The best restaurants serving Indian food in Wales

Awful tea. Someday they will make tea that they are supposed to make but someday they are like chuck it let's make it awful.

Well it's a favourite place when we come to Cardiff. Something was amiss this time round. We've been at least 10 times and always so good . The fun starter chat bombs always please in taste. The bhel puri tasted stale and was really disappointing it should be crisp with the lovely sweet and sourness but thus was soggy and stale tasting. A real letdown. Yes the staff did ask was it OK but it was minutes into eating and at that point the bhel puri had not been tried. The chip butty was also a let down in style and taste. The potatoes again tasted as though they had been around for a while and the tomato sauce that accompanied it was just that lacking in interest. My partners fish curry was nice and the deal dish too. It's sad but it has dropped down the list of places to want to return to in a hurry. On a positive the staff are always efficient and lovely.

We visited today for Sunday lunch. We did not pre book and judging by how busy the restaurant was, we thought we might be turned away. We’d walked in and were seated straightaway. We went for the Sunday lunch menu and were not disappointed. We started with the poppadom and pickle tray, followed by the mixed appetiser of onion bhaji, chicken tikka, samosa and sheek kebab with salad garnish, both were excellent and hot. We were asked to choose our main and side dish. Both curries were beautifully cooked and the meat so tender. Service through out was top notch and we enjoyed it very much. It was great value for money and will recommend to everyone I know. Will definitely visit again

This is a lovely Indian restaurant in Monmouth. Been here a few times and it's never disappointed.i would recommend this place if you like a nice Indian meal.

Absolutely fantastic food one of the very best we’ve ever had anywhere! I would totally recommend a visit. Only snag was please turn the lights down!!

Best indian sit and eat, aldo they have delivery service , reasonable prices and buffet on sunday, good value foe the money , STAFF are awesome, great and friendly

Ate at the Cinnamon Tree last Friday - what a treat! My friend and I have been touring England and Wales for two weeks, and this was our last meal before my friend returned to France. We could not have chosen a better finale! My friend is an excellent cook, and his view was that it surpassed anything he could do. The flavours were extraordinary; we chose four starters between us to get a wide range of tastes and textures, and we couldn't have been more impressed. If you like Indian food - any food - go here!!

Outstanding. The food was hot upon arrival. Friendly service. And each dish we had was gorgeous. The tandoori chicken was succulent and the portions were ample. Well done Townhill Tandoori!! We will be repeat customers.

Used to be great. Lately gone downhill. Food was like rubber and tasted like dog food. Chips were good, onion bahjies were all battered, think they forgot the onion part. Tikka kebab was like rubber dog food. 6 months ago would have been 5 stars. Sorry guys
