Good food and service. Highly recommend using their website to order, instead of the food apps like just eat and deliveroo. The restaurant has more control of quality then, as it's not delivered cold/banged up, and less middle man fees for the business is a bonus.

2.5hrs from ordering to delivery, arrived nearly 1hr after the advised ETA, some of the food was ruined by then. when it did eventually arrive the driver said he was given the wrong house number.

What an absolute treat! Ordered plenty of currys on here over the past few weeks and this was without doubt the best, taste was top notch on every dish and the portions were very generous, will deffo order again.

One curry was extremely oily. Had the same curry past 5 orders and wasn't this oily. Didn't taste as tasty either. A bit disappointed as usually I'm extremely happy

Had to Ring twice to chase it up and was twice told it was “ just round the corner.” Despite the app saying that the food had been delivered . When it arrived, ( 20 minutes after the app said it had been delivered ) the food was delicious, but unfortunately the experience was severely tainted by having to wait significantly longer than even the top of the delivery range.!

Ordered delivery Friday evening. They rang after about 90 mins today it would be a few more minutes . Still no food arrived after 2 hours. Unable to get through by phone. Won’t be using again and suggest customers either dine in or collect.

Dropped by with a work mate on the recommendation of our hotels receptionist and she was not wrong! We were warmly welcomed and look after by the staff and served some absolutely delicious food. I had the Murog Tikka Jaipur and my friend had Paneer Dansak. The restaurant was comfortable and spacious and we had a great time. We thoroughly recommend the Jewel and are already looking forward to visiting again!

I had one wrong curry, one wrong rice, the lamb was chewy, was not able to eat the curry and unable to have the right curry with rice, I want a refund.

Been back-and-forth to the Jewel Balti for 20+ years ,takeaways and sit down. Changed a bit over a few years, but the family led by Akta is still fantastic and welcoming ,been back tonight with my grandchildren and was not disappointed so warmly welcomed back again , the food and service was outstanding as always, see you soon boys !

What a great curry house, me and my family have been going here for over 25 years. We have recently had a loss in the family and asked the jewal Balti to cater for the wake for over 150 people. Everyone complimented how good the food was and enjoyed taking some left overs home. Could not fault the staff efforts and service, highly recommended, one of our personal favourites is the murgh Lahore make sure you try that.

Superb meal last night. Delivered within 40 minutes of ordering. Lamb Jalfrezi was beautiful, melt in the mouth lamb with just the right kick of heat. Every order has been top class from Jewel.

We have ordered from here for a long time. I'm not sure what happened but this time not up to standard. Very little chicken. Masala sauce was not rich it was thin and bland. I really don't like to complain but takeaways are a treat and so expensive right now. It's the first time I felt it wasn't worth it.

Selection and quality were average to decent, different dishes were different curry bases so that's always a plus. Bit overpriced and found the menu confusing due to colour choices but overall happy and service was good.

8 of us visited The Jewel Balti on Saturday 1st April. The food for everyone was outstanding, hot and really tasty. The service and atmosphere was faultless. Actar was amazing, having a chat and making us feel really welcome. Will most definitely be visiting again very soon.x

Food took 1 hour 30 mins to arrive... the chips where absolutely disgusting, they look like yesterday's chips, we had to cook our own in the end Cos they where that bad, they looked green and grey, were freezing cold and solid...

Food arrived late, we had to call the restaurant to varify ETA. When the meal aventurely arrived, one meal out of two ordered was missing. So I had to call the restaurant again and wait another half an hour for its replacement. Whilst the delivered portion went cold. We had to reheat everything before we ate the meal together. Not good.

It was okay…the menu seemed to be a bit sparse and there was no alcohol available, wasn’t aware you could bring your own as stated in other reviews. Some staff were a bit offish and the food took too long considering we were one of two tables in. Wouldn’t rush to return.

Timely and plentiful, but the food wasn't to the same quality as some others in the area. There was a vinegary taste to a few dishes. Quantity and speed were excellent, but the food quality was mixed.

Our family went for dinner in Jewel Balti the other night, we enjoyed the atmosphere. The food was fresh and delicious, the staff were friendly. Would definitely recommend it to my friends.

After waiting about 45 mins for takeaway!! Me and my wife got home to enjoy our meals!! Jewel starter was full of uncooked meat and gristle to which my wife spat out!! My starters weren't that great anyway!! Nan breads I've eaten but the chips were probablly warmed up from day before as we got there about 5:30pm and place opened about 5:15pm!! Jalfreizy followed the chips into the bin!! Will never go here again

The delivery driver phoned me from the wrong area, because the restaurant had put the wrong address on the order. Food was cold when it eventually arrived. 6 little pieces of chicken in each of the main meals £9+ cold chips & soggy naan. Not good

If you like a cold curry this is the place for you! Freezing cold. Had to re-heat! Small portions for the cost! And Tasteless!

Good blend of spice and flavour and expertly put together in the kalkata naga, but disappointed at the half a tray portion. The onion Bhaji’s were very good compared to other takeaways, however they were half cooked in the centre which was unfortunate, a couple of minutes more in the frier and they would have been perfect. The mint sauce was excessively watered down so much so that it lacked flavour or consistency. Poppadoms were broken and although we ordered 2 poppadoms, I’m pretty sure we have 1.5 in pieces. Overall I think the chef is very good at putting the flavours together but overall quality and quantity need to be improved. Will try again though.
