Great food. Lovely friendly service. When you have just come down from Snowdon, this is exactly what you need.

Called in here late in the evening after a long day hiking. It is BYOB but the food and service was brilliant. Far better than the 3.9 star review score suggests!

Went on a Sat evening, refused a table for 1 (quite rudely by the manager) understandably busy but not nice when theres unreserved party of 2 after me gets seated and tables free. Food was good no complaints and speedy service.

If there were 6 stars I’d give them 6. Great fresh food and lovely staff

This place was recommended to us by our hotel manager and thoroughly lived up to expectations. Service was very good and the food was excellent. This is a BYO restaurant and glasses were provided and no corkage was charged. Very friendly and helpful staff. Very popular and you need to book. Well done guys…thank you for a pleasant evening.

Chicken tikka masala was weird but everything else is ok

This restaurant gets 10 out of 10. Been eating here on and off for the past 12 years, you would have good and sometimes not so good food. But the new owners have turned it around and the food, service is exceptional. We will definitely be using more often. Well done to the owners, staff and the brilliant chef.

Family meal last night, attentive & friendly staff, quick service, beautiful fresh food. Presentation was excellent. Tandoori mixed grill starter is lovely, big chunks of chicken, huge onion bahji! I had the sizzling special, lamb, chicken & prawn-possibly best ever had! We asked for a 50/50 nugget & popcorn chicken for child which was happily granted😀. You do need to take your own alcohol but this suited us as a cheaper option. Only thing missing was a dessert option for the kids. Will definitely be regular visitors now.

Decent quality typical Indian restaurant, doesn't serve beer and when we visited had no lassi either but I think they were busier than anticipated on a Tuesday.

Arrived before 7pm on a Friday without a reservation, if it had been half an hour later we would have been out of luck as it was packed out and busy with takeaways. All our choices were well cooked, presented and very generous portions. Attentive service. As other reviews have mentioned, soft drinks only but a Spar across the road to BYO.

Had an early evening booking for a table of 7. Staff very attentive and service very good. Great choice on menu and quite honestly the curry was genuinely the tastiest I have had for a very long time. Thanks

We had the set meal for two. Absolutely, delicious and good portions. The service was friendly. Got our beers from the nearby shop as BYO. We’ll be back when next in town.

Got large take away for 7 people. Food was 30mins late. When we got home there were 2 dishes missing (about £16 worth). Because it took so long getting the initial order couldn’t be bothered going back. Very disappointing.

Excellent food and great service, ate here twice in one weekend because it was so good.

We enjoyed a really good curry, good service and a lively atmosphere. So good, we went back the following day. I have no idea why the average rating isn't higher. N. B. They don't currently have a license, so bring any beer or wine you want with you.

Me and my husband visited here on the 3/3/24 for an evening meal. Fantastic food, great service a lovely place. We highly recommend, if we are in the area again we would definitely come back. Thanks for a lovely meal.

Great service,friendly staff and lovely food

This Indian restaurant was amazing, we have eaten in many Indian restaurants all over the world & this is up there in the top 5. The chicken tikka starter is served with a homemade onion chutney, which is sweet & tastes fantastic. Onion bhajis were the lightest we have ever had. The garlic naan bread is the best we have ever eaten, cooked with fresh garlic, fluffy & hot. The main dishes were chicken tikka masala & chicken dopiaza - again faultless, melt in the mouth chicken in abundance. Served with pilau rice & chips (requested change from Bombay aloo) All this delicious food was on a set menu for 2, at a very reasonable £37 !! We can’t wait to return. The restaurant does not serve alcohol but you can take your own (there is a local Spar shop across the road)

Super family takeaway on Sunday night. Ordered online and paid by card on collection. Food was tasty and cooked fresh in quick order. Highly recommended.

Nice enough food, tad pricey would probably have been more though but they didn't sell alcohol. That was a shame after a day climbing.

Had the good fortune to eat in this restaurant twice last week. On both occasions we were very happy with the food quality, quantity and price. All dishes were well prepared and nicely presented and most importantly of all, delicious. The staff were very friendly, welcoming and super efficient! If you get a chance to visit them then don't waste it. You won't be disappointed.

Just had a fabulous meal in very pleasant surroundings. Staff excellent. I’ve never had so much succulent chicken in a Dopiaza. We will definitely visit again.

Flavour is there but i am quite surprised to pay extra 4 pounds for rice 🍚

The food is so delicious and the service is so good..

Group of 4 and we all had a different starter and mains and the food was delicious. The service was polite and quick. The Naan bread was old school and amazing. Highly recommend and will gladly be back and bring our own beer next time.

We stopped at Spice of Llanberis on our way back home after hiking Snowdon. We were surprised to find a Bangladeshi/Indian restaurant here but were extremely satisfied with the service. The food was delicious, we had saag paneer, tarka daal, sizzling lamb and one of the chicken curries with naan and rice. The meat was fully halal. The staff were extremely friendly and gave us recommendations according to our preference. Will be sure to come back in the future!

Good Bangladeshi/indian cuisine and good service from the owner. One thing to improve is to have desserts on the menu.

Very expensive food very average

With no booking, we managed to get a table for 2, about 10 people already in the place already, nice greeting and friendly staff, made our choices of 4 poppadoms with chutneys, then lemon rice and spiced spinach to go with our lamb Naga and recommendation of the sizzling lamb which I had Madras hot, the poppadoms were the crispiest I have ever had, not a drop of oil on them, the tamarind chutney was awesome.....rice well flavoured, as were the curries, nice warmth to them, finally a proper Naga! The sizzling platter was lovely, tiny smoked chilies, cardamom and cassia through it...top notch, wasn't expecting anything this good at the bottom of Snowdon! Many thanks gentleman....

We booked a table for 6 @7:30 on a Saturday evening, but when we got there it appeared that they had given our table away, along with that of others too. The place was rammed and we had to stand out in the rain for about 3/4 hot waiting for space. Once we were in, however, the food was very good. Staff pleasant but too busy to engage!

Booked a table for 8.30. Finally got one at 10.30. Apparently no veg left so couldn't fulfill the order. No alternative offered, discount etc

We ordered a takeaway which was taken over the fone, we were given a time and the food was ready when we arrived. The dishes were plentiful and very tasty. I would highly recommend this restaurant, will definitely visit again

We visited on a Tuesday night. Llanberis itself was very quiet, so we were pleasantly surprised to see about 6 people in. It was a bring your own beer, so we popped over to the Spar to get a bottle of wine and some beer. I ordered Chicken Tandoori Biryiani and my wife ordered a Lamb dish. Both dishes were very tasty, and the lamb was tender. The bill was very reasonable because there were no drinks our waiter was also friendly. I would expect this place to be packed in Summer. Recommended.

Fantastic food and great friendly service, highly recommended

Last night, I tried the Tandoori chicken and it was truly amazing! The chicken was incredibly flavorful and tender, cooked to perfection. The accompanying sauce added a delightful kick, complementing the dish beautifully. I can't wait to go back and try their Biryani soon.

Poor quality food . Never had a madras so watery and tasteless in my entire life . Spicy soup springs to mind . Rude waiters . If you live in a big town like Manchester , Leeds etc with decent sorry houses . you will be severely disappointed with this place . Won’t be returning here . Prices are expensive also

A really nice Indian/Bangladeshi restaurant! A hidden Gem! The service was great and the waiter who took our order made sure we picked the dishes that are suited to our taste (not sweet curries, but more spicy) and the food came out exactly how we wanted it. Very delicious. Parking by the lake not far from the restaurant. Bring your own alcohol though, and they don't serve desserts.

Wouldn’t recommend - the curries we ordered were extremely sweet (Korma and tikka masala).. something I have never experienced before in a curry. The sauce was not spiced well at all and the consistency was not good.. very sad in a small town with not many options

This restaurant was surprisingly good. It was an only option for me after climbing Snowden Mountain at 9pm. All of the food was fresh and tasty. Never had such good lamb in any other Indian restaurant.

We ate here last year and had a great meal, we all like Indian food and remarked on how good it was. Perhaps the owner/manager has changed, this time it was disappointing, across 7 meals the standard was ok but nothing special, my Welsh lamb sizzler didn't have much flavour and what meat there was was tender but really fatty. Veg rice was very oily. They no longer have a bar but you can bring your own beer if you want to. Service was ok.

Surprisingly good quality food. I did not expect the food to be as good as it was as it looked like a small and cramped restaurant however, I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of food as well as the service. Overall a good experience.

May not suit Asian palate preferences. Despite ordering recommended curries from the manager, all dishes curries and biryanis turned out overly sweet with no spice kick. On the upside, service was satisfactory

We had a great time in this restaurant. The staff was really helpful and we had a warm welcome to the restaurant and the best thing is that we waited only less than 10min even for our main course!!!! Would really recommend ❤️❤️

Amazing food and really good value for money. Excellent range of dishes on offer and friendly staff who were very responsive and on hand when we needed anything. This is BYOB so does make the final meal considerably cheaper than most restaurants, but that did not deter from the high-quality food we had.

For £4.30 these 2 measly little meat samosas better have been hand made with meat from the finest animals drinking the cleanest waters from the snowdonia springs.

Great food cooked with quality ingredients and served with a smile. Right on the foot of the Llanberis path where you catch the train. I would highly recommend it if you are visiting the area or residents. Fantastic ingredients cooked fresh to order

We were looking for some recharging goodies after climbing Snowden summit and we ended up going here. The food was very delicious, fair prices and friendly staff. Would definitely recommend 👌

One of my worst veg food experience. I ordered Garlic Naan, it was so thick and uncooked. I also ordered dal tadka and kadhai paneer both were tasteless. And dal was fully meshed while paneer was undercooked. Will not recommend this for veg food.

Got take away, ordered online in advance but no confirmation email to had to call to confirm. Food wasn’t ready when we went in at collection time. Waiting for 10 minutes. Food was fine and we’d eat it again if we were visiting but wouldn’t make a special trip.

What is a better way of spending an evening having run 28 miles across Snowdonia! Good food, great staff in the best restaurant in Llanberis! Just one thing… pop into the Spa shop, almost opposite before arriving for dinner… pick up your tipple of choice… the restaurant does have a licence..

Tried this as an alternative to the mostly. traditional UK food available in Llanberis, and we not disappointed. Walked in for an early dinner on a Sunday. We took a bottle of wine from the Spar shop across the street. Service was excellent, and the food was delicious. Easy to select vegetarian (or vegan) options if needed. Definitely worth a visit.

Stopped here for takeout after visiting Mount Snowden. Everything we ordered was so good! It’s all halal. And they do not serve alcohol. The restaurant was kind enough to recommend us food according to our tastes. I got the lamb naga curry, chicken bhuna, mix grill, vegetable pulao, keema naan, chapati, and samosas. The lamb naga was so spicy, just perfect. The chapati was so soft. The vegetable pulao was 10/10. Everything was ready so quick and it was still hot when we arrived at our destination 45 minutes later.

If you're used to Indian food in the Midlands or London don't bother coming here. You will be disappointed. Poppadoms stale, naan undercooked, lamb over cooked... need I say more

walked in really late, got a really nice man to greet us, really nice food tbf, really nice atmosphere with nice chill music and nice lights, definitely would recommend for anyone in the area

Six of us descended on this restaurant at short notice. Despite being very busy we were welcomed and looked after. The food was incredible and service was exemplary. One of the best meals I have had in a long time.
