The best restaurants serving Indian food in Wales

We arrived here early on new years eve night the staff where very friendly taking time to explain about the dishes we had selected, service was prompt and the food was very tasty lovely spices just what we had asked for and very relaxed atmosphere! There was a group of seven sitting opposite us who had the buffet and said they really enjoyed it ! Looked great! When we received the bill I was surprised to see how reasonable our food and drinks where ! Excellent value we will visit you again at the panache .

Fabulous, fabulous, fabulous once again. My favourite Indian of all time.

Ordered food starters and main course waiter came back to check order as he had lost part of it on tablet. Starters came fairly quickly but main course came 45 minutes later and only part of order was correct asked for lamb but got chicken instead, my friends don't eat chicken there was things we didn't ask for. Lamb tikka masala we ordered was extremely tough and rubbery to eat. Very disappointed as previous visit was excellent.

We were visiting a local campsite and always try somewhere new each time that we visit. It was a great welcome. The building is very grand. All of the waiters and waitresses really looked after us and nothing seemed too much trouble. We all had starters which were gorgeous. I had the chicken chat. My wife had onion bhaji and our friends had garlic mushrooms and mixed meat kebab. The mains came with a reasonable gap and didn't disappoint. Mine was a balti. My wife had a sagg, our friends had a madrs and the ginger curry. It was all very reasonably priced. We will definitely go back. It was a great evening. Thanks guys. See you soon.

Food was excellent. I ordered a lamb vindaloo and a saag aloo. Lamb was so tender and delicious. Saag also was gorgeous, favourite restaurant for an Indian restaurant.

Expected high standards. Was in for a shock as I did not feel that the staff were attentive to even cared to ask us how our food was. I mean it’s good they didn’t because it was terrible.

Lovely food and service and very friendly staff. Really pleased to have found this place. May be the best mixed starter we’ve had ever!

Can't fault their takeaway, very good value, decent amounts, fresh and tasty.

Rubbish of late. Staff smoking in the doorway. Food is dreadful and flavourless. Slow service too. Why bother? Pay some more and go to the local in Magor or order from Caldicot and have something nice. This will be shut soon unless there is change, living off the previous name and owner.

The food is always fresh and hot on delivery.You can see and taste the spices that they use.Only one downside is that the onion baji is flat and not crispy like the ones you get in a ball.But that dosnt deserve them to loose a star.In my opinion the best indian by far as it is always consistant.

Excellent food and service, lovely relaxing vibe

Been 3 times in a week. Don't usually do that. I have to say this place is a great find superb curries chicken tika succulent great service will miss coming here I'm from England this is in Wales. I wish them luck and every success from Mr steve smith. See you in the future god willing

I really enjoyed my meal here, before a show at the New Theatre. I didn't book and there was plenty of room but it was quite early when I went. I ordered a Masala Chai, Gujarati Thali & paneer and sweetcorn curry.
