I can't stop raving about Townhill Tandoori! The food here is absolutely amazing. The variety of dishes on the menu is impressive, and each one is expertly prepared with the freshest ingredients. The Garlic Naan was a personal favorite - crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The ambiance is cozy and welcoming, making it the perfect spot for a delicious meal with friends or family. Five stars all around!

The top spot to dine in Swansea, hands down. Their food is amazing, seriously authentic, and bursting with incredible flavors.

I've been grabbing grub from this Indian restaurant for months. It's my top spot for curry. The food's top-notch, prices are reasonable, and everything tastes super fresh. Plus, it's just around the corner from my place, which is super convenient.

Enjoyed a delightful meal. The naan bread was perfectly fluffy, and my dish featured a satisfying blend of authentic spices.

An absolute gem of a place. Great staff, all food made absolutely fresh to order. All homemade, not processed pizza bases or stuff like that. Honestly...try it, you will not be disappointed. 5 * all the way.

Bhajis were tasteless, ordered a basic curry far to hot, my wife's food tasted full of sugar, I tried you because people said your food was banging,probley the worst curry I have had, expensive compared to my local takeaway, won't rushing to order with you again!!!!

Had food from townhill tandoori last night.. the masala was the blandest I’ve ever had. This used to be my favourite curry takeaway but unfortunately it hasn’t been a one off.. a few weeks earlier the chicken was cooked so dry. So disappointed I won’t be returning.

We have tried what must be all of Swansea's Indian food restaurants over the years and the takeaway meals that we have had from Townhill Tandooris are among the best. As vegans, we are well catered for on their online menu. Prompt delivery of hot food, consistently delicious. We will be ordering again very soon. (Our experiences bear no resemblance whatever to the dubious one star reviews!)

Food was lovely but not what we ordered. Ordered 2 chicken tikka saags and had normal chicken, despite paying extra for chicken tikka.

After trying to pre book as stated on website, finally got to order the valentines meal deal(wish I didn't bother) Ordered the meal to Come at 10pm. Turned up at 11.05. Apart from being short of some items that were in the meal deal, it was cold , the chicken tikka sag was more like a bhuna, I would never order from here again. On the plus side the guy who delivered the meal was very appoligetic.

Food arrived late and was missing drinks, chutney and rice. Phoned the restaurant to ask for them to be delivered and they said they’d deliver them but they never came.

Order came minus poppadoms phoned restaurant who said they would come back with them two hours later phoned restaurant again who then said they were too busy to come back had a refund and had to argue about a refund on the chutneys as it’s obviously no good without poppadoms also long waiting times when you order

Disgusted…having supported this place since opening I have had 3 awful meals on the bounce and grown tired of trying to discuss with the site. Terrible management and diabolical service. Food always arrives 2hrs after ordering and cold,the last meal was so bad it couldn’t be eaten and I returned it the next day and hung it off their door handle for them to look through. I then rang them to discuss the ‘slop’ I was sent and they couldn’t be bothered to return my call as they knew it was inedible! No refund required and I will eat else where now. SHOCKING……

Delivery times consistently excessive. 1hr 30later food arrives , on weekday … The madras was lukewarm and watery to the point there was a puddle of water on my plate !!!!! onion bhajis inedible due to a strange off taste ….. Naan bread was STONE COLD … and poppadums did not arrive with order . Repeated issues with this place with deliveries in the past to which they always say sorry .. won’t happen again ..and then it does . Have even done collections and STILL same thing happens when collecting tell you 30th so turn up … end up waiting around another 15mins !!!! Tonight final straw . Considering the price they are charging would think they undertake much better quality control checks .food was inedible tonight and went in the bin …AVOID

They owe me money for missing food!!!! My partner was ill from our meal took 2.5 hours disgusting service. I'm reporting them to trading standards and he environmental health!!!

It's such a shame because the food here is absolutely fantastic, best I've had in Swansea. But this time when we ordered from here we had a terrible experience. After 2 hours of waiting I phoned them and they said it wouldn't be long, so I waited another half hour and then called back. They then told me that my order was out for delivery and had left the restaurant. Half an hour later I had to call again! They told me it would definitely be there within 5 minutes and to call back if it wasn't. Of course it wasn't so I called back again and eventually said they would make my order fresh and send a partial refund with the new driver. I appreciate that they did something to compensate for the situation, but it had been 3 1/2 hours of waiting by the time it had arrived! We only live 5 minutes drive away! The food is absolutely delicious here but can't say the same about the service. It was a Saturday so of course they're going to be busy, which is why I waited 2 hours to call! But 2 hours is long enough waiting, let alone 3 1/2. Was absolutely starving! They didn't even put anything in with the new order, not even poppadoms as a gesture. The driver who delivered it told us that the restaurant is an absolute shambles and it was his first night working there but he wouldn't be going back! It's a shame because the food is gorgeous but won't be buying from here again.

As per the review… the food is really good if you collect or can wait 3hours for it to be delivered (after a 2h estimate)… with an extra £2 to deliver just over a mile away, but the food doesn’t come after waiting 3 hours and then you need to call repeatedly or get narky which isn’t in your dna. Hungry, tired and just want to sleep

Ordered food from here to celebrate a family birthday not only was the food late by 3 hrs there was missing items, to top it off we asked if it be easier and quicker to pick it up and the reply was it wouldn't be any faster. Another hour went past and still nothing, at this point they informed us if we had picked it would be quicker. Not satisfied not even a sorry.

Decent priced and generous servings. My lamb jalfrezi had plenty of lamb within. The rice was lovely and the sag aloo was also delicious. I’ll definitely Go back again.

Yeh sure, the food took an hour to arrive, but it was freshly cooked and delicious. I made a mistake on my online order, and when I called to correct it, they did that for free. Will definitely order again; great food, cheaper than others, and lovely service. Thank you!

Overall fairly disappointing. I had the vegetable madras and it was filled with green beans, sweetcorn and peas, seemingly from a bag of frozen vegetables - definitely nothing special. The onion bhajis were tasty but soggy. The paneer biryani was average, with not much flavour. All the food was piping hot as if it had just been microwaved. However, the chips were delicious and I'd come back purely for a bag of them. Wouldn't recommend overall, there's much better Indians about.

Haven’t been back since the lockdown. Limited menu No Onion Bhargis on menu . However had 4mains sides 17/07/20 absolutely amazing. Restaurant quality. Khochi Murgh my sons thought it was the business plenty of chicken and cooked perfectly. My wife’s Bhuna best she’s tasted . My Lamb Goa Vindaloo was very tasty with all the spices as advertised not bland at all . However I was under the impression that a Goa was creamy like I had in restaurants. Ordered and paid online which was simple and straight forward. Delivery was within the time it stated and the lady who delivered our food was very friendly and pleasant. The food was delicious and full of flavour and looked gorgeous with the deep red colours. Definitely value for money and will be ordering again.

After seeing a post on Facebook I decided to go for a Chicken Tikka Kebab. It was a big portion and very tasty. Also ordered a chutney tray which my wife took half of. Very nice food, will definitely go back again!

There are few Indian takeaways I will order from but this has to be my new favourite curry was tasty and the meat samosa were something else.
