12/06/2021: Came here last weekend. Had a starter, main course and a couple of kingfishers. The menu is quite substantial but for a restaurant that claims to be the best in wales, although nice, I’ve had better. I had the Achari for main with keema naan and boiled rice. For starter I had chicken malai kebab.
06/06/2021: Lovely food,brilliant staff,well worth a visit

Bombay Joes

Nefyn, Gwynedd
05/06/2021: Lovely staff. Great food. Fab prices. Bill came to £58 for three of us with drinks!!! Everyone enjoyed their food. I ordered the king prawn balti and it was delicious. Great little find. The Peshawar naan was a delight, perfectly cooked and not at all stodgy. It was light and just the right amount of crispness to the edges. Staff were so helpful and attentive.Would I recommend, yes.Would I return, yes.My sister is very picky, but even she conceded that the food was lovely. She wasn't struck on the outside of the restaurant. It's on a main rd, so attracts dust and dirt. A daily wash down with a hose before opening would do wonders for the outer appearance.
03/06/2021: Had a takeaway from Bombay joes tonight very very nice would highly recommend this restaurant tasty food with a very good selection, service and price.would definitely eat here again

The Millbank Inn

Rhyl South West, Denbighshire

Indiana Cuisine

Bryn-crug/Llanfihangel,Llangelynin, Gwynedd
19/04/2021: Once again a great take away from Indiana. Food excellent, well worth a visit. Can’t wait for my next trip.
31/01/2021: Moved to the area 10 days ago, tried a take away and were very impressed, full of flavour, loads of meat in both the lamb and chicken curries. Rice, side dish and the crispy onion bhaji strips all super. Really look forward to actually dining IN the restaurant, once restrictions allow, to enjoy the full in-house dining experience.

Bengal Spice

Seiont, Gwynedd
26/05/2021: Staying in caenarfon for a few days with the family. Visited here and the food was amazing, the staff were very friendly and made us and the kids feel welcome. Would certainly reccomend.
05/04/2021: This was the best Indian food I’ve had in a long time, it was so good. The garlic naan was literally the best I have ever had. I also had a chicken bhuna which was absolutely delicious, just the best, so tasty I have no words. I just wished I lived closer so I could visit more often. If you are fortunate enough to visit Caernarfon then you must eat here. An added bonus is that it is very reasonably priced too - what’s not to love?

Suhail Tandoori Indian

Prestatyn East, Denbighshire
03/06/2021: We visited here tonight as a family of 4. The food was delicious as always and the customer service was great! Our little ones especially appreciated the extra chocolate at the end of the meal! We will no doubt be visiting again soon! Highly recommended! Thanks!
30/05/2021: We went to treat ourselves with having lockdown. The staff couldn't do enough for you. Nothing was too much trouble. We were spaced apart from other guests in the restaurant. Food was amazing. Staff had PPE on. They made you feel very welcome.

Sopna Indian Restaurant

Tysilio, Isle of Anglesey
14/06/2021: Food was absolutely fantastic and the staff couldn't do enough for you definitely deserve 10 out of 10 will definitely be going there again thank you
13/06/2021: Food was fantastic, spicy, tasty, not masked by heat! Very friendly chatty staff. Highly ecommended 🙂

Spice of Llanberis

Llanberis, Gwynedd
07/06/2021: live in the village. tried the mix grill for a takeaway. had a free masala sauce. the food was amazing. Highly would go for it.
05/06/2021: Ordered food & drinks, all arrived fine & the food was nice. But as the restaurant got busier & the takeaway customers queued up they couldn’t cope. We finished our food & drinks, the table wasn’t cleared & we weren’t offered any more drinks or dessert. After 20 mins we got up & paid at the counter. Such a shame as it’s the makings of a good business but it just seemed the owner was greedy & didn’t want to employ more staff to cope with the demand.

Sima Tandoori

Porthmadog East, Gwynedd
12/05/2021: Very test curry amazing 👏 we will visite again thank you Very good 👍 we will order again Thank you
02/04/2021: Phoned my order in as there was a queue to order, no delivery service was available but said food would be ready in 30mins which it was. The food was well cooked not oily and full of flavour, all well packed in a decent sized takeaway bag

Meghna Tandoori

Beaumaris, Isle of Anglesey
15/05/2021: Staying in holiday accommodation we ordered food online at 2.30 pm, for delivery at 6pm. Order confirmed by email at 3 pm. 7pm no food. Tried calling (two numbers and emailed). After 79 redials got through to ask where the food was. Takeaway hung up mid call. Tried again and gave up after 232 redials. Cobbled together something to eat from breakfast supplies and at 8 pm got a call from the delivery driver who said the kitchen was very busy. We said we no longer wanted the food.Very poor indeed. Would score zero if that were possible.
09/05/2021: Having been let down on our first night with a pre booked hot meal to collect from a local golf club we checked Trip Adviser and found this place, when we called in to order were told 45 minutes so went for a walk around Beaumaris. The food was ready on time even though they were busy and both the vegetarian and meat courses were excellent . WE tried them later in the week and they were happy to deliver again on time and very good

Little Indian Chef

Llanddulas, Conwy
09/06/2021: Three of us had a takeaway which was a bit overpriced, especially considering the portion size. However, my complaint is that two different dishes tasted the same, the sauce tasted like they used Heinz vegetable soup as a base. One of our party is an Asian lady who said she had never tasted anything like it....and not in a good way! sauce does all! The other meal was chicken tikka masala which had very little flavour, apparently a jar of Pataks Tikka Masala was superior.I would not recommend this Restaurant/Takeaway
03/06/2021: We all really enjoyed the food but it took about an hour to get our mains and felt like we had been forgotten about.

Passage to India

Porthmadog West, Gwynedd

Saffron Indian Restaurant

Abermaw, Gwynedd, <20£
25/05/2021: Staff very friendly and good food at a decent price, beers are limited to bottles and £3.30 for a 330ml lager a little overpriced but the food prices are very good. All in all it ticked the boxes for our outing, many thanks, the Indian guy originally from Oldham was extra special.
23/05/2021: Lovely food. Friendly and positive staff. Reasonable prices. We had a lovely meal and evening. Thank you!

Sopna Indian Restaurant

Seiont, Gwynedd
03/06/2021: I waited a long time for this online order. In the end I drove there early and waited in the car park. I waited a further 20 mins. By now the whole experience took an hour and a half from ordering an ASAP option. When we went home I found they had marked up the curries incorrectly and there was a missing portion of rice. The food itself was extremely sweet and almost unpalatable. The chicken I had was too tough and was hard on the edges. I have given an extra star only because the vegetarian options were liked by my wife and daughter. The onion bahji were over cooked and too hard and dry. Clearly they had a staff issue and so I hope this was not a normal experience. I selected this restaurant based on the reviews.
19/04/2021: Well, what can I say? I'm an avid admirer of the Sopna and have visited the restaurant a couple of times a week when staying at a local holiday park.Mr Shah is such a lovely man and we have had many great nights at the Sopna.I'm not sure what's happened but the fact that I have to write a negative review saddens me.It's not a one off either as we had a takeaway last week and it was awful so we decided to give them the benefit of the doubt and ordered again tonight. All I can say is that it was worse.. my husband ordered samosas which were disgusting, I've had far superior frozen ones from Iceland, at least they didn't end up in the bin like these did. The puri with the king prawn on puri would of Been better used for tramps shoes as they were so thick and soggy. The prawn puri was tasteless and went in the same place as the puri, the bin. My king prawn dilrag was full of green chillies and tasted of little else..what a waste of money..but we gave it a fair chance but we won't be returning. I'm unsure why it's so bad, Covid? Doubt it.Is it because it's just takeaways and it's harder to complain?Whatever the reason its a shame and if you are still there Mr Shah have a good long talk with the chef..The only picture worth taking is the big bag of horrid wasted food..and on a lighter note I do need to diet, so every cloud..
