The best restaurants serving Indian food in England

We moved to Sale over 2yrs ago and struggled to find a good curry. We would travel out to collect or sit in. Tonight after a busy day baths pjs and ordered a delivery from a place we always go to, they never arrived 2hrs later!!. Money back we decided to chance the Green Pepper via deliveroo. Well we were extremely surprised. The food was delicious! Both kids are ASD and can be fussy with change, both plates were empty. The food was piping hot and full of flavour. Can't wait to come into the restaurant to sit in next time. Thank you. Think we've found our new Indian restaurant not far from our front door. 👌🏻

I have a genuine appreciation for good biryani and understand the hard work that goes into making it. I rarely criticize food because I respect the effort behind every dish. However, despite keeping that in mind, the Indian Dream Biryani I ordered from this place was the worst I’ve ever had. Where is the flavor, Chef? Where is the salt? I wouldn’t even mind if it was just lacking salt—I could always sprinkle some on. But flavor? This biryani had none. I’ve never tasted something so bland in my life. Now I understand why you serve a sizable portion of vegetable curry with it—just so people can taste something. A good biryani shouldn’t need a side curry, chutney, or dip to be enjoyable. Honestly, I felt sick after eating it. I really hope you work on your ingredients and flavors to improve this dish. I lost £13.95 on this meal, and it wasn’t worth it. For comparison, even the £3 biryani from Biriyanish, Reading tastes like heaven next to this.

No estaba sintiendo hambre, pero solo quería ordenar sobre la marcha para llevar. La comida era increíble champiñón bhaji era excelente comida increíble, nunca supe que el camarero era también uno de los chefs talentoso camarero joven y chef no se ve que todos los días, él era muy amable y servicial me recomendó algunos platos de arroz para ir bien con el champiñón bhaji guarnición y funcionan!. Definitivamente voy a venir de nuevo y pedir un curry esta vez con algunos amigos y me gusta ver a ese camarero talentoso cocinar nuestra comida también.

Delivery was by the happiest man I've ever met, food was hot and full of flavour. Can't wait to try the other things om the menu.

Staying at St Mellion golf resort for the second year running and got a take away as the one we had last year was first of class. Was not disappointed once again. Great service, reasonably priced and excellent quality food with an extensive menu. Hope to see you again next year if not before.

We went for an evening out and all I can say is the food is amazing. All piping hot, beautifully cooked and plentiful. The onion bhajis are amazing the the paratha was the best I have ever tasted. Can’t wait to return and this is now our go to restaurant for a meal out. Thank you for an amazing experiences

Ordered tonight as a takeaway, lamb rogan josh , mild to medium, and a garlic chilli chicken, cooked beautifully, tastiest curries we have had , dined in previously and always just as lovely, thanks again for the lovely food 😋

He was one of my best experience in a restaurant. The environment very nice, very quiet and the food. Very good quality. Very good fast service. I can say what's a very good experience. And I will come again any time. Rec. Recommend for other people to come and to eat in this place.

We popped in on an impromptu night out and I am so glad we did! The food and service was outstanding. As a family of four with two young children, I felt like they couldn't do enough for us.

First time visit this evening and was really pleased. Service was excellent and very polite. Kingfisher on draught. Food was really good. Naan to die for, light and crispy, had Tandoori chicken, which comes on a ‘sizzler’ hot plate, perfectly cooked and full of flavour. Could not fault it and will visit again, If not for the food, just to see the worlds smallest hand dryer in the gents 😉😆

Absolute rubbish - ‘standard’ Indian menu and choices done really badly. The chicken wrap was inedible and the curry loaded with chilli powder.

That was the worst curry i have ever had most of it went in the bin never again £35 we will never get back !!!!

Just had a delivery and if I could give no stars I would, first of drink was missing so the driver did refund me, that's ok. Secondly, I asked for Veg samosa and I got meat ones so I couldn't eat them so I through them out. The bombay potato was rock hard, that got binned. The poppadom's tasted and smelt like plastic. The chicken tikka bhuna was ok but the rest was awful. I use to get takeaways here quite regularly and they were tasty, I can't even give the food 1 out of 10, I am shocked and gobsmacked.
