Carmarthen Town South, Carmarthenshire
07/03/2019: Booked a table in advance as last time we tried we could not get a table on the Saturday, second visit here and was not disappointed stunning food and excellent service will definitely be back. Highly recommended.
03/03/2019: The staff were nice and the seating was fine. We found the food average, that’s not a bad thing it was not bad, it just was not amazing. I had dhal and it was not the best I’ve had which was a shame. But see my review for Cinnamon

Taj Mahal Tandoori Take-Away

Kidwelly, Carmarthenshire
07/02/2019: Food has been poor on last 2 visits. On visit 1 the chicken was tough (ordered chicken dhansak & chicken pathia). On visit 2, the chicken chat was poor quality - chicken was in chunks not slices & did not taste of chat massala.
19/11/2018: Stayed with friends locally and ordered a take out from the Taj. It was on time when collecting it and was piping hot. The food did not disappoint. We ordered the Kochi Murg and the Chicken Chat and the flavours were very distinct and fresh. Will definitely be back again. Good portion size too. Really delicious, thank you

Taj Mahal

Haverfordwest: Portfield, Pembrokeshire, <20£
07/03/2019: One of the best curry evenings I've had - had quite a few. Very tasty food and very good swrvice. Will definitely be returning.
17/02/2019: 7 of us went for a family meal. They were clearly very busy and struggling with the orders. We waited 1 hour and 50 for our mains. When the meals finally arrived some was incorrect and some was luke warm. The lamb was subpar very tough. They did apologise when we left but spent a lot of money for a slow and average meal. The priority was clearly the take aways as there lots of those going out.

ali raj

Glanymor, Carmarthenshire, 20-30£
12/02/2019: Food ok nice and clean. Attitude of staff could have been better, quite patronising when my partner made a query about the food ,
29/01/2019: The Ali Raj is always a good choice for a meal whatever the occassion, attentive service and fresh food all made it a delicious meal.

St. David's, Pembrokeshire
06/03/2019: We first came here three years ago and thoroughly enjoyed it, and I’m pleased to say that it is still very good. It is a very smart restaurant and service is charming and attentive. For our curries we chose lamb Madras and a chicken tikka Jalfrezi and the spicing and flavour of both was spot on. The portions were also generous.
03/03/2019: Dropped in early evening, we had not booked and the place was nearly full but they gave us a table for two and we ordered and drank awaiting our Biriani and sides - the service was ace, the food was ace and we were quickly out again, happy, full and very satisfied. I mused how I always get virtually perfect service, hospitality and treatment in a curry house but rarely get such faultless treatment in a typical ordinary eatery. The reason: these guys have a fuller understanding of their business, the true meaning of hospitality and understand the value of a pound more maybe? Recommended.

Seven Spice

Pembroke Dock: Llanion, Pembrokeshire
09/03/2019: Top notch meal in a nice atmosphere and friendly service. Found the portions to be quite large but they offered us a doggy bag, brilliant! Will definitely return.
01/03/2019: As a visitor to the area we rely on Tripadvisor but on this occasion we were let down and disagree with the rating given.

Cenarth, Carmarthenshire
15/02/2019: Good effort by the team to provide a lovely atmosphere for valentines night. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and the food was delicious . If you live in the area and haven’t eaten in Yasmins, you should definitely try it. Thanks Yasmins, we will of course be back.
15/02/2019: Yasmin's has two particular strengths: [1] the freshness of its ingredients shines through and [2] the meat dishes are just that, well seasoned chunks of tender meat rather than piles of onions. A case of pating for what you get and well worth it.

Dhaka 2 Bombay

Pembrey, Carmarthenshire
07/01/2019: Visiting family in Wales post-Christmas and just before New Year. Booked the table, the staff were very friendly and seated us quite quickly. All the food was super and really tasty, Would have liked a little more meat, but the taste was so much better than other restaurants I have eaten or had takeaways from. Would definitely go back for another meal again some time in the future.
01/01/2019: Came here on holiday and was advised to go here so I ordered a Balti and it came with a free naan it was delicious! I would love to come to wales purely again for this Indian!

Dwbi's Restaurant

Llannon, Carmarthenshire
17/01/2019: Had a great meal here with my wife on Tuesday night. Great food and service, nice decor and good atmosphere.
18/09/2018: We've had a few takeaways from Dwbi's since moving to the area from Cardiff in July. Dwbi's is far better than any Indian takeaway in the capital and tonight I had the best vegetable curry I've ever had. 5 stars from me! (and I'm not easy to impress)

Taj Mahal

Neyland: West, Pembrokeshire
10/02/2019: We were in Milford Haven on a Saturday night looking for supper. All the restaurants along the Marina front were fully booked but also seemed to be very noisy - lots of family dinners and hen do's.
12/10/2018: Very quiet on a Tuesday night but it's mid week and out of season in October .the restaurant is freshly redecorated . The menu is VERY extensive everything I've tried on several visits was very tasty and fresh. They were happy to tailor my wife's dish to suit her taste , between 3 people we ordered a variety of mains and sides . All of the food was as we expected and all served hot and pretty quickly. I highly recommend this place food and staff all excellent.

Pembroke: St. Mary South, Pembrokeshire
24/02/2019: We arrived at 10.00pm and the place was empty, Obviously the waiter was wanting to finish his shift.
20/02/2019: Stayed two nights in Pembroke, and had a takeaway from the here both nights. Very friendly service, and food was excellent.

Sheesh Mahal

Elli, Carmarthenshire
02/02/2019: We have been to the Sheesh Mahal previously and to be honest it wasn’t too bad, hence our visit this evening.
30/01/2019: For a restaurant that prides itself on its curry dishes the level of customer service really needs a drastic makeover. The Sheesh Mahal Llanelli feels like a conveyor belt of waiters eagerly awaiting for your payment and exit so that they can rinse and repeat and I emphasise on rinse. The food is expensive and it substandard at best, but for the price you pay for the food you at least expect to be treated with a little bit of courtesy and respect none of which you will find here. Im amazed the waiting staff can even walk with the size of the chips on their shoulders. They are very derogatory and will snarl the moment a group of you ask to split the bill it's as if they cannot be bothered to perform a simple maths task. Honestly your better off going some place else as you will feel fleeced of your hard working money and feel like you've rushed whatever slop they give you. AVOID!!

Indian Lounge

Llandovery, Carmarthenshire
21/02/2019: We come to Llandovery several times a year to ride and fly fish. Indian Lounge is always our go-to for friendly and charming service and excellent food. We all love it
05/01/2019: Enjoying curries, we had to try this place! Not disappointed at all. 2 good curries, poppadums, chutneys & bhajis to share,I reckon with a curry it's either a hit or a miss! This was a hit! Nicely cooked, simple restaurant & friendly service. This was an early evening visit over Christamas & not many people around!

seven spices

Kilgetty/Begelly, Pembrokeshire
12/02/2019: We usually eat in the Seven Spices sister restaurant in Pembroke Dock and came here on a whim.
01/01/2019: This restaurant did came highly recommended and happy to say it didn't disappoint. We all thought the food "absolutely delicious" perfectly spiced and full of fresh flavour. Service was very good, really friendly and welcoming. This is the nicest India restaurant we've found in the area and would definitely recommend.

Narberth, Pembrokeshire
06/03/2019: The food was really tasty, although when it came it had a pool of oil on it and needed to be stirred. Good do with more allergy awareness as to what gluten is - but once established there were lots of gluten free options. Loved the taste of my food.
19/02/2019: Started off ok, booked for 7 of us and was seated straight away. Popadoms and starters were nice and then ended up waiting iver an hour for our mains. I ended up asking staff to chase them up. We were at the point of leaving, which we wish we had. All of the meals were bland, and all tasted similar. It was busy but we felt they should have prioritised their seated customers rather than the take aways. We will not be returning.
