The best restaurants serving Indian food in England

Came here as part of a large group for dinner and the staff were very helpful accommodating us. We ordered a range of curries and it would be fair to say the food ranged between ok and good. Not outstanding or consistent which I would expect for what was a reasonably expensive Indian. The special curries were better than the more basic ones on the menu. One of us complained that here tasted of Heinz tomato soup! Overall it was ok if you are in the area and fancy a curry but not a place worth travelling too. Came to about £45 per person for mains starters and a few beers.

The nicest Indian we have ever had, will definitely order again when we are back in stoke on Trent 🥰

Food is excellent, and good atmosphere but be careful when you pay, our bill was £24.95 per person and they charged me £62 for two. They basically overcharged me by £12. I had opted to not pay tip because they kicked us out as they only allow you to stay there 90 minutes because of train delays we were 20 min late in the beginning .

Quiet lunchtime but gorgeous food and great service.

If you are near the North Pier this Restaurant is well worth a visit. I order 'off menu' and am never disappointed...

Have used this takeaway for 20yrs and its never let me down. Im not a korma/tikka masala fan, I always opt for spicy currys like Naga, Garlic Chilli Chicken or Chef Recommendations with extra heat and always enjoyed everything.

Gave this curry house one final try, nothing but disappointment. Been using this curry house for multiple years. Was told 1hr delivery, after 1&1/2hrs still no delivery. No offer of discount. Would avoid

Terrible.......Ordered starter of Tandoori prawns. 4 pieces all tasting like tandoori rubber.Main watery rice dishes tasted like old rice. Never again

Overall Good food with Authentic taste Pros + good menu selection + cleanliness + staff was courteous + thali is very nice + veg options + they took care of a small customization request Cons - quantity in thali was a bit less but overall ok

Little bit disappointed, always order from here on the online service normally amazing and with us in 25 mins. Tonight we ordered at 5:03 on the online service website. Thinking it had all gone through and the money came out of my bank, an hour later and still no food. Gave them a call and the man explained the server is down and there isn’t much he can do. Then it came through and he said would be 40 mins, this was at 5:52 it didn’t arrive until 6:50. Nearly 2 hours of a wait altogether for our food.

Quality of karak chaii is bad. Last two times I got and it was cold.

Extremely friendly service and wow the food! Delicious. I had the Tandoori Chicken Biryani and it was just amazing. Definitely try the Chai as well. Definitely go when in Oxford.

Curry never turned up. Delivery driver was apsolutely awful rude. So was the team at curry nights. They did nothing for me getting my order. And just blamed just eat.

It's not Indian food.. Fake. Calling it Indian does not make it so. Food tasted sweet, parathas inedible. Horrible experience, waste of time and money. Only non Indians or people who have no knowledge of Indian food could possibly get fooled.
