Seven Spice in Pembrokeshire

Probably the best food in Pembrokeshire. Went with family who was visiting us.Staff were brilliant and service was fantastic.

Had a number of hours to kill before the overnight ferry to Ireland, so thought I’d give this restaurant a try - with it being handy as well for the railway station and coach drop off point. Welcomed by very friendly staff who had no qualms about my having a table for one. Very good food, good portions and excellent service. No complaints from me and I’ll pay another visit next time I’m getting the ferry

Just got back from having a lovely meal tonight. We took our children for their first sit down curry and they loved it and my 7 year old lad. The meal was so delicious all of the curries which I had a try of. The staff are so friendly and made a point of interacting with my little one. We have been to the one in haverfordwest as a couple and I have to say we much prefer this one. Thanks guys we will be bk.

We were staying in Haverfordwest, wanted an Indian meal and came across this place on TripAdvisor. Very welcoming staff. Roomy and bright restaurant. Good variety of dishes, all served piping hot. I had the chicken tikka balti and my partner the chicken tikka masala. No criticisms and would recommend if you're looking for a good Indian meal.

We arrived in plenty of time for our table as there were quite a few of us. We ordered poppadoms and dips to come while we were waiting for our main dishes to arrive. The food, as always, was delicious. But we waited over an hour for our main dishes to arrive and be served (baring in mind we hadn't ordered starters). I don't know whether this was a miscommunication or whether the kitchen just couldn't cope. Wrong dishes were brought to the table, and things were missing. Two curreys were dropped off at the table, but nobody had any plates, so we couldn't even serve ourselves for the staff to take the empty curry dishes away to give us more room. The standard of service was lacking, it was just unorganised and a bit frustrating being sat for over an hour waiting for our food.

Staying in Pembroke for the weekend and came across this Indian Restaurant near the Tesco. Had the butter chicken and chicken chilli tikka and both were excellent quality as were the sundries. Thoroughly recommended!

Took a chance from out of town and very pleased as reviews were mixed. My experience was good as the the food was freshly cooked for a takeaway and the delivery was prompt. Usually I would not bother with a review but I think this deserves the effort. Thanks Seven Spice!

We eat here often as you cannot find a better combination of food. staff and premises in Pembrokeshire. We have tried elsewhere but the Seven Spice excels in everything they offer. On this occasion I am writing because of the superb service my wife was offered. She has not been very well recently and the owner Arkan paid attention to her portion size and the amount of spice in the food. We had a great meal as always, and were served by the most attentive staff I have ever enjoyed in any Curry Restaurant. You need to book on weekends as they are always busy and it is good to see so many regulars.

Staying in Saundersfoot- we got a take away from Seven Spice- Was absolutely delicious and arrived piping hot, wish we lived closer!

We stayed in Saundersfoot and found a flyer for Seven Spice at our apartment. We had an amazing takeaway delivered to our door within the hour. I would recommend the Psanda and Onion Bajee, a very tasty meal.

Visited here for a couple of takeouts while we were on holiday in the area. Every meal we had was mouth watering from the Korma to the Bhuna. Will return on our next Hol and recommend 110%.

I thought I would write a review to explain that the Seven Spice is still delivering takeaways thankfully. Quite a safe scenario as you can pay by credit card and they will call you on arrival and leave the food on your doorstep.No need to meet anyone.We live in Cosheston and they deliver FOC.Friday we had a Chicken Pathia, Chicken Roujon Gosth , Nan, rice and kebab.Reasonable prices and the best curry in Pembroke Dock.

Staying near Pembroke Dock with friends and family and fancied some Indian food.We found the Seven Spice and ordered a take-a-away with easy going staff from the the extensive menu.This included starters, a number of main courses with the normal extras.The good was ready in 20 minutes and was well prepared, fresh and tasty with all satisfied. Huge portions, good value and would use again if in the area.

I ordered a takeaway from this restaurant for a speedy dinner solution when I had no time to cook. I do not usually buy takeaways but their food hygiene rating was high and I remembered being impressed with a meal I'd eaten there in the past. I really liked the chicken tikka masala with rice, but for me the best part was actually the onion bhaji that I'd ordered as my side dish. They were truly delicious and perfectly crisp on the outside while still soft (but thoroughly cooked) in the middle. The naan breads (plain and peshwari) were tasty but quite blackened on the bottom, so I had to leave some of them. Not the cheapest Asian cuisine in the area but certainly the tastiest in my opinion. There is also a lot of vegetarian choice.

We had such a nice evening at this restaurant and will look forward to going again soon. We had a prompt and friendly welcome from the owner and spent a fair bit of time exploring the extensive menu. Two of us are vegetarians and it was good to have so much choice. It's amazing how often Indian restaurants don't list the vegetable versions of their curries and you have to ask, but here the options open to us were very clear. We had really nice starters and, while the options open to us as vegetarians were rather limited at this stage, we had absolutely gorgeous tandoori paneer kebabs to enjoy. Our main courses were excellent - the meat eater was happy with the quality of his chicken and loved it curried in a way he had never encountered before. He's curry mad and this was his third curry night in a row! The vegetarian curries were great, though we wished we had left more room for them. No space for puddings, so we can't comment on them. It was a quiet night, so we didn't have to book and we had lots of time to chat with our lovely, helpful waiter and the charming owner. The company owns several other restaurants in Pembrokeshire, including some nearer our home, so we will try to get to some of them as well, but we will go to Pembroke Dock again, that's for sure.

This place is amazing in terms of service and quality. The food is so good and I can highly recommend the chicken biran which is not on the takeaway menu but can be ordered as a takeaway. It comes with rice and is madras hot but wow what a meal.

In my view the best Indian restaurant in Pembrokeshire I visit every week and the high quality never varies. Also the staff are always very pleasant

If you’ve ever eaten Indian food that’s been cooked properly you would find this awful establishment nothing short of a joke. Taking advantage of people who have very little in the way of choice.

We don’t live close by but always make sure we visit when we are in the area. The food is consistently good and is one of the very best Indians we have been to. The food is outstanding with generous portions and it’s extremely good value. The owner is a really nice guy taking the time to have a chat with customers. Staff are welcoming, friendly and helpful. Even though we only get to visit now and again the owner always remembers what we like to drink and that we like fresh ginger on top of our curries. Can’t wait to return.

Just to say that although nobody pre-ordered their meals, they dealt with our orders very well. Everyone enjoyed their choices. We even bought a cake which they kindly put the candles on and brought out to us. There was a little blip with the poppadoms but they resolved it really quickly. We will be back again soon. My husband and I have used this restaurant since we moved nearby almost 2 years ago. We have tried others but nothing beats this place.

A group of us ate at Seven Spice and we were not disappointed. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful in offering advice on the large selection of delicious meals on the menu. Service was quick and no one in the group had a bad thing to say about their meal, definitely worth a visit.

Huge let down with food. Ordered a take away and was let down. Both biriyani and paratha was under cooked. Paratha was still doughy!! Worst I have tasted....even packet paratha tasted better than this.

Ordered a takeaway whilst on holiday in Pennar, decided to collect as quicker than waiting for delivery.

Visited the venue for the first time whilst visiting the area. We managed to get a parking space just outside the entrance. As a disabled customer I received a warm welcome from the owner who couldn’t do enough to ensure that my wife & I were made comfortable. A varied selection of food on the menu & spoilt for choice. The food was very tasty. It was very noticeable how busy the restaurant was. There were constant visitors ordering take away meals whilst the restaurant soon filled out. In fact on leaving there were a lot of people waiting to be seated. A sign of good food. Also heard people asking if there were spare tables but unfortunately they couldn’t be accommodated. If visiting would recommend making a booking in advance. There is a clean disabled toilet with ample space for a wheelchair. Would definitely return if in the area.

Once again working locally to this restaurant 10 men twice in 5 days various different starters and main meals between us all and me as the organiser was happy that on each occasion everyone of us really enjoyed our food our service and banter with the waiters and the owner was 2nd to none really can’t recommend this restaurant enough we have a few days left in the area and we have already booked for our last night here keep up the good work guys 10/10 from me

We have now eaten here twice particularly like the Shimla dishes. Good service friendly staff and pretty good food at unbelievably low prices! Easy eating in a pleasant atmosphere if you like Indian food this is the place to come!

Welcoming staff. Fabulous food, but boy the portions are immense. Had the king prawn Balti, full of lots of wonderful prawns. Fabulous naan bread. Very reasonably priced. Good food. Lovely staff. What more do you need?

Having had a horrible meal in our hotel the night before we wanted some tasty vegan food. The restaurant lived up to it’s good tripadvisor reviews. Lovely staff. Food made from identifiable ingredients and not a mush mash in a sauce. ( I swear the Sag Aloo had Pembroke new potatoes in! ) We had a main course , three sides, rice and chappattis between two and had enough left for a good lunch today. Food tasty and hot. Stayed in the Travelodge up the road for a few nights whilst visiting Pembrokeshire. Turned up on a Saturday night at Seven Spice and asked for a table. The guy was really nice and said if we waited 15 mins we could eat. Sat at the bar and had a drink. Had a nice chat with a guy called Kev who I think was probably a regular. Ordered our food. We had poppadums, starters and main. There was so much food I could not eat it all. The food was of really quality. Easily one of the best Indians I have ever eaten

Eravamo di passaggio a Pembrock Dock ed abbiamo optato di mangiare indiano in questo posto, che era proprio a due passi dalla nostra Guest House. Davvero ottimo! Possiamo considerarci esperti della cucina indiana, essendo stati in India per un po’, e posso dire di aver ritrovato il gusto originale, tradizionale, non solo nelle classiche pietanze, con le naan, i dall e il papadam, ma anche in quei piatti rivisitati, il chicken tikka per esempio era molto diverso dalla classica versione poichè era molto più dolce data la presenza del cocco, ma comunque buonissimo! Abbiamo ordinato tante cose, una meglio dell’altra! Davvero consigliato!!!

As a family of 5 we absolutely love this place. It is one of, if not the best indians around. Everytime our meal is just amazing. No issues always tastes great. The service is fab, the children love visiting. The chicken tikka korma is great, as well as the amla, dansak, tikka masala. I also always recommend this place to friends and family.

Mixed Veg Pathaya was the highlight of our order. Paneer , Garlic Naan and Papodams were all nice too . Service was great . Will definitely visit again when in this area.

Good service and friendly, the food in my opinion was ‘ok’ compared to other indian restaurants i have visited. Don’t get me wrong this is my personal taste but just a little underwhelmed.

Came with my family from London. We ordered beef paslian and chicken Biran which were recommended by the staff. The food was outstanding very testy. The staffs were friendly and helpful and the chef special staters were great. Highly recommend.

I've eaten in Indian restaurants in many places all across the UK due to travelling with work. I can honestly say that Seven Spice is easily my favourite by a country mile! Owner is a star, lovely bloke, can't do enough and the staff are really friendly and helpful. Never had a bad meal and have been visiting for years. Ten outta ten will visit again!

We had a take away and waited for it while it was prepared

We were here on a Sunday night and the place was fully booked. The friendly owner promised that if we came back in about an hour, he will have a table for us. True to his word, we got a table. Sadly, the food we were given was poor. The onion salad was far from fresh and the chicken was not thoroughly cooked. I would have normally complained, but as they were still really busy - and as it was already 9pm and everyone was hungry - we ate our food. Both our kids as well as myself had a very upset stomach the following day.

Si and I met up in Pembroke Dock for one of our occasional curry evenings and after a swift pint of Wolf Rock in the Welshmans Arms we made our way to Seven Spice. Surprisingly it was our first visit so full of trepidation we had some poppadoms

The food is absolutely amazing and very good service. We went early on a Friday evening and the place was buzzing so that indicates it is popular. We could see why as the food was soooo good. Two of us had a speical being the chicken biran not to be confused with biriani. Hot, delicious and two good sized chicken breasts. The other meal was equally amazing.

Seven spice is without doubt the best Indian in Pembrokeshire. It has been a staple of the food scene here for a while. I recommend going if you are here on holiday. Great staff and great food!

What can I say, exceptional is the word, we ordered two curries and they were both great! Huge chunks of chicken great spicing, all in all very good. The only slight down side was the onion bhaji’s which were a little below par.

Me and my husband visited this restaurant while on our trip to Wales. No where close to authentic Indian food,if that is being claimed. The main dish was definitely not fresh and was off. The rice also seemed in a similar state. The Naan I had ordered, was not cooked, could see strands of sticky flour oozing.

I have visited Seven Spice on London Road, near to Tesco's on a few occasions and always been greeted well and served like a new customer every time. They are also very good with their services both in the Resturant along with their Home Delivery Service, well worth a visit every time.

Whilst visiting the Pembroke area for a few days we decided to try this restaurant at Pembroke Dock for an eve ing meal. The food was OK, not memorable but acceptable , but after we received our main course the staff just disappeared. No one came to check if everything was alright. It was like the Marie Celeste. We waited ages for our plates to be cleared and then the waiter didn't offer us dessert coffee....he too disappeared into the eather. In the end we gave up and my husband had to go and search for someone to make up our bill. Atrocious service....certainly won't be back!!

Regular visitor to Pembroke Dock, and this is one of the few restaurants in the area that I choose to visit from the selection available.

The place was very clean and well decorated. The staff were very friendly and the service was good. The food looked delicious everything was too salty for our taste.

I may be a little biased as my wife and I visit this establishment on a regular basis. But, I travel the length and breadth of the country and there are only a few better places I have tried than this one.
