Un lugar fantástico para disfrutar de un cóctel o una cerveza, el personal era amable, pero haciendo un cóctel no tomar alrededor de 5 minutos.

Had a lovely lunch with friends. Food was good and they were very aware of everything we ordered. On the pricey side but good quality.

Seems like a bit of an issue from other reviews. Shame really, so many places you can eat. Main front of house service was awful, won't go back. Just didn't seem interested and for gods sake smile. Goats cheese salad was pretty good!

He estado en Rocket muchas veces y siempre me encantó el ambiente y la comida. El surf es especial y ensalada turf siempre cocinadas a la perfección y las pizzas son recién hecho y delicioso. El menú de cócteles y vinos tiene algo para todo el mundo, y mi favorito es el sauvignon blanc de Nueva Zelanda - siempre helada y sólo quieres tener más yummmmmmmmmmm! ! ! ! El personal es profesional y amable y se desviven por cuidar. Hay mesas afuera, pero como es literalmente al lado de la red - Ruta de Bishopsgate, no exactamente relajante aunque Estupendo para fumadores.

La comida está bien pero el servicio es bastante normal.

Esta crítica no es sobre la comida porque no llegamos a esa parte. Decidimos ir allí para un almuerzo de trabajo, ya que tienen esta zona para sentarse fuera, que era soleado. Nos sentamos allí durante 20 minutos y no te molestes en tomar nuestra orden. Uno de nosotros tuvo que trajeran y entrar y pedir que alguien tome nuestro pedido. Curiosamente, no son no sólo disculpas, lo único que me dijo fue - Estamos cortos de personal.

Comimos en un concurrido sábado pero eficiente personal significa que no podemos esperar a que nos sentaran o han tomado nuestros pedidos. Ambos elegimos inusual de pescado y ensaladas - ensalada con trocitos de carne asada y uno con hidromasaje. Grandes porciones y a un precio muy razonable. Mezcla de ambiente animado de gente joven y amenidad los grupos familiares. Buen servicio, buena comida y a un precio razonable, así que sin duda volveremos a visitar.

No sé por qué estoy tan sorprendido, pero era un almuerzo mucho mejor de lo que esperaba :)

Fuimos aquí como mi novio y había ganado una competencia para una comida gratis en un restaurante broadgate. No nos decepcionó y la comida estaba deliciosa! Fuimos un lunes, así que era bastante tranquilo, pero el servicio era estupendo y la comida llegó rápidamente. Sin duda, lo recomendaría a otros para visitar ya que es razonable para un restaurante de Londres y lo más probable es que visite de nuevo!

Group of 9, it took about half an hour from ordering our drinks to getting them, nothing special here.. some wine and lots of beers.. Thankfully the food made the wait worthwhile .. nice starters , filling mains, overall 7/10

Paying 14 quid for a small, average tasting burger and a few sweet potato fries was bad enough but the level of incompetency of the staff dealing with a complaint from one of our party was something to behold. After ordering "Butterfly King Prawns & Smoked Black Pudding Pizza" it was somewhat disappointing to see what actually turned up. Tiny shrimps rather than king prawns that had been butterflied. When this was pointed out to staff, arguments followed. One seemed to think a butterfly prawn was a type of prawn. Another argued that it was the suppliers fault (which didn't add up since another member of our party had large king prawns that had been butterflied) I found the staff to be quite rude and disinterested. It took ridiculous conversations with 3 members of staff before they reluctantly agreed to change the dish. Ive not seen customer service quite so bad in such a place. To add insult to injury the waitress then took away 2 unfinished drinks from us. Much better places to eat in the area. Avoid

Some of my friends' meals were okay but I ordered the butterfly king prawn and black pudding pizza. What arrived was a pizza with tiny non-butterfly prawns on. Waiting staff then arguing about what a butterfly prawn was, insisting it was a type of prawn. Then they just said "that is how it arrives to us, the ingredients come in a pack" as if I should care about how their meals are prepared (not to mention showing they aren't really a proper kitchen). To add insult to injury someone else's meal had huge butterfly king prawns on it. They did replace it in the end but it took 3 increasingly senior staff members to get to that stage and a lot of arguing. Not impressed.

Starters were delicious, I had seafood and salad, no problem with the length of time to get served as it was cold. For the mains, they struggled getting all dishes out of the kitchen, and rather than asking who wanted the items they were calling us by name - never come across that before , it took an age. Vegs were raw and cold (al dente in the extreme). Most unappetizing. But desserts were good!

I had a Christmas lunch at Rocket. The private room was very nice but the food was poor. The service was friendly and efficient.

It's a nice place and good service,but unfortunately the food did disappoint. I have never left a dessert almost untouched before.

As a bar absolutely fine but dinner absolutely no way. The beef and chip salad was laughable as was the fish and chip salad. The beef was delicious but the sauce over the chips was horrible.

I go to Rocket Bishopsgate pretty often and usually have a good experience. This week I had the burger and unfortunately it wasn't fully cooked. Whether my digestive system problems that followed are directly attributable is impossible to prove. However, burgers need to be cooked through (unlike a steak). Here's why - microbes that cause disease sit on the surface of meat. With steaks etc they are killed because the outer part gets a sufficient level of heat during cooking. In the case of minced products (burgers) this is then mixed into the meat during the mincing process (so when undercooked the microbes in the middle of the burger survive the process). Burgers which are red in the middle cause a public health risk. Cook your burgers through please in future. I share some of the blame for knowingly continuing to eat the burger in question but it was not convenient to complain since I was at a business lunch.

Very welcoming, friendly and efficient staff. Plenty of choice on the menu. Starters were quite nice, we had thai crab cakes and mackerel salad, well-presented and a nice size for a starter. For mains we had swordfish and chef's cheese salad. These were ok, but there was rather a lot of salad leaves and too much dressing on the salad. The desserts come in two sizes which is unusual and a really great idea, you can have a small piece of dessert and a coffee for £5, which suits us as we often don't order dessert as we are too full. Overall, we enjoyed the meal, but won't be rushing back, as the food was nothing special.

Came here with 3 other colleagues, we thoroughly enjoyed the food and cocktails. Pron star martini was great. Food is fairly quick, modern interior. I will certainly return again.

1st and only time eating here. Friendly staff but dreadful undercooked doughy pizzas. We cut our losses and went to Carluccios instead where the pizza was so much better and cheaper!

Staff were great. Had two courses of the special: trout for £16. Was alright food but nothing stellar. Music was blaring out EDM/House/Major Lazer on a Wednesday evening which ruined the vibe!It was an alright meal but I wouldn't go again.

Stopped here with some friends during a late night out. Great cocktails and a nice looking room. I'm sure it's a lively place for lunch and after work.I managed to misplace my ID that night. Having no idea where I dropped it I was relieved when the Manager looked me up on social media and contacted me. What a relief! Thank you for going above and beyond. I'll never forget this place and will definitely return.

Food was amazing and really reasonable prices. 1 sharing starter, 4 pizzas, 4 cocktails and 2 bottles of wine for £110. Pizza was great and the service was very good. Didn't rush you out and made sure they put our happy hour order in by saying he would come back for food order so he could get the drinks through the system before 8. Nice atmosphere in restaurant as well.

Popped into this place on a Thursday at 1.30am and they were turning tables - and managed to squeeze us in. A pizza (chorizo and pepperoni) and a salad and a bottle of Gavi de Gavi for £31 - what's not to love. Good food, great atmosphere and this is a definite for a lunch with friends and colleagues.

Hosted my 30th birthday party here in the Mezzanine Bar - the staff couldn't have been more helpful and friendly and the room is a really nice space. Long drinks menu and people can order food as they please. Highly recommend for an event!

Some good wines on the list and the pizza is good. Not your usual flavours but good.Service is fine. Nothing to complain about a minor thing about the outside table cleanliness, that's all.

Stopped off here to get out of the rain. It was really great in that it was warm peaceful yet had a great atmosphere. Prices were ok and the service top banana. They have a really well thought out dinning room too so I wished we had tried it rather than opt for Pizza East which wasn't so great and so noisy. Nice one. Will be back.

We stopped by here last Saturday night around 9pm, mainly to get out of the rain on our way back to the station. It was a nice surprise! There were several free tables to choose from, with drink and food menus; we only wanted drinks which were ordered from and brought to our table. Service was efficient, the music not too loud so we could talk, and the loos were clean! Would drop in again when next passing.

Read a few review saying how good the food was but that the service wasn't great. We visited on a Friday lunchtime and both the food and service were excellent.There were a few tables in but the service was very friendly and very prompt. I had the swordfish and it was amazing.I would definately book here again.

Good menu - good location. Should be perfect for a business lunch. However, lacked ambience and atmosphere, dark lighting in the middle of the day and service slow despite the restaurant being virtually empty. When the servers spoke to you it was very business like and no attempt to engage in friendly banter. I think it's geared up for being a place to go for drinks after work. Canary Wharf branch far superior in lunch ambience and service.

I would recommend this restaurant for a group of friends.

It was the first time that I booked this restaurant for my boss as he wanted to try a different place. He was very pleased with everything, from the location, the atmosphere (not noisy and easy to have a business conversation) and the most important the food choices. Overall this is now one of our dedicated restaurant.

Attended a birthday party at this restaurant Saturday 14th March 7pm, parking nearby (free), as this was a party this was in the upstairs private room and YES they have a lift for disabled or young parents with babies.Staff were very attentive, food was presented very well and tasted fabulous. I had the Lamb starter, Steak and sticky toffee pudding which was not to my taste, had a beautiful glass of red wine and a cocktail.Enjoyed this restaurant so much I will be returning on Saturday for my grandson's party

We were a group of 6 couples looking for somewhere to meet up for dinner near Liverpool Street.I tried a few restaurants closer to Shoreditch but we wanted somewhere we could hear other talk without too much background noise or loud music. We eventually chose The Rocket.We booked the table a week in advance and they rang me on the day to confirm we were coming. We arrived and the table was ready for us. We ordered some pre dinner drinks and it was a little haphazard. They missed out my G&T a big mistake :-)Most of us ordered a starter and a main course. I ordered Thai fishcakes which were ok but were a little soggy. Surely they should be crisp! My wife had a salmon main course which was very good. I had the harissa lamb and courgette kebab with couscous which was ok but you can get more flavour from a packet variety of couscous.Most of the group thought the food was ok without being exceptional. Two of the group had the beef burger but they left most of it because it was too dry. If it had been my restaurant I would have asked why they had left their food and done something about.The staff were friendly enough but the experience was not good enough for us to return bearing in mind the bill was £50 a head.

You HAVE to go here and you MUST have the steak salad. It is simply phenomenal and should I go back I won't even bother looking at the rest of the menu. A fantastic dinner washed down beautifully by a varied drinks menu.

Visited the Rocket Saturday night, food was good, drinks were light and unfortunately service lacked timeliness, with 12.5% service charge they should be more attentive to customers.

Came for drinks with my friend from Devon- we were walking past when we noticed the happy hour deal which was outstanding value for money. Inside, the staff were welcoming and wonderful, going above and beyond to help us charge our phones and, in the case of Area GM Clara, helping us find the best spots to continue our night. Great atmosphere, really unique and attractive design and an excellent experience overall.

The food in this place is amazing, the quality, the choice, it's great.However the staff act like you are in a chic restaurant where only presidents come and you have to literally almost beg them to please come and serve your table.

Went in for brunch on a Saturday because this was close to our hotel. It was pretty empty so we thought we'd have no problem getting a quick bite to eat but as soon as we walked in staff seemed confused as to what to do with us. It then took about 30 minutes before anyone came to ask if we wanted something to drink and another 15 before we could order. It then took 30 minutes for our glass of juice to arrive even though there weren't that many customers and the waitress stood at the table next to us talking to friends and serving them promptly while we waited. Anytime we tried to get a waitresses attention they would look past us and walk the other way to give them the benefit of the doubt they may have just not noticed. It did seem the other waitress was rushing around to make up for the non service of the other. Lucky for us the food was descent. The breakfast pizza was huge. Would just have like the staff to be a little friendlier and on the ball.

We made a booking for midweek night for a party of 6. Arrived and shown to our table in a fairly uncrowded place and were given a booth that the 3 of us struggled to fit in. I was feeling claustrophobic and asked to move and we were given a regular table thankfully. The place didn't fill up so it wasn't as it was wasted but the booths shouldn't hold more than 4 people comfortably. As for the food, I had some sort of chicken snitchel salad. Crumbed flattened chicken breast with loads of rocket, cheese, tomato and balsamic dressing on top. Not what I imagined. One of my friends had a pizza with black pudding on it and felt sick all night after it. I want to find a pizza place that does "traditional" toppings, ie not chicken, offal or salad please.There was very little on the menu that I found appealing. Even something as simple as a burger is served on a poncy board instead board instead of plate. The burger may have been fine, but I really hate wooden and slate boards being used for to service an personal meal (fine as a sharing platter). It just smacks to me of some gimmick like drinks in mason jars. I found the price of desserts overpriced. I had the affagato so at least I got coffee and ice cream. However the waitress brought the ice cream and we watched it melt while we waited for the coffee. Which didn't come until we reminded her. This isn't a place I will return to by choice again.

Visited late in the evening with a group of colleagues and even though we knew it was close to closing time (due to lack of customers on this particular evening), we were accommodated and attended to by a very pleasant lady.Most of our party had starters followed by pizza of some description and everyone of us commented on the great quality of the food.Although perhaps a little rushed, the whole experience was very positive and if in this area again, will definitely pop in.

Visited on a Tuesday night on the way home from dinner, for a drink and a quick rest off our feet.Nice enough place, ordered a bottle of prosecco and enjoyed it! A little devoid of atmosphere, but I think that's more to do with the night of the week. I imagine it would be good on a busy weekend.

Had late lunch with a friend and whilst very tasty, seemed expensive, even for central London. Courgette tempura was pretty special though and good drinkable Malbec.

I booked a table for ten for my birthday and was pleasantly surprised to find, upon our arrival, that it was 2 for 1 cocktails until 7. Some of us got there early (5:30) so we took full advantage of this offer. The cocktails were tasty but a tad sweet for my liking. Nevertheless, I consumed at least three so they can't have been awful ;).From the get-go, the service was excellent. Our table was attended to promptly, all requests and orders were fulfilled quickly and I was quite spoilt, being the birthday girl after all. The food was superb - they had a special starter of Coconut Squid and it was awesome. I wish they would make it a regular feature. Their pizzas are great but the food outdid most of us. Very generous portions and well priced as well.I was absolutely delighted with how well my birthday dinner went. Thank you, Rocket! I will make you a regular dining place :)

Chance passing and decided to stop for a cocktail! Contemporary decor and as expected busy for a Friday early evening. We tried a Bloody Mary and a rhuby's kiss which comprised of rhubarb vodka lemon sugar and a egg white. Extremely tasty! Still managed to get a table even though busy. Great music and atmosphere.Good clean toilets which is always a bonus!

Only stopped for one cocktail but what we had was lovely ... roughly £10 a cocktail.Had good music playing and not too loud so just right.Would definitely return.

I have been here twice now. Both times are swift with the Service and the portions are very generous. The staff are friendly and will even recommend food and drinks. Will most certainly be making this a regular choice when in the City

great drinks, great food, great service. would go back for sure. we ordered a pulled pork pizza and a huge salad....got a great bottle of wine. their outdoor area was full of people for happy hour but we were seated quickly and the service was great.

Attended the place for lunch yesterday. Very busy with office types so reservations recommended. Modern healthy Lebanese. Mains are plenty to eat so be prepared. Check was quite reasonable overall. I'll have to come back for the desserts which I didn't have room for.

Had lunch with colleagues here today and have left with mixed feelings about the restaurant;but what I am sure about is that I thought it was expensive/ over priced.I had pizza: it was ok, quite large, fairly tasy, but not cooked enough as a real Italian pizza should be (I am Italian myself and have had very many excellent pizzas over the years).Whilst it won't offend you if you tried it, you'll easily forget you did - there again you may not as pizzas here do not come cheap - my margherita was £9.40!The decor I can only describe as modern/ eclectic, others might think the interior designer had too many ideas and did not know which one to choose. Tables near the windown are super bright, those at the back of the restaurant are quite dark.Food presentation was nice, my colleague's Chicken Milanese was actually quite good and a very large portion - worth bearing in mind though that mains are in excess of £13/£14, so price wise quite high, especially for lunch.I also had a chocolate brownie with ice cream, which was very nice but also cost £6. Service was ok, professional, if not warm or particularly engaging.Overall, if you book or are thinking of booking, go for it, you'll enjoy it, just don't expect a memorable meal or a cheap lunch. After a 15% corporate discount, for a margherita, a brownie and some sparkling water I spent £20.

I was treated by a colleague to lunch here on a Friday. Service was courteous and prompt. There were plenty of selection for dishes and I had a hard time making a decision. My starter was the breaded king prawns which was just perfect. It was juicy, crispy on the outside and the mango dressing was sweet and tangy. My main on the other hand was little disappointing, maybe smoked chicken just wasn't my cup of tea. I thought all the other accompaniments sounded really amazing but somehow it just lacked in flavour for me. My colleague did really well, he went for the steak and chips salad and I had a try, it was so flavourful. Medium rare, just the way I like it and the dressing that went with it, you just couldn't fault it. But I did think the portion sizes are huge and left feeling really stuffed. I can wait to go back again.

Great little reatsurant and bar quite trendy. Perfect food and large portions - most of my friends left half of their food because they were stuffed. You don't often get that in a city restaurant!! Great night

Love eating here, the staff are friendly and the calzones are amazing, as are the blackened prawns when they have them on the menu. It's also great value for money and in a great location. Highly recommend!

We had a mid week lunch, the food came quickly and was excellent.The menu and the wine list was extensive and reasonably priced.The décor was interesting with the tea cups as light shaded, plates on the wall and also the 'Space invader' stairway.

Great food great atmosphere and made a good impression. Signature dish of rare steak salad was worth every penny . Wil meet here again.

My fiance and I held our engagement drinks party for friends in September 2014 at Rocket Bishopsgate. It was an excellent venue for the 60 or so of us who attended. The bar staff were very helpful and the room was fantastic for such an event.Many thanks indeed to everyone at Rocket Bishopsgate and especially to Clara-Louise for helping me organise this. The cost of hosting this event for friends was very low indeed (at the time, a set amount that we needed to spend on the night which we did).

Always a bit wary of Central London Bar/Restaurants around Christmas time, however this place was spot on.Just a short walk from Liverpool Street Station, which is very convenient.The interior is very smart, especially like the space Invaders on the stairs. The staff were very attentive. We have a great table in the corner so we were able to chat despite the numerous Christmas Parties that were taking place.Food Wise.........Starters - not great, I had the Chorizo and Haloumi Kebab, not very good quality. My friends Calamari was okay.Mains - Great, a couple of us had the Rocket Calzone which was spot n, another friend had the pulled Pork Pizza, again very good.Desserts - LOVELY, I had the cheesecake which was amazing and friends enjoyed the crumble.Wine - Red and Rose very good.To sum it up, stick to the Pizzas and dessert.Would definitely visit again, at no point did we feel we were being rushed out, like so many places do at this time of year. A trendy buzzy bar restaurant with amazing food. We had the rocket burger and a prawn and black pudding pizza sounds mad but was delicious. Food was cooked quickly in an open kitchen large portions and plenty of attention from friendly staff as and when needed. Comfortable booths to sit in and plenty of space between tables. Will certainly be going back to try another pizza.

My family and I have eaten at a few Rocket restaurants. This one has a stylish setting with attractive decor and lighting. The service was highly attentive. However, the food was a bit disappointing on this occasion - in our opinion the pizza had far too much cheese. Although some people may like this, it was not to our liking.

Went along with 5 friends on a Friday evening. The atmosphere was great, the service friendly and welcoming and the food excellent.

A large group of us booked a private room for a team meal after work. The service was fine, but none of us thought the food was particularly impressive, nor were we keen on the menu choice. A bit odd. Some of it definitely seemed reheated - my lamb kofta starters, for instance. Pizza a little too soggy.That said, the brownie & ice-cream dessert was lovely, and a generous portion.It may be different if ordering off the a la carte, but I'd not book here for a large meal again, sadly.

Met here for cocktails with friends before going out for a meal. Very busy as you'd expect for a Friday night. It was quite loud, which was awkward when trying to socialise. Cocktails were pricey (as you'd expect in London), but tasty and original.

Came here for a lunch with work colleagues. We found the service good, the food was nice - and the portions were huge. 2 large fish cakes with salad. Huge calzone, big (and interesting) salads. It was a good choice of restaurants as there was something for everyone on the menu.

Samedi soir ce restaurant accueillait un DJ qui animait la soirée, du coup c'était un peu bruyant mais si on aime la musique c'est plutôt sympa. La clientèle est jeune et branchée. Nos pizzas étaient très bonnes. Le service rapide et le personnel agréable.En revanche j'ai voulu tenter le crumble (pensant en garder un souvenir "so british") mais j'ai été bien déçue...le plat était servi froid et les fruits pas assez cuits...

I went for a work event, so this was not my choice. I know the area well, so the fact that 500 yards north/east we could have dinned in the wide variety of East London's wonderful cuisine offering, made it hurt all that much more.The food tastes like how the British thought New York food tasted in the early 90's. Everything was a little shiny (the food that is, sauces etc). I had fried squid, which tasted like it had gone from freezer to oil and left to suck up all the oil and came dark brown (with a shiny sweet chilli sauce), tuna for main, which was a large portion and a good steak, but came with three mounds of mayo. It is not the standard you expect at that price point. Clientele was the drunk overflow from the city and lost tourists. It's a tough location.My advise, don't go, walk up the road to Shoreditch High Street and go to hoi polloi or the many places around there. I wouldnt have thought this place will be open for more than 4 months.

Reserved an area for a group of friends on February 8th and greeted as soon as we walked in and we were looked after from start to finish , the lady who looked after us couldn't do enough for us ,bar staff very friendly too ,we also ordered food ,pizzas and sharing platters all very tasty ,enjoyed this place so much am reserving an area for my 40th

I really like this place, is very trendy and the food very good quality price. I had rare beef and chips as the waitress recommend it and it was amazing, my friends had pizza the calzone one, no words was huge and yummy.... The service was very good since we got in till we finished ... I will recommend it to everyone...

Well.. We booked for 8:30, ran late and called to say we'd be in for 8:45. At which the person who answered the phone laughed and said it wasn't that busy anyway... We soon found out why!We arrived to an almost empty bar. Had to seek out a waitress. Finally got seated but even though they were quiet had to wait an exceptionally long time to have our order taken. When it was taken, the order was wrong and the water we ordered with the wine with had to be asked for it twice. The 2nd bottle of wine we asked for (after trying to hunt down a waiter for a third time!) had to be ordered twice also. No one checked back on our meals. No desserts or coffee was offered and then the waitress had the cheek to ask why we wanted to remove the service charge!!!Would recommend NO ONE VISIT. This place was a joke.

I held my work's leaving party at Rocket on Saturday night, and I have to say the staff were amazing, so professional and "nothing was too much trouble". The canapés were excellent and so were the cocktails. Myself and my guests were extremely pleased with the whole evening. The location is excellent, right next to Liverpool Street Station, so very easy for people to get home.I am looking to hire the Mezzanine Bar, upstairs, for my 50th birthday celebration in October, it was that good. I will definitely be coming back to Rocket.

I met a group of friends here for dinner on a Friday night. I must say the atmosphere was good. Very lively and great music to suit all tastes. It's just a short walk from Liverpool street so really convenient if meeting up with friends from across London and beyond. Service was friendly and fast.The food was attractively presented....however, it was just blah! I had the chicken milanese which was very bland. It was served with a simple Rocket and Parmesan salad, apparently with a dressing that I couldn't detect. At around £13 and I don't feel I got my money's worth. It was decidedly average. We all ordered different dishes from the menu, yet my friends made similar comments about their food. They were also quite disappointed.On a more positive note, the wine was very good! I would probably visit again, but next time I'd just go to the bar for a few drinks and maybe go on somewhere else to eat.

Myself and some of my work colleagues visited Rocket, Bishopsgate one lunchtime. The restaurant is very modern and bright but has a nice atmosphere and the food is excellent. The portions are pretty good so you don't feel like you are being ripped off like so many London restaurants. Prices about average for the area. We had the house white wine which again was surprisingly good and at not too high a price. We all agreed we will definitely visit again.

We had booked to eat here but cancelled as stopped at pizza express on the way at bishopsgate we did use the bar facilities as we were meeting friends, really great bar, background music so great for catching up not a club but really good atmosphere, great location only few mins walk from Liverpool street station. Drinks not over priced £3-4 each. My friends had eaten here in the past and said the food is really good. Mostly over 25's which is also good as haven't got a load of teenagers in there.

I took a client here for dinner last night - it was my first visit.From the moment we entered everything was just perfect. I had the Chicken Milanses - simply divine and my client had the Sea Bass which she said was gorgeous. We made the most of the 241 cocktail offer - wow - lovely. No room for dessert but just had to give it a go - The Eton Mess is always my first choice and I have to say, not tasted better. To top off our visit we had a lovely waiter - he just seemed to appear from nowhere at just the right moment and what a pleasant guy too. For the City I would say very reasonably price.Going again on 1st August - taking another client and a colleague....Thank you Rocket

It was our second visit to this restaurant. The first time we'd had a lovely meal so today was a disappointment. The salad was watery and the beef chewy and very unappetizing. Also the restaurant was quite noisy however the service was still good

Visited Rocket now twice and on both times the food and service has been top class, on my second visit recently they had 4 or 5 patio tables outside, I am not sure why as it was -2 degrees C at the time so dinners would have to be brave, the food is very well prepared and is Italian / fusion themed, the waiting staff are very attentive but not in your face and are keen to recommend from the menu which is either good training or they believe in what they are selling, having had to great experiences I would go with they believe in what they are selling. I look forward to coming in for my third dinning experience soon.

We ate at Rocket on a Saturday night around 8pm. It was fairly quiet mainly due, I imagine, to the fact that it is in Bishopsgate and so all the offices and financial institutions were closed for the weekend. However there was enough people eating or drinking in the bar to creat an atmosphere. In the week I guess this place would be a whole lot busier so bear that in mind when you visit (maybe book in advance).There was a great choice on the menu and it was hard to know what to try. I can recommend the rare beef and chip salad.There was 5 of us dining and we each had a 3 course meal with drink and it came to approx £30 a head which is great value for what we had.After each course there was 5 empty plates and 5 happily full people.I would definitely go again. The staff were very friendly and happy to recommend their favourite dishes and drinks.As it is not far from Liverpool street station it is easy to get to and there is plenty going on around the nearby Shorditch and Brick Lane areas.

Have eaten here several times at lunchtime when it has been very busy and very noisy. Arrived at 18.30 and only a couple of tables upstairs were occupied. However, around an hour later a very large group - c. 20 people arrived and they went straight through to the area which is used for private groups.The menu is quite varied and includes some weekly specials. I chose a baked pasta filled with spinich, mushrooms and ricotta which was described as being served with a rich tomato sauce. As this was basically vegetarian cannelloni I was expecting the dish to be served hot. However, when the plate arrived the sauce was stone cold, the pasta tepid and the filling cold. I asked the waitress how the dish should be served and her response was 'hot'. So, it went back to the kitchen. When re-served the pasta and filling were hot but the sauce still cold. So I was left rather bemused. By this stage my colleague had eaten half her meal so I just carried on. The pasta filling was very flavoursome but the dish was let down by the cold sauce. Dessert was fine - pear tart crumble served warm with icecream. I won't be rushing back to re-order the same dish.

We had a large group dinner upstairs after a day conference. I thought the service was truly excellent and very much enjoyed my rare beef salad and a full-bodied Spanish red. Perfect place to unwind after a long day.

i wouldn't go here again.really, really expensive... and its not worth expense as the food is pretty bad for what you pay.really noisy with the club room upstairs.must say though the staff are fist class.... but they need more of them - they just cant cope with the demand.we had dirty plates and glasses sitting in front of us for over 45mins at one stage.. and glasses which were there for over an hour.despite that the staff are really nice and friendly, and do their very best - need more of them.

I was in here on Friday and the restaurant upstairs was packed and I could see why. A good menu, well presented food. big portions and a nice mixed lunch crowd. Definitely one to remember.
