. While the waiters were polite, I found this unnecessary. The real disappointment came when I exited the restaurant: the manager in the black suit deliberately closed the door in front of me while making eye contact. This behavior was unprofessional and left a negative impression. Perhaps this reaction was due to my request to remove the service fee, but regardless, it felt inappropriate. Overall, Bacchanalia offers great food, but service and hospitality could be improved to match the premium dining experience they aim to provide.

The starters were very good, but the main courses fell short. The atmosphere inside is great. Although we did not drink alcohol, the figure seemed high per person, in my opinion. Of course, considering the region it is located in and the audience it addresses, it is normal.

This is one of my favorite restaurants find dining in Mayfair in London They have the best food, the best place and also the best service From the receptionist, Natalie and Leo or Louis I don’t recall specifically they were the receptionist on 31 March. I didn’t celebrate my mother’s Mother’s Day and she was kind enough to try to manage to do it this thing unfortunately I had something that I I wasn’t in a rush, but I like that gesture and I appreciate it so much now talking to Food. My favorite dishes were Fettuccine pasta 🍝 Caviar 🥚🐠 The catch of the day my dad loved it 🐟 As basic as it is, it was super tasty the basket of bread and the waiter unfortunately didn’t catch his name. He was kind enough to give us two more free baskets. 🍞 I recommend the Food from God section in the menu we ordered Lamb Leg 🐑 And chicken skewers dish from that section 🍗

Amazing experience at this place, the food the vibes and waiter Reha provided us with the best experience one can have at Bacchanalia .. definitely coming back.

Really amazing venue with unique decor. Staff are dressed as ancient Romans and are really attentive during service. The overall experience was good, food was nice however not mind blowing. The lunch offer seems a pretty good deal if you want to try it without hurting your pocket.

Theme of the restaurant: Influencer porn The interior design looks like it's been designed to look good for Instagram/tiktok but in reality it's very cramped, our table was loose and heavily scratched and it was so loud, especially put under the speaker, I couldn't hear the person next to me talk The service was okay, it took a while for the drinks to come after ordering but food came in good time, although the pasta ordered across the table came al dente. Lamb was tender and spiced well and the flatbread was one of the better things ordered Also, the men's bathroom while clean was odd in theme. Pampas grass poking out a large oversized vase tickling you as you use the urinal and Gladiator (?) sound clips playing as you use the room, think Romans declaring battle and then sword fighting sound effects

Overall appalling. Service was disgusting. Very slow with the drinks even. We were sat under the speaker and it was so loud. I’m 21, and it was too loud. We couldn’t hear one another speak or what the waiter was saying. We asked if it was possible to turn down just the speaker above us and the waiter laughed in our faces and then said he’d speak to the manager- from his tone and facial expression he had no intention of doing so. Incredibly patronising. It’s not unreasonable to want to be able to hear the person next to you. Table was wobbly and scratched all over. Super cheap dining experience that doesn’t reflect what the decor wants you to think. The business model is being a TikTok trap. Food was ok. Hardly any meat in the meat dishes and small portions. It felt like a theme park. It felt like the Trafford Centre. Manners don’t cost anything. Don’t patronise your guests

Interior design mixed with your dinner, who knew? The sculptures and interior designs throughout makes your eyes dance. Your body soon follows with the upbeat tempo of world music playing while the artisan cocktails dance against your palette. That’s just for starters. The food was fair, I guess I expected a tad better at this price point and the thoughtfulness put into the design, I wanted the cuisine to match. Nevertheless, the vibe was a vibe and the venue stayed packed with no walk-in availability that night, so no reservation meant try your luck at the bar you still wouldn’t regret. Italian restaurant with Roman/ Greek influences from the wait staff in Paige regalia to the insets in the wall. Outside of the doormen the staff could be a bit more hospitable, and work on their personality. A smile and friendliness goes a long way.

I had a very disappointing experience with Bacchanalia and would not recommend it to anyone who values transparency and good customer service. Despite cancelling my reservation more than 24 hours in advance, the restaurant still charged a £200 no-show fee without any notification. I only noticed this charge three weeks later on my credit card statement. When I contacted them, they admitted the mistake and promised a refund—but said it would take another 10 working days. Essentially, they held my money for nearly a month without any justification, and when I asked for compensation for this inconvenience, they refused. They claimed my booking fell under a "key date" policy requiring 72 hours’ notice for cancellation, but this was never mentioned in my confirmation email or at the time of booking. This lack of transparency feels deceptive. To make matters worse, the staff I was having a conversation her name is Leena Vara- Caprice Holdings Reservations Manager was very unhelpful and didn't care about my complain. For a high-end restaurant, I expected much better service and clear policies, not hidden terms designed to catch customers out. I would strongly caution anyone considering a visit—there are plenty of other fine dining options that treat their guests with honesty and respect.

Disappointing Experience and Poor Customer Service I had an extremely disappointing experience at Bacchelina in Mayfair. From the start, the service was disorganized and unprofessional. Upon arrival, I specifically asked at the reception whether they had a set menu, and no clear answer was given. When we were seated, the waitress confirmed that the set menu was available and proceeded to take our full order, including starters, mains, and drinks. However, just minutes later, another staff member—possibly a manager—came over and bluntly informed us that the set menu was no longer available, without any rational explanation or accountability for their mistake. Rather than acknowledging their error or attempting to rectify the situation, the staff were dismissive and made no effort to accommodate us. The manager’s attitude was particularly unprofessional, offering no apology or alternative solution. When I expressed my dissatisfaction and decided to leave due to the poor treatment, I was met with indifference and a simple “It’s up to you.” This level of service is unacceptable, especially in a supposedly high-end restaurant. To make matters worse, I later discovered that many other fine dining restaurants in Mayfair—around six of them—are owned by the same company, Caprice Holdings. This lack of competition creates a monopoly where customer experience seemingly takes a backseat, as they know dissatisfied diners have limited alternatives. This is something regulators should investigate, as it leaves customers with no real choice while allowing service standards to deteriorate. I would not recommend Bacchelina and would caution others against dining here if they expect professional and respectful service.

A visually amazing restaurant that is worth coming to. However, as the reviews suggest, don’t be expecting a fine dining meal. Prices are high and the food is pretty average. Definitely worth coming for the novelty factor though.

I had lunch at Bacchanalia in London - the service was good, and the waitress who served us was super kind and really professional. Unfortunately, I don't remember her name, but she's Greek, and she was truly amazing. The location is stunning, with an incredible Greek-inspired design. The food was very good; The prices are what you'd expect in Mayfair, so no surprises there. However, I have to take off two star — for the table and for the lack of effort in accommodating a customer. No offense, but I came here to enjoy the restaurant's ambiance - otherwise, I could have spent £200 in a simple Greek restaurant. I really wanted that WOW effect while dining, but nothing. Instead, we were seated in a corner, hidden behind this unnecessary fake olive tree. I couldn't even see the statues or the restaurant itself. This was incredibly disappointing because I had seen this place so many times on Instagram and couldn't wait to experience it for myself. It was one of the main reasons I chose to come here. We kindly asked for a different table and were told that the "other area" (end of the room) was closed...why?! yet there were plenty of free tables, and shortly after, other guests were seated there. The restaurant still had a lot of empty space, so this was quite disappointing. To be clear, I didn't ask for a private area —Honestly, I think that was the worst table in the entire room. I'd really recommend removing the plants —they don't add anything to the experience.

Visited the place for a second time. Amazing experience! Tried the tuna tartar and the vitello tonato this time, both great dishes. Pineapple crème brûlée also great! Great experience. Food and service were both excellent. Worths every penny. We tried the fish carpaccio, the lobster pacceri, the sea bass in salt crust, the afogado and the tiramisu. The last one was OK, but all the other dishes were really superb! We will definitely visit again

We ordered appetizers and they were delicious for the shrimp and salmon, but the burrata was average. The main course was pasta and it was delicious. The atmosphere is very wonderful.

We had an incredible experience at Bacchanalia during a recent visit to London. From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was outstanding — warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. The food was exceptional, with the Snapper Tartare unanimously declared the star of the day. Every dish was beautifully presented and packed with flavor. The cocktails were equally impressive; the Campo di Fiori was a personal favorite — perfectly balanced and unique. The attention to detail throughout the experience, from the ambiance to the service, truly set Bacchanalia apart. A big thank you to Clinton and the entire team for making our visit so memorable. We’ll definitely be back!

Worst dining experience ever. Was bumped into by a floor staff (red blazer but slightly different from other staff) multiple times while having dinner upstairs. I have adjusted the seats but he still managed to bump into my head and pretended nothing happened after I apologized to him. He also walked away from other tables who tried to get his attention. Extremely unprofessional and rude staff yet he seems to be one of the senior. It is a joke for a supposedly “high end” restaurant. I have already emailed the feedback and hope you give more attention on basic staff training.

Wonderful vibe with Damien Hirst's sculptures cantilevered over the airspace above the main dining area. Truly impressed with the restaurant interior design at every corner. Food was good considering the interior, and the price point was fair. Dessert was mediocre though. However, service was chaotic from the online booking system. I attended dinner as I booked online, but I was charged the cancellation fee of £50 the following day on the same visa card. I tried to contact the restaurant by phone, and there was silence when the call was picked up or it hung up after the voice recording. Then I sent a messgae as feedback via their website, and eventually, the auto email reply showed they actually had an email address that could reach them. To cut the story short, they finally replied to me by email. It took another 2 days to receive the refund after their email confirmation. I suppose they are dealing with online bookings and no shows as a normal part of running the restaurant, so this fault shows that they are not verifying the booking and not taking customers' payment details with care, i.e. charging customers fairly. If they believe/suspect I did not show up as my booking, they should at least give me a courtesy call to verify before charging me the penalty.

If you are a wannabe influencer, have 200+ quid to blow on 2 basic starters, some linguini and tagliatelle with two small glasses of wine that were matched for us but went about as well as well as a Chablis would with vindaloo then this is the place for you. Great photos for social media, with the decor and the food looks decent on the plate, but was unbalanced in the mouth. We didn't finish either course. Just dire. Avoid!

Lavishly decorated. Not certain how their meat and fish from the lunch menu taste like, but seafood ragu pasta was disappointing beyond measure. It basically was cooked pasta with canned octopus in its juice on top of it. Tiramisu however was nice enough.

I visited this restaurant when it first opened and was so impressed by both the interior design and the food. Wanting to share the experience, I brought a friend who was visiting London this week. Unfortunately, I was disappointed—the portion sizes have noticeably shrunk, and the taste was underwhelming. However, what truly prompted me to write this review was the receptionist’s (at the check in desk) attitude. They were warm and welcoming to the couple ahead of us, but when it was our turn, their demeanor changed completely—no smile, just a straight face, despite my politeness and friendly attitude. I didn’t feel welcome and had a negative impression to start with already.

Bacchanalia Mayfair truly delivers on both quality and experience. The truffle pasta was absolutely divine rich, creamy, and perfectly balanced with just the right amount of truffle. For the level of food, service, and ambiance, the price-to-quality ratio is fantastic, making it a standout in Mayfair. A must visit for anyone looking for a luxurious yet reasonably priced dining experience. I also love the decoration it makes you feel you are living in a fairy tale. Can’t wait to come back!

Food was very good, but way overpriced for what it is. We had Devon crab pasta and truffle pasta, both excellent but pricey for what they are. Our server was totally untrained - I had an easy question about the sea bream and he had no idea, and didn’t volunteer to find out. We wanted a glass of white, and again he couldn’t help, said he’d pick and brought ONE glass of wine, the more expensive one, and when queried, said it was sweet - not a wine we wanted to begin with! We sent it back, made sure he knew we wanted TWO glasses, and chose our own. We then asked restaurant manager (assuming the woman in a suit walking around was the manager) and she said she’d send sommelier right over. We finished our meal and sommelier never showed up. Midway through meal we suddenly had a new server. When check arrived there was a cover charge - really????!!!!! For what - there was no entertainment! Really - other than good, but overpriced food / not a good experience at all.

The atmosphere, design and food of the restaurant are simply “wonderful!” We went to have dinner on my wife's birthday evening. Reservation is required and, as in most restaurants abroad, you enter your card information at the time of reservation, and money can be withdrawn from there if you do not show up. This is a very normal situation now. When making a reservation, I recommend that you provide additional information if you are going to celebrate a special occasion. I said we would celebrate a birthday. They greeted my wife at the entrance by saying "happy birthday", I thought it was a nice gesture. The environment is very well designed. Everything from the famous statues hung on the ceiling to the toilets is an architectural marvel. First, they let you into the bar area for 7-8 minutes. You are then directed to your table. The shabby style of the waiters caught my attention. The restaurant was a Greek restaurant, so there were dishes very close to Turkish cuisine on the menu. We asked the waiter to recommend the most preferred and liked dishes. Indeed, everything he suggested was very good. We ate hummus, salad, shrimp, duck pasta and steak. They were all delicious. We ordered tiramisu for dessert. I asked them to put candles in the dessert we chose in the reservation note. However, for his birthday, they brought a plate with a candle written on it and the words "happy birthday" written on it, and this detail was also nice. Since you receive a special service, the prices are of course high, considering the popularity of the place and the taste of the food. Bread plate is subject to additional fee, when we asked for a new one they wrote +6 pounds, I think this is unnecessary :)). We paid around 210 pounds in total for 2 people. It can be preferred for a special day, we are satisfied.

Stopped in to get a drink here. I’ve seen it all over TikTok so I had to finally give it a visit. The restaurant is absolutely beautiful with very unique sculptures and decorations. Although we didn’t get food, the drink selection is great and the bartenders are very skilled! Definitely worth a visit but it is very expensive.

Got there for my birthday and we got served by Nick/ Nikos he was awesome very kind and helpful. The food was something else the best I have ever had. Atmosphere and decor on another level. Thank you Bacchanalia and Nick for that unforgettable experience.

Given some of the reviews of this place and you would think that it was all style over substance, but we found a very lively atmosphere with DJ music , excellent service and a very good menu serving excellent food. A lot of fun! What more to say? Given general Mayfair prices it was also reasonable value (as long as you stay away from over priced wine, but that is the same as everywhere). We.ve been back and were treated to similar experience.

Unique and Greek romannesqe dramatic surroundings. Standout art and statues impressive. Service prompt efficient and friendly. Food very good if not exactly outstanding for the price. Wonderful for lunch as not too busy and great ambience. Part of 10 person group in a private dining room there few years ago - that was most intense food and wine experience ever had - stuffed to the gills in food and wine was superb and unforgettable.

I was expecting something special but it was so chaotic inside, from start to finish we were served by so many different people, they were all nice and kind but it was just strange. When booking it said there was a dress code and no trainers, there were people inside wearing new balance running shoes. Food was tasty but it is very overpriced, cocktails were a disaster. We still had some food left on the table and the server took it away without asking if we were done, it was very unexpected. I chose this place for my mum’s birthday and it was a wrong choice. Generally, it was ok but I would not come again, plus super overpriced for what it is. Decor is lovely. Thanks.

This was the worst restaurant experience I have ever had in London and I travel here a few times a year for work. The drink was very expensive and the tiniest drink of my life. Our waiter smelled like body odor. I felt sick every time he got close and he knew nothing about the menu. When we asked for help, he just said sorry and stared helpless. It was 6pm and there were drunk people dancing near the stage. All the staff has to dress up like Greek gods and it felt like a movie set, not a nice restaurant. We ate and left in under one hour. After I wrote this review, the manager called me to follow-up. Not only did he reprimand me like a child for writing this review, he offered a new drink to make me feel better next time I decide to fly to London. Let's see, I spent 250 pounds on dinner, plus a 100 reservation fee, had a terrible experience, and now you are scolding me like a child to make up for the service at your restaurant. I am sorry sir, I see why this place has issues to start.

Food was incredible, but the menu is overpriced. Staff were great, but they had to follow the rules of the restaurant, and the service was rushed. I felt like I was in fast food, I came to have a good time with my friends and celebrating their birthday, but i felt we had to leave the table as soon as possible, also they didn't do anything special for my friend's birthday. I don't think I would come back, I can get great food and really enjoy my moment in other restaurants and spend less.

We came here with high expectations, and were not disappointed. The ambiance was incredible, and everyone seemed to be enjoying their Monday evening there. Our server Anna was awesome in every way. Each one of our dishes, the Greek sausage appetizer, crispy duck ragu, and grilled squid were very tasty and beautifully prepared. Cocktails were wonderful, and wines by the glass were perfect accompaniments to the individual meals. Basque style pistachio cheesecake was the perfect finish to a beautiful experience. If you get the chance when in London, make a reservation here and you will not be disappointed.

This place is insane. I know it is very trendy but the decoration and atmosphere are really cool and worth a visit. The food is great as well. Simply spectacular. We fell in love with this place before we went. But our meal was much more special than we expected. We spent more than 3 hours enjoying a delicious meal, a place that you never tire of admiring and recreating your gaze, adding a super professional and at the same time close service. We have visited many haute cuisine and Michelin star restaurants. But we have been really relaxing and enjoying ourselves. By the way, we had a baked sea bream with delicious beans. We will return on our next visit to the city. The price according to the place. We have eaten at much higher prices in London without being on par with Bacchanalia. One hundred percent recommended.

I had booked a table at Bacchanalia for a birthday, expecting a great experience, but honestly, it was quite disappointing. First of all, when we arrived, one of the staff immediately asked, “Whose birthday is it?” even though I had mentioned in my booking that it was for a celebration. This made no sense—what if I wanted to keep it a surprise? A restaurant should be more discreet about such details. Secondly, I had specifically requested seating from the set menu, but when we arrived, they told us we could only sit upstairs, even though I had already confirmed my seating choice over the phone with the staff. Luckily, after some back and forth, we were given our requested table, but it shouldn’t have been an issue in the first place. Then came the biggest letdown—the food. The set menu had only three main options: pasta, baby chicken, and steak. I chose the steak, only to be told “Sorry, we don’t have steak today.” How does that even happen? If you have just three options on your set menu, how can one be unavailable? It completely ruined the experience, as I had chosen the set menu specifically because of that option. On top of that, when we got the bill, we were charged extra fees that were never mentioned before. There was a £2.50 per person charge just to sit there—since when do restaurants charge for sitting at a table? On top of that, there was a £12 service charge, which, given the overall experience, did not feel justified at all. Honestly, for a place that is supposed to be high-end, the food was very underwhelming. The pasta I ordered was bland, and overall, the quality was nowhere near what I expected. The atmosphere was nice, but that alone is not enough to make up for the lack of good service and the ridiculous extra charges. I wouldn’t recommend this place, especially if you’re booking for a special occasion. Between the unavailable food, unexpected fees, and service issues, it was far from the experience we were hoping for.

We visited a Bacchanalia restaurant for my wife’s birthday. The restaurant had a Roman-themed concept, which made the experience even more unique. Although we didn’t have a reservation, they kindly let us in since there were available tables. From the moment we arrived, everything was absolutely perfect. I left my coat at the cloakroom, and to my surprise, there was no charge when we picked it up. The ambiance was stunning, and I’m sharing some pictures to capture the atmosphere. To highlight the restaurant’s cleanliness, I’ve also included photos from the restroom area—because I truly believe that a clean restroom reflects the quality of a restaurant. We enjoyed a delightful three-course meal, and the price-performance ratio was excellent. The service was exceptional, and the whole experience was elevated by the wonderful atmosphere. As a lovely gesture, they brought a small cake with a candle for my wife’s birthday, completely free of charge. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a memorable dining experience.

Atmosphere was great as expected and so was food, do not leave without trying the tiramisu. But the X factor of the place is definitely it’s people and the way they balance friendliness with first-class professionalism, not always the case in venues like this. From the porter (thanks for keeping my drink safe) to the hosts to the waiting staff, they are all there to elevate the experience. Big shout-out goes to Nikos for sure, a motive in itself to wish to come back.

What an amazing place!! I only didn't give it 10 stars because there is no such option... the food was amazing. I ordered salmon, it was cooked just right and very tasty... the service was wonderful, from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. I will definitely be back again.

It is a place whose interior is very carefully decorated and every part of it, from the entrance to the sinks, has been carefully thought out. DJ plays music, it has a slightly noisy atmosphere, but the waiters are very attentive and orders come quickly. The food was nice and delicious, but I didn't like the tiramisu very much, it was too creamy, one portion was enough for two people. I asked to replace the salad next to the lamb chops with potatoes, but it was not accepted for some ridiculous reason. Prices were a little expensive. They require a payment of 50 pounds per person in advance for reservation.

Bacchanalia is extravagantly decorated with three gigantic sculptures above your head. Instagrammable restaurant hence there were many diners vacuously post for photos for their social media. Our waiter was dressed in Romanesque service apparel. It’s been opened for a long while so service should have been better. Service charge was 14.5% plus a cover charge of £2 in addition, and we were rush. 5 min after desserts were served, a bill was placed on a table. 5 min later the server came with the machine. The restaurant was 25 full so when questioned why was such a rush as we did not finish our desserts yet, the server defensively said yes, this table was reserved without any care that he just served us the desserts and no apologies. We had different water, they kept topping it up like they do but mixing up sparkling and still. The Ivy’s service with affordable price is much more refined and well trained. We felt bullied out and we were a group and there was less than 2 hours.

Het interieur van dit restaurant is ongezien. Het ligt verscholen achter een vrij anonieme gevel, maar eens je de zaak binnenstapt word je stil van de prachtige plafonds, schilderijen,... Aan alles is gedacht om in hetzelfde thema te blijven : menukaarten, borden, de toiletten, kledij van de staff. Iedereen is zeer vriendelijk, dat begint al bij de portier die je verwelkomt en aan het einde van je bezoek voorstelt te helpen met een taxi. Maar ook de serveerders waren behulpzaam en vriendelijk. Het eten was lekker, Grieks geïnspireerd. We bestelden meerdere gerechten om te delen. En alles was goed, van de tzatziki tot de tiramisu. Ook de cocktails waren fris en een goede start van een originele lunch.

As Greek we decided to visit bacchanalia for a lunch . Entering the restaurant you get excited with the interior . One of the best decoration in restaurant I have ever seen . The music as well was very good . We ordered a Greek salad that was made with bad quality veggies . The baby chicken was very nice . The picanha was not so tender . The fried ravioli was fine . The tiramisu was devine Overall the food except pastry I would rate it 6/10. The environment 10/10. The staff 10/10.

Exquisite Restaurant and officially my favorite dining experience as of yet. 10/10 for atmosphere, decor, food and service. Walking in was breathtaking. The decor throughout the entire place was stunning and impressive. Handpainted ceilings! A true masterpiece. Great music. The entire staff, from the receptionist to the manager were elegant and organized. The service seemed to flow in a timely fashion and I love that. The food was extremely pleasant and palatable. The way they have figured out how to combine certain flavors to embrace the essence of each dish is grand. I dined alone so I asked for suggestions where I would be able to taste multiple plates and not waste food. I ordered the tuna tartare, crocchette di fromaggio and the lamb chops. Everything was light weight and had its own flair and I left no crumbs! The tuna tartare was the best I have ever had. I was full by dessert but I still made room because pistachio is my absolute favorite and they had a pistachio cheesecake on the menu. It was paired with a coconut ice cream. It was absolutely delicious and I normally never order dessert but I am glad I did. I will be flying back to London just to dine here again.

Went for some drinks with a friend after work. Service is always good. Staff are accommodating. The decor of the bar is amazing. Their members club (Apollo’s Muse) was open so I was able to have a drink in there. I will definitely be coming back.

We were served by Rahat, a joy! His service was impeccable, and we are French, we are used to being well served. The food is well cooked, and the decor is incredible! Remember to dress properly +, we didn't know, but despite everything we were properly received, without judgment. Thank you for this last memory of London. Ps: a lot of customers so the restaurant is too noisy, too bad for this price

The server Nikos was amazing and made the whole experience worth it. Truffle flatbread and Truffle Pasta are a must. Greek Salad was very sub-par

The service was so bad and the food was okay not the best

Service and atmosphere were great. However very let down by mediocre food for the sky high prices. We had the cod for main. The vegetables that came with it tasted bland and undercooked, i feel like we should have been suggested some sort of side to go with it at least. Tuna tartare and the squid were ok but again nothing to rave about. The place was beautiful, but just unfortunate about the food especially when you are paying a premium price.

Worst customer service I’ve ever had!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Won’t go there ever and will not recommend anyone to go there. Just rude and unprofessional. Disappointed that a restaurant at this level doesn’t have a supervisor at 07:00pm to talk to. Embarrassing

I didn’t eat here, so can only speak for the drinks and service in the private room - but they were fab. The place is beautiful and stuns you when you walk in. Worth going just to see how gorgeous it is. Staff were all lovely, especially the doormen (which is never usually the case anywhere!)

We visited the place with my wife and the staff was extremely slow and did not know the vine stock and we had to wait more than 20 min to get the wine in our table. The baby chicken is not tasty at all. Overpriced with very poor service. Just a selfie place😉

I recently visited Bacchanalia and was left very underwhelmed by the experience. The food was just average at best absolutely nothing to rave about. The starters were served cold with no explanation what is served , which really set the tone for the rest of the meal. I ordered pasta with ragu which never seen a salt and pepper and the French toast for a dessert, it was surprisingly dry, almost like a piece of bread that had been left out in the desert sun—definitely not the warm, fluffy dish I was expecting. To top it off, the service didn’t impress either. Our waiter seemed a bit inattentive and, unfortunately, had visibly dirty nails, which was quite off-putting. Overall, it was a terrible experience, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. Unless u coming to take a photos of interiors…

I recently visited a fine-dining restaurant located at the corner between Mount Street and Davies Street, near Mayfair. The restaurant has a stunning decor that immediately captivates you with its vibrant atmosphere, adorned with many statues. We were seated upstairs, which was quieter and more intimate. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, always smiling. We ordered a three-course meal that included Keftedes, Seabream Carpaccio, Seabream Fricassee, Grilled Chicken, Chocolate Truffles, and Bacchanalia Tiramisu, along with some wine. Except for the Grilled Chicken, which was average, everything else was outstanding. The Tiramisu, in particular, was unforgettable! I look forward to trying more dishes on my next visit.

Too greedy for a 2 pound cover fee to store the cloth without telling us there will be a fee! Next time, you can charge more for seating fee, glass and plate fee pls! You are already making so much money and still ask for more money! What a shame!!!

We had a lovely experience at Bacchanalia London. The atmosphere was vibrant and welcoming, and the food was delicious. Maria looked after us very well, she was attentive and friendly. Her excellent service really added to the overall experience, and we felt well taken care of throughout our evening!

Perfect ambience, great food and service

While the restaurant's interior was beautifully and uniquely designed, the overall atmosphere felt overly formal and heavy. Unfortunately, the service lacked attention to detail and was quite poor. Additionally, the quality of the food was rather average compared to its high prices. In the end, I found the ambiance neither warm nor inviting, and sadly, it wasn’t even worth trying once.

very very disappointed, I've been here before and the service was not at all the same. This time all the waiters were very unpleasant, I had asked in advance to be placed upstairs for my friend's birthday and we were placed next to the entrance door with a draught throughout the meal. Three waiters insisted that we take a bottle of water when we'd already ordered two cokes, which were served directly into the glass, not even in front of us. The dishes served were COLD, pasta with truffles and meat was cold, and the worst that could have happened the waiter had already given us the bill while he was bringing us the cold dishes, as if they were kicking us out of the restaurant somehow. A catastrophic meal for my friend's birthday.

This was the best meal we’ve ever had in our lives! If you’re trying to decide where to go for dinner, stop thinking and just come here. From the moment someone opens the door for you, to the friendly staff at the entrance, the amazing waiters, the service, and the atmosphere—everything is perfect. And I haven’t even started talking about the food! Every single detail in this restaurant was spot on. I’ve never had a dining experience like this before. Our waiter, Nicolas, was fantastic, and the entire evening was one of the best we’ve ever had. I’m not just recommending this place—I’m telling you, you need to come here!

As everyone probably says the place is absolutely beautiful. There’s no doubt. However, the service is absolutely hit or miss. My party was a total of 5 and we all came at different times and all experienced completely different treatment. It felt extremely suspicious how only the black and brown people were treated with such disrespect. With firstly both being ignored when they arrived even though there was no line. But when I alongside my European friends arrived we’re welcomed and shown to our table. Very disappointing. Also the food was disgusting but no surprises as this place is known for having bad food but getting away with it due to the decor.

We had reservations after reading some of the reviews but our experience was very different. Service and the quality of food was great. Our waiter Nikos was always nearby whenever we needed anything, service with a smile. He advised on menu options knowing that I was vegetarian, which was appreciated. Food came quickly, truffle croquettes were crispy, fresh and tasty. Charred beetroot had a nice textured topping and flavoursome walnut pesto. The risotto was full of saffron flavour and rich without feeling dense and heavy. Bread basket had an assortment of warm soft fresh breads. The medusa dessert was as spectacular as the beautiful surroundings. Even the bathrooms were elaborate and had a wow factor. Highly recommend a visit for a sensational experience.

Dined here on Wednesday evening. Stunning decor and great atmosphere. We really enjoyed the conversation and help of the waitress who helped us (the lovely Ukrainian lady!). Food was okay but really nothing special. Paid a total of £160 for lamp shish - chicken shish - tiramisu - water and a mojito. Above the average prices with average food. Great date spot though! ✨

Starters were great, main course was very late. cold and sent back twice. Original meat returned, overdone and still cold. We still had to pay for two of the main courses even though these should have been comped - only one main course was comped. Lorenzo gave us complimentary desserts but I wouldn’t be running back.

In general we liked everything very much! When we arrived, we were invited to the bar to wait for our table (we had a reservation), but we had to wait about 30 minutes, which was not pleasant, but the atmosphere at the bar was amazing, the music was just incredible! Thanks to the DJ!!! Then we were escorted to our table, all the waiters were polite, the atmosphere of the main bar was also great, but the live music was too loud and it was difficult for me to hear the people we were talking to. The food was prepared very quickly. All the dishes were incredible, especially the thank you da sea bass I had, it was incredibly fresh and all the components of the dish complemented each other. It was my birthday and they brought me a compliment from the restaurant, which was nice. The dessert we ordered was also very tasty. To be honest, I didn't really like the cocktails, but it depends on your taste I think. There were three of us and each of us left £90, which is quite a large sum, but the atmosphere and experience are worth it. We had less than two hours at the table and were asked to leave because of the next reservation. Overall, I recommend experiencing the atmosphere, but I don't think I would visit this place again.

Really vibey spot for a set lunch in Mayfair, oozing with class. Welcome staff every attentive and make you feel special, however the waiting staff weren’t quite as strong (less warm/inviting and somewhat slow). The food was the let down and was average at best. A great experience, but not a great meal - the setting carries it. Perhaps avoid steak and keep it simple with pasta and it could’ve been a different story.

I’ve heard plenty of reviews saying this restaurant didn’t taste good, but my experience was quite the opposite. The food was great, and the staff were very accommodating. A couple of downsides would be the limited space, no flash photography allowed, steep service charge and the place being a bit overcrowded due to overbooking. However, overall, it was still an amazing experience!

It is one of the worst places. The pasta is not cooked, the meat is raw, the service is bad, and the seating is not comfortable. I do not recommend it at all.
