Megan's at the Power Station Restaurant (Battersea) in Wandsworth

My partner and I wanted to see Battersea Power Station during a recent trip to London, so we looked for somewhere to eat nearby. We liked the look of Megan's menu, but we now regret spending our hard earned there. My partner's starter - falafel - was cold, so the waiter offered to get a fresh one. The second attempt was even colder - not just cool from standing, but refrigerated. The third one was just right. She felt like Goldilocks. My main - posh donner kebab - was luke warm as soon as it came out, but I couldn't be bothered sending it back. It was tasty though. The head waiter / greeter was very attentive and the price of the 2 cold and 1 warm starters was deducted from the bill, so I didn't dispute the automatic 10% service charge. Ultimately, a very disappointing meal. Considering we had the whole of London to choose from, I chose the wrong place.

Nice place for food at the Power station. We went here because they had better vegan choices. Food was good. Service could be better even though we went at a quiet time. However, the staff dealt with the issues professionally.

Ligeramente preocupados porque no podíamos reservar, esperamos una media hora para sentarnos, lo que refleja la popularidad del restaurante. El ambiente y la decoración eran encantadores, cómodos asientos de mesa de la cabina y un servicio eficiente amable. Encontramos el menú variado con una gran selección. Particularmente gustaron las bebidas recién hechas, zumos o batidos. Nuestra fiesta de cuatro platos seleccionados muy diferentes - desde kebabs de cordero, panes planos con humus y halloumi, huevos Benedict y masa madre Avo - todos bien recibidos y sabrosos. Recomiendo encarecidamente, vale la pena la visita y para abastecerse antes de explorar las tiendas!

El mejor kebab que he tenido - gran ambiente y el personal era tan educado y atento! Un establecimiento fantástico! ¡Volveremos!

He estado en muchas de las opciones de comida en Battersea Power Station, no obtendrás mejor servicio que en Megan’s. Mi servidor era una chica llamada Osayi que era nada menos que perfecto: atento, amable, cálido - ella hizo completamente mi experiencia. La comida de Megan’s siempre es confiablemente bastante buena, pero el equipo que dirige este sitio en particular es excelente. Precioso para el brunch antes de ir de compras.

Amazing delicious food full of flavours! I had the open chicken with piri piri sauce. It was my second time here and I will definitely be back soon. I would like to thank all the staff, particularly Prince that was looking after us that night.

Really delicious Greek food. We had the sharing platter which was a good range of different dishes and enough for 2 people. Lovely atmosphere. Only downside was our waiter. He wasn’t very interested and we were left for quite a while between courses.

After waiting over thirty minutes for a table, our order was first lost and had to be re taken after twenty minutes. We were then served cold and lukewarm food half still missing so we had to cancel the missing items which to give them credit was taken off the bill. There wasn’t enough cutlery on the table. I feel bad as I recommend the place due to the fact all previous visits here have been positive experiences the only plus was the staff are lovely although inexperienced and the food was tasty though cold when it arrived at our table, and the place wasn’t even that busy.

Service, food, environment all good but portions too small for the price.. . One small slice sourdough toast and two small eggs for £8.

Food was good. I ate half my food and asked for rest of it to be packed for take away. When time came for the bill, I asked where my food was and I was told the waiter hadn’t heard me and threw it away. Server had been disinterested throughout and I should not have been surprised at this. They did not offer to make the food for me again. They did, however, take the dessert off the bill. But I’ve been left feeling disappointed and don’t plan on returning here. I really wanted to ask them to take off the automatic service charge from the bill, because they didn’t nothing good to deserve it.

I was really looking forward to my first visit to Megan’s but unfortunately after my experience, it will be my last. Firstly, we ordered drinks and when they turned up (after our starter!) one of our drinks didn’t arrive. This initially wasn’t an issue however we had to ask 4 times for the drink and were then told that they had run out of strawberries and were getting some more and therefore the missing drink would be a couple of minutes. After these couple of minutes, we were then told they wasn’t sure how long it was going to take to get the strawberries and so never got the drink. Then when our food arrived, we had the incorrect order. Once our correct order finally arrived, we asked for a little bit more of one of the dips and after 10 minutes of waiting and having to ask where this was also, we were given a huge bowl of Greek yoghurt … and was also charged for the Greek yoghurt that we did not order. We had also said ahead of our reservation that we will have a baby in a pushchair with us, yet we were sat at the smallest and tightest table possible when there were other tables free. We asked if we could be moved to a booth with slightly more space and was told this was not possible with the pram. We ended up having to put our pram inside so that we could have the booth but being without the pram when we have a 12 week old with us was not ideal. It generally seemed as though no one knew what they were doing or what was going on and yet the restaurant was not even very busy. Every time food and drinks came out, they were going to the incorrect tables. I wish I could say I only witnessed this once or twice but unfortunately I feel like this was happening the whole time I dined! Thankfully the food was good, however not good enough to make me want to return.

I ordered the lemon orzo which was sub par at best very little flavor. The real disappointment was when the waiter spilled white wine down my brothers shirt and face

Wonderful location, beautifully decorated and amazing service. Eirn who attended us was fantastic, going above and beyond to make a wonderful occasion for us.

Well what can I say about this place, firstly the service was quite good but the food was atrocious. My wife and I had the Mezze for 2 and I can honestly say that apart from the chilli chicken shashouka everything on the tray was tasteless it was the most bland food I have ever tasted. And considering it cost £90 for the meal and 4 small bottles of beer, I would have expected something better. Needless to say we will not be going back there,

We went to Megan's for their bottomless bubbles. The food was fantastic and the service was exceptional. We were mostly served by Ishaaq who was very attentive and would regularly check that our drinks were full and that everything was okay.

Fantastic food here is a given .. people happily queue to get a table. What impressed us most was how such a busy restaurant on a Saturday brunch delivered exceptional customer service. Erin managed an endless line of people with whilst still noticing little things .. I needed some sugar . It arrived seconds later. Thank you .. we will be back

The menu offered a set meal for two with three options, each at a different price. We assumed it was a choice of two out of three. It equated to one person paying £21.9 and the other £19.9. So, we ordered two dishes. Despite knowing we were a party of two, the waiter still took the order. When the food arrived, we realized the portions were huge. It wasn't until we were paying that the cashier informed us we had ordered portions for four people, totaling £110. They could just say each dish is 43.8 instead 21.9 each. Isn’t it?????? The manager, upon learning of the situation, blamed us for not understanding the menu, despite its misleading nature. Although they removed the price of one dish in the end, I was still very angry. Being accused without being informed we had ordered double the food was unacceptable.

Fantastic time! Lovely menu. 3 courses for £20! So cocktails for £15. Had a lovely dinner with friends. I think the lady was called Claudia- very helpful, attentive and great service!

We chose to take luncheon here following a visit to the Power Station. Although we had actually booked in advance, our circumstances changed and we arrived as 'walk-ins' rather earlier than our booking, but they were still able to accommodate us. Our meals were very tasty and appeared healthy too, with lots of falafel and tabbouleh. I chose to add Halloumi to mine as an extra; the Halloumi portion was nice but rather paltry and if we ever re-visit I would not order that again. All in all a pleasant lunch in a good location by the Thames.

Awful, surly chap on the front desk. Blatantly tried to avoid even engaging with us as we entered and stood waiting at the front desk. We asked politely if they had any space, and could we sit outside for an early evening drink. The reply: "I'm not sitting you or anyone outside." And immediately looked back down. I'd hate for tourists (and locals!) to think everyone in London is rude. I won't be back and will not be recommending to others. What a shame.

Upon our arrival at Megan's in Battersea, Agron warmly welcomed us with a smile, graciously accommodating our party without a prior reservation. Zara, our attentive waiter, provided excellent guidance on the menu, steering us towards delectable choices. The culinary experience surpassed all expectations, with each dish reaching a level of excellence. The service was impeccable throughout, creating a sense of value and attentiveness. The bramble cocktails were a standout recommendation, adding to the overall enjoyment. In unanimous agreement, our group rates Megan's a flawless 10/10, attributing it to the outstanding cuisine, exceptional service, and inviting ambiance.

This is the second time I have been to Megan’s. The first being in the summer at the Kensington High Street restaurant where I encountered the rudest server. Uninterested and simply not caring about her customers. Now to the Battersea branch. I went on a Saturday night around 6pm - with no reservation as their website said that on Saturdays and Sundays they only have “walks ins” and take no bookings. Imagine my surprise when we arrive to see at least 10 tables with “reserved” on them. Never mind I thought, we will just proceed inside. We were greeted by the rudest man - no there were no tables and no he didn’t know how long it would be before one came available, not even an estimate. Not interested at all. I understand it is stressful and a Saturday evening, but come on Megan’s. At this point I am thinking it is a failing in your staff training and recruitment. Your food is fab but not fab enough to be coming back again. So many other places to go to.

Fab restaurant in easy location for Turbine theatre. Service and food was excellent and the vegan options well received. Will go back. Also a dog friendly venue is a plus.

Visited today for Brunch at the Battersea PS restaurant. There was a long wait but the Indian lady at the front managed to facilitate me pretty quickly. I was served by Ishaaq who was exceptional, friendly and attentive! He’s a valuable member of staff for sure. Having moved to this area from Edinburgh last month, sometimes staff can be rude so this was refreshing to be served by him today. As for the food, as always it never disappoints…I had the Mediterranean Tray with Sucuk, it was perfect!

This was a nostalgic trip to see where my Mum worked for CEGB 50yrs ago when the area was called Bankside and was quite run-down. My breakfast at Megan's was superb, the staff so friendly and obliging, perfect!
