The best restaurants serving Indian food in Wales

Having been away from the UK for five years, we went back today and yes it’s as good as always. Old fav Rohan Josh lamb. We both ordered the wonderful dips for the great poppadoms too !!!

Been dining at this restaurant since I was a teenager (I'm now 40) always amazing fresh tasty food and service. Always the first place I go for birthday meals and special occasions. It has a special place in my heart as all my family past and present eat here.

I have had a takeaway tonight from Celebrities. It was the worst thing I've tasted in years. Korma chicken and. Rice with Nann. Well done Celebrities, it must be hard to buy the lowest standard chicken and served it with a straight face. It was cold, the microwave could not make it better, it just enhanced the fact it had no flavour. It seems I'm not alone with thus criticism, there are too many competitors for such low standards.

Esperé 30 minutos para nuestra mesa - sin disculpas. Además de eso, luego esperé más de una hora por nuestra comida. Lo mejor fue que el gerente culpó al “personal juvenil” por su falta de disculpas y valores amables. No visitaremos pronto. Necesitan resolver la dotación de personal, la gestión del tiempo y el servicio al cliente.

We are visiting the area and decided to try out Gulshan on our first night. Needless to say we were not disappointed. Best Indian meal we have had in years. We will definitely return next time we’re visiting the area. Thank you.

Very delicious food and my first experience and i'm satisfy their services .The staff are excellent, very attentive and polite.

Food is very bland, doesn’t taste like curry at all. When my 8 year old says dad this doesn’t have any spice at all immediately knew I was in for a rubbish curry. Microwave curry’s from Iceland have more taste. Naan is like pizza bread, definitely isn’t made in a tandori oven, microwaves out of a packet. save your money go to a proper indian restaurant.

Just bad food chunks of chicken in sauce , not cooked as a meal , I can make a better curry and I,m a plumber.

Hadn't visited for a few years as not based in Risca but popped in with wife for starters and main on a Friday night. The food was extremely good value for money and good portions. For example my garlic chicken tikka starter had five pieces of chicken. The staff were very welcoming and we both left with a positive experience and as such will be looking to return. A real curry house with staff very knowledgeable about the dishes.

Food took 2 hours for delivery , the madras was awful, was watery and cold with no taste and bland, Never thought a curry could be so bad. Don't recommend

Always had great food here. The Biryani is too draw. They go over and above to make us comfortable. Recommended

Food was good until it wasn't 😳. There was something gritty in my curry after I'd eaten most of it. I told the staff about this and they weren't able to offer any recompense for this sadly. Need to brush up on their customer service. I actually enjoyed most of the food and don't like leaving a duff review. This doesn't appear to be the usual offering fortunately.
