Shaad in Pembrokeshire

We had to take a takeaway. The meal portions and curry were absolutely perfect. Perfectly sufficient for the people. Reasonable price and not too spicy either. Parking was a bit tricky. But worth the travel. We actually came for another restaurant but changed our mind and went to this restaurant. But no regrets. Worth it

My daughter has been telling me about this fabulous Indian food she gets in Narberth. When we went in for a late dinner one evening, we were greeted warmly into the immaculate dining room. We had an amazing meal! There wasn't one thing to complain about. The food was absolutely delicious 😋 and the staff were polite and friendly. Would highly recommend this restaurant!

Why do they think that deep red food is appealing. A dish of food colouring holds no attraction. The Naan bread was excellent, service was good but three different curries all dyed to the same colour was not good. Good quality ingredients, well cooked require no embellishment.

Nice local curry house. Good food but no alcohol sold there. But I did see others bringing in beer and wine.

My favourite Indian takeaway! We ordered on Friday night and thoroughly enjoyed it as always. The food was delicious and the delivery guy was very friendly. Looking forward to ordering again the next time we’re down in Narberth and would highly recommend.

First time eating here, felt like we were at a table waiting for our takeaway to be ready. Thought it wouldn’t be great when the ‘mint sauce’ was white with no mint flavour. Then honestly the worst Nan bread I’ve ever had. Ordered garlic Nan, no garlic flavour but the bread did not feel cooked at all, very doughy and heavy, inedible. Curry tasted ok but chicken was dry and had probably been reheated, just couldn’t eat the food and was hungry! Very disappointed and will never go again

Went to eat on friends recommendation who had dined there previous week. Absolutely first rate food! Great choice on menu. Service outstanding 👍 and very customer focused. Great conversation with staff 👍and prices very reasonable. In fairness the portion sizes were so big we brought food home!! Will definitely spread the word to other friends and will look forward to our next visit.

Staying in Narberth for the week and fancied a takeaway. Checked the reviews and it was obvious we had to order from Shaad. Ordering was simple, I preordered for a later collection time. Food was waiting upon arrival. Staff at the location were friendly and welcoming. Food was amazing, the Chilli and Garlic rice was so good! As was the Chicken Balti and Garlic nan bread! Super nice staff they were pleased were calm the lamb balti was juicy the the lamb was so soft it melted in my mouth the garlic cheese naan was a 10/10 they even gave us a chocolate while we were waiting it only took them 10 minutes to get our food it was like i was in a five star restaurant.

Staying in Narberth for a few days we were looking for somewhere to eat and chose Shaad. That was an inspired choice as everything from the friendly welcome, fantastic food and warm goodbye was exceptional. Thanks to the staff for giving us a meal to remember fondly. Highly recommended!

We’ve used this place just as a takeaway for years and never been disapointed. But recently we had our first sit in meal which wasn’t a good experience. The interior is old and in need of a refurb, the service was very slow we sat for ages while others who came in after us got served first, and non of the waiters really spoke or offered any apology. The worst part was the fruit flies! They were everywhere, not just the odd one or two but there was 10s of them swarming our table then they’d move on to another table before returning shortly after, constantly swatting flies away from our food. There’s a good chance we won’t be retuning again, and will probably find another takeaway to use in future, shame because they seem to use good quality ingredients and know how to cook it.

Being of Anglo-Indian decent I know a little about curry's and how they should tast, so I must say after visiting The Shaad in Narberth, I certainly wasn't disappointed, the food was exceptionally good, extremely flavoursome with a myriad of different tast sensations, well-balanced, richly spiced deep and savory. I'm a regular now and would like to mention Ali the chef, who is a truly master Chef and Syed the Manager who couldn't be more friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend.
