Starters were not fresh and served luke warm, the atmosphere was flat and the service was below par.

Ordered food which didn’t arrive, chased it up for 2 hours….only to then be told the drivers car has broken down and we aren’t getting any food. No phone call to tell us this and left us with no food.

Absolutely excellent food. Great selection on the menu, with something for everyone. Staff were pretty good and happy to help. Truly great Indian restaurant.

Bueno, es un lugar favorito cuando venimos a Cardiff. Algo andaba mal esta vez. Hemos estado al menos 10 veces y siempre tan bien. Las bombas de chat de inicio divertido siempre por favor en el gusto. El bhel puri sabía rancio y fue realmente decepcionante que debería ser crujiente con el dulce y amargo encantador, pero por lo tanto era empapado y de sabor rancio. Un verdadero fracaso. Sí, el personal preguntó si estaba bien, pero fue minutos en comer y en ese momento el bhel puri no se había probado. El chip butty también fue una decepción en estilo y gusto. Las patatas volvieron a saber como si hubieran existido durante un tiempo y la salsa de tomate que la acompañaba era tan poco interesante. Mis socios pescado al curry era agradable y el plato de trato también. Es triste, pero ha bajado la lista de lugares a los que quiere volver a toda prisa. En un aspecto positivo el personal es siempre eficiente y encantador.

Best curry house in Cardiff. The king prawn kholapuri is phenomenal and probably my favourite curry ever. Staff are always lovely, service is prompt and atmosphere is great. Don’t change!

Después de un largo día en el trabajo llegué a un mowglis muy ocupado pedí un cordero biriyani que era excepcional tamaño de porción muy agradable y salsa de curry muy sabrosa para acompañar al cordero lo recomiendo encarecidamente también bhajis gigantes de tan buena calidad siempre vengo bk mejor sabor curry por una milla gracias mowglis también el camarero en la barra tomando pedidos un makin bebidas fue muy agradable y atento gracias.

Compré una comida para llevar desde aquí el otro día, pero me decepcionó mucho. Siempre he pensado que esto era lo mejor la mejor comida para llevar india en Whitchurch y uno de los mejores en Cardiff. Sin embargo, la comida que comí era apenas comestible! Tenía muy poco sabor y ninguna especia / calor en absoluto. No volveré a comer aquí.

Great food when on a shopping or cinema trip. Really good service. You have to queue to get in, but it never takes long.

Had a wonderful meal with my wife at Mowgli's last night, the food was fantastic and seriously healthy portions, and I have to say the staff and service was absolutely first class, looking forward to returning again soon.

¡No es genial! Tuvimos una mala experiencia con Uber eats (entrega mucho más de hora y media - no es culpa de los restaurantes) se rindió después de que la aplicación dijo que había sido entregado, por lo que terminó cocinando (9 . ¡45 pm! ) entonces la comida apareció veinte minutos después de que la aplicación dijera entregado! El conductor acaba de decir que no es su área habitual, así que ¿por qué recoger desde allí entonces? La reseña es de 1 estrella ya que mi pareja y yo encontramos la comida muy poco apetitosa. La primera vez que no he comido un curry (si se puede llamar así, ninguna especia en absoluto y mis compañeros se parecían, sabor y apariencia, de un frasco del supermercado y partes del pollo eran como un picadillo). Un poco de estómago dudoso después también. El pan estaba bien, pero por desgracia no volveremos a pedir desde aquí. Disculpas por la mala crítica pero el estándar no era bueno. Perdí dinero y tiempo en este pedido.

This has been our go to curry house for the past ten years. Others have come and gone but Mowgli's has continued to provide top quality food and service. The menu includes vegetarian, meat, poultry and fish. Our party of 4 had mixed starters followed by a number of different main courses. Mine was the harityali beef masala which was exceptional, fully of favour with the tender meat flaking away in your mouth. The staff are really helpful and the service was excellent. Clearly this curry house is one of the best in Cardiff. Value for money it can't be beaten.

Such a lovely service here, the food is 10/10. Go for coconut naan for sureeee. So lovely. All the curry dishes are 10/10 as well. Price is v reasonable, 3 ppl £17-19 on average will get ur tummy stuffed lol.

I recently visited Mowgli's with a couple of my mates, and it was a fabulous experience! The food was absolutely amazing—delicious, flavorful, and it perfectly fulfilled my spicy cravings. The service was top-notch as well. I highly recommend anyone to give it a try at least once. They have a good selection of vegetarian options, and there's also a bar available. I can't wait to visit again! Thank you for the wonderful dining experience!

We usually dine in, however, also collect and have never had any issues. Staff are friendly, service oriented and the food is always delicious. It is always a please to sample their ample menu. Without doubt, out favourite Indian in Cardiff.

Things missing from the order, food was cold, rang the same night to make a complaint was told my next order would be free, phoned a couple of weeks later and spoke to a very rude man who suggested the best he could do was 25% off and suggested I was lying after showing proof

Fantastic food for the six of us…highly attentive to our needs. Celebrating my birthday and I jokingly asked for a candle in my desert and all the staff came out singing happy birthday to me…fabulous. Had a really great night with extra large servings there were a few doggy bags required. Highly recommend many thanks

This wasn’t at the restaurant it was food delivered from there Caerphilly Road takeaway. Freezing cold food not even warmed before it was sent out. Tried to heat it but it was completely inedible disgusting taste even to boiled rice was disgusting. The warmest thing was the tub of salad that came with it. The guy who answered the phone to take my complaint hardly spoke a word of English, but managed to tell me to FO!

I went to mowglis on Friday night… we ordered a butter chicken, saag paneer and lamb hydrebad… the first two were far too sweet and did not taste very good. The lamb was very nice, however for the last 2 days I have had food poisoning and I think it was due to the lamb as I did not have much of the other two dishes

We read the reviews before we booked as we always do and they looked great but I was so disappointed. I ordered onion bhajee to start and it was a huge potion which put me off straight away but it had clearly not been cooked fresh, it was barely warm and really stodgy, too much flour, hardly any onion, not at all crispy. My curry was ok but the prawns were chewy. My husband ordered the chicken mohani, it was sweet and looked like gravy. The chicken looked reformed. I didn’t taste it, the look on his face was enough to put me off! It’s a real shame as the website says they have won awards and is the best Indian restaurant in Cardiff, absolutely definitely not!!! Not cheap either. We will definitely not be going back!!!

I recently placed an order for a family curry for 15 from the Crwys Road branch. The staff were very helpful on ordering. The order was ready on time on the day of collection, which often is not the case when ordering takeouts. We ordered the chicken tikka and the chicken tikka burani, both family favourites. Both were delicious. The portions were generous and thoroughly enjoyed by all. Many thanks to all at Mowglis - We will be back. If you haven't been yet, I would recommend visiting either branch.

- The restaurant's vegetarian options are quite restricted. - The Roti and Naan served have unusually large sizes and lack the softness expected of authentic Indian cuisine. As an Indian, I am familiar with the traditional preparation. - Unfortunately, the staff did not appear to take my feedback seriously. In short, test is not true indian.

Ambiance is good. But its a bit of a gloomy lighting. Expected authentic indian spices but all the curries were a bit sweet. Service can be improved.

Absolutely phenomenal! Best curry house in Cardiff. Never disappoints be it a sports match day, a weekend or another day in the week! I recommend the Saag Paneer for the veggies out there! My girlfriend loves the chicken dishes! Naan bread, poppadoms, chips and rice are all fantastic! Service is great as usual! We get takeaway as we live round the corner and eat in whenever we have friends and family over! Either works and both times are brilliant! You really can't beat this place and we count ourselves lucky to live so close!

Food was good, but delivery is absolutely disgusting, rude and even aggressive. Will not use these again because of this.

The restaurant says it’s Indian flavours. But it is more like from the neighbouring countries like Bangladeshi. Very sweet food. Also, before ordering we specifically asked the server to confirm from the chef if the food can be made according to actual Indian taste. He ensured that it would be the perfect Indian spice instead it was all too sweet. Probably not the best place to visit if you looking for authentic Indian food. Must try Chai street instead.

As we are expecting authentic Indian flavour from the restaurant but it's end up into more mild and favourable to the non Indians. Rice was half cook, non of the dish is stand out distinctively. Overall below average. But table service and the ambiance is awesome worth to experience but not for food.

Mowgli’s Indian restaurant! From Duck and prawn starters , to amazing mains this restaurant really does create and serve beautiful inspired Indian cuisine. Our first visit and already planning to go back . What a fabulous Jewel in the Cardiff suburbs.Crwys Road to be exact .

I usually have a good experience at this store but on my last visit i ordered oniok bhaji andbrhey were terrible. They were rock solid as of they were not freshly made and as if they had been heated up.
