This place is set with the old kind of design, we order a Lamb chop it comes with the perfect cook. Very tender and juices as well. Great food here.

After looking at a lot of Paddington restaurants on my last holiday night I found this was the only place I fancied. My meal was good, more than generous and the service and cleanliness impressed me.

Мы один раз ужинали в этом ресторане и скажу я Вам готовят там супер. Мы заказали курочку и это было вкусно и сочно, ещё не в одном ресторане так умело не готовили птицу. Пряности шикарные. Десерты на высоком уровне.

Siamo finiti in questo locale poiché vicino al nostro hotel e perché ci ha subito colpito l'arredamento. Devo dire che siamo stati fortunati! Ho mangiato in questo ristorante a pranzo, con la sala quasi totalmente vuota, l'accoglienza è stata gentile e discreta, ho mangiato una zuppa di lenticchie e delle polpette di ceci e prezzemolo e delle fette di baclava. Il cibo era buono ed a prezzi convenienti.

Its a really good place with amazing food! Big like!! We took for the start a mix of salads is was really good! Then we took a sharing meat of lamb kabab and chicken and we been finished baklawa and tea! If i been living here i been coming here again for sure

The moment when my orange juice arrived and I realised it had been freshly squeezed for me I knew I'd found a 'real' Lebanese restaurant. The interior is rustic and pleasantly unpretentious but the main thing is the food - really delicious and completely in keeping with my expectations of Lebanese food. The staff were polite and attentive and the overall ambience was friendly - I will definitely eat here again and I recommend it for any fans of Lebanese/Mediterranean cuisine.

Ate here just after Christmas, had the mixed grill with the meze, plenty of food, you get two dishes, the meze first, which is a generous sized starter with a good selection of treats. Then the main turns up with the grilled chicken, lamb and beef, accompanied with rice. We really enjoyed the food, would go again, only drawback is no alcoholic drinks on the menu!

Siamo capitati per caso.. attratti dall'aspetto molto pulito.... mai provato prima la cucina libanese ... devo dire molto simile a quella turca....siamo stati ben consigliati dal cameriere (in verità era rumeno) ..e abbiamo mangiato veramente bene .. talmente bene che ci siamo ritornati un'altra sera per provare altre specialità! We ate here last Sunday (22nd November) as a party of 5. Having read previous reviews we were expecting something good but not this good. The Menu is extensive and you'll be spoilt for choice. The staff are very attentive and welcoming. The surroundings .and decor are quite unique and make a visit worthwhile. When the food came it was worth it - our table literally groaned with food all very well cooked and presented. This is is definitely on our repeat list.

One of the good Lebanese restaurants in this area. The hummus and warq in ab vine leaves were good as starters. The Barbecue grill was fresh and the side dips were great. Grape Sheesha after dinner with mint tea was great as well

Went to this restaurant for my daughters 18th birthday, the waitresses have the most miserable faces ever!! The food we ordered of the menu was not what came out of the kitchen! The chicken was so bland and hard was like eating my nails! Then the old waiter said the card machine is not working so we had to rally around and get cash for them, the worse restaurant and experience ever!!!!!! The staff definitely need customer service training!

This is a neighborhood restaurant with great traditional Lebanese food. It was the first time I ever tried Lebanese cuisine and it was delicious. The restaurant is really unique and if you ask for a table downstairs, it's even more amazing! There are tables for large parties or for a small group of 4. The owners are on site and took our order while offering recommendations. We were invited upstairs for tea and unique desserts which was complimentary. It was a great experience and well worth the price! I will definitely go back when we're in London again.

Friendly fast service. Food fine but nothing special. Huge portions. Massive amount of garlic (nice at the time, not so much the next day)!

First, none of the waiters wanted to serve us. Then we waited ages for our drinks (mint tea). When the starters finally came, I noticed our waiter walking up and down the restaurant with a plate in his hand, apparently not finding the right table. Two minutes later he came over to us and told us that our main course is ready - while we had just begun on our starters. We complained about this, but he assured us it would be fine and we could have it, "whenever we're ready". A couple minutes later we asked for our (shared) main course, and of course it was dry and half-cold already. The waiter told us he wasn't going to charge us for the main course, otherwise we would have sent it back. So we started to eat and eventually finished our plate. When the bill came, it turned out they had indeed charged us for the meal, but gave us 15% on the whole bill, and also didn't charge us a service fee. All in all it was more than they told us it would amount to, and they kept pointing out that we finished our "free" food so it "can't have been so bad". (Apparently that's the gold standard here - it's not THAT BAD!!) When we called the manager, he said the same. If we knew we would have to pay for the dry, already cooled off main course after they messed up our order, I would have made them do it again. It's also sad, because the food was alright, and had it been warm and on-time, it might have been actually good. But with the service being sooo bad, and them lying to us about not charging for the sub-par food, I can only recommend:Do NOT go there!!

We just walked into this restaurant as it was close to our hotel. It was such a nice experience. Interesting food and lovely decor. I strongly recommend this restaurant and don't miss the beautiful artifacts downstairs.

I tried a lamb sandwich and it was incredibly bland. No flavour at all. Really disappointing. Not a place I will return to. Nice outdoor seating but not enough to make up for the food.

My partner and I were looking for a quick quiet meal at about 830pm. To our demise, this restaurant was the only one open nearby that seemed to offer as much. After seeing they had sandwiches on the menu we checked with the staff if they were happy to serve us this. The man barely seemed to acknowledge I was speaking but nonetheless pointed to a table as if we should sit. Our orders were eventually taken and we were surprised that after clearly ordering 2 sandwiches and other items we received completely different things (main courses) and were charged the main course prices. Throughout the night I found the communication and overall service by 1 staff member in particular to be very subpar. The reason they got 2 stars and not 1 was because the food was at least edible.

Trying to offer English food (mainly with chips) rather than traditional which is why we went there to experience Lebanese cooking & no alcohol available. It is open late though until midnight, the other reason we went there.

What a lovely experience. We had a reservation for 12:00 but after my friend's flight was delayed for about an hour, I was waiting for her at London Paddington, I rang them and told them we will be later than scheduled. No problem, after someone who could speak to me in English was called to the phone. The same person on the phone was our server for the duration of our lunch. The service was outstanding, the food and atmosphere just lovely. I will definitely go there again and again. Can highly recommend this restaurant.

The restaurant is nice and very Lebanese in terms of its character and look, with building material imported for the restaurant from that country. Some of the food was good and many in our large group liked the Mango shake too. My Lamb Tikka was ok taste wise and over cooked. The service was not good which was disappointing. The female waitress did not understand what a vegan was which was frustrating for my friend, and we had to remind them a few times of things we ordered and they forgot. They also did not want us to split the bill and let some pay by card, which was not convenient and made it harder for us trying to pay the bill in cash, in a big group.

The food we ate was mediocre and I believe that the rice had been warmed up by the microwave. It wasn't what I had ecpected.

Beautiful food!!! We really loved this restaurant in Craven Road.I would recommend this. We ate as family and all of us loved the food.

ふらりと入ったホテル近くのレバノン料理の店。たまたまFast dayの最終日だったとのことで、選べるメニューが少なく、食べるものとしてはtabbulehというサラダとグリルドチキンのみを頼みました（あとは水とジュース）。日本人の口にも合う料理でした。ジュースはしぼりたてでたいへん美味でした。

Wrong order, not all drinks arrived, waitress seemed uninterested in serving or even working. Hope the service improves

Really quite a poor experience. We sat down and ordered our drinks and meals. 30 minutes later two out of five drinks arrived, and they told us that 75 percent of the food we ordered was not available. Spinach pies were doughy - and seemed to be fried from frozen. Greek salad was bizarre - consisting of lettuce, green onions, and yellow mustard. They told us they had been closed for 2 months and reopened today - they obviously opened too soon, and they need a menu consultant.

My wife and I ate at this restaurant in late April as it was handy to our Paddington hotel and also our liking of Lebanese cuisine. The decor enhanced the evenings experience and the price of the food was quite reasonable. We weren't disappointed with the menu choice or quality of the food; so much so that we went back there on our return to London a month later. Unfortunately the restaurant was closed and we were informed by a local business woman that there had been a fire in the kitchen. She said it was also her favourite place in the area for eating out.

A good filling meal with plenty of flavour. Liked the idea of the take your own alcohol. Staff were friendly and efficient.

Booked a group of 10 people but they canceled couple of days later due to problems in the Kitchen. Haven't been in contact or offered any good will gesture. Very dissapointed - clearly need more customer service training.

As a fan of Lebanese food, Assaha was literally based next door of my place, so I though I would give it a try as I heard so much about it. Prices were very fair and the portions really good. However, the taste did not satisfy me at all. Perhaps, it could be either the fact that after having eaten so much traditional Lebanese food (having visited Lebanon many times), I am now giving harsh comments for Assaha or the fact that I took my order for takeaway.

Avevo hotel in zona, sono passato davanti a questo ristorante libanese e ho avuto voglia di provare qualcosa di diverso. E ho fatto bene. Se vi piace sperimentare una cucina non scontata allora fate un salto qui. Ho preso un piatto a 17 sterline che prevedeva un'ottima Mousaka "vegetariana" con riso e incluse anche le mezze libanesi, ovvero un piatto con involtini, melitzanosalata (salsa di melanzane), hummus di ceci, falafel, da mangiare con una focaccina. Era tutto ottimo. Ed ero talmente pieno che non ce l'ho fatta a provare i dolci. Unica avvertenza: se venite qui scordatevi di poter ordinare alcool (quindi nemmeno birra), solo acqua e bevande "lisce". Il che rende anche il conto finale molto friendly.

Picked this restaurant due to the beautiful interior and cultural reflection as it is quite traditional and warm. However I cannot say the same about the food. Our expectations were raised but the results were not as expected. The food portions were very small compared to the price paid, the presentation was disappointing and the taste was bland. For the amount of people and price paid we would have expected a much more generous portions and presentation. The waiters present tried their best to ensure we were served quickly however we do not hold them responsible as having only two waiters present in the company of a large group is not ideal and the supervisor was nowhere to be found. It would have been great if the supervisor was available to ensure we were provided with what was promised or agreed on. With all this, we continued our meals and left. I could say the only thing really appealing about the restaurant is its decoration and design, the rest is quite disappointing not to mention the portions provided in comparison to the price to bePaid is outrageous.

Great food and service, deco is also fab, never eaten Lebanese cuisine before, this has definitely made me want more.

Vi har ikke erfaring med libanesisk mat, men har kresne ganer. Maten på Assaha var bra men ikke en kulinarisk opplevelse. Miljøet er utrolig koselig og det er også god service. Vi kan anbefale en tur på denne restaurant.

The food was amazing. Healthy, quick, lots of it, and tasty. Loved it. The decor was fab too, very authentic and you felt as though you'd been whisked off to the middle east!I mark it down from a 5* very begrudgingly - simply because the waitress didn't really explain the orders properly, so didn't get quite what we were expecting... plus the music was a bit depressing!! But, all round, top middle eastern cuisine - recommended - and I'll visit again.

We went last week for dinner and we were absolutely satisfied and surprised about the quality and taste of the food we tried. Delicious!

Was a bit trepidatious after reading some other reviews, but I thought this place was great. Food was tasty, especially the Mezze. Lamb in the mixed grill was cooked perfectly medium rare. Delicious food, presentation and service superb, ambience of restaurant very special, bought us complimentary lentil soup and baklava to finish, Total came to £20 per head with water which was reasonable for the Paddington area. Really enjoyable - The whole experience was really authentic with a good choice of starters and mains and not to mention dessert. The first impression upon entering the restaurant was positive as it was clean, well presented and friendly. As a restaurant I would recommend it and will definitely return.Overall, the eating experience was a very good one. Food came out quickly and it had the freshest ingredients I'd had for a long time.

The waiter was slow, although the restaurant was empty, we waited a long time for our meal, and than the food was not fresh, not tasty. All culminated with an old hard pitta. When we complained, we got another old bred, warmed in a microwave oven! The only positive thing was a mint tea. We absolutely do not recommend a visit there!!

Locale carino arredato di buon gusto, ma semplice, personale cordiale e non abituato (credo) ai turisti, buono anche il menù. Il cibo è buono come buono i piatti arabi (con pietanze anche di altri paesi), poi ci hanno invitato a vedere i locali sottostanti, si scende una piccola scale e si apre una visione sorprendente. Un mondo nascosto di un gusto ed una raffinatezza notevole interamente ricostruito con pietre, arredi ed oggetti libanesi antichi e non. Sono rimasto folgorato. Un'attrazione a Londra fuori circuito!

We decided to visit this place after reading the many good reviews left on this site. We were deeply confused as to what the fuss was about. The restaraunt was sub par at most. The only saving grace of this restaraunt was the decor. When we arrived, we asked to sit downstairs and were told it was closed. After seated, we realised a larger party was taken downstairs to be seated. Also, the waiters were frazzled most of the time and seemed very inexperienced. They didn't know what the orders consisted of and messed up our orders. The food itself was very bland and the portions were very very small. Too small for the price they charge. The meats were dry and the hummus wasn't fresh. Poor Lebanese food. Will not be coming back.

Was in London on business trip and had dinner here. Restaurant was empty except for one other table (bad sign, but we decided to stay).Food was delayed terribly (took 20-30min) even though restaurant was virtually empty. Was told they were having "kitchen issues", whatever that meant.When we did get our food, it was mediocre to awful.Rule #1 of restaurants: if it's not busy, there's a reason.

Nous sommes allé manger à midi dans ce restaurant, il y faisait froid et nous avons du manger avec notre veste... Nous avons signalé qu'il faisait froid et il y a eu un semblant de chaleur qui est arrivé un court instant...Nos plats ne sont pas arrivés en même temps, 10 minutes de décalage et nous avons du demander pour avoir du pain...Le serveur était aussi froid que son établissement...La nourriture était moyenne, pour le même prix, nous avons déjà mangé meilleur dans d autres restaurants libanais...

The place was recommended to me by my friend to have a full Halal English breakfast (served only before noon). The set cost only £4.50, and we were served with a complimentary basket of bread. Breakfast was nothing special, the basics, but was really nice :) Liked the atmosphere. We were the only ones in the restaurant, at 11 AM on a Sunday, so service was quick too.

Took this restaurant based on the good reviews. I expexted something mind blowing Lebanese flavors, but I got very traditional Lebanese food. No alcohol service. Nice atmosphere. Decoration supports quick stay so do not expect any privacy. Even if my comments spark a bit of disappointment I can recommend this place to test Lebanese food. You can take multiple portions and share them easily with members.

Went with partner and baby. Food acceptable but they tried to charge us for a dish we didn't have and were extremely rude about it. If certain dishes take longer to cook it would be polite to let the customer know when ordering! The staff were some of the most unpleasant human beings we've ever encountered. They should be ashamed of themselves.

Despite being jet lagged from the long trip from Singapore, my son and i were determined to have a good meal before we retired for the night. And we were rewarded....Having stumbled upon the restaurant, we did not have high expectations. The staff were very welcoming and recommended us the hummus, falafel, tabouleh, some warm pita bread and a lebanese mezze mixed grill platter with rice. Everything was unbelievably delicious. At first we thought we over ordered (we did!!), but ended up ordering again and took the leftovers home for breakfast!!

Assaha offers really nice basic Lebanese food with affordable prices. Food is no-nonsense and I find that really nice actually - you get what you expect. I have eaten here couple of times and food has always been satisfactory - not magical but good and fresh. If you are in the area and you have a taste for Lebanese food I can definitely recommend this restaurant.

Le serveur (très classe) nous a fait préparer un mezzé entièrement végétalien très bon avec tous les plats de ce type disponible à la carte. Nous en avons eu pour 60 Pounds pour 5 personnes adultes, et avons eu de la peine à finir !

No alcohol is served here, but this is one heck of a good place to eat. The interior is very well presented in the style of a Lebanese villa and in my opinion is well done . The service is excellent, well attended, friendly and punctual. The food is good honest Lebanese food, such as Mezze falafel etc. Try some of the less trodden paths, especially the starters. Here you will find great dishes you've not seen before, traditional and great tasting.The prices are reasonable (£4.50 for a starter and about £18 for a main).The lemonade is home made and great, you won't miss the alcohol. Have it with mint for extra adventure!Don't miss this place, I have been twice and I love it.Mark.

In London for a few nights we chanced upon this when we got lost on the way to our hotel. And we're very pleased we did. The restaurant service was excellent and the meals tasty, authentic and good size portions. My partner and I shared a meze platter and the half chicken and chips, which was plenty enough for a generous supper.

Die gemischten libanesischen Mezze waren unglaublich lecker und sind absolut zu empfehlen. Die Portionen sind groß. Alkohol wird nicht ausgeschenkt. Das Erfrischungsgetränk mit frischer Minze und Zitronensaft ist sehr gut. Das Restaurant war auch von vielen Libanesen besucht, was ja meist für authentische Küche spricht. Das Personal war sehr freundlich.

Non so come sia la vera cucina libanese, ma in questo ristorante ho mangiato talmente bene che ci sono tornata altre due volte.

An excellent restaurant overall. Fantastic theatre with very efficient service. The staff are unobtrusive, and very efficient- though to some they might come across as unfriendly. This is absolutely not the case as I have been here many times. the consistency of the food is very good. The prices are very sensible and of course they do not sell alcohol. I highly recommend it.

Todo está buenísimo y la camarera es un encanto. La sopa de lentejas, el hummus, los falafel. Los pastelitos de hojaldre son una delicia. Lástima que no sirvan alcohol.

Stimmiges Lokal, aufmerksames Personal, die Speisen sind frisch und von guter Qualität, kein langes Warten. Dass in einem arabisch geführten Restaurant kein Alkohol ausgeschenkt wird, sollte man akzeptieren und nicht als Negativpunkt anführen. Ich würde wieder hingehen, wenn ich in der Nähe wäre.

Premetto che non conosco la cucina libanese e quindi non posso dire quanto sia vicina a quella originale. Il posto è davvero bello e riproduce l'interno di una casa mediorientale. Il personale è molto gentile e ci ha subito trovato un tavolo. Abbiamo preso il pasto completo che si compone di un antipasto tipico (il mezze) ricco e saporito e da un arrosto di carne (ci sono varie opzioni, noi abbiamo scelto pollo e agnello) servito con salsa e riso. Le porzioni sono abbondanti e non c'è il rischio di alzarsi da tavola a stomaco vuoto. Il prezzo è onesto e comunque nella media di Londra. Da non perdere la limonata alla menta come suggerito da altre recensioni.

The meal was delicious with a nice variety of food on your plate. There was even enough for left overs for a late night snack. The restaurant is nicely decorated with stonewalls and arches, very clean, service was excellent.

The food was ok. The service was horrible. We seemed to wait forever while they were trying to figure out who was going to take our order, and then who took our order. We really would have liked an alcoholic beverage, but they are not served here.

this is my first experience about the arabic style food the environment the style of the restaurant the seating the light everything it's really impressive. and nice staff with nice uniform thank you all for this best moment.

Excellent value for money and bigger portions than needed. Ordered fish with side salad and got 2 portions of seabass. Staff very helpful and not too pushy.

Eat most of my main meals in this restaurant and drink the Lebanese coffee throughout my stay in London.We enjoyed the restaurant in a quiet family and comfortable atmosphere for the one week duration of our stay.Highly recommended for those who like the arabic food.

Me and my wife stayed in a hotel close by this restaurant. They have good breakfast selection, especially for an arab like myself, the staff are freindly, the food is what one can expect as far as arabic food goes. Nice coffee, english breakfast, humos, grils , taboolah, kipah, etc. One thing I didn't like is that some days it opened late. I don't know why. You should also know that they are serving sheesha out side of the restaurant. I will definitely come back to it if I stayed close by again

I popped in for a breakfast with my wife and everything about it was great! Freshly squeezed orange juice, nice food and the guy who served us was really nice and friendly!

Excellent location. 2 mins stroll from Paddington. Beautiful decor. Clean. Comfy. Unfriendly staff. Average food quality. The food reminded me of chain restaurant food. Decent prices.

A warm and welcoming Lebanese restaurant with a nice ambience. Enjoy delicious fresh juices and home made lemonade with a sharp kick, mint teas and traditional coffee, no booze here.The pita bread is warm and soft and delicious with Hummus, the main course grills came with plenty of meat, rice and a bread with a lovely topping. So if you are hungry, you won't be disappointed. My recommendation would be to pick a main that has mixed meats or kebabs, as the single variety option we found was just too much of all one meat. Or select different dishes and share. The evening I went there was an option to have the meze starter and selected main courses for a fixed price.Great food for sharing and a relaxed service no rush to make you leave.

Although we had already ate dinner and were accompanying them we did order Mint tea, Avocado and Honey Drink and a plate of Hummus (which was to die for). They ordered a meat platter of some sorts and were thoroughly pleased and enjoying their meal. Service was also great. Would recommend this place for sure and the price was really reasonable too!

There are enough vegetarian dishes to ensure that you won't leave the restaurant hungry. How do they make such soft pita bread? The staff is in no hurry to get you the bill and usher you out. The decor downstairs is unbelievable! It's a wonderful place for a large party, and the food is really cheap and tasty.

Ambiente ben curato, menù tipico e molto vario, prezzi onesti. Il locale si trova nei pressi di diversi Hotel - zona Puddington. Ottimo anche per cene di lavoro. Sinceramente anche economico. Consiglio vivamente!!

In una atmosfera accogliente che ricrea un villaggio libanese tradizionale si posso gustare piatti autentici a un prezzo accettabile per gli standard di londra (circa 40 sterline in due). In questo locale non sono serviti alcolici ma potrete sorseggiare frullati e succhi freschissimi. Per un pasto sano e gustoso, per chi non conosce la cucina libanese e vuole sperimentarla e per chi la conosce e non vuole restare deluso....consigliatissimo. facilmente raggiungibile con la metro (fermata paddington) e una breve passeggiata.

Premessa non avevo mai mangiato Libanese, il ristorante e molto carino e tipico. Il cibo e ottimo! Ho preso il lebanese meza che sarebbe l antipasto ottimo e abbondante basterebbe da solo! Poi mixed grill con vari tipi di carne anche questo ottimo! Da bere non servono alcolici e consiglio limonata con menta ! Prezzo......15 pounds!!! Da rifare!!!

la scorsa settimana eravamo a Londra, dalla parti di Notting Hill, e visto il locale abbiamo voluto provarlo.personale gentilissimo, dal quale ci siamo fatti consigliare, cibo veramente buono (mix di antipasti libalesi, mix di carni e verdure, bibita di limone e menta, etc.). bello il locale, nel tipico stile mediterraneao-arabo, ma se ci passate chiedete di visitare il piano interrato, rimarrete molto piacevolmente sorpresi.il prezzo? per essere a Londra direi quasi irrisorio, 70£ in 4 persone!

Trovato per caso, non avevamo mai mangiato libanese, il cameriere ci ha gentilmente consigliato cosa prendere. Cibo ottimo (abbiamo preso antipasto e grigliata), non servono alcolici ma la limonata alla menta è da provare ! I dolcetti al miele accompagnati dal te alla menta sono una chicca. Fantastico anche il posto, sopratutto la sala inferiore che usano principalmente per cerimonie e sala da te e che gentilmente ci hanno fatto visitare. E infine il rapporto qualità prezzo, meno di 20 pounds a testa che per i prezzi standard di Londra non sono affatto molti.

Went for a family meal to celebrate a birthday. The staff were very welcoming and the place was very clean tidy very well presented. The meal was served quickly and the service was very good. The advice by staff was good and the meal was well presented, nice portions and well prepared.

Everything is in the title. The products are high quality, the food is sooo delicious and waiters are just awsome. My husband and I are fans of lebanese food and we finally found a wonderful restaurant. A shame we dont live in London!

In una zona piena di pessimi ristoranti italiani, di cinesi che vendono riso alla cantonese al prezzo del tartufo, come un'oasi nel deserto un posto che può vantare un rapporto qualità prezzo invidiabile. Cuoco ottimo, cucina a vista, posto molto curato nella pulizia e un arredamento molto originale. Da provare.

We were unsure what to order so asked waiter for recommendations. He was very helpful. Good tasty spicy food. Will return here next time we are in London.
