I ordered a takeaway from RB. Just finished eating it and I can honestly say it was the best takeaway iv had. The chicken sag was stunning and hubby had a chicken madras. The chicken was beautiful and plenty of it. Found our new regular .

Wanted to try Rene bengal as heard loads of good reviews, We’ll good is an understatement, the food was excellent every dish was served hot and so tasty, the meat was cooked to perfection and the flavours were amazing, the service was absolutely unreal and made me and my partner feel so welcome as soon as we walked in, the staff couldn’t do enough for you and it wasn’t just us it was the other tables around us to, we constantly heard the staff ask if anyone needed anything or how was the food the customers were laughing with staff and it was a really lovely relaxed environment, it seemed to me that they really care about the over all experience of the customer? The food alone is enough to come back as the consistency on the food through every dish was amazing but what makes it even more of a over all amazing experience was the staff members every single one were amazing, can not wait to come back and have recommended to all of my family and friends already! What a lovely little restaurant!! They also do take away which is a bonus, thankyou so much for having us!!

Had a take away from the rane bengal ast night for a birthday celebration. The food was fantastic all 7 of us thoroughly enjoyed. Highly recommed the rogan josh, korma, dhansak and chicken tikka massala 😁😁😁😁😁😁😁. Will definately have food here again x

Guys food is spot on but please tone down the ghee. 19.11.23 way too much lots of oil that I needed to drain away. The little bit of heat is spot on and my korai was stunning. Kulcha naan needs more cheese and onion even if you need to put the price up slightly that would be fine.

The chicken tikka and tandoori kebabs are delicious, The chicken is tender and very tasty . Everything is of a generous portion and fresh especially the salad. Great price for the quality of the food. Staff are friendly, happy and helpful. I will forever order here.

We arrived here on a Friday Evening with no booking and it was busy. Staff went out their way to accommodate us and the service was simply excellent. All the food was of superb quality. One of the best curry night outs we have had. Thanks to all the staff who worked hard to make our experience wonderful - Its fully appreciated and we will be returning when next in the area. UPDATE - We revisited 2 yrs later and service remains the same - Superb, food is great and highly recommend. Thanks to all who made our meal delightful. See you again hopefully in the future..

Must say worst food I have ever had from a takeaway. This was always my go to Indian restaurant but never again it was vile

I liked this restaurant the Keema nan was the best I have had in years but I had the Cafreal as a main dish and it was a bit too rich for my taste. I had the prawn puri as a starter which was nice but as you can see from my pictures the slice of lemon was more a G&T lemon that a wedge (Also I need to point out they are not licenced). Service was great everything was hot and fresh. Worth a visit and as of my visit end of September 2023 cash only.

Ordered for someone with coeliac disease allergy and they couldn't have been more helpful going through the ingredients of our order, food was delicious too, will definitely be ordering from them again!

A fantastic quality meal served piping hot portions very large, probably a bit to large not that I’m being critical. The staff were excellent. They have no alcohol licence but are more than happy for you to bring your own. We purchased a takeaway while there to take home to a family member. Her comment you can put in your review just how good this is.

1st time, lovely restaurant and staff and great food. A plus that you can bring your own alcohol makes for an even more enjoyable experience. Can't fault this little gem in the heart of Morriston. Well worth a visit. Cash only but there's a cashpoint just outside. 5 Stars all round.

I really had some good Indian food. The person who took the order was so calm and patient to answer all our questions regarding food. All the foods tasted really good. We were extremely satisfied eating food and enjoyed our lunch.

Who disorder to take away from this restaurant over eating their money times the foods that it's samey it was very greasy a very old. The numbered were hard overall, it was a very bad mistake to order from this restaurant. I won't be ordering from here again which was ashamed because I've enjoyed a meal here before. Maybe it's a hit or miss

Excellent sit dowm meal in this restaurant hidden away at the top of Morriston high Street. Amazing flavours in the food. The Goan chicken was very spicy but bursting with flavours. The restaurant's decor is basic, and the surrounding area unimpressive, but if you want a top class authentic curry pay the Rane Bengal a visit. Note that this restaurant does not have a licence, but you can bring your own alcohol, or buy in the convenience store next door.

Absolutely amazing food serving 27 people at short notice and still sorting take aways the same time. Friendly staff with utmost professionalism considering we arrived within 15mins of booking. Highly recommend and we will be booking again but we will be kinder and give the staff warning next time. Well done everyone who worked that night of 6/4/23

Absolutely amazing, definetly need to put prices up, too low. I know that sounds strange but I first went here 30 years ago and would hate to see it go due to costs rising, the food is worth a lot more. Best curry house in Morriston.

Food was excellent and so was the service. We had Poppadums and pickles to start followed Dhansak and Methi chicken and both were top quality. The bill was a surprise, they don't charge anywhere near enough and should increase the prices by at least £1 per meal. The restaurant is BYOB which we did from the Spar next door, all nicely chilled. This was a great night out and I gave a healthy 30% tip as I could not believe the price.

Very polite on the phone when ordering a takeaway! They were very busy on collecting! 5.30 Saturday. This meal came to just over 22 pounds. It was outstanding! Very authentic and delicious! Tandoori Chilli Chicken 10/10 plenty chunky chicken in a sauce that was spicy but so full of flavour! Chicken Tikka Masala 10/10 again lots of chicken in a spicy (not blow your head off) sauce. Pilau rice with seasoning that you don’t often find in a ‘takeaway’ rice’ Onion Bhajis also faultless! Overall, I’d recommend this place and will definitely be returning-thank you

First time ordering from Rane Bengal. Phoned an order through for collection, I was greeted with a very friendly polite voice and told my order would be 40 minutes. I went down and was told to take a seat as my order would not be too long. I loved that I was offered a glass of Coke while I waited, which I happily accepted. Such friendly efficient staff. The food was absolutely delicious and I’ll definitely order from there again in the future.

Visited Rane Bengal with a big family group. We had a wonderful evening, both the food and the service was outstanding. Will definitely be going again, and would recommend to anyone looking for quality Indian cuisine, Rane Bengal is the place to go.

Who is giving all the 5star reviews? I tried this place for the first time, and I was well disappointed sorry to say the food has no taste of spices, the rice is watery and leaves water in the plate..veggie food no taste just bland..jalfrezi tasted as if it was burnt "caught"in the pan... chips reheated?...mushroom rice greasy...madras curry "no body"...this food was served to a professional chef who wouldn't eat any more than a taste..the only curry house that deserves 5stars sadly closed down.. the curry centre cwmbwrla

10/10 experience at Rane Bengal. Staff are friendly and polite. Food was phenomenal, honestly was way better than expected. If you like Lamb, try the Kata, with mushroom rice. Also the restaurant was very neat, highly recommend sitting in to eat.

An amazing local takeaway. The food is always delicious. 😋 Not expensive either. If you sign up to their email newsletter you can get discounts now and again. I can't comment on dining in atmosphere etc, as I've never eaten in there. I would recommend it though.

Went to the Rane Bengal tonight and had a meal in the restaurant. Ordered a Kochi Murgh and Chicken Balti. The food was delicious and piping hot. The staff were helpful, polite and very nice. I would definitely recommend having food there.

Amazing! Best Indian we have EVER eaten! We called in here on Tuesday evening after reading some fantastic reviews. As soon as we walked in we were greeted immediately. The gentleman was just that, a gentleman! We were ordering food to go as the restaurant isn't open for another few weeks. We had a few of questions about a couple of the dishes and they were more than happy to answer them. We ordered a Chicken Tikka Masala, Nawabi, Keema Rice, Onion Rice & a Keema Naan. Because we were walk in customers we got 10% off our bill, and because we were first time customers we were given some lovely mint yogurts & 4 poppadoms for free. As we waited we were both offered a complimentary glass of coke on the house. The service was 2nd to none, and the members of staff couldn't have been more helpful & welcoming! The FOOD was OUTSTANDING!! This is no exaggeration! It was piping hot and the flavours were fantastic 👌 We have never eaten Indian food like this, and we can't wait to call in again, especially when the restaurant opens! Thank you so much Rane Bengal for making us feel welcome & for treating us so kindly while we waited for our food. You don't get that anymore, and it's a testament to a 40 year old family business!! Have ordered take away from here twice now. Excellent on both occasions. Generous portions and genuine difference between main meal options where so many other restaurants disappoint with clearly the same base used for most dishes. Best indian take away I've found in the Swansea area so far.

Beautiful food, but every time we order we get home and something is wrong with the order, wrong curry, food missing.. bit of a pain to be fair puts you off ordering from here.

We had two takeaways in a row Saturday and Sunday as the food was so delicious, freshly cooked and piping hot. This was our first takeaway (it certainly won't be our last) from Rane Bengal and we couldn't fault anything. I had vegetable saag and my husband Chicken Saag first night and chicken tikka masala following night. Garlic naan, garlic rice, onion bhajis and poppadums. We have found our perfect Indian takeaway at Morriston. Very polite and friendly staff. My only criticism was that I was unable to use their website to order. It didn't recognise my email address and additionally when I tried to complete order, a message kept appearing say page not found. However, I'm happy to ring to place my order in future. Spotlessly clean inside and lovely decor.

Ive used The Rane for over 40 years Fron Suba's father to Suba ,Hawel and the sons ,the food has always been excellent the service polite and professional . Always happy to do an order to your taste and will adapt a curry to your taste , can't ask for more

The food was the worst I have ever had, the rice and chicken was cooked the night before, ( a member of staff admitted this) my korma and my wife's Madras ere swimming in water, the nan must nmhave been prepared by a 2 year old. When I asked for a refund or properly prepared good the answer was come to the shop, after I told him I couldn't walk. DISGUSTING.

I can not rate this Indian enough. Fabulous food. Staff so helpful. Nan's to die for the best we've ever had. And bring your own drinks. Soft drinks served at the reception. We have been 4 times and never had a bad meal.
