Awful service, waited over 2 hours for a delivery that stated it woul be an hour after ordering!! Used to be good here hence why I ordered, guy on the phone kept saying on it's way, when I rang the 4th time another person said they were just packing it up from the kitchen!!! Poor poor poor

Very pleased with the food, good service at a sensible price. Bombay Blues has an extensive menu and allows you to take your own alcoholic beverages.

Modern, spacious Indian . Many unusual fusion dishes plus the regular favourites. You can take your own bottles or buy in house. Service was slow but is therefore freshly cooked and very tasty. Takeaways available too. Clean toilets.

Two members of staff had called in sick and they had a large table celebrating a birthday. This did not affect the service or food quality at all and the young lad absolutely rocked it. Thank you!

Lovely clean restaurant with delicious food. This was the first time that we had a meal in the restaurant though, after having enjoyed numerous takeaways from here before. Such a lovely place and friendly staff, it definitely won't give you the "blues" 😆

Food was as lovely as ever but didn't taste as nice as usual. It was cooked properly chicken should be as we all know. Service was bit slap dash had to ask for drinks Service where as usually they would come an ask would you like a drink. Then at the end of meal they bought us those hot individual towels wipe hands ect. No complimentary chocolates until I had to go to counter ask for bill. Other than that lovely time had by me & the family

Staff are friendly, georgeous food, everything was so good and you can either use the bar or byob. What's not to like? Will be back soon.

Ordered for the first time ever and was so pleased with the service , the food was spot on , clean plates all round. The driver was super friendly and helpful . I had made a mistake on my order and they rang to check and sorted it out . Will definitely be using them again . Delivery was fast and food warm

Lovely food, I can thoroughly recommend the 3g Curry and the Rajasthan Paharia. Great flavours and nicely presented, love the serving dishes. Wine also good value for money. Waiter was attentive but not overly so and was polite and knowledgeable.

All the food was acceptable whilst one dish - lamb jalfrezi - was particularly good. Service started out fine. I opted for a special menu including a poppadom, chutneys, starter, main dish, and rice for £15. But service slowed to a crawl after the starter. It was about 45 mins before I received the main course.

Fabulous meal as always, my favourite restaurant!

We booked a table for 4 for early on a Thursday evening. On arrival we were shown to a table set for 5. The waiter removed one place setting, but not the chair. The table cloth was dirty, with a mark as if something had been splashed on it. ; when we remarked on it, the waiter said, oh it's clean, it's just a mark from the wine. He didn't offer us another table, although the restaurant was almost empty, or to change the cloth. The staff weren't at all welcoming and it felt as if we were a nuisance. The menus were grubby and amateurish and one of our party was given tap water instead of the tonic water she'd ordered. To be fair, the food was OK, but the presentation felt cheap and nasty and the general lack of care and poor atmosphere spoiled it. The naan bread was dry and unpleasant, but the pillau rice very good. We were overcharged but couldn't be bothered to argue. We won't be going back and wouldn't recommend to anyone esle.

We have a monthly curry night at the Bombay Blues as employees from Iceland in Kidderminster. The food is excellent and reasonably priced. There is also a £15.00 deal available at the time of writing. The restaurant is clean and well presented, and the staff are friendly and efficient. There is usually street parking available in the evening, and also a car park at the bottom of the street. As a group we order from across the menu, and we have never been disappointed.

Well what a change decor is a lot better and it's warmer you can take your own alcohol they'll provide glasses & ice. Food has improved too.

Absolutely lovely food and friendly staff. However, tonight took absolutely ages for the food to be served apparently due to 'a large amount of Uber orders'. Clearly their priorities need adjustment.

Food was lovely and hot, service was excellent and staff were friendly. The restaurant was nice and clean only picky thing was, they could have more atmospheric ambient lighting, it felt a little like dining in a bright hotel restaurant. All in all a good experience and fab food for our party of 10. Bonus - being able to take in our own alcohol.

Really good value for money and byob makes for a great deal. Food was excellent and service very good. We arrived for 6:30 pm and the place was already quite full, always a good sign, good job we booked ahead. Probably one of the few in the Indian restaurants area offering 'bring your own drinks'. Well worth a visit.

Table booked for 4 people, Poor selection of drinks but we're told after we arrived we could have taken our own, waiter service ok but food took ages and to be honest wasn't the best but it was ok. Overall the place looks tired, dated and in need of a revamp, they obviously do a lot of deliveries as the driver was constantly in and out with his young child in tow. We wouldn't sadly book again to eat there.

I have no idea how this gets good reviews. Terrible food just sauce and some kind of meat. Staff were not friendly. And I certainly wouldn't trust the kitchen cleanliness. If your mission is drinking then its not eating.

My favourite India restaurant. Nothing compares to here. Always our go to place when at Kidderminster. Will still go back even though we had moved to Lincolnshire. Food always top notch and consistently good.

Booked in for an early slot (6:30pm). We took advantage of their BYOB offer and turned up with wine and beer in hand. For starters we ordered Sheesh Kabab and Onion Bhaji both very tasty dishes, followed by Chicken Tikka Karahi, Lamb Rajistani Paharia, Mushroom Pilau, Garlic & Coriander Nan and a very generous portion of chips. The meal was gorgeous on every level, taste and portion size. The customer service was very good with regular visits from the staff to ensure we were happy 😊 The restaurant was quite busy last night which made for a great atmosphere. So for £30 for the two of us this really represents excellent value for money 💰

We ordered our food at 18:15hrs after passing the first time for delivery by 20mins We rang Bombay Blue to be told that it would be 30mins before it would be ready delivery We rang again after 25mins to be told they were waiting waiting for a driver to deliver our food. Not once did they ring to say our food would be late. Our food eventually arrived at 21:00hrs. We were given some extra popdoms and onion bhajis as an apology.

We have been tanking this place for takeaways through the latest lockdown. Fabulous food, large portions at very reasonable prices. As a hot curry lover they have been happy to pimp my choices to Vindaloo level without a problem. The Mix Masala last night was outstanding. Melt in the mouth king prawns with perfectly cooked lamb and chicken tikka. Fiery hot and full of flavour. My wife has become a Jai Ho 700 devotee. I always collect and the service has been excellent and safe during these difficult times. Look forward to using the restaurant when it fully opens again. Highly recommended.

I've never been one to have an issue with a restaurant! But this has to be said! I was disgusted by the service tonight! We ordered at 6:30pm but didn't recieve our food until 9:45pm. I understand that covid has impacted so many businesses but this is dreadful! We called the restaurant 63 times exactly! And they answered once! Then the restaurants staff who delivered the food was rude and didn't stick to covid guide lines which is unbelievable! As for the food! Most of it was okay! But some was cold and soggy! Some chicken didn't even look cooked! I will never be ordering from this place again! Don't give an estimated time of 7:45pm when you can't stick to it or giving the customer a call to let them know its going to be late!

No complimentary Poppadoms, but our meals of Lamb Tikka Rajasthani Paharia, Chicken Tikka Pathia ordered together with a Garlic Nan and Mushroom Rice more than made up it. Really tasty dishes 😋

Had a takeaway Sunday evening. By far the best Indian I have had. Some wonderful starters & mains on here that I have not seen anywhere else. Cooked to perfection.

Made very welcome by attentive and courteous staff. Exceptional food and excellent service fully supports the 5 star reviews for this restaurant. Have eaten here on numerous occasions now and the levels of service and quality of food never falter. If you haven’t eaten here already, give yourselves a treat and enjoy authentic Asian food in a wonderful restaurant with professional ‘old fashioned’ service.

Attended this restaurant with my sister for a catch up, we received a very warm welcome and was shown very quickly to our table, my sister had the chicken balti and I had the vegetable byriani. The food was extremely well cooked and tasted amazing. Would highly recommend. Social distancing was being taken seriously so felt happy to be there.

The worst Indian meal I’ve had in a long time, curry full of sugar, worst presented egg fried rice and bad service. If you want a decent Indian go somewhere else.

Me and my wife are obsessed with a Bombay Blue since we decided to try it a few weeks ago as a takeaway. They have curries I’d never heard of but are incredibly flavoursome and great portions. You pay slightly more than most curry houses but it’s worth every penny. Our favourites are the Slumdog bites, 3G curry, Chef special curry, Himachal Bhuna and the Chennai Karelia Laziz. We mix up what we have as they are all so nice. Even the mint sauce they send with the takeaways is tastier than usual.

The food and service was amazing well worth the visit. A must try 👍👍 excellent value for money. The lamb was to die for 👍👍

Have had Christmas day lunch here for the past few years. The food is always very nice but does not feel like Christmas in there.

Usually have a very good meal here, last night however was a disappointment.Arrived about 7:15pm and were greeted by very helpful staff, the meals were ordered and we settled down for a lovely dining experience. The starters came out, very happy with the service and food, this was followed by mains, unfortunately my better half was served a Masala instead of the Jalfrezi she ordered. Profuse apologies,offer to keep the wrong meal gratis and a replacement all very well handled by the staff. When the Jalfrezi came out it seemed to be rushed and scruffy and the meat turned out to be really tuff, really difficult to cut even.We finished our meals and asked for the bill, they knocked 90p off the bill, really friendly staff, but the food was unusually lacking last night. My meals were great but the atmosphere was spoilt by this experience.

One of the four best Indian restaurants in town, you just can't go wrong.Booked an early evening meal, by 7:30 p.m. the place was rammed! Real buzz to the place. Onion Bhaji and Sheesh Kebab for starter's, really good. This followed by Rajasthani Paharia, Chicken Tikka Karahi with Garlic Nan and Mushroom Rice. Brilliant flavours and great value for money made better by bringing our own drinks.

Four hungry working men Working in the area and was recommended this place from a pub landlord just up the road!And it didn’t let us down!! Although it was touch and go to start with! Walked in this place at 10pm and the guy said only takeaways as they had a few issues with the restaurant. After a good chat he let us in to order up quickly whilst he done a delivery! Meanwhile the chef stepped in to take the orders and overall it was bloody great! Didn’t go for a starter but popadoms and chutneys went down a treat, nice and crispy and nice selection of chutneys ! Straight on to mains with a lamb madras, chicken tikka dahnsak chicken korai, and a lamb rogan josh! I personally loved the spice level and consistency of the curry, it really was just the way I like curry! Rice was light and fluffy and naan breads were also spot on.overall although we had to force a table upon ourselves all credit to the manager for allowing it and letting us get on with it! We aren’t bothered by fancy table service and we all were very satisfied when finished! I would highly recommend this place and I would definitely return if ever in the area! Top food and very good price! And very understanding management. The best way to treat people is to give them what you do best and that was cook Indian food !

Lighting was poor, extremely quiet when we arrived and the plate my dish arrived in was covered in clingfilm. As someone who has worked in a kitchen for the last 2 years I knew my food was simply microwaved. I didn't dislike the experience but I would choose to go elsewhere next time.

Really nice restaurant to be able to alter dishes for you plus you can take your own alcohol so it is nice and cheap. Staff are always friendly and look after you. Decor needs some attention!

Nice curry and great service from the guys

This was our daughters first experience of eating a curry at a restaurant and she really enjoyed the food, which is amazing because she is a very fussy eater. Staff are friendly and don’t bother you every 2 mi utes. It’s a great place to take your own drinks too. Will definitely return.

This is by far my favourite indian restraunt to visit. The staff are really kind and enthusiastic and the food is amazing. You won't walk away from this place with an empty stomach. You can bring your own drinks so you don't have to pay for them there. I have no complaints as I have never been disappointed when eating here. It's perfect for nights out on any day and is great for work meals etc. 5/5

We arrived late due to working I mean like gone 12. They were brilliant we were seated and eating within 15 minutes. Food was out of this world. Fast and efficient service. Well done Bombay blues. Would well recommend.

My friend and I always choose Bombay over all of the other Indian restaurants in kidderminster as the quality of the food is excellent. I'm a vegan and they cater for me, very knowledgeable about what I can eat. I love the surroundings and its always impeccably clean,it's a pleasure to eat here. We find the waiters friendly, professional yet always happy to have a laugh with you. 5 stars for this place. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Pretty quiet when my partner and I went for a meal (very useful for us with anxiety history) the staff were very polite and welcoming. Food was amazing and served in brilliant time, although when they felt it was taking longer, they came and apologised and explain the delay....we thought the food service time was brilliant though. Had a lovely chat with one member of staff and discussed the possibility of a family visit with having 4 very young children they were more than happy to help with making arrangements to suit our needs. Definitely going back

For starter's we chose Chicken Tikka ( nice but could have been served hotter ) and Nargis Kebab for me, very tasty.

I had a lovely vegetarian meal from here. The chana masala is excellent and although it is only a side dish there is enough for a main course.
