What an amazing find…. Stating locally for a couple of nights… popped in as we were incredibly hungry… amazing food, fast and lovely service.

I’ve been coming here from last year. The food is extremely delicious. You can’t find a better place in llanberis than this. Excellent service and the restaurant looks very clean and tidy. The food is always on top notch 👌👌

Delicious! Our family loved the balti, pappadums, chutneys, cheese naan, saag paneer, and chicken makhani. Went back 2nd night for take out after a long hike. Very attentive staff.

Had a lovely dinner with my partner. We got the set menu for two, which we supplemented one of the main dishes for lamb. Food was tasty! Service was great, restaurant is clean and staff friendly

On our four night stay over the Christmas break we ate here twice which says something about the food, I only took photos on the second visit on New Years Eve and the place was full, first visit I had the chicken Shaslik which was on a sizzler which was delicious, we would definitely go again if we’re in the area. You can take in your own alcohol.

Good curry house, nice tasting food with plenty of fresh spice. Generous portions. Not cheap but good food.

We ordered takeaway. 10/10 service excellent food ready when they said and the food was exceptional! The best Indian takeaway I have had in years! Ordered online cash on collection, and I really can't recommend Spice enough. We will absolutely order from here again when we come back to Llanberis. I had the chicken Caylon, with special fried rice and garlic naan, absolutely delicious!

Superb, second time here and just as good as the first wish I lived a bit closer than a 4hr drive. Superb service from Khadiza who was polite and excellent will be back as soon as we can.

So good we came 2 nights in a row. Highly recommend the Garlic Chilli Chicken dishes and the Lamb Karahi too. The staff were very pleasant and the atmosphere welcoming. Don't forget to take your own alcohol, they will provide the glasses. Looking forward to returning on our next visit to Llanberis😊

We visited on a Saturday night and the restaurant was fairly busy at the time but we were served straight away. The food was excellent, freshly cooked and very tasty. We are going to make a booking for a party of friends as a result of this visit. * There is a bring your own alcohol option so we used the local Spar to buy local craft beers and were provided with glasses and a bottle opener by the restaurant

I excepted Indian food but this don’t fit me and my wife. Desert was frozen pulled straight from freezer and food curry oily. Rice was without taste all I tasted was just hot without any additional taste. Drinks are just cola sprite etc

Here with a very late review, but visited Spice of Llanberis a couple of years ago, and in all honesty, one of the best. I've been to a lot of restaurants, and aside from a couple of minor ordering issues (not really an issue, since the staff were just as stupified about a customer bragging about climbing a mountain in most inappropriate and risky kit)...a superb restaurant. Absolutely would recommend. Great service, great food, reasonable prices. Big fat thumbs up 👍

I loved this place- I can’t recommend it more. The music makes it feel almost like an experience. I would particularly recommend the onion barji. The options are incredibly vast and delicious. Very good experience.

We really enjoyed our evening here. It was pouring with rain and a sunday night and restaurant could not have been more welcoming and friendly and we had last available table. We had the sizzling platters which were delicious. BYO also helps the budget! We would definitely go again

After a day of strenuous activity in Snowdonia, this is a perfect pit stop. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal - friendly, welcoming & really good food. BYO alcohol is great esp with local shop metres away.

Photos don't do it justice Food absolutely FANTASTIC, best 'Indian' - curry we've had in about 20 odd years Massive chunks of fresh perfectly cooked chicken, everything exquisitely spiced ......... I'm starting to sound like I own the place BUT it really is that good We had the set menu for 2 @ £37 No alcohol served but a pint of diet coke was ONLY £2.80 2 massive starter portions, Garlic naan bread to die for (soaked in Ghee & fresh garlic) both chicken dishes perfect....... even our usual moan about dish 'Bombay Potatoes' were perfectly cooked 👏👏👏 We'll definitely be back and will be planning trips to Wales around coming in here Waiter even brought over extra lemon slices after spotting me eating the ones supplied with the starters......... now that is A1 service from serving staff So glad we didn't walk past and go to the fish n chip shop Good work fellas 👏

We got a takeout it was very nice we enjoyed it. We would go back again so I recommend it. The food tasted lovely and freshly made.

We stopped in Llanberis for a weeks holiday and we where looking for a place to eat and spotted this curry house and we were not sure if it was going to be good or bad but we were extremely pleased with the quality of the food and the staff were really friendly I would recommend spice off llanberis to anyone who wants a meal it’s a great place

The restaurant was packed and buzzing - helps to book ahead. Because of this, we had to wait quite a while between starter and main course but it was well worth it - really fresh and flavoursome curry.

No frills but a great meal. The staff were great and the menu was extensive. The restaurant has a bring your own alcohol policy but does have soft drinks available. The restaurant had a lovely atmosphere and also offers takeaway service for those self catering.

I booked at 6pm for a 7pm pickup. I sat for an hour being told "it'll just be 20 minutes" and "just 5 more minutes". This company needs to learn to set expectations. I had very tired and hungry children waiting for food. Had the waiter been honest about the delay we could have planned around the problem instead of being fobbed off for an hour. To the owner: Your website lets your customers choose a pickup time. If you are not capable of getting anywhere near this promise, do not include it on your website.

I placed an order online to collect about an hour later. The ordering process was first-rate - extremely easy and straightforward. When I arrived to collect, the staff could not have been more friendly and welcoming. My order was ready on time and they even threw in complimentary poppadoms. The food was piping hot and superb quality. Our meal was really tasty and portions were generous. I would not hesitate to eat from here again on my next visit.

Nice Indian halal food at good price. Very close to the snowdon mountain railway station. We tried sizzler chicken curry as recommended by staff and it great. Very nice staffs. They even gave us complimentary tea.

Had a long drive from Gloucester and thought a curry would be the perfect end to the day. Ordered the Butter Chicken, Welsh Lamb Karahi, Sag Paneer, rice and nan for two. Wait was about 20 minutes or so despite it being busy. Staff were pleasant, calm and attentive. Food was delicious, especially the lamb which was tender and flavourful. Will return!

Very good quality food at a good price, especially considering busy location-- Service excellent, including heated rose face towel at the end. Food fantastic, I got the Royal Bhuna, Mushroomm rice and Naan was one of the best I've had.

We were camping locally and always have a curry. This was the local curry house so we headed down. After ordering we notice a huge amount of traffic from locals getting takeaways (on a Monday night) which is usually a good sign. I ordered a custom biriyani and they were more than happy to make it for me, my mate ordered the Rezella - something I’ll defo have next time. The food was very good and we were more than happy. When the bill came and it was £40.20 we were shocked as we expected it to cost more. The prices to eat in cost more than the takeaway menus they provide outside. We also had a laugh, my friend asked for 2 popadums each, I signalled “3” to the waiter and we only got 3 in total, he must’ve thought we were proper cheap. Defo be back!

Ordered a takeaway from this place , really really poor “, had lamb tikka starter and was like chewing leather , lamb tikka madras tasted like it had been cooked on the same oil as the chips, basmati pilau rice was bland chicken Ghosht had fatty old oils after taste to the sauce. Would not return to this place and after a bill of £44 for a takeaway there wasn’t so much as a complimentary popadom.

Great tasty food and well priced. We went with a 9 and 11 year old, and all 4 of us really enjoyed our meals. Staff were attentive, not overbearing and friendly. We went on a very wet rainy night and stayed quite a while after we'd finished eating. Never once did we feel pressured. Lovely place, and I'd definitely go back.

I always order our take-away online. The format is clear and easy to follow and allows you to take time building your meal! I like the fact I can choose a time for collection and it's always a short wait for the final parts to be freshly cooked. I live 10 minutes away by car... and everything is always still hot. There is an option to note specific needs, and as I'm moderately allergic to fresh chillies, I know my meal will be cooked without this addition. I can really enjoy eating, knowing it's 'safe' for me. On collection I'm always greeted with a smile and perfect service. This is the only 'Indian' food I ever eat - I can't recommend 'Spice of Llanberis' enough.

We ate here twice out of our 4 evenings in town and absolutely loved it. The food was great, the service was friendly and we found the fact that we were allowed to bring our own wine was a good and cost-effective solution.

Terrific food at a good price, especially considering the tourist heavy location--the night before I'd eaten farther away from the mountain and got a bad deal. Service excellent, including heated rose face towel at the end. Food fantastic, I got the Lamb Nawabi, lemon rice, combo starter, and mango juice. Bring-your-own-alcohol policy is good too, there's a convenience store a couple blocks down with very wide liquor selection. They'll give you a glass and take away your empty bottles as well.

Last minute decision to come down here as the weather was really bad and we were camping. Ordered the set meal for 2 to avoid having to choose from the menu and we weren’t disappointed. Good quality food for the price.

The food was good. The spice level was at the high end for the graded indications but the flavours were great. If you want alcohol, you need to bring your own (it's clearly stated in the window and on their website) but they serve soft drinks. The service was mostly good but our drinks took a long time to arrive. The restaurant was very busy with both eat in and take away when we arrived so it took a while for the main meals to arrive. Overall, this is a good place to eat in Llanberis.

I got recommend a lamb sizzler and it was 10/10 loved the food it also came out pretty quick! Super nice servers, would love to come back. Especially since you can bring your own beer!

We had a great dining experience at Spice of Llanberis. Curry was very good and BYOA meant we were able to get our hands on a lovely bottle of Chateauneuf Du Pape from Spar up the road. Lovely service and very friendly staff.

Today me and my friend went to pen y pass (via miners track)climbing snowdonia.after coming back we are very hungry and we are decided to stay any nearby restaurants and we found Spice of Llanberis.we are ordering Tanduri chickens main dish and garlic nan.it was very tender dish.nan and chicken was very soft ,yummy and we full fill our stomach.staff and manager behaviour was amazing.thank you for your warm reception.

The banana chicken was excellent and I‘m glad the mango lassi comes in a jug, because I could drink it all day.

Some of the best Indian food I’ve ever had. The butter chicken was perfect and saucy. The garlic naan was baked nice and fluffy. And the mango lassi was such a sweet treat. Not to mention the wonderful service. Definitely deserves to have more clientele here. If you’re in town please go check them out !

Nice find. Good food in a beauty spot.

The food was fine, the chicken vindaloo was certainly not hot for 5 peppers, the silsila chicken was a bit spicy and sweet, a great combination with enough vegetables, the naan was really delicious. But we probably liked the onion bhaji the most and the sauce that was served with it, it was really amazing. The restaurant was rather cold because of the air conditioning, so even the hot food didn't warm up much.

Picked up a take away on the way back through after being out walking. Very short wait and the food was all absolutely spot on. Staff were very polite. Even my wife was very impressed and she is very fussy when it comes to trying somewhere different. Will definately visit again.

Fantastic service, the chicken tikka masala was beautiful, I have also had the vegetarian options, and they too are very tasty. I actually find it hard to find a good quality tandoori and I must say this is one of the best I have found.

We recently did a take-away from this place and the whole experience and food was awesome. Our order was ready in time for pickup and to our surprise, we were given 2 pappadoms and mango chutney as free complementary items. A big thumbs up for the food portions, taste and spicy level. The mango chutney was really yummy. Highly recommend them, esp. if you are visiting Llanberis & craving for some good Indian food.

Really tasty meal out and a great evening. Onion bhajis, lamb karahi were both particularly delicious, and we had some incredible Naans alongside as well. It was BYOB when we went.

We always visit this curry house after summiting Yr Wyddfa. This time our 6 year old had summited with us, so joined us at the restaurant. The staff were very welcoming to all 3 of us and the food was excellent too. Our kiddo had something from the children's menu, chicken nuggets and chips, which he enjoyed. Very kind of them to serve jain food (without onion garlic potato) to us...they tried their very best to accommodate to our specific dietary requirements...all our queries were answered patiently... Even it was not on their menu they made fresh curry for us and the food tasted very good also quantity was good...happy with the service... Thanks...
