We regularly visit this restaurant & could not be anymore happier with the level of service & food delivered. Delivery is absolutely spot on & the guys in the restaurant do an incredible job at providing the service they do. Very friendly, very respectful & 5* food.

Food was well cooked and well presented and arrived quickly. Staff were attentive and friendly, menu was extensive.

What a gem , truly amazing food, every single dish, starter, or even dips are Absolutely Amazing, I'm so glad we decided to try, definitely a place to come back, can't wait......, so,so delicious 😋

We've been to Zain's twice, the first visit the food tasted good though the service wasn't the best. We did have dodgy stomachs for days after but put this down to asking for a spicier balti. The 2nd time my partner's chicken pakora starter contained raw chicken, my balti (no extra spice this time) seemed lacking flavour. We both had bad stomachs again for a few days. The service also wasn't great. Some of the young lads there need some training on how to interact with customers. I don't like leaving negative reviews but this was my honest experience and I was disappointed as we initially thought we'd found a new favourite restaurant.

The folk of Stourport will all know which are their favourite 'Indians' but if like me, you fancy a little ride out and want to try somewhere new then here is a good place to begin. It's been around for 10 years or so and therefore must be doing something right. What was a first for me us is that it is a 3 level restaurant, I don't know of another one. The layout would be ideal for separate parties or groups. The entrance to it from the large rear car park gives no indication of what's inside. For some reason I thought of a night club which gives you a clue as to my age. From start to finish I couldn't find fault with anything. The staff were very pleasant and helpful in assisting the wife who is quite 'specific' in what she wants. I am easily pleased as I have a few dishes that I go for. We started with a vegetable pakora which they split onto two plates for us. It was excellent and obviously freshly prepared which makes a change. Our mains of chicken dupiaza and capsilla were again excellent. Very flavoursome and moist chicken, the wife said it was the best dish she has had in a long time. It was more of a Jalfrezi but without the heat. Both portions were deceptively large and like our starters were very nicely presented. The sides were very good, large portions which we didn't manage to finish. Finally a pistachio matka kulfi, including the free pot that it comes in. The bill overall was pretty reasonable for what we had plus also got a takeaway from the leftovers.

Very tasty! Excellent staff very friendly! Wouldn't go anywhere else in town. Take aways as well good portions and quality..

What the bloody hell has happened to this place normally a good meal been going for years good customers. Tonight was awful phoned to complain and they couldn't care less if it could have been sorted this review wouldn't have gone on. We've accepted missed sauce very occasionally missed food but tonight was an all time low. My balti looked like a tomato pasta sauce and tasted like it!!!!! The madras looked and tasted the very same the meat was hard. Umm.. l get mistakes and errors but your lack of customer service is appalling put it right!!!! You have lost a good customer

Had a takeaway delivered tonight and although it arrived within the time stated, it was cold. Chips were like scratchings. The curry was also swimming in oil. Unfortunately the last few curries we have had from here have been tasteless and bland. There just seems to be an ingredient missing in the curry? So we will have to try somewhere else. Shame really as they're really friendly and the restaurant is spotless clean.

We went for the £16.95 deal. We liked the food, large portions but were left feeling a bit ripped off when we were charged an additional £4.55 for 2 poppadoms! We also asked to take the leftovers home and were charged an extra £3 for this on the bill! With cobra £6 a pint here it probably doesn't work out at too great a deal after all.

Lovely curry. One of the best in the area. Staff are really friendly.

Just had a delivery from Zains. Not our 1st. Also not our 1st being a 40mins late. So nothing new. But the food is normally good so can usually forgive the lateness. But this time when our food arrived 40mins late in our bag of food was someone else's bag of open rubbish. Yes I know this sounds crazy but it was. Think it was the delivery drivers. Now this was a open bag of rubbish in our fresh bag of food. Now this is basic food hygiene. When I rang to complain it seemed to take a while to make the staff understand what I was ringing for. Once it had sunk in they decided to send the delivery driver back who basically stood on our doorstep calling us liars saying there was no way that bag of rubbish was in our food bag when it was delivered. So not only does the staff not care about your order once it leaves there restaurant. But the people delivering your food don't care about it either. We would eat in the restaurant and have deliveries from Zains. But with no apology that is it for us.

Although the food is really good the service is appalling. We were there for 4 hours and had poppadoms , starters and mains. We had to keep asking when the food was coming! I know it's all cooked fresh but they had time to go out shopping for the ingredients as well and then some.

Superb Indian restaurant in the Gil Gal, Stourport.

Had a takeaway. Order king prawns jhinga only had 3 prawns it. Not much chicken in the pathia and naan bread wasn't included but was ordered and paid for. Was disappointing

Finally found an authentic indian restaurant in this area! Guy on the phone was very helpful, delivery driver was very good, and the food was excellent, very authentic dishes! I used to live with an Indian flatmate who cooked homemade food and all dishes were on par if not better :)

So to start of waiting at the bar area for a fare amount of time just to be seated yet there must have been four tables in Then once seated the poor service just started from the no manners in the waiter very miserable not very polite another customer then drop glass onto the floor which shatterd and shards shatterd on top of my partners shoes no consideration from the staff members that the accident had just happens never checking is everything okay that fact glass just shatterd right next to us then curries came out and rice but naan bread several minutes which isn’t ideal overall the food was great tastes wise but the poor front of house service making us feel like we just wanted to leave would have been better to get a takeaway service and eat in the car

Zains of Enigma is without a doubt the best Indian restaurant I’ve ever eaten at. All the food is amazing, every person I’ve taken there has raved about it. The service I receive is exceptional; I will never use another Indian in Stourport.

Didn't eat! Practically had to lay the table! Waited 25 mins to order drinks and finally gave up and left .

Really good food can recommend Naglis kebab Indian Scotch egg starter & tandoori mixed grill with special fried rice couldnt manage a dessert and customer service was fantastic especially Touch who was our main waiter our first time here and was so impressed we will be back again prices were real good too especially for food of this standard my compliments to the chef we will be back again this week with friends.

Bang average the same as every other Indian restaurant in Stourport. Quality of food can be very inconsistent, most dishes taste the same as they use the same base sauce for most dishes (lazy).

I love British Indian restaurant food and since moving to Stourport a little over a year ago I've been slowly trying the various Indian restaurants and takeaways in the area (there's quite a few!) I'm not going to name names as I know it's an incredibly difficult time for small businesses at the moment but I've been disappointed by the food offered at many of the places I've tried. Several establishments that I have rated highly in the past seem to have experienced a marked reduction in quality over the last few months. That is not true of Zain's (or is it Enigma?) It's definitely one of the pricier options in the area but as the old saying goes 'you get what you pay for'. I've never been disappointed by a meal from here which is more than I can say about any other Indian restaurant/takeaway in the area. The quality of the food is very high, it's well spiced, portions are spot on and (praise be) they don't use desiccated coconut in their creamy dishes! No horrible gritty texture here. I've never been into the restaurant so I can't comment on the service there but the service I routinely receive as a takeaway customer is helpful, polite and fast.

Great place, food excellent, atmosphere good, down side they collected plates etc while I was still eating, that's bad manners.

My 1st time , Excellent food,very nice clean place highly recommend downside long wait for food to arrive between course's and waiter collecting dishes before we had finished eating. Other than that 5 ⭐

Nice modern clean place, staff all polite, had to wait 2hrs for main dish (and that was after complaining) way to long with children ! Food IMO not anything like traditional Indian food just a load of same old slop (Indian food in the 80's) !!! For this reason I've stopped.voing to any India (?) restaurants, only went coz of birthday. Plus MEGA EXPENSIVE. Wouldn't go back or recommend ......Sorry

For a Thursday night it was buzzing. I always think this is a good indication if its busy during the week. Excellent food, service and good value for money!

We sat down inside very friendly welcome and helpful, the food was served very nice was very tasty and hot and plenty as well one of the best chicken tikka Masala I've had garlic naan was excellent and the special fried rice was excellent too overall great experience will go again and try something else

Came for food the other night with my other half the food was absolutely beautiful cooked to perfection and the prices are really good for what you get and the staff are lovely and friendly , will definitely be coming back here.

Zains of Enigma is by far the best Indian restaurant in Stourport! The food tonight was absolutely delicious…top quality produce, cooked to perfection. The staff were amazing, nothing was too much trouble and they were great to chat to. Special mention to Tuj….he went above and beyond to make sure we had a lovely evening! I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this restaurant for both eat in and takeaways! We will be back!! Thank you Zains and the team xx

First time I have been here, have to say all the staff were brilliant, extremely helpful and very friendly which was lovely,a credit to them. The food was beautiful,all of it from starter to main etc. I've eaten a lot of Indian curry's in Birminghams balti triangle in the last 30 years, this food is up there with them. Will definitely go back there 👍

After having lived in Stourport for a number of years and trying most of the Indian restaurants we decided to give Enigma a try for the first time. We placed the order online and the website said 45 mins to an hour for delivery. Around 50 mins later it arrived with a friendly driver. Everything was as you would expect but more. The food was full of taste and excellent value for money. It may have been our first time at Enigma but it will definitely NOT be our last. Highly recommended, thank you Enigma.

Had a nice meal here whilst visiting Stourport on the boat. Very nice clean restaurant, staff were very pleasant and attentive (thank you F1). Very tasty food and decent sized portions, highly recommended.

Great restaurant! Definitely recommend! Having nut allergies I always struggle to find an Indian restaurant but Enigma catered for me and made any dish I wanted without nuts (they don’t use nuts in their food). Not only this but their food was so tasty!!

Had a takeaway last month which was slightly incorrect and manager asked if this could be corrected on our next order. Have just ordered a takeaway, the guy on the phone was great,with excellent customer service ethos and more than made up for the previous error. Receceived complementary starters and poppodoms, main courses and sides were all delicious exactly as we ordered and delivered within stated timescale. This is my favourite Indian restaurant ever and I cant recommend highly enough....really should give it a try..

Got us out of a bad situation. Had booked a table eat out help out. Got there crowded did not have a clue who we were so called enigma. Booked hot there excellent service proper social distancing and tracking measures. Excellent meal to boot. Don’t use eat out help out completely out of this restraint restored my faith in the trade. I have submitted a review on the other restaurant and enigma poles apart. Well done for making me feel relaxed and safe it’s been a long time coming I needed a taste of normality. Thanks again.

We moved to Stourport just under 2 years ago and in that time we've tried pretty much every Indian restaurant and takeaway in the town, Enigma is by far and away the best of them. We have had numerous takeaways and we've also eaten in the restaurant on many occasions and we have never had a bad meal. The depth of flavour of all of the dishes that we've tried is exceptional and no other restaurant or takeaway in Stourport even comes close to matching this. The value is also exceptional, they offer a 15% discount for collection, two main courses, two portions of rice, two poppadoms and various dips comes to just over £15. The staff are always pleasant. Unfortunately like all restaurants they are currently closed but they are still offering a takeaway service.

Unfortunately there is nothing bad I can say. Top notch staff. Food was perfect. So looks like we will be back.

Have eaten in a couple of times and never disappointed. Tonight, ordered a takeaway via online app which was really easy to use. Food arrived within the allotted time frame and was very tasty. Good value for money and would use again.
