Food is authentic and to die for. To have a Masala Dosa for £10 is outstanding. Would also recommend the KFC bites and knickerbocker glory.

Stopped for lunch. Not good. Had curry and rice, sauce looked and tasted like it was from a jar in tesco for £2. Not impressed at all and didnt eat rest of day as I felt bloated by it. Not good....

One of the most disappointing dining experiences in Cardiff can be found at this establishment. The owner's attitude is notably arrogant, as they persistently claim their food is the best in town despite feedback indicating otherwise. Despite expressing dissatisfaction with the quality of the food, the owner remains dismissive.

Maybe it was an off day. The chicken tikka lacked any real spice and the meat quality was average. Disappointing ( based on the other reviews). Friendly service, nice location boost the review.

Lovely food lovely people. Great Indian food especially the fried chicken. Try and mix it up each time. Ffwrness along a it also does amazing pizza

went for a quick lunch before the rugby international. It was vwry busy everywhere, however the food was delicious. I had the « kfc ». fresh salad, tasty chicken and spicy fries. i would definitely go again very soon.

Absolutely stunning food yet again. We had the Kerala fried chicken and their new biriani . Both were absolutely delicious. Best street food in Cardiff by a mile!

Went for Lunch - welcoming and friendly staff . Striking decor with lots of seating .. nice bar area. Ordered an Ulli vada bhajee to start - delicately flavoured onion fritters which were light and packed a punch , along with the freshest coconut chutney and a fried green chilli - yum ! We ordered a plain dosa and masala dosa - completely blew our minds away - this was the real deal - as authentic as it can be ! The sambar was delicious along with 3 types of chutneys .. All the time I felt like I was back in an udipi in Mumbai ! Finished off with a coffee . I can’t wait to try their curries and puddings - looking forward to it already .. If you want the real taste of South Indian / Sri Lankan food then this the place to visit !

We went on a Friday evening for dinner. Can’t praise the friendly and welcoming staff enough. Great ambience. The food was excellent. Highly recommend.

What a wonderful addition to the offerings on Whitchurch Road and for this one Cardiff itself. Something really different for food nothing here is your usual offering. The staff are amazingly attentive without overbearing. We had a selection of starters and the lamb rolls were a delight. Main course two curries one being fish and different rice dishes and a Perotta were very tasty. To end my partner had the Knickerbocker Glory - this was something to behold and not a scoop of ice cream in sight. Not the cheapest meal but all in all it was so different and really great atmosphere to top it off. I would ask along with other reviews that maybe the curries might have a little more meat / fish - if these are to share four chunks of fish for two people is just a little lacking. Looking forward to a return to try the other options and definitely bringing friends so we can have more dishes. 😃

Phenomenal service, delicious food and the best cocktail I have ever tasted! Highly recommend. The employees couldn't be more hepful, which just adds to the experience.

A welcome addition to our beautiful City of the Arcades, Cardiff. We started and ended our meal with the mutton rolls - a must try when you visit. Sampled a couple of dishes and loved how each item was prepared and presented, preserving taste and optimising quality. Friendly and helpful staff who assist with recommendations and a pleasant smile. The music playlist brings sweet memories of favourite tunes and adds to the Aanandam - joyful dining experience. Thank you Rupali and team for being excellent hosts to the dining guests.

First the ambience was so warm and welcoming. Though it was full the staff were very pleasant Being of Indian origin , we were still guided through the menu by the staff. The food was excellent. Every dish served had its own distinguished taste.Simple dishes from Kerala .India had the taste of home for us. The dessert too is lush. Though it was a very busy night, the staff were buzzing around and not forgetting to enquire each customer if any service was required. A totally amazing place to be with the mouth watering aroma in the air. You don't know what you are missing till you visit there!!!

What a lovely experience! The service was spot on (warm, relaxed, informative and friendly), the food was tasty, varying heat levels and plenty of it. I had my favourite masala dosa and it was just right - crisp with soft potato filling and flavour filled condiments. We shared several small plates - the crisp fried lamb was really good. I’d started the dosa before remembering to take a photo! We are definitely coming back. Thanks for a lovely evening

We were overwhelmed by our visit to Tukka Tuk Canteen on Whitchurch Road We arrived not really knowing what to expect ! We was greeted by very attentive staff who guided us through the interesting menu The vibe was amazing, very busy highly recommended you book in advance The food was amazing , fantastic flavours, and cooked to perfection The staff were very attentive and friendly I can see this place being the must go to place in South Wales Can’t wait to go back !!

Can't fault the quality of the food. However the prices are too expensive for the quantity of food that's served, the lamb curry @£13.90 is described as perfect for one person. Sorry but four pieces of lamb is clearly not enough, the rice portion is...

absolutely amazing food and decor and service. we stayed for nearly three hours. we were served like royalty. the food was divine. I would reccomend the dosa and curries and rice's were more than perfect. Authentically served in talis. what a find. very highly reccomended....

Didn’t expect to find this in the market, but the chicken was incredible. Coconut chips and slaw were immense too. So so good.

Been to see Anand and the team for lunch and dinner quite a few times. Happy, tasty, value for money food eaten on the market balcony or taken away to reheat at home for a slap up family supper! Never disappoints and looking forward to...
