Carmarthen Town South, Carmarthenshire
14/06/2019: Once greeted by the affable and friendly guests I knew this was going to be a good meal. We were a party of 6 and all enjoyed popadoms, starters, mains and sides which were exquisite to say the least. The food was delicious, service was both friendly and presented correctly and the decor simply enhanced this gorgeous atmosphere. Would highly recommend to anyone who considers!
14/06/2019: Been going to ginger for years, always brilliant service and great food!! Came here for our first date and 7 years later we still go, never disappoints.

Dhaka 2 Bombay

Pembrey, Carmarthenshire
08/06/2019: This is my favourite Indian restaurant. It never fails to deliver on excellent service, great atmosphere and most importantly delicious food. It’s also very reasonably priced and has a great menu to choose your favourite dishes from. Loving the new decor too. I’ll definitely be going back soon.
31/05/2019: After a week of camping and BBQ food we wanted to have a change of scenery and cuisine! My husband has a meat allergy and they were super cautious asking exactly what he could and couldn't eat and they cooked him a meal he requested that wasn't on the menu. One of our kids is a very fussy eater and won't eat anything with any flavours on - again they offered plan chicken and chips and rice and she declared them 'the best chips she'd ever eaten'! My son loves a curry and he said the Chicken Tikka Pasanda was better than his previous fave Indian. The coconut peshwari was so fresh and delicious as was the coconut chutney with the poppadoms. A brilliant meal was finished off with sweets for the kids and an impromptu magic show from the guy behind the bar. They offered us warmth, toys and wifi if we needed to escape the wet weather whilst camping which we would have taken them up on if we hadn't been leaving the next day. We camp every year in the area and no doubt a trip to Naz Rasoi will now become an annual tradition. Thanks for a lovely meal and very friendly welcome! Highly recommended.

Elaichi Restaurant & Take away

St. Clears, Carmarthenshire
24/04/2019: We came across this Indian restaurant while travelling to Cardiff and were really pleased by the quality of food. Also the amicable behaviour of the staff members need to be mentioned. If you are visiting this restaurant don’t forget to try the desserts as well specially ‘Fantastica’
22/04/2019: Came across this place when travelling back from holiday. Very tasty food, super friendly staff, reasonable prices. Highly recommend.

Seven Spice

Pembroke Dock: Llanion, Pembrokeshire
14/06/2019: Thanks for a great meal. Different and very satisfying. Vegetable Patia was great. Hope to visit again soon!
02/06/2019: Top class food the best we have eaten in many years as Indian Food. The taste buds were screaming after this. What a treat. Great friendly service by a very bubbly man who couldn’t do enough.

Cenarth, Carmarthenshire
14/06/2019: We visited here as a last minute decision on Friday and we are really glad we did. There is no parking available so you have to find somewhere on the road.
06/05/2019: Have been looking for a decent Indian Restaurant in West Wales for years ( use to live in London and was used to eat Authentic Asian food)

Taj Mahal

Haverfordwest: Portfield, Pembrokeshire, <20£
17/06/2019: Good tasting Indian food served at 9.15pm. We booked a table but it was less than half full. Food arrived in reasonable time. Interestingly the prices were similar to most Indians on the outskirts of London but some portions were bigger. Coconut naan bread was plate sized for example. Very acceptable fairly late evening meal. Staff were friendly and polite. A little bit of redecorating on corners of walls and skirting boards would smarten the interior.
10/06/2019: Ordered from here on a weekend holiday in broadhaven. Sadly they don’t deliver which I think could possibly be introduced! Our food was possibly one of the tastiest we’ve ever had! Lamb tikka masala, chicken tikka masala, tandoori king prawn masala & all the sides and extras! The king prawns especially were huge!! Nice to see an Indian actually using king prawns and not little ones.

Taj Mahal Tandoori Take-Away

Kidwelly, Carmarthenshire
06/05/2019: Great food & great service. We will use again when in the area.My wife had a biryani and I had the chicken jalfrezi with naan and keema rice. Both very good.
01/04/2019: After a long day out just wanted something that we could pick up and take away lovely friendly service excellent food and reasonable prices

ali raj

Glanymor, Carmarthenshire, 20-30£
21/05/2019: Having been several times over recent years our last visit was not so good. A Pasanda dish arrived and was a Korma. It was taken away and disguised but it was dreadful. The Chana Masala chickpeas were hard and undercooked and everything seemed to lack the punch we have been used to. Has something changed?
12/05/2019: The food and service have always been excellent here and continue to be so. Best Indian food in Llanelli

St. David's, Pembrokeshire
10/06/2019: The Saffron is a fabulous indian restaurant - the food is to die for and the service is excellent - make sure you try the Peshwari Nan and chicken tikka starter etc etc
01/06/2019: We were on holiday in St.Davids and opted for a take away after a long days walking. They were busyish when we ordered and told to come back in half an hour which we did. Our take away took a further 20mins. There was only two staff serving, doing drinks, taking take away orders in person & in the phone. The older guy looked harassed as by now the restaurant was full. They were obviously overwhelmed & had orders all over the bar in no particular order & they would have to sift through them. We also witnessed them take take away orders which then just sat without being handed to the kitchen. We checked our take away before we left & one main dish was missing. The older guy did not believe us & was fairly accusatory in his tone. He took it from us to check in the kitchen before bringing it out saying it was all there. We checked again & sure enough he’d put the missing curry in the bottom. We saw the funny side but thought he was a cheeky so & so! Once home we discovered one of our side dishes was not what we ordered & something else entirely, but we were not going to go back again. My curry was tasty but swimming in ghee. However the rest of the family were disappointed. We ate it. It filled a gap but probably wouldn’t have gone a second time.

Dwbi's Restaurant

Llannon, Carmarthenshire
03/06/2019: Best curry in Carmarthenshire hands down. Wonderful restaurant and great take away service. I also recommend to friends looking for a good curry house.
16/05/2019: Visited with my daughter. I had a Chicken Tikka Madras, she had a Korma. The accompanying rice, bhajis and naan were nice, however both curries... the stars of the show , were tasteless and bland. No heat or depth of flavour in the Madras and the Korma was almost milky white. Disappointing for a restaurant with a good reputation!

Taj Mahal

Neyland: West, Pembrokeshire
28/05/2019: One of the male members of staff was rude on the phone and didn’t seem interested which then told as we received the wrong order once collected! Then to make things even worse, we had the wrong curry with rare bits of chicken, I’ve had a few bad experiences at this place and they’ve just had their last chance! In all fairness the young lady working gave me a full refund and even offered a freshly cooked curry but the damage was already done and I certainly won’t ever be using this restaurant again.
10/02/2019: We were in Milford Haven on a Saturday night looking for supper. All the restaurants along the Marina front were fully booked but also seemed to be very noisy - lots of family dinners and hen do's.

Pembroke: St. Mary South, Pembrokeshire
07/06/2019: While visiting Pembroke with family we came here for a curry, I’m a proper curry head and know how to cook them also but sometimes a surprise is always welcome. Very friendly staff, clean, good service, and the best was the curry, we ordered about 15 dishes and all of them were lovely, me personally would ordered the lamb chili Masala extra hot, and the taste was delicious. All in all the experience was a very pleasant one and we left feeling very happy.
31/05/2019: This was our second visit this year to be welcomed in then when our orders were taken our waiter was very rude to all of my family, he rushed us through, almost threw the food on the table and had a very aggressuve dimenour, on our last visit he was very condescending to a female member of staff.

Sheesh Mahal

Elli, Carmarthenshire
09/06/2019: Ordered a take away tonight (the same thing i always order) somewhere there was a miscommunication and my rice was placed on the order. When i phoned i was i did not order rice. I went back to the restaurant to collect my rice amd the attitude i had off two of the staff one being the manager was disgraceful. Instead of an apology it was attitude when i know i ordered tje rice. I am so upset as i have been eating from the sheesh and only the sheesh for 20 years plus. I am so disappointed with this i feel i may never go back. Really really upset by this.
07/05/2019: My wife demanded we go here (and who am I to argue?) Back a few years ago this was deemed to be one of the best Indian restaurants in Wales! Our experience was one of working out way through a decidedly average to poor meal in a flat, morose atmosphere......we will not be going back unless we hear of massive changes.

Indian Lounge

Llandovery, Carmarthenshire
18/05/2019: The Indian Lounge is immaculate. All the tables are set beautifully and ready for customers. There are fresh flowers on the tables. The owner and staff are friendly and helpful. The food is absolutely delicious with large portions. We highly recommend this restaurant.
13/05/2019: Recently had a take away from here and enjoyed it. We went for a meal for 2 and enjoyed each of the dishes.

seven spices

Kilgetty/Begelly, Pembrokeshire
13/06/2019: Took out from here twice on a recent trip to Pembrokeshire even though it was a 20 minute round trip. After our first meal at the beginning of the week it was a no brainer and did't want to risk going to the takeaway that was closer to us. Sauces were tasty, breads were good, and there was loads of big juicy chunks of chicken in all the dishes we tried. Perfect.
30/05/2019: Had a takeaway last night and was absolutely lovely such wonderful taste and amazing flavours one of the best in the area. Nice staff and reasonable prices, great food! :)
