This is high-quality fast food. The kitchen routinely churns out the master's aromatic dishes, mostly well-made, but like an assembly line. You're diabetic. Reserve a table months in advance. There's an apple for dessert. Despite the good food, after two visits, I wouldn't eat here again. The high prices don't match the overall experience. Maybe the boss should eat at his place once in a while.

The place was packed so we had a “sharing” table in the basement. Not ideal as we had some noisy neighbours. Food was tasty and we ate till we were full. Service seemed a bit too keen to get everyone out quickly.

We booked a fable for two and had a wonderful experience from start to end. The staff was lovely and efficient and contributed to the warm atmosphere of the place. The dishes offered a large spectrum of original flavours from the starters to the dessert and the cocktails were delicious. We could tell there was attention to detail both in the service and in the food. We will certainly come back.

Great service and excellent food. It was my wife’s 60th birthday but I hadn’t mentioned it at the time of the reservation but the waitress brought her a sorbet on the house with happy birthday written in chocolate the plate. A lovely touch without even asking for it.

We had an amazing time at Nopi. Already fans of Ottolenghi cook books we had a very nice meal. service was just what it needs to feel comfortable and well attended. Cocktails were very nice and the food was as expected the tastes of Ottolenghi cuisine. Ox tongue and duck were perfect and puddings were original as well. maybe the wine was not that great, I made a better choice having another cocktail.

I previously had a great experience at NOPI but was disappointed this time. Service was super spotty. Lots of staff standing around but not serving or looking at the guests. We were downstairs and it felt like they didn’t want to serve our table or that we were in a different restaurant. It took over 20 minutes to get a taster of a wine before ordering. We ordered the food while waiting & the arancini came out within minutes of ordering which was strange & we hadn’t even got the drinks yet. I put my allergy on the booking yet they still asked about it & then took time to get the gluten free menu. When asking for advice for the food quantity the waiter was super unbothered and unhelpful. Very disappointing as it ruined the overall experience. Some of the food was still super delicious like the fritter & the chicken.

Another very good restaurant in the Ottolenghi family, but a bit disappointing quantity-quality-price ratio, the prices being quite high for small plates and inexpensive basic ingredients. We really liked the ground floor room where we were seated, the common table in the basement lacks charm.

Good food as any ottolenghi branch, but service was poor. Waitress said 20mins for lamb which was substantially longer and came out medium rare, it came out with our veggies but we sent lamb back to cook. Asked how long more veggies would take to eat with the lamb which she replied a few minutes. By the time we finished our lamb, asked the women about the veggies we ordered They then arrived when we had finished everything… Manager did offer desert but too full - no comparison to the other restaurants!

I was looking forward to discovering Yotam Ottololenghi's cuisine, but I was generally disappointed. Since his specialty is vegetables, we opted for four vegetarian dishes with two appetizers and a dessert. I was expecting gourmet dishes, with elaborate and surprising flavors, but these are more tapas-style dishes with the occasional pleasant surprise. I liked the eggplant, for example, although it wasn't exceptional. The service was efficient (but not very friendly). We paid around 70 pounds per person with a glass of wine, which even for London was expensive. Overall, disappointed, so... a shame...

We’re an hour into our bar seat reservation. The food is amazing, however, service and ambiance is mixed. We’re seated at the far left of the bar which seems to be intended to be the drink order processing section converted to two paying seats. As I attempted to read the menu, drink order tickets were placed on top of the menu as they kept up with the wine pours. In front of us is the area where food arrives from the dumb waiter, which was kind of cool, however the same area was also used as silverware prepping station which smelt of dishwasher and clanged in a way that hurt my ears. Food is great and on par with our expectations. Our server also did their best. We also passed the community table downstairs and while the kitchen would be cool, if you were unfortunately seated you might be looking at storage boxes instead. Maybe this was an unfortunate experience, but it felt reminiscent of a restaurant riding on its notability and not evolving with a hospitality mindset. Final word, if you decide to come book the dining room.

We had high expectations but unfortunately they were very disappointing. I would not recommend it. The reception was cold, the atmosphere ordinary just like the dishes we had. The tables were covered with paper. Looked poor. The service walked around chaotically but had no eye for tables that needed attention. But what was most disappointing were the dishes. These were just like the atmosphere very ordinary with minimal taste experience. The portions are very small and very overpriced. I mean 2 strips of aubergine for 25e is overpriced in my opinion. After visiting nopi we were still hungry and so we went to the pub. There are better restaurants that serve this kind of dishes. The positive point is that you get a bottle of water "for free". Of course, with such prices that is a lot to pay for. Too bad because we are very fond of the books of the owner.

Tourist trap. We are fans of Ottolenghi but we were all disappointed - the dishes were not hot enough (lukewarm at best), flavor balance was dubious (one dish for instance had a great piece of cod but it was completely spoiled by piles of cardamom and coriander corns), portions are insufficient and prices are ridiculously high. Very disappointed with this restaurant, I expected to find a buffet in view of the advertising photos... Or... extravagant prices for what is on your plate. 6 pounds for a small handful of spicy nuts...5 unfortunate little pieces of grilled carrots for 7.8 pounds etc... The carrots were not grilled but partly charred, the same goes for the skin of the chicken which gave the sauce a not-so-great taste. and which did not allow me to define what were the ingredients which made up the sauce, I was left with a bad taste in my mouth all day and I was not dazzled by the flavors so praised in this type of cuisine …I was so happy to taste this “…fashion effect” cuisine??? I regret not having reacted...this is the first time that I have posted a review for a restaurant because I am in the food industry myself and I don't like to demolish but here!!! a little positive touch: the super pleasant carrot apple ginger juice and the very interesting dessert.

1. I have all of Ottolenghi's cooking books and I think he's one of the best chefs in the world. 2. 7 years ago we visited NOPI and enjoyed it so much. It was fantastic and this was the reason why we came back. Due to lockdown and other reasons we could not come earlier. 3. The staff is really friendly and helpful This was the foreword. 4. Our visit on Dec.12th was a pure disappointment. Last time we sat downstairs, which we enjoyed, this time on the groundfloor, a noisy place with the atmosphere of a fast food location. A poor staff who has to work in such a noisy environment. Last time the menue offered crispy salads this time the greens were poorly accompaining some of the dishes. The nibbles were ok, average. The bread crust was not crispy at all and everything a bit chewy. You should change the baker or not let rest the bread too long in humid air. The courses brussel sprouts (good), blue cheese souffle (average, far too sweet in some parts, killing the blue cheese taste), the pork belly and the ox tongue were served at the same time. The latter two dishes were luke warm. We told the (very friendly) waitress/waiter to send it back because of the temperature. It was not something pleasent to eat. They took it back and we got a hot pork belly and again a luke warm tongue. We did not complain anymore because we saw the kitchen was probably too busy to react. Anyhow the pork belly was a desaster - only fat and nothing else. Having eaten many pork bellies in my life, I know it should be something special - a melting delight in the mouth and the crackling should be beautiful brown, crispy and a texture adventure. Not something pale, hard and with a chewy finish. The accompaining sauce tasted like convenience sauce - I'm sure it wasn't but it tasted like that - quite an art to do it the other way round. A tongue can be luke warm but then it should be served e.g. on hot lentils or a crispy salad and not with greasy potato straw and some lettuce leaves. Because the staff was really friendly we did not want to complain again because we already knew we won't come again. The overall atmosphere was more 'come, eat, leave and be glad you got a table at NOPIs' and not 'enjoy your evening, relax and try to concentrate on your meal with all your senses'. Maybe people think 'if I do not like something of Ottolenghi's cuisine, it's because I have a bad taste or I do not know how to enjoy it' or the people simply accept what they got, how they got and where they got it. Or 'I pay a lot, the restaurant is booked out all the time - it can't be bad'. I'm sorry but things like this should not happen in such a restaurant. Of course there can be good days and less good days. But this time we saw, analizing the whole concept, that this was not a bad day, it was the basic structure of the restaurant. The next day we went to another star rated restaurant and we had a fantastic evening with fantastic food in a very comfortable and not dezibel filled atmosphere. Sorry. We love this restaurant. A perfect place for a special occasion. Great food , wine and atmosphere! The only comment about mirrored toilets , I’m always lost , first can’t find entrance then exit 🤣

First time here, won’t be the last! Every mouthful was a joy to eat! I’m vegetarian so can’t comment on meat dishes but this place knows how to make superb vegetarian dishes that celebrate every taste of natural produce. The service was outstanding and we enjoyed a fabulous meal pre a theatre trip. The cheesecake small plate is to die for!!!

Another well established restaurant, with the clear signature of Ottolenghi. Food was amazing. Restroom can be overwheling ;-)

Such a disappointment. The food was lacking imagination. Most of the meals were below average and did not meet our expectations. I guess it’s another over hyped restaurant by a TV chef. Will never return or recommend.

It's my second time at Nopi and loved it as much as the first time. However....There were 3 of us and 2 people don't particularly like spicy food. A lot of the dishes were quite spicy for them, it would have been nice to have seen that on the menu as it wasn't clear. it's only a small thing but would have made a big difference to them.

I highly recommend this restaurant. Simple ingredients for an excellent meal. The service was very good! Their wine selection is really very good. On the other hand, there is no need for salt crystals on the bread.

Restaurant worthy of the quality and reputation of this great chef. The staff is very pleasant, accommodating, welcoming. Everything was perfect from the cocktail to the dessert. Thank you for the candle for my birthday.

Terrible service and mediocre food. Small portions with a lack of flavour. Prices beyond the quality of food. Furthermore an incompetent waitress spilled a cocktail in my lap. The manager promised a lot but followed through on nothing. I would recommend fallow as much tastier similarly priced alternative.

Great food, rushed and rude service. The server actually threw silverware down on the table when we asked him for additional clean silverware.

Disappointed! I decided to come to NOPI for my birthday dinner. The traffic made us 20 mins late unfortunately, but after 2 unanswered phone calls, we managed to let them know and they gracefully held our booking for us. The food was beautiful! Flavour combinations were perfectly matched just like I had seen & learnt from Yottolam’s masterclass. We cook a lot from his cookbooks at home in New Zealand. The octopus was beautiful, the pork, burrata salad, were all super tasty! The most disappointing part was the customer service. We were rushed through our dinner. When we arrived and were being seated, the maitre’d told us she would let us know if we had just 2 hours to eat our meal, or could we stay a little longer and enjoy our dinner?! We were still enjoying our mains, we hadn’t heard if we could stay past the 2 hours or not, suddenly the maitre’d returned, put the dessert menus in front of us and never mentioned ‘we would like the table returned by a certain time’. We had just ordered another bottle of wine and still had half to finish! Communication was terrible! We felt rushed and that we were a hassle! Food is expensive but delicious, but the service from the team let the night down. Would have purchased a signed cookbook to take home. Not as I had hoped for.

Very disappointed. Food underwhelming. We shared 5 dishes as advised way too much food! All plates were very salty and luke warm. Very expensive and not good value. I cannot recommend. Food was bland and not what I was expecting.

Top cuisine, good service - I think the wine selection is really overpriced, even for London, at least when it comes to the quality of the wines!!

We visited NOPI for a family 70th birthday and had a fantastic experience. Firstly the front of house and waiting staff were very accommodating for our newborn, warm and really knowledgeable about the menu. Then the food, our only problem was that it was all so good it was hard to pick our favourite. It was made even more special when chef Neil brought up an extra dessert off the menu which was a special touch. We'd highly recommend visiting and looking forward to coming back again in the near future.

Nopi London: A Culinary Gem I managed to snag a last-minute reservation at Nopi and ended up at the bar counter. Being on my own, I didn’t mind at all—it turned out to be a great spot to watch the action unfold. The food, as always, was phenomenal. Ottolenghi’s creative approach to mixing textures and flavors is unmatched, resulting in dishes that are both surprising and deeply satisfying. Every bite felt like a thoughtful exploration of ingredients, crafted with precision and flair. For me, Nopi is an absolute must-visit when in London, whether you’re a fan of Ottolenghi’s work or simply love exceptional food. Warm service, a buzzing atmosphere, and unforgettable dishes make it a standout experience every time.

We had a business lunch and were seated at a great corner table in the back of the restaurant, offering a comfortable and private setting. The staff was warm, attentive, and paid great attention to detail, making us feel truly welcome. To start, we shared the mixed platter, which was beautifully presented and full of fresh, flavorful selections. For the mains, we each had separate dishes, all of which arrived hot and were impeccably plated. The presentation was elegant, and the flavors were rich and authentic—every bite was a delight. I will definitely return to this restaurant. It’s a fantastic spot to enjoy exquisite Lebanese cuisine in the heart of London, perfect for both business and casual dining.

Magnificent experience in a restaurant that leaves you breathless from the moment you enter, with its imposing statues and wonderful frescoes. Nothing is left to chance, every detail is taken care of, from the rooms where you eat to the wonderful bathrooms inside which you can listen to classical music and the sounds of gladiators fighting. (I recommend going there for dinner, to better enjoy the more mystical atmosphere). The staff is extremely courteous and helpful with everything; I was served by a very kind Italian waiter, who even stopped to talk to me and my girlfriend about his work experience in London. The cuisine, even though we were not in Italy, pleasantly surprised me. In fact, I wanted to try the restaurant especially for its unique setting, but I must say that both the first and second courses were really good and presented in a sublime way. If you are in London, you absolutely must try this restaurant.

Un lugar fantástico para disfrutar de un cóctel o una cerveza, el personal era amable, pero haciendo un cóctel no tomar alrededor de 5 minutos.
