Comptoir Libanais in City of London, Westminster

We had a business lunch and were seated at a great corner table in the back of the restaurant, offering a comfortable and private setting. The staff was warm, attentive, and paid great attention to detail, making us feel truly welcome. To start, we shared the mixed platter, which was beautifully presented and full of fresh, flavorful selections. For the mains, we each had separate dishes, all of which arrived hot and were impeccably plated. The presentation was elegant, and the flavors were rich and authentic—every bite was a delight. I will definitely return to this restaurant. It’s a fantastic spot to enjoy exquisite Lebanese cuisine in the heart of London, perfect for both business and casual dining.

The food is nice and everything would be great however they pack thr tables so close to each other to get mot people in, it's not a nice experience when you have to constantly move or have someone's butt in your face trying to squeeze past to get to their table. Its ridiculous, it's not even slightly cramped it's bordering on health and safety if there was a fire I'm not sure it would be easy to get out.

I have to say this is one of the most overrated places I've been to. Where do I begin? The food is average. It's not that great. I've been to a lot of Lebanese restaurants that do unreal food, but this is not one of them. The starters were decent, but the main was not that nice at all. Not much flavour and didn't taste fresh. The atmosphere was just loud, really. There's nothing more to say about that. The service was not good at all. We asked for tap water, which didn't arrive until the end of the meal, and when it did, the waiter gave us 3 glasses, despite us being a party of 4. When ordering drinks, the waiter didn't seem to understand despite pointing the drinks out on the menu. Maybe he was new? I don't know. When the bill came, we had been charged for four individual platters, despite clearly asking for the platter for four people to share. When I asked for the service charge to be removed, the waiter was not happy about it. Getting basic things wrong... Why should we pay for poor service? We are doing this a lot in this country, getting into the habit of this 'tipping culture'. It's ridiculous. An optional service charge is exactly what it says; OPTIONAL. I won't be going back here again. It's not worth it at all.

We absolutely love the food here! Specifically the hummus, falafels, coleslaw & meatball tagine! Oh & Rose mint tea!!... & the baklava!!!

Great little lively place with a nice ambience located conveniently in the circle and next to the underground. Food was tasty and good with many vegetarian food options on the menu.

Really really pricy for what it is. Chicken shawarma is a small portion with basically 3 or 4 pieces of chicken and goes for almost £20. London has a lot of nice Lebanese places, do yourself a favour and skip this one. :)

Fun place to go ! Went there on my bday . Nice food, cosy place ! One of my friends even told them that it was my bday so they offered the baklava with candles on it, tea and put some great music for the b'day ambience ! Truly appreciated the service ! Chefs who kick out customers on a Saturday night at 8:45 PM instead of doing their job. If your passion for cooking ends at rush hour, maybe it’s time to reconsider your career choice!

Worst burger and shwarma rice I have ever eat. Paid about £33 for that. Tiny portion of chip I bet you can count those in photo. Not sure what kind of lamb burger is that dry and ice cold bun and leaf of lettuce with a kebab😡

Worst ever takeway food. I nerve left a negative review but after getting food from here I feel like they truely deserve one. I would have gone back to say that to their faces if I didn't had a flight to catch. 👎Avoid to get any takeway food from them.👎

Wasn't a great experience - I've been to other branches before and had their Shish Taouk as a wrap and it has been amazing. I went for the mixed grill this time and had been told that the chicken wings had replaced the chicken kofte, I asked if they could replace the wings with the kofte to which they said no, which was quite annoying. The food did come quickly, within 5 minutes - The flavours were extremely bland. The lamb kofte was a 5/10 - Just average, was ok The chicken shish was bland, felt like plain chicken with some seasoning But the real star of the show was the wings, they were just not right... I actually felt like they had gone off, they tasted like out of date yoghurt... I sent them back for the chef to try who said they were fine and confirmed they were marinated with yoghurt which is why they had that taste. I was sure that they were gone off so didn't eat them, in fact, one of the other waiters who was really helpful and polite actually said the same thing, he said he tried them and they weren't right. I am sitting here with an upset stomach, any guesses as to what could have caused that. Will not be returning to this branch again, nor will I be ordering this again.

Forgot to put our main courses through, after an hour we asked and received no apology, got the bill for our starters and drinks then left hungry as we had somewhere to be. Food isn't very nice either.

Not really sure how this restaurant has managed to have multiple different branches with a high rating. My friend and I came for lunch today and we found every item we ordered to have an extremely unpleasant taste, the food was bland and tasteless. The meat tasted off, just simply boring. Would not recommend wasting your time and money going there!

Very dissapointing and won't go again, this is why: It was on Saturday 30th in the evening. Me and my friend walked in around 8.40pm, the place was busy, but there were tables available. The waiter or manager said, we were fully booked no tables available, only table reservations. So we left, owe checkes on Google, there was a reservation ready at 8.45pm (5mins later). We came back in, he look annoyed but didn't say anything and took us to our table. The actual decor of the place looks brilliant, and the environment is lovely. The food came out cold, for both of us. Luckily a different waiter managed to sort it out and rectify one of the dishes. But they both tasteless and expensive, feel ripped off to be honest. Will not go again.

Entonces mi marido quería un tagine pero no quedaba nada, así que ambos teníamos una parrilla mixta. Fue encantador y se lavó con unas cervezas 🍻 El personal era muy amable! Muy recomendable 😊

The food quality seems to have really deteriorated over the years. The lamb for the burger was undercooked. Chicken shish taouk was bland. Such a shame - we used to really enjoy eating here and getting delivery but I think today’s meal will be our last sadly

Absolutely loved this place. The menu was brilliant. My friend who went with me was a Vegan and there was many options for her. The place is very Instagram and the service was absolutely brilliant. Highly recommend.

I just saw Comptoir as I was walking past and it was full although they managed to find me a seat at the last table. Service was excellent, good ordered quickly and arrived within 2 minutes. I had to wait for my water and cocktail! Very tasty and I will return.

Amazing food and warm atmosphere. The person assisting us was Krina and she was very sweet and welcoming.
