Villaggio in Warrington

Do not stay here, I booked a hotel at this place and at night the manger got on top of the roof and started staring through my window, I’ve also rang the police and they said they will get it sorted out for us but I still don’t know how this manager is still working here The room was nice but there’s a ton of dust on top of the pictures and fresh new clean towels on the floor

Now called 9 Curry,s best Indian restaurant in Warrington. The food was amazing, this is the best Indian food I have ever had. The service is fantastic.

Myself and my family has eaten in villaggios very often. The old owners were attentive and very polite. The food was delicious. Now be prepared for an unpleasant experience. I will not dine here again. Well done on ruining what was a good dining experience.

Not fit for purpose. Very dirty… currently renovating so banging till 7pm all day. Walls are paper thin. You’re better off at travel Lodge

Called in after cinema visit (Warrington Luxe - The Gentelmen) and after watching a spectacular performance from Hugh Grant I thought our surprises were done for the day. When we arrived at Villaggio it was quiet (maybe post Christmas recovery for diners). I ordered Meatballs for starter and Beef Milanese for main. My partner had a creamy mushroom starter and Carbonara main. Every dish was spot on. The beef was beautifully tender, really soft, all four dishes were lovely. We had a bottle of house red reasonable for a house bottle) and total cost was £43. We've ate at Las Ramblas, Grill on Square, Spirit etc.....and for food quality to price Villaggio best so far. Really surprised wasn't full given that. There is a huge car park just to the side. Didn't see any of hotel or reception only the restaurant. The only minor thing I could think to improve the experience would be continuous music of a similar mood. The music I think was being controlled manually and some pauses and complete changes of style of music. It didn't impact our experience as that remained lovely but did caught attention and make small break in conversation. Service was good and overall experience excellent

Food great, bar staff a little uninterested and when you order drinks it’s anyones guess what you’ll Get. I ordered a bottle of wine from the wine list, what I got was not what I asked for. Instead I got a £6 of supermarket wine for £25.50! When questioned I was told ‘’ we ran out of that one, this one is the same price ‘’ I said I didn’t want the alternative, to be told it was already open now! Shame really

Popped in for a midweek evening meal whilst visiting family locally. The service was very attentive and the food we ordered arrived in good time and tasted absolutely delicious. Will definitely be back next time we visit Warrington.

Ate there for a birthday - prices were fine. Food was decent. Service was good. Parking easy. Its not a place to get excited about but completely ok

We stayed in the Villagio for two nights and found it to be very friendly and comfortable. The breakfast was very good and being gluten free I was also well catered for. This was our second time here as we stayed a few years ago and they have upgraded a few areas, making it very pleasant to stay in. I would certainly recommend this hotel.

Another visit to Vilaggio and again, not disappointed. Welcomed without a booking, drinks arrived promptly and sufficient time allowed for us to decide on choices. Starters cooked quickly and came piping hot. We were asked if we needed more time between courses which we did, and the main course came bang on time, juicy and, again, piping hot. Very good value for money and we'd go again without hesitation.

I stayed here for a night on business on 6 February and wasn't expecting much for Warrington as a hotel destination! What a lovely friendly hotel . The room was spotless, with shiny taps and an excellent shower in the lovely clean bathroom and a very comfortable bed. I ate in the Italian themed restaurant in the evening and the food was very good with an excellent menu choice including pizzas and other tasty dishes. They have a reasonably priced (and huge) bar as well and there are plenty of place to sit and relax around the hotel which is much bigger than you first think. I would definitely stay there again as it is a very under-rated hotel. A great stay.

The Villagio staff were all wonderful from booking and right through to the evening itself. They helped us with recommending the resident dj. The food was wonderful. The room was spotless for us and the staff very attentive. We had a few special requests and they were more than happy to help. If we need a function room again this will be our first choice. Everyone commented by saying it was such a lovely venue.

Along with another couple we booked B&B for one night, so we could attend a Christmas party nearby. The check-in staff were very friendly & efficient so we dropped our bags & headed for the hotel bar. Our room was smallish but ok with a good-sized shower in the spotlessly clean bathroom. The bed was comfortable. The bar man kindly used his own phone to order us a taxi. The full English breakfast was excellent with a waitress on hand to make sure we were kept supplied with tea or coffee & toast. At only £55 our stay was very good value for money.

My wife & bridesmaids & her son stayed here in 2015...on the day of our wedding the hallway from her room to the outside door had been painted,without any warning signs put up,resulting in her son getting paint all over his suit jacket...we made a complaint at the time,followed it up after the wedding & several times in the following days..the management must of been trained by SAS as their evasive actions were unbelievable, almost to the point of saying we was partially to blame ....shockingly bad management & customer relations..

Visited Villagio restaurant for my daughter's birthday with family. The staff were very friendly and attentive/ service and food was excellent and very reasonable .Plenty of parking next to hotel, We all had an excellent evening and would definitely visit again.

The food is excellent and they put out a lovely little plate of tapas. It is a BYBO which makes it reasonable if you are a wine drinker. I am. The atmosphere is pleasant. The staff is easer to please. I would recommend Villagio's.

Great choice of food with great deals on offer, rooms are tidy and spacious. Staff are all very friendly and polite. Always travel to this hotel if am in the North West.

11 of us went to eat a meal here, we have been before several times and always found the steaks to be worth the rather expensive cost, last night the steaks weren't even worth eating and one of the party had the lamb which was pretty dire, the fries were overlooked and the vegetables had a funny taste, although one fillet steak was great and two fish dishes were ok.The waitress came to clear the table and asked if everything was ok, I asked her if they had changed the chef recently as the food hadn't been great, she then asked me what the problem was and as I tried to explain she walked away and rolled her eyes at me!!! She was extremely rude and dismissive, I then asked to speak to the manager who she refused to get and said she was in charge, when I insisted she stated he was in a meeting till 10pm that evening.My family who have previously spent special occasions here will not be going back, do not go here if you expect good service, no wonder it's always pretty empty in thereRude argumentative staff member should not be working in the service industry if she can't be polite when she is asked a question!

Stayed in this hotel and it was truly excellent. The room was basic but clean, just what we wanted. Evening meal and breakfast could not be bettered. Staff were fantastic.
