The best restaurants serving Indian food in England

Alright I've given it a 5 in all categories given it's probably the most banging curry house in the land. Word to the wise though don't stay past 9pm as one of the delivery drivers did a huge shit which gassed the entire place out

Ordered £80+ of food for birthday celebration, delivered by Just Eat (a great delivery guy, friendly & polite) The food was excessively oily, parathas which are usually dry fried, were dripping in oil as if they'd been deep fried, had to bin them as totally inedible ( a waste of £15 on parathas). So disappointing as food previously purchased used to be nice

We have been going to the Shapla for years. Always serves delicious food to eat in and take away. Very friendly and efficient service.

The best Indian takeaway locally

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ brilliant restaurant with tasty food ! We took our little girls and were made to feel so welcome. The ice-cream at the end was an added bonus - thank you! We Will be back!

Popped in this evening, very busy time but the food was superb and worth the wait. Picked up a takeaway but there was a lovely atmosphere and everyone dining in appeared to be having a nice relaxing experience. Will definitely visit again soon.

The delivery was over 1 hour. Food cold , chips absolutely awful . I wasn't very well at all so I was looking forward to it But this food gave me sickness straight after eating it. Very disappointed!!! 😔 Never again mugals

I ordered two takeaway dishes—chicken chilli bhuna and chicken and mushroom balti. Surprisingly, they looked nearly identical and tasted much the same, with the only difference seeming to be the addition of chillies in one and mushrooms in the other. Both were bland, lacking in flavour, and overall a real disappointment.

Been ordering from here for a couple of years always told no we don’t do halal meat as I won’t touch it just went to order and was told yes our meat is halal so will now be reporting to trading standards for false advertising 😡😡😡disgusting

This is a regular curry house for our ladies night out. Great food, good service and the team are always accommodating to our requests. Bring your own alcohol and you’re in for a lovely night! Thank you 🤩

First time on Saturday and will be many more. Thanks Jimmy. I thought the menu was pricey but then I had the most fantastic authentic Indian food ever and realised it was worth every penny😄
