Lovely little place food very good and fresh we ate in the restaurant was quite as it was a sunday evening will be going again before we go home

Cash only. Food was really decent, with sensible potions and loads of flavour - modhu minty was definitely an eye opener! Ordered on arrival and was ready in less than 15 mins. Top score - would definitely visit again!

Use on a regular basis when in the area, staff are friendly and accommodating, never had a problem with any of the food ordered, not sure about the comments on delivery ? no food establishment in this village does delivery ?

Not cheap, curry was very greasy, and mixed grill was very very dry

The best Indian we’ve ever had! Food was heaven: sag aloo, bhuna, rogan, tikka masala - all cooked to perfection. The staff were wonderful, I forgot one of my belongings and they chased after us to give it back, 10/10 customer service. 10/10 food. highly recommend!

Consistently our favourite Indian Restaurant in Snowdonia. Always a nice greeting as well as a good chef, you can tell Lemon Tree cook fresh to order. It’s cash only but x2 cash machines 1 min away. Comfy to eat in or choose to takeaway.

I'm an avid curry lover and these weren't good curries. Both mine my patterns dishes were identical (chicken in a brown masala). Mine was a chicken Patthia and hers was a chicken biryani. It wasn't even close to Biryani. They didn't taste awful but not good by far.

We collected a takeaway the food was ok and the portion were decent. The reason for the 4 star is that they only accept cash and there is no bank close by to withdraw cash.

Everything was fantastic considering they were short staffed. The waiter was very apologetic about the shortage but it was a lovely evening.

A pleasant meal, but was made clear we had to eat quickly as they were preparing to close - we arrived about 22.00.

Just picked up our takeout, absolutely disgusting. I ended up with lots of waterr on my plate from the butter chicken & boiled rice, no taste whatsoever from the main dish. Chicken tikka pathia was passable if you like not so tender chicken!! The garlic nam bread was like rubber. Shame on you for serving such atrocious food. A waste of money.

Portion sizes were perfect for us. Price was average for an India. The food was lovely, very tasty. First time I've ordered a Garlic based meal and could properly taste the garlic for a change. The young waitress was lovely, very attentive and polite. This restaurant could do with a little love ie new table cloths and a lick of paint, but was perfectly comfortable.

We used to go here lots - it was our favourite, but what has happened??? The food has shrunk in size , grown in price and is really watery and quite flavourless ! I’m afraid it’s not what it used to be and I hate leaving bad reviews but honestly it’s not for me. Very disappointed.

Got a takeaway from here when we were visiting Wales. The food was good but caters for an English pallette. Most dishes adapted for the locals. Yes, the Tarka Daal was still very authentic. The nan bread was a bit sweet. Again, adapted.

We ordered three different dishes and the three of them were delicious, with surprisingly wood combinations of flavours. Abdul, the owner, was very attentive and made the whole experience very enjoyable

The most disgusting Indian food I ever had in my life and I’m Indian. We went for a trip near this place and tried first the tandoori chicken which is the most basic Indian food in the restaurants and it was just tomato paste with sugar here. But I wanted to give it another chance and we went back after a few days and ordered butter chicken which is another basic Indian food but it was just the same sugary sauce with chicken. I have never went to an Indian restaurant that could make these two dishes bad. It was one of the most horrible experience.

Portion sizes are really small and the prices are too high for reheated food. We went on a Sunday evening and it was quite hot and no AC.

Was trying to find place to eat that was open been driving for nearly an hour as everywhere said they were closed/closing as it’s a Tuesday night. Stumbled on this little gem. We ordered a takeaway which included a Lamb Tikkka Balti, unfortunately all we could taste was salt. If we want salt we can add it!! its the spices we want to taste. Spoilt the whole meal so won't be ordering again. Shame as the rest of the meal was okay. Stick with Sima in future

Food was delicious, staff friendly, prices reasonable. All I'd say that took away from the experience was the drinks had less fizz than they should have, it was like drinking flat coke.

Food was very nice but their website prices is much higher when you come to pay, ours came to £5 on top of advertised price 🥺 not too happy about this

Firstly the food here is absolutely amazing i would recommend the food here to absolutely everyone! Not only the food is amazing but so are the staff a waiter called Llinos was very friendly and helpful with us. This place is not to be missed if ever around the area.

Absolutely fantastic. Great meal, nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Only criticism is that it’s cash only - although as the spar newsagents next door has a free to use cash machine this wasn’t a major issue

Never go here the owner refused to serve me as he was closing at 930pm and it was 8pm when we walked in to eat, there was 5 of us and we are big spenders but he refused and said I can only do TAKEAWAY at this time .....if we wanted a TAKEAWAY we would have ordered it to our villa....anyway we ended up ordering a delivery the next day and the food was cold and absolutely vile, the naan bread was hard like it had been in a freezer the curry was cold and chicken was uncooked.....it's a 0 star from us....went down the road to Sima restaurant and Wow what an amazing guy and the food was 10 out of 10

Food was lovely. Service a little slow but was one of only a few places open in the area and it was busy doing take away service as well as the restaurant.

Visited the Lemon Tree while staying in the area, probably the best Indian food I've tasted - delicious!

Our takeaway order was placed on-line and the system worked very efficiently. The chap that greeted me on entering to pick up the order was pleasant and courteous. When we got home to eat I asked my wife what her chicken bhuna was like and without prompting she replied "salty" which was like my vegetable balti. My balti had two huge pieces of potatoes in it and a quarter of a raw tomato and virtually no vegetables. The large amount of onions were of the same texture of overcooked tagliatelle with no crunch whatsoever - evidently not cooked that evening. So in summary - not very tasty, too salty and scant vegetables. My wife said hers was similar but at least it had plenty of chicken in it. The more I've written the more I've recalled how bad it was.

We had a fabulous experience, staff very attentive and the food was absolutely delicious, if we lived in Anglesey, this would be our regular restaurant. You must try it Out! 😉

Pretty much the only option in the village for meat eaters but thankfully it’s a great one. We had poppadoms starters and mains and all the food was excellent. If it was my local curry house I’d be delighted. As it is I’ll be stopping by the next time I’m in the area.

Fresh, beautifully cooked dishes that are consistently high quality. I would personally recommend the Southern Garlic and Chili Chicken, if you like a nice punch and tons of flavour! Staff are warm and friendly, SD adhered to. The one (tiny) down side is they only take cash at the moment. Takeaway available on the full menu

We are on a family holiday and phoned this restaurant at short notice as the place we booked Spice of Lanbaris double booked us.We where a party of 10 and they took us in at short notice.The service was excellent and the food was superb.We would strongly recommend this restaurant for quality of the food and service.

We were super impressed sed with everything about this place! The food was simply amazing had had a lot of different dishes to chose from and had a great vegan and vegetarian selection also. There staff were really bubbly and very helpful. Overall the service was amazing and couldn’t fault anything about the place. Will definitely be coming back here very soon

Solid Indian restaurant. One of the few places that wasn't full up when we were camping this way.

I ate here again for the first one since lockdown and I wasn't disappointed.I had the chicken puri starter and my friend had the mixed kebab. We shared and it was all delicious. Then I had the sizzling garlic king prawn bhuna and the prawns were cooked to perfection, not overcooked like I have had in other places. My friend had the South Indian garlic chilli chicken which smellled ovely.The take away side was busy bur the waitress was very good and was managing both sides well. I am going to try ordering a takeaway on line next week.

Lovely meal, good service. We came here 3 years ago too and the food was just as tasty as last time. We had takeout later the same week (we were on holiday), and enjoyed this too. I keep having rubbish king prawn puri’s so much so I didn’t order one when we sat in but I did order one with our takeout, and it was delicious, thank you!!! Hope to come again next time we holiday in Wales!

Had a meal here as were staying in the local area & were so glad we did! Staff were great, really efficient service & the food was lovely. Paid about the same as we’d pay back home & overall really impressed.

Unfortunately this evening all the restaurants around the area we were staying were closed. Thinking we were going to resort to a McDonald's we came across this takeaway. The ordering was one of the easiest systems I've come across, ordering online via their website and then we drove and picked it up, it was all ready waiting very quick and simple. Food was delicious, and had plantbased options for me too which is great to see. Not a disadvantage for us, but please note- we did have to go to the post office round the corner to get cash out for this takeaway as they don't accept card.

We have been to this restaurant many times as we live locally. Recently ordered a takeaway. Food was average to be fair, however this review concerns the two young ladies at the front of house. They couldn’t have been less interested in there jobs. Both need a lesson in customer service and how to interact with customers who are paying part of the wages. They need to buck up there attitude and the owner who was present should spend less time chatting socially with them and concentrate on training. Very poor atmosphere.

Hi, the service from the young waitress was very good. Butter chicken needs work. The chicken jalfrezy was tasting ok missing more sauce from the dishes. Didn't like the boss arguing all the time with our waitress giving her a hard time. All together from the food: tasted better, not the worst, not the best. Because of the atmosphere I give 2 stars.

We went here because the Indian in Harlech was not open. It was more expensive (£20pp). They got our order wrong (didn’t realise until we were home), and the curries were really disappointing. The Korma (which we didn’t order) had way too much coconut shavings in and sugar that it was pretty much inedible. The other prawn dish was meant to be spicy and it wasn’t. It was 80% sauce so not much in/to the curries. The sauce was quite thin for a curry too. The egg fried rice was really under seasoned (or not at all). The chips, Naan & onion Bhajis were decent at least. We left most of it, it was such a waste- definitely will not be coming again and wouldn’t recommend! Hope the Indian in Harlech opens up soon!

Fantastic Bangladeshi curry house. I've had a takeaway from there and they made my lamb Rogan Josh just the way I like it! Probably one of the best I've had to be honest.

Called in on Bank Holiday Monday on the off chance whilst passing on our way back to Barmouth. The service was very friendly and food only took 20 minutes. I deducted a star purely because the Dhansak wasn’t as hot as I normally expect it. However we would order again! Portion sizes were generous. Very good value!

Staying a couple of nights in the area when all the restaurants are closed, so chose this takeaway. Made the right decision! First night had a biryani which was yum; second night had a minted lamb which I enjoyed but just not as much as the biryani! Recommended.

We came here as a last minute booking whilst on holiday, we throughly enjoyed our meal and the owner was so friendly and made us feel welcome. The food was delicious and if we lived around the area we would definitely return! Made us have a lovely evening, definitely recommend!

I had a take away veg madras with pilau rice. Curry was nice, the rice was ok. The young lady who took my order could do with a welcoming smile.

Booked via phone as we were away and I really wanted Indian. Please note this restaurant are only currently taking cash payments. We had onion Bhaji, chicken tikka masala, Bombay potatoes, rice and naan. All really nice and not greasy at all. Husband commented that the masala was thick and creamy. Tables were well spaced for social distancing. Lovely woman serving but she was the only one there so a bit rushed off her feet. Would go back.

Mai dad lyfs going here, he sbends ofyr 100 cwid when me and him goes.Mai ffavourite is the garlic tika masala, ddy man there givs us extra popadoms and mai dad does very ffyni jokes to him.I hav knocked one star off because Osian used to work here but he dont no more and ai miss him.

Been for a curry with my mum several times. The food is always good, and service is friendly and not too intrusive. We went tonight for the first time after lockdown, the place was BUSY, but as always nothing was too much trouble, the staff coped really well, even when a couple got stroppy over waiting for food. Decent food, nice atmosphere and friendly people serving, definitely worth a visit.

Having read good reviews I was looking forward to dinner at The Lemon Tree.I am not quite sure about the legalities of having a priced menu and selling food for more but be warned this establishment provides a menu and a waitress who says the prices have increased by about 20p per dish. When our bill came, the prices had gone up by about £1.50 per item including one which was originally £3.50.The waitress said when challenged that it is the curries which have increased by 20p and would we like her to remove the additional charge, which we did and she did, reducing our bill by £4.00. Thank you.Apart from the average Special Biriyani, which now comes in at £11.95 up from £10.50 and the poor and slightly worrying Tandoori Special which contained a chicken leg, possibly old or reheated or possibly part cooked on gas then finished in the microwave (see below), very bland and strange tasting shish kebabs and some ok chicken pieces, now £11.50, things were ok, nothing special and expensive for the portion sizes.To add to the farce, after we got our food, the waitress told others that the kitchen had run out of Gas and someone was fetching some so food was delayed at least half an hour. Several families with small children left for the Chinese takeaway and Pizza and Kebab Grill down the road. We all have bad days I understand that and I hope they get back to the “Best in North Wales” days but I think they need to be careful with pricing and quality oh and having gas to cook by!!

We went with our 10 year old and 3 year old as we was staying in Porthmadog. I like think i know a little about Indian food and this was the nicest i have had, Tasty,Right blend of spices, Friendly atmosphere and very helpful staff, I even asked the owner if he could deliver to Manchester once we returned home.Thank you for a wonderful meal.

Stopped of at this restaurant on our way back from snowdon. they where very accommodating and we where able to get a table with out booking. staff where polite and friendly, service was fast, and food was very tasty. I would recommend to overs visting the area.
