This now only has one sharing platter that is cold. Very over priced at over £28...most of it looked like stuff from Aldi.... nothing wrong with that but don't charge a fortune. We were called before turning up for our booking to say "there's now a reduced menu", what they meant is there is now one choice. Very very disappointed. Rarely go out for food, and to spend £50 on a cold sharing menu and two pints, robbed.

The mixed shawarma was unbelievable and the staff are marvelous. This is my go to restaurant in South Kensington for dinner on my way back to the hotel. The portions are so large I have a before bed snack. The food reminds me of months in Lebanon…

Locale con stile e arredo che se poteva andar bene 50 anni fa é ora decisamente superato sicuramente non elegante e tantomeno raffinato Al piano terra si avverte entrando un forte odore di pesce e trovo la cosa poco gradevole cibo assolutamente deludente: il pesce da me scelto ( sogliola Dover) sembrava decongelato senza sapore consistenza stopposa e asciutta per la modica cifra per il solo pesce di 47 sterline!!!!! Conto finale elevato assolutamente non adeguato a quello che è il locale e alla qualità del cibo Aggiungo ( per dare l’idea dello “stile”del locale) che eravamo ancora seduti a tavola in 4 persone e una cameriera si é presentata con in mano uno straccio umido e ha pulito il tavolo ( che è senza tovaglia e sottopiatto…..) in modo molto sommario girando intorno a bicchieri e bottiglia e lasciando comunque macchie di cibo Per finire: nel pomeriggio ho cominciato ad avere nausea, che è durata tutta la sera e la notte, non ho cenato, ho solo bevuto tisane La mia recensione è del tutto sincera semplicemente ho cercato di motivare il voto basso attribuito a questo ristorante dove l’unica nota positiva è la vista mare

La hospitalidad aquí era insuperable. Me sentí como si estuviera en un café de propiedad familiar, fuera de los caminos trillados en el continente. Pedí los huevos Benedict y fueron algunos de los mejores que tuve. Me frustra que no descubrimos Luscious hasta la última mañana de nuestra estancia en Edimburgo. Vale la pena visitarlo.

In attesa del volo, in notevole ritardo, decidiamo di pranzare presso questo ristorante nell’aeroporto di Gatwick. Prezzi competitivi visto la media in Inghilterra e soprattutto in aereoporto. Simpatiche le proposte con le wraps che viene presentato come piatto completo essendo anche di insalata e oummus di accompagnamento.

It would have been a good night had it not been for the unprofessional attitude of the manager, Having looked at the menu on their website, we decided to book for a team dinner as the prices fit within our budget - The weekday menu is advertised as £17.50 for 2 courses and £22.00 for 3 courses. The meal was OK, and the service was great (I do feel bad for the waitress giving a 1 star review) the problems arose when the bill arrived. You get presented with a blank piece of paper apart from the total, no breakdown of meals or prices, and it was far higher than it should have been. In our party of 18, 10 people had 2 courses and 8 had 3 courses and they tried to charge almost £550.00. I questioned this and was told I would need to speak with the manager. When he came out of the kitchen, he didn't walk further than the door so we had to go over to him (this conversation wouldn't have disturbed any other customers as we were the only people there). From the start he was incredibly rude and when we questioned the amount of the bill he insisted it was correct. We tried to explain that the menu on the website very clearly stated different prices and even checked it whilst we were talking just in case anything had changed - it hadn't but he didn't care. He continued to insist the price charged was correct, which was £27.50 per person, we pointed out that was the price advertised on the weekend menu and we were there on a Wednesday. His response to this they were old prices and how we can we expect to only pay £17.50 or £22.00. He couldn't tell me how we were meant to be aware of this without being told. He continued to argue, yell and dismiss all of our questions, until he stomped off into the kitchen yelling over his shoulder for us to get out! We settled the bill, at the advertised price, and ensured that the service charge added did go to the staff, but this encounter did overshadow the evening and is not how I expect any customer to be treated in a restaurant. I would not recomend going to this restaurant based on the way the manager treats people who have the "audacity" to question him, if you do decide to go make you check the prices before ordering anything. The picture below shows the menu the night we were there and I have checked their website again today and the weekday menu is still advertised at the same price.

Incredibly dissapointing. Decided last min to go for a roast and popped here. The carvery veg was all soggy and bland, the gammon was incredibly salty and the beef was somehow both very rare and very tough! The serving station was dirty and all the utensils were just piled at the end. We came last year and the meat wasn't great but thought we'd give it another go. Certainly won't be coming back.

We went there with my family and the service was very poor and especially the owner he was very rude and so abusive. Food was cheap and it’s over priced. Avoid at any cost

Fui a 51 para San Valentín y fue fantástico. Tenían especiales de comida de San Valentín y cócteles también. Nos dieron el pollo de casarme y la coliflor Katsu del menú de ofertas y eran tan sabrosos, también tuvimos algunos trozos del menú normal y eran igual de agradables. Nuestra camarera era la gracia, ella era tan amable y servicial en darnos recomendaciones sobre qué probar y nada era demasiado problema para ella. La comida salió rápidamente y hubo un poco de espera en las bebidas, pero era comprensible ya que el restaurante estaba lleno. Sin duda volveremos de nuevo

Visitamos el restaurante Ruya para cenar después de la fiesta de bodas de mi hija, y el restaurante fue realmente decepcionante. La comida era buena, pero todo lo demás fue un desastre total - Éramos un grupo grande, nos recibió el pesebre del ventilador, que se presentó y prometió cuidarnos, se fueron como su turno terminó sin entrega a nadie más Nos dieron una mesa demasiado pequeña para nuestro grupo, a pesar de que el restaurante estaba medio vacío. -Tuvimos que pedir todo 2 - 3 veces, como agua, pan, bebidas... etc, y muchos artículos nunca se entregaron -No teníamos ni idea de quién es gerente, supervisor, camarero o limpiador, solo mucha gente corriendo por ahí desorganizada. Personal inexperto, que evidente de cómo manchan la suciedad en lugar de limpiarla, o pidiéndome que encuentre espacio en la mesa cuando sirven los platos en lugar de dos personas trabajando juntas para servirnos. - Optamos por el menú establecido, y los espacios entre cursos era demasiado largo, como 20 - 25 m a pesar de nuestra solicitud repetida de agilizar -Las porciones del menú eran demasiado pequeñas, tuvimos que pedir un montón de comida Ala carta. -Hemos preguntado por el gerente 3 - 4 veces, y solo lo vi cuando recibí la cuenta al final, donde descargué brevemente mi frustración pero tuve que irme para escoltar a mis invitados fuera. No entiendo todo el bombo alrededor del restaurante, claramente es solo una campaña en las redes sociales ya que muchas de las reseñas se quejan del mismo tema. Debería haber leído las críticas antes de reservar. Ayman
