Raj Balti

Flint Castle, Flintshire
08/03/2019: my friend & i visited last week & was greeted by Tiger who looked after us. we had starters & main courses & the food was amazing.the restaurant doesn,t really look much from the outside but please visit . as you will be pleasantly surprised.the food and service was excellent & this is now by far our favourite Indian restaurant.
26/02/2019: My sister in law and I have eaten at this restaurant a good few times now, the food is consistently very good, really tastey, nothing is ever too much trouble for the guys that served us, they have a wide range of tastey dishes on the menu including fish, which I had last night as a tandori starter, I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a delicious meal at a good cost, well worth a visit or a take away, also if you want to drink alcohol you just take your own which keeps the bill cost right down..always a winner in my book!

Indiana Cuisine

Bryn-crug/Llanfihangel,Llangelynin, Gwynedd
18/03/2019: What an amazing find! It's like eating in a traditional Indian home. Delicious food and a very warm welcome. We will definitely be back.
20/02/2019: We first visited the Indiana 10 years ago soon after it opened and promised we would return, we've only managed to visit two more times but each time it has developed even further. Raj is the perfect host and the food is wonderful. I mentioned that on our first visit he introduced me to fish curry and even though it wasn't on the menu this time, it was specially made for me, and it was delicious From complimentary pakoras while waiting for the first course to the charming host and his staff. This is a great experience. We're planning our next visit already.

Indian Lounge

Cilcain, Flintshire
11/03/2019: We ordered the set menu takeaway for two. The chutney's were nice, and the chicken tikka also. However, the popadoms smelt of rancid cooking fat, the Pasanda I ordered was tasteless with rubbery, bland chicken, and my husband's dansak was equally disappointing. Sadly, about 70 % of the meal went in the bin. I don't know if we just got a bad night as people seem to like this place, but we were very disappointed and won't be trying them again.
10/03/2019: We had booked a table here a few weeks ago as it always seems busy, We arrived and were shown to our table, drinks orders were taken and menus provided. What a great choice of meals there are, will cover most fussy eaters. We had starters of Chicken Pakora, which was succulent chicken strips in batter with sauce and a little salad, and Popadums. All went down very well. Then there was a range of mains, Chicken Jalfrezi, Podina Gusht, which was a very tasty succulent Lamb Dish, Nilgiri Korma, a tasty Chicken Dish and a Chicken Curry. Then we had deserts and coffee's to round off the night. Ambience here was very good. Every table was full and there were many people in and out for take away meals.

Meghna Tandoori

Beaumaris, Isle of Anglesey
14/03/2019: Having visited here once again the food is top notch. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. Please everyone visit you won't be disappointed.
13/03/2019: Been a visitor here for about 4 years and lately it's feeling a little bit in need of some food tlc. Perhaps revisiting the menu options to entice the locals as well as the tourists. Often it can be almost empty (odd to see on a Friday night) which is a surprise considering there is no immediate competition (nearby Menai has two such restaurants). Visited recently and waiter was eager to promote some lamb dishes which (we hadn't appreciated) were the most expensive and didn't really have the 'bang' for the 'buck' especially when compared with the regular Chef's Specials within the menu. Will visit again but only because there's no other option for a curry after a pint locally.

Sopna Indian Restaurant

Tysilio, Isle of Anglesey
07/03/2019: We love Sopna at Menai bridge. Sid is always a fabulous host, charming and friendly with great attention to detail.

The Village Massala

Rhuddlan, Denbighshire
05/03/2019: Went here for the first time last weekend after reading such great reviews. I’m amazed the place consistently gets 5 stars. I can see why the staff get plaudits. They were genuinely lovely and great to interact with. I don’t think this place has been done up since the 70s. The food was average, so much oil in the curry. The portion sizes of the curry were also quite small with minimal meat. I really don’t know why people rave about it. It’s not bad, but it’s certainly not a 5/5 by any stretch. Would I return... mmmmm.... yes, as like i say, it is ok.
05/03/2019: I’ve been only three times the VM, once when it first opened with a party of 12, second just my family and lastly again a party of 12.

Bengal Dynasty

Shotton Higher, Flintshire
07/02/2019: Been twice now but won't return as found a hair in my meal on the buffet evening
03/02/2019: Really nice food. Not your usual buffet, freshly cooked and top quality. Love it! Try it, you won't be sorry.

Jai Ho Indian Restaurant

Deganwy, Conwy
19/03/2019: My husband & I came by this restaurant quite by accident, but what a gift was waiting inside. A really cosy, welcoming atmosphere. The staff could not have been more helpful. My husband loves all spices, the hotter the better! However, I’m quite fussy about spicy food & I can only eat very mild dishes. Everywhere I go I always stick with a Korma, which can get rather tedious. The Manageress/Owner (not sure) came over to help with the menu. She quickly found a dish for my husband with the promise of ‘extra hot’. As for me she offered several mild dishes that I could add to or take away. Whatever I chose I was given the promise of it being mild. She came through on both promises!!! Our individual meals were mouth-wateringly tasty, they were delicious. Our only error was finding this restaurant at the end of our holiday. This year we’ll be making several visits whilst we’re in Conwy for a week. If you get the opportunity don’t miss out on this wonderful find. I promise if you visit you will not be disappointed. Jane & Linus Birmingham
23/02/2019: Food is consistently good - the best Indian we’ve found in north Wales. Family feel where nothing is too much trouble. If you want a meal adapted or have a special request, just ask - Noreen and the team are always happy to oblige. We return time and time again!

Connah's Quay Central, Flintshire
16/01/2019: was ok nothing out of the ordinary the food was good and we had plenty of it even for some left over to have a takeaway, wait wasn't to long and drinks are about average costs,

Quay Fine Dining

Connah's Quay Wepre, Flintshire
04/03/2019: Having just moved to the area we were delighted when we spotted this place whilst out shopping. We booked a table for last Sunday and from entering to leaving we couldn’t have felt more looked after. The decor is amazing and the staff are genuinely friendly and attentive. The food was fresh and tasty and believe me, the garlic nan breads out of this world, so light and crispy, probably the best I’ve ever tasted. We don’t drink alcohol or soft drinks but not a problem as we were allowed to bring our own non alcoholic wine. We can’t wait to book again next week and hopefully over the course of time sample many more dishes from their extensive menu. Well done guys! A superb restaurant and delicious food. Would certainly recommend.
23/02/2019: As a large group the restaurant required a deposit be paid on booking. This seemed fair for a Saturday night as we were booking a third of the available seats.

Red Chilli

Gele, Conwy
25/01/2019: Had another take away from Red Chilli, yet again lovely food, tried different things and overall not disappointed. Looking forward to another visit
19/12/2018: I,be been coming to the take away for 5 years, but the past 3 meals have been absolutely terrible. The first one the naan bread seemed as if it had been dipped in grease and threatened to be cooked. The second one chicken buhna the meat tasted off. And the 3rd one the chicken was completely raw, after complaining twice, they say just bring it back, but I'm not travelling from towyn back up there. Try just serving decent food that way I don't have to put myself out. It's a shame as it used to be a good take away, will never get food from here again
