The Rane Bengal in Swansea

First time I've been disappointed in a few years. Korai chicken may as well have been chicken curry, jalferazi which I've eaten for 25 years was more like vindaloo strength so couldn't eat it. 7/1/25

¿Qué puedo decir "fue fantástico". Éramos un grupo de 7 que comimos allí en Nochevieja, no pudieron hacer lo suficiente por nosotros, la comida llegó muy rápido y lo genial que comimos todos. La comida de cada uno era diferente y excelente, las porciones eran tremendas y los sabores estaban fuera de este mundo. Los camareros eran brillantes. Si pudiera dar más de 5 estrellas daría un millón. Una visita excepcional una vez más, volveremos. Los Smith

We order takeaway delivery regularly. They always deliver very quickly, food is always hot and fresh. Nicest Indian takeaway we have had! Wouldn’t go anywhere else now.

Ordered a delivery on the 27th at 6:30pm I don't know who the chef was but that was the worst Indian food I have ever had in my life there was more water than tika sauce and I had to drain it to eat it the onion bahjis were too greasy and the flower was undercooked and was still raw. Never touching this place again I'm sorry

No habíamos estado aquí por muchos años, pero mi hijo y mi nuera comieron aquí recientemente y lo recomiendo encarecidamente. Llamamos para un Take Away nuestras comidas sabían bien, pero eran extremadamente espesas y necesitaban más líquido en ellas. En serio, podrías ponerte un tenedor en ellos. Tomé el pollo dhansak y mi marido el cordero saag. ¿Volveremos otra vez? Sí, definitivamente, pero pediremos mojado extra.

Best Indian ive had in a long time

Visited here last Sunday , 5 of us for Birthday meal . We ordered the set menu ( choice was really good for each course ) the food was served piping hot and really tasty . Service was very good . Would really recommend 👌

Stunning food !! Tikka Masala was very tasty and generous with a beautiful sauce. Garlic rice was out if this world. The chips were freshly cooked. The mixed kebab platter was top quality!! This is now our takeaway of choice. Thank you 👍.

Very disappointing, the bhaji’s were ridiculously dry, Naan bread was wet from condensation in the bag, pilau rice was also dry as if it had been in an oven keeping warm in the container, the spicy chips were not nice at all, way too much sauce/seasoning put on them, they were wet and like mulch so they didn’t get eaten, the chilli massala sauce was nice, 5 small pieces of chicken in though !! Absolute waste of £30+, most of this went in the bin…

Fast delivery and quality food.

My order came 20 mins earlier than I expected, when it did the rice was cold and the chicken was undercooked. Couldn’t eat it, all we ate was the chips

Had a meal here recently and the food was excellent. every dish was served hot and also tasty, the meat was cooked to perfection and the flavours were amazing. The service was absolutely unreal as they made me and my partner feel so welcome as soon as we stepped in, the staff couldn’t do enough for us. The staff were really nice, and it was a really lovely and relaxed environment. What a lovely restaurant. They also do take away which is a bonus.

Probably the best Indian takeaway I have had in 5 years. Curry, bhaji's, naan and spicy chips all very tasty and beautifully cooked.

Just a few minutes late but the food was amazing. Piping hot, tasty and great portion sizes. A definite return here.

food was mostly nice, and tasty, but man the chips was completely a disaster, you really need to work on fresh chips, they where stale and chalky, not a nice experience compared to the rest of the food

It’s hard to find halal restaurant in Morriston Swansea . After all search we found this place . As per our expectation food was tasty with good ambience quick service . I will delight to give 4.5 out of 5

I've eaten here numerous times and never had a bad experience, food is always hot, flavoursome and tasty, last night takeaway was mediocre, only luke warm, burnt taste, rushed!! dont think i will have a takeaway again but eat in is more preferable.

Great friendly and helpful staff, excellent food, always nicely cooked and freshly prepared.

The rice was cold and hard. Had to microwave it but the curry was beautiful as usual and the onion bhajis from here are my FAVOURITE!!!

Forgot mint sauce & too many onions

Ordered the chicken tikka kebab tonight, really enjoyed it. Fresh salad and served in a lovely naan, chicken was tender and tasty and mint sauce was good too 👌

I had a chicken rogan josh and it’s the worst I’ve ever had, it literally poked like it was a couple of days old and tasted like it was too, the tomatoes tasted burnt, already feeling quite sicky and left most off it. Won’t be ordering from here again.

I wouldn't order from here! I phoned up previously to see if I could order online, they said sure no problem. They took my payment and I had no food for it. So now I have to wait 5 days for a payment! Food hub said the takeaway didn't pick it up within 11 minutes so it got rejected, takeaway said they had no notifications for it! No one excepting responsibility and both companies passing the buck! Didn't even offer to rectify it just said there's nothing they can do. I'm housebound due to not being able to walk because im waiting on surgery. It was food for my son and can't even get to the cash point to get more money out. I have an upset and hungry child. If you haven't got money to waste or its a risk paying twice then i suggest you go elsewhere!!!

The foods was very nice only thing was there was a few stale pompadoms. i know it not s big deal but it was the first time using them. i will try again. hopefuly a one off

Food from here is usually beautiful. No issues with curries and chips are delicious. Ordered a chicken pakora starter which had loads of bones in. Really poor quality.

Friendly staff but the food was average at best. Bhaji were refried from day before I reckon, hence were burnt and dry . Ritha was nice to mask the taste. Every curry was a combination of peppers , onion and meat. So I had one. Lots of it unfortunately the garlic was also burned. Bitterness throughout. Chicken tikka was nice. Rice was ok but the chapati was cold and dry, I assume left over again. I was there early so lesson learned. I had 2 more nights but didn’t go back. Limited choice for Asian food here so it’s not terrible but not that good either

I ordered lamb rogan Josh. The lamb was very tough and the sauce was not as expected. Very disappointed

Beautiful food as always highly recommended

The lamb biryani was delicious and extremely well cooked by the chef as well as the tarka dall, though a tad bit oily. Chicken korma was perfect for my children too. All dishes were tasty and flavours spot on! Didn’t think I’d find 9/10 in Wales but it was!!

Delivery took a while but it was worth the wait. My first time ordering from here and it’s probably my new go to! Everything was absolutely spot on

Beautiful hot food delivered as quickly as possible. Been ordering food here for a whilst now alway bang on.. big thank you to the delivery driver who was concerned that one of the curry's might of been leaking.. all good 👍 top service

But I was glad it was early because I wanted it as soon as possible and it said it couldn't be delivered till 6pm but it came about 5.35pm. Which I was thrilled with.

Service was excellent, staff were very polite and attentive, and we (five if us) all really enjoyed our meals. Doesn't look much from outside, kerb appeal not a high point (not really Rane Bengal's fault), but don't let that put you off, you're not going to be eating out on the street, and it's a different story on the inside. Looking forward to visiting again soon.

Forgot my mint sauce with the kebab, my missis wasn't happy. apart from that amazing kebab as always.
