Could of been a bit more generous with the chicken curry my husband had, it was only half a carton. But we enjoyed the meal very much, thank you

I am local and won’t be using this take-away Indian restaurant again! We have just had a take away. It cost £38.00. I can honestly say that it’s the worst curry Iv had. The chicken in both meals was so tough we were unable to eat it. The Bombay potatoes were hard. I ate as much as I could of Rice and sauce!! Terribly disappointed. And it was also expensive so you would have expected better quality.

First time we’ve had a curry (take away) from here tonight, very nice and tasty 👌 Certainly not cheap, we are from the Midlands and it’s around £25 more expensive for exactly the same food ! But it was very nice and we will definitely come back here again, but you definitely only need 1 rice and possibly 1 naan between 2… 👍

Intention was to have a meal here. Walked past to suss out but the place was empty (Sat 7.30pm) strange, the next door but one was also an Indian restaurant (Dine India) which was buzzing. Went to cash point to get cash as both only accept cash, and decided to stick to our original plan and go to Bay of Bengal. Walked in and asked for a table for 2, we were asked if we'd booked, no, then asked if we'd been before, no. Then told they were fully booked! Very odd! Went to Dine India where we had an excellent meal which was reasonably priced and service with a smile. When we walked past again, just over an hour later, they had customers at a couple of tables, but certainly weren't full. Bay of Bengal, you need to have some customer service training and appreciate paying customers. You lost out as we took our custome to Dine India and we will be returning customers to them!

Cosy curry house. Everything is well-cooked and beautifully presented. Can get popular so phoning ahead to book is recommended.

No atmosphere at all. Garlic chilli chicken was tasteless? Garlic nan undercooked. Best thing about it was the little bottle of diet coke for £2.95.

I have had a Chicken madras curry in every restaurant for the last 30+ years and this was great but possibly a little too much chilli powder , I would have said it was halfway towards a Vindaloo hot but I still enjoyed it . The poppadums were good needed a pickle with the salad mint yoghurt very watery

Really disappointed with our take away Saturday night. We’ve tried here once before and wasn’t very impressed but thought we’d see if there was any improvement. The chilli chicken Masala had no heat in it at all, the chicken Tikka was so red it was obviously food colouring with no taste at all. Just like having a base of tinned tomatoes for both curries. For the price we definitely expected more. We won’t be buying from here again.

The Bay of Bengal is a small, friendly Indian Restaurant that takes a lot of pride in its food. This is the place for a delicious curry in a relaxed atmosphere. You ate welcome to bring your own alcohol.

Wow One bite and I was instantly transported to Birminghams balti triangle. The flavours, the quality of ingredients and overall experience. The customer service and hospitality was also unrivalled. You simply will not find a better restaurant in Gwynedd.

Really enjoyed our food this evening, one of the best Jalfrazi's ive had and ive had many. Good and tasty and nice and hot. Giod rice and naan bread. Good service very friendly.. Thank you very much

Amazing food, sadly no card machine (cash only) however no cash in local ATM’s. Was given order but felt so guilty not paying, walked back 30mins later with cash from caravan. Pls get a card reader as put many people off going again

Had the best curry I've ever had there on Saturday. Perfect, and the staff were lovely too. Really nice restaurant. I had a king prawn dhansak, while my friends had a chicken korma and a chicken passanda. All the food was brilliant, service was perfect. We'll definitely be back, it's my new favourite.

Fantastic service but a little disappointed in the food since my previous visits. A change of chef has not been a change for the better.

We had a meal for 7 here. It is honestly one of the best Indian/Bangaldeshi meals we have ever enjoyed. The chef here is really fantastic. Having enjoyed Indian cuisine in many countries this is truly one of the best we’eve ever tasted. Attentive and quick service too.

How in 2022 can you be "Cash only". I literally walked past a homeless man with a card reader earlier today. This is the most blatent tax dodge, it just feels wrong! The food might well be excellent, unfortunately I haven't tried it yet, because I've had to try and find a cash machine to pay for it!!

My second visit to this restaurant and what a disappointment. The staff were focused on takeaways and when my food food arrived the chicken was cold. Most sit down customers were complaining and takeaway customer were bringing back incorrect orders. It was obvious there was no one was in control. Totally chaotic. Very disappointed after my first visit. This establishment must decide their priorities either sit down restore takeaway.
