Lovely food and order just as I asked (I'm very fussy lol) :) Would recommend 👌

Dirty place. Poor food hygiene.

They do not maintain food hygiene. Most of the time I found dirty plate. I found hairs in foods many days also.

Booked a table online for 8 ( family birthday). On arrival they had changed the layout from my last visit and the waitress led us to a table for 6 and said Two would have to sit on a separate table for 4. I said that it mentioned nothing about this when I made the booking, it was a family celebration and I expected my family to be sat together. A male member of staff then came over and basically said there was nothing they could do but I could go elsewhere if I wished!!!!!! No apology no attempt to reconcile my complaint,!!! Needless to say we left and got a great takeaway from Mowgli,s down the road. Having regularly used the restaurant I was very disappointed to have been treated this way and they have now lost the business of 4 local families.0/10

Bien hecho, no cambie nada, no puedo esperar a visitar de nuevo. Celoso de no tener esto cerca de donde vivo.

Amazing restaurant! Great value and big portions

La mejor casa de curry en la zona, si estás en la zona de Heath de Cardiff, lo recomendaría encarecidamente. El cordero sikander es uno de los favoritos, aunque el cordero masala también es genial si eres un entusiasta de las especias

Ordered a takeaway. They read the order as they handed me the food but they obviously didn't check because I paid 4 quid for onion bhajis that weren't in the order. Instant disappointment. The food itself was smothered in coriander... all I could taste was coriander in every bite. The celebrities biryani sauce was nice but it looked like they used frozen vegetables in the sauce rather than fresh ingredients. Also, why put salad on top of the biryani rice? Cucumber, tomato... It would have been extremely tasty if not for the absence of the bhaji and garden of coriander. Definitely wouldn't recommend or return. I'd rather travel to the Panama restaurant in future. My mistake.

Amazing Meal and great service from staff, went last Thursday with friends, we had the early bird offer, poppadoms to start with a lovely pickle - the poppadoms were perfect. I had Chatt Purée with Chicken, the dish was really tasty, very big portion and the chicken was cooked so tender - delicious! I had lamb tikka masala for my main, my friends had chicken korma and chicken shish - I had a taste of them all & were fabulous - the lamb in my masala was very tender, nice big chunks too & the masala sauce it’s self was lovely and thick. The mushroom rice was the best I’ve ever had, big mushroom pieces which were cooked soft. The keema naan was so fresh, the coconut naan was also very tasty. The naans were freshly cooked and so soft. Drinks were served promptly & staff were so friendly, we sat in a booth by the window, will definitely be going again!

We have been visiting this restaurant since the December 2024 and the food has never failed us. The chicken tika buna is out of this world and the kurma has flavours like not other. The staff are very attentive and I couldn’t ask them to do anything else they’re top tier. It is a family run business and I have spoken to the owners sons they’re delightful and very nice to strike up a conversation with. However one criticism is that we have noticed every time we visit there is a constant shouting and screaming come to find out it is from the owner! Understandable as it is a very busy restaurant but it does disturb the peace in the atmosphere but last night was unbearable. The owner constantly shouting at the staff and his family members seemingly what looked like a temper tantrum (the kids did find it funny). I do feel bad for the staff and family as they’re doing an amazing job, I have reported this to the correct authority and have been told it will be investigated. Other than that can’t fault the place amazing service and food but owner needs to tone it down.

Went for dimmer this evening with our 7 year old and cannot fault a single thing! Staff were attentive and friendly and the most beautiful food! To top it off Christmas music was playing and we were given a Christmas card when we finished our meal! A perfect meal, perfect service and feelong very festive! Would highly recommend to anyone and will be returning! 😊😊

Just had our first takeaway from here after having Juboraj rhwbina for the last few months. After our last few meals from there was awful and missed food we had some recommendations for here. Bloody delicious and tasty. We shall be back

Primera vez en Celebridades y no será la última. La decoración no es de mi gusto con asientos morados / iluminación y paredes acolchadas grises, pero la comida y el servicio lo compensó. Tenía la parrilla mixta de tandoori que era excepcional, llena de sabor, servida con un pan naan y fuente de masala. El camarero era servicial y amable y se aseguró de que disfrutamos de nuestra estancia.

I have had a takeaway tonight from Celebrities. It was the worst thing I've tasted in years. Korma chicken and. Rice with Nann. Well done Celebrities, it must be hard to buy the lowest standard chicken and served it with a straight face. It was cold, the microwave could not make it better, it just enhanced the fact it had no flavour. It seems I'm not alone with thus criticism, there are too many competitors for such low standards.

Lovely Indian restaurant, with helpful, friendly, welcoming staff. Very tasty, plentiful, good quality food which didn't cost the earth. Would highly recommend.

This was the first time we ate here. Won’t be returning. It seems they make up one gravy/sauce then add different flavours. Eg. Vindaloo tasted like korma. Madras tasted like your Sunday roast gravy. No flavour at all. We did ask if the correct meals were given. They said yes came over dropped a chilli in the sauce ( not sure what they thought that would do ). I had lamb it was like chewing on rubber. The tables were very small they brought out four huge plates ( Alan partridge size ). Left no room for your drinks and nan breads. Do no recommend this place. Very disappointed

I am a fussy curry man. I love my heat. But I only love heat with flavour. I have been eating curries for 35 years. I promise you this curry house is the best by far I have visited in all my time. The flavour and heat of the naga sylheti naga is like nothing I have had before. Hot - very hot but the flavour and texture is stunning. My wife has raved about her food too. If you have to pick somewhere. Pick here. I guarantee you will not be disappointed. Thank you all at celebrities. See you next week 😂😂😂😂

I've had plenty of deliveries from Celebrities, but wanted to experience restaurant dining inside. Nice clean and spacious dining area. A comprehensive menu that most certainly appeals to the majority. Helpful and friendly staff made the whole experience more enjoyable. The food arrived in good time, was fresh and very tasty. I ordered too much, but was offered containers to take the remaining home, very nice. There aren't any faults with this restaurant and I would highly recommend it. On this occasion I was driving, so couldn't sample anything from the well stocked bar. Best arrive on foot as there's extremely limited parking nearby.

The worst Indian takeaway I've ever had in my 29 years of living. Everything we had was full of grease and oil, absolutely horrible. I can understand why they offer 40% discount on just eat on the weekends now, absolutely shocking.

My husband asked me to leave this review, he ard there as a party of 10 on Tuesday; he said the food was excellent, especially the beef madras. Service was attentive and I hope ge takes me there soon!

Found a rat in my bag when delivery driver came it was atrocious

Ordered online waited over an hour, rang restaurant never had my order. So children all went hungry! Fuming will never order from this place again.

Warm lighting, an inviting atmosphere and friendly staff all paint a lovely picture of a restaurant that cares about the little things. This impression was cemented once the food arrived, the flavours practically bursting in one's mouth. I would pay special attention to the chicken biryani and the wonderful onion bahjis, though be careful not to order too much! I will be sure to visit again soon.

Really disappointed in my paneer makhni! It was sweet so put me off it as we come to stay in Cardiff for our anniversary. Please state if it’s got sweetness in but I did not enjoy my dinner! :( not full up being a vegetarian only the samosa was nice if you state panjabi food mine certainly wasn’t.

Really enjoyed the very tasty food and good service from the 3x staff we gad contact with. The decoration is very bright but adds to the experience. Will certainly recommend to friends to go there. Just let down by the standard of decoration in the Gents and ssight of a "store room".

My wife and I visited Celebrities for the early bird menu after shopping and have returned over the last 3 weeks ,the staff are amazing the food is exceptional.we have eaten shashlik,makhani ,lamb Rojan and jalfrezie all cooked to perfection can’t wait to return Hilary and Gerald Light

Once was a regular customer here, ordered for the first time in a while and our food is inedible. I’m not one for leaving bad reviews however this was appalling. The chicken was raw, everything was freezing. It just tasted off. Genuinely worried we will be ill from it. We’ve had to throw it all away and I’ve had to cook for the kids as I didn’t want them eating any of it.

The staff always give us a warm welcome and perfect service. Food is delicious and very authentic. The restaurant is also very comfortable and a nice place to spend your evening.

Just had this as a take away Chips were cold and rubber like old school dinner chips yuk Cures cold and bland Al in all full out waste of £25 I enjoyed my super noodles I had an our before ordering 🤦

We had a really nice family birthday meal here 13/5/24. The food was more than plentiful, really really tasty and very reasonable for a meal out. The bottles of wine were a great price for a restaurant. We had the early bird diner menu which was such good value for such a lovely meal. The staff were excellent and the service was great too. Would not hesitate to return- we will definitely be back again soon!

The food was impeccable! Full of flavour, fresh & authentic. Very well presented too! We were so so pleased by the service also, the staff were so welcoming and friendly and went above and beyond which makes such a great difference. The value for money was also extremely good! We collectively had 8 courses between two of us which accumulated to £27.50! We could not recommend this any more and will definitely be returning!

I’ve visited this establishment many times and the past and I must say that it just improves every time. They have beautiful interior decor and the staff are so lovely and welcoming (makes me feel like I’m at home). The chefs in this place certainly know what they’re doing. My favourite dish from is here is the chicken korai, the chicken contains so much flavour!! The peshwari here is definitely the best I’ve ever had. Recommend this place to everyone! I ordered a Chef Special (Sylheti Naga) Yesterday (14/4/24) and it was one of the best curries that I have had in a long time. Fresh, flavourful and fantastically delicious . When I walked into the restaurant the waiters took care of me and made me feel like a celebrity. Outstanding customer service and food arrived in a quick timely manner. The decoration inside is mind-blowing and an incredible change from when I last went. Definitely would recommend to friends and family for either a takeaway or to go dine in. Celebrities will certainly not disappoint and will definitely make you feel like a CELEBRITY!!!

food fantastic. the male staff member absolutely fantastic, not so keen on the one woman who kept on coming over and looking and over hearing our convo felt like they were rushing us and not happy with us for no reason, and the other waiter looking at us like we are some crooks

After a previous negative experience a while ago I decided to give this place another chance, and wow, what a difference. The food this time was absolutely amazing. Well done, and I shall now be a frequent user.

Sunday banquet meal. Lovely tasty food, nice restaurant, service good too. £12.95 pp for 4 courses great deal, loads food, lovely, everyone very happy. Cobra beer quite reasonable too. We will return.

Food was ok on my last visit but I have had nicer both here and elsewhere. Staff kept interrupting our meal for various reasons (they seemed to be looking for something to do as it wasn't busy when we went). Decor is tired and needs a refurb. All in all won't be going back.

Sadly this indian restaurant has gone downhill , was ok early days thou am happy they removed a staff member cought stealing of customers debit cards . Cold food received wasn't what we ordered and a promise to rectify this was obviously a load of tosh , very poor customer service too .

Came here tonight on a city break from Bournemouth for a few days. The waiting staff were lovely and attentive. Portions so generous we couldn't finish it all. Such lovely depth of real tadional flavours. Try the panner you will not be disappointed.

Just got back from a wonderful night at this gem of a restaurant. The food was amazing, and nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Big shout out for Amina our superb waitresses, there's not many Indian restaurants that blow my mind, congratulations celebrities can't wait to return i, keep up the the good work 👍👍👍👍

Excellent food as normal and love the new lay out For the less able bodied people they do find the new sofas hard to get onto and feel they are slipping so maybe have some chairs as a back up where they can sit at the end of the table

Great food, service, and atmosphere!

I ordered a takeaway yesterday from this restaurant for the first ever time. It was absolutely revolting to the point where non of it was eaten. Firstly, the delivery was late, the delivery driver was very rude and impatient and hammered on the door despite notifying on the order that I am disabled and to please be patient. Secondly, the food was stone cold, the curry has spilt in the bag and the popadoms were broken (as if they had been sat on). Despite warning the food up, it was disgusting and the whole order went in the bin. The naan bread was about 2-3 inches thick and raw in the middle. I never leave bad reviews unless I really have too but this was the biggest waste of £30 I have ever spent! If you like your curries or food in general then AVOID this place. Very disappointing

Although the food was good last night we were charged £6 for 2 lime and soda waters, plus I sent my second glass of wine back as it tasted awful, we were still charged for it although it wasn't drunk as advised it came from the same bottle as my first glass which I doubt very much, not happy at all with the amount charged for drinks

Called to see if they would deliver to my area and sadly couldn’t. Would’ve come and picked up but was rushed off the phone and hung up on. Not ideal.

Ordered a take away from just eat. Which was a set menu and some extras. The food was beautiful. Came really quickly. Even had a free piece of cake which was a lovely gesture
