We tried to book in the restaurant with 4 of us including an assistance dog but unfortunately got refused a booking. Just a heads up to anyone in the same position not to even ask the question. I seriously hope anyone there doesn’t ever need this service as it’s not nice to be refused and discriminated against.

I’ve been eating Indian food for over 40 years, I can honestly say this was the worst ever meal I’ve ever eaten. The food was bland with no herbs or spices. The staff were inattentive.

As always, the service here was fantastic and very friendly. Food exceptional but it always is! Would thoroughly recommend eating here - couples, friends or family.

Says open til 12 clock on a Sunday plan to get a take away after a band and got there for 11.20pm amd closed it's a joke

Starter's lacked imagination, presentation poor and boring. Mains much better presentation and substance really quite good. Service and staff performance excellent.

Starter's were okay, but Sheesh Kabab a little uninspiring (no fried onions). Mains on the other hand were really good. Overall a tad on the dear side but given the level of service and atmosphere, well worth a visit.

One of the best places to eat. Try the Murgh Naga ...if you like very very hot curries. The Nage Viper pepper/chili is the hotest at 1,382,118 Scoville 😲

Menu choice was good. Food was very nice but didn't match the description of the spice level. Service was quick for our large group and food came hot. Food was placed on top of candle warmer and the atmosphere was welcoming.

My experience of the Vhujon was good overall. The main course I selected was nice, but the mains the Girls selected was decidedly bland and tasteless, a special with Coriander. Other than having the world's most annoying and noisy youth sat right behind me, we had a nice evening out with the help of the charming staff. Thanks

We live local to this restaurant but will never visit again. We are not in the habit of leaving reviews but felt this review was a must.

We were drawn to Vhujon by the clearly marked vegan options on its menu, with some interesting dishes, not usually found in your average high street indian restaurant. Some of these are more successful than others. The Tofu Bissi was tasty. The Garlic Begun Sabzi was bland; with little spicing and our guess that the sauce was out of a jar. The service was good, with attentive staff. In summary, our meal was pleasant enough but nothing special.

Beautiful food and great service. I always look forward to eating at this restaurant.

I was highly disappointed with the standard of food I found several heirs in my food when I told the staff the the owner came over and verbally abused me and my partner using racial slurs I’ve never been more disrespected in my life

Incredibly disappointed with Vhujon Restaurant. We have been going regularly over the year but last night was a awful experience. The service was shocking are waiter basically threw a cutlery and plates at us between each course. The dips for the popadoms were served wrapped in cling film with serving spoons thrown on the serving tray which the sauces were presented on, quite irregular for a restaurant to expect you to prepare the service your self. The food was bland with small serving for each meal . It took forever to get are main meal and drinks were not offered we had to flag down a waitress each time. No one asked how are meal was and the food was just tasteless. As you walk in the restaurant my glasses steamed up and there was a smell of damp or moisture in the air. We couldn’t wait to get out of the restaurant. Real shame as this place was great at one point

Booked a table for 7pm, arrived and it was very busy. Ordered poppadoms, mains and some rice and naan bread only. It took over 1 hr for mains to arrive. Service was incredibly slow. And the noise in the venue was nearly unbearable. Will try severn next time as rating seems to be better and heard good things about it. Food was very tasty, but £1 per poppadoms and then £1 per person for a chutney tray seems a bit of a rip off

A group of us arrived but were seated promptly. The food was amazing and good portions. The only gripe we had was poor service, been before and service was the same. This time one persons main arrived after 50 minutes, then another ten minutes later. The rest came together which was very bizarre ! Great food and atmosphere, spoiled by poor service.

Easily the best Indian in Bewdley. Always fresh and full of flavour. The Mrs isn’t keen on spicy food but even the non spicy options are delicious.

This used to be a place we visited regularly, but last night we visited for the first time in 12 months. I am wondering quite whats happened here as they were always fantastic. This time, we were firstly delivered someone else's food and as we were trying to work it out (as it was similar to what we had ordered) they came and took it away. The garlic naan was smaller than the side plate on the table and soggy, the chips UNBELIEVEABLY had to be eaten with a spoon, there was not a chip longer than about 5mm, I have never seen anything like it, and the pieces of chicken were so small, it is obvious that despite their very much increased prices, they had also very much reduced the size and quantity of the meat in the dish. As for the rest of the food, it was overpriced and VERY bland. We can't recommend this place any longer, this was very poor.

I really looked forward to the menu on Christmas day and I must say it was fantastic. The starters, main meals and sweets were brought to your table when you were ready for them. They were set meals but the owners were happy to accommodate any changes to suit. The starters had 5 items with onions too. A bit of a sizzler. Then the main course had seven items plus a nan bread. Have to say the lamb shank literally fell apart, it was so tender. After that a plate of four Indian sweets. All in all it was a fantastic meal and I won't hesitate to book for next Christmas day. I can thoroughly recommend this restaurant and it's very high standards.

Went to the restaurant on Christmas day (22) for their set meal and it was fabulous. They brought out the sizzling 5 starters on a bed of onions. Followed by 7 mains plus a nan bread. The lamb shank just fell apart, it was so tender. And if you had any room left, 4 Indian sweets were next. It was a fabulous meal, filled me up and made my Christmas day. I can thoroughly recommend this restaurant with it's very high standards. Always a nice relaxing atmosphere.

Tonight I was assaulted by the manager at this Indian. Ash, as I explained to him that my meal was not great. He was rude and obnoxious down the phone, so I was advised to take the meal back. I put it down on the counter in front of him and he turned into some serial monster. He did it in front of his staff and a customer tried to intervene when he grabbed my arm. He was screaming get out of my restaurant, his colleague looked in shock. This is not the first time that he has been abusive to his customers. This attack was unwarranted and I will ensure that he never does this again to anyone else. He is a bully and thinks he can throw his weight around like he is some god. I have informed the police and they will be contacting him for voluntary arrest He states that I was escorted off the premises which is untrue

Saw manager push another customer who wasn’t happy with her meal - wouldn’t be surprised if she reported him for assault. Disgraceful behaviour. Avoid at all costs. PS. The owner has replied that the customer threw her food at a member of staff. This isn’t true - she placed it on the counter and then the manager started to shout at the customer before man handling her.

Mediocre take away food and saw the manager pushing another customer who was unhappy about her order. Absolutely disgraceful behaviour and I wouldn’t blame the customer for reporting him for assault. Avoid at all costs.

Ordered a takeout last night and the food was fantastic! The chicken tikka masala and chicken korma was so tasty . We had egg fried rice and nann breads as well. The food was 10 out of 10

Always excellent. There is a misconception by some Bewdley folk that the other Indian restaurants in the town do better food than Voujon! Everyone has their personal favourite, but really ? The quality here is consistently good, the service great, and the prices competitive. A must try ..lll

Took my partner out for a surprise Christmas treat and was very disappointed with the food which was average at best. The worst thing was the service as we waited 20 minutes to order, over an hour for our food and half an hour to pay the bill. We won't be returning after this experience and this has ruined our evening.

I usually order from here and eat at home but decided to eat in the restaurant on this occasion. Food is delicious and piping hot, love the little candle underneath the dish to keep it warm!

Beautiful starter, poppadom, curry and naan bread (apart from the salad which was stale and not fresh). Great selection for vegetarians. However Absolutely awful and disappointing service.. especially for the price! Took forever to take order, then got the order wrong, then presented us with food we hadnt ordered, accused us of not paying for drinks (despite paying for drinks separately at the bar. The man did this in such a confronting and rude way to purposefully make us feel embarrassed and draw attention to us arguing with us. Ended up having to show online banking to prove our innocence! At that point I wanted to leave as we were made to feel so uncomfortable) & then he sat on our table and added up our bill at the end demanding that we hadnt paid the full amount .. which we had. We were made to feel like criminals! Staff seemed incredibly stressed and unable to cope with demand of customers on a friday night it was hectic and so busy in there. The only pleasant member of staff was the young lady serving at the bar who was very approachable and smiley. The places room temperature was farrrrr to hot. I would not be returning

Can't comment on the food as it didn't actually turn up. Pre-ordered the delivery 2 hours before it was required due to it being a Saturday, order accepted but nothing heard since then. Thankfully Uber are actually efficient and have given a refund. No one answers the phone to give an update, you're just left with no dinner and a ruined evening. Rather late to order anything else now. Too greedy for money to actually admit they can't cope with demand.

Always good food and take away is also really good to. I’d strongly recommend here for anyone visiting bewdley. You will not be disappointed. Food is always fresh and nicely presented and staff are really friendly too.

Probably the worst Indian meal I have had in a decade…. Chicken Tikka starter looked like it had been marinaded for a minute….. a kebab house would do better. Main, a chicken and prawn bunha balti was tasteless…. The Nan and keema Nan looked straight...

Had a takeaway, curry sauce was very watery and chicken completely overcooked and dry. Threw most of it away.

Online ordered and before I even had time to walk and collect my order was ready! Also the chef had veganised my entire order as required, fabulous! The food was delicious and the staff were friendly and thoroughly enjoyed my feast. Lovely sized portions at a great price!!

Holidaying in the area & tried a takeaway on the recommendation of a local lady. We were not disappointed. 4 of us ate 4 different meals & loved it all. I had the chicken tikka dhansak, lush. My husband said the same about his chicken tikka jalfrezi. Very good food & service.

Great place and a goto for service and food

I have order a curry as it was my birthday and was really looking forward for the dinner, we called before 7 and order so it will be delivered after kids are in bed around 7:40, when I called restaurant around 8, I have been told driver did not leave as they are too busy and I have to wait. They could advised us so we could collect it, when we called before 7 if they are busy. Driver arrived after 9 ruined my birthday completely, when I put salad on the plate was old leftovers. I was very disappointed. This was one on the best curry house in the town, shame it is going in the wrong direction.

We visited the Vhujon after many months absense due to Covid-19. It was a special evening to celebrate our daughter & son-in-laws joint birthday so it had to be good. The food was excellent as we remembered but some of the staff seemed a little...

Went on a very busy Saturday night. Staff very polite. Good food, what you would expect from any good curry house. Very reasonable prices. If you want a good what it says on the tin curry house, this is the place foe you

Visited Vhujon for a retirement do, so there were about 20 of us. Food was superb all round, with excellent courteous service from all. Very impressed, will definitely be back

A little disappointed. Not as good as it has been.

Very disappointing, not a regular customer first time actually, however I won't be ordering again it was terrible. Firstly our order took 1 hour 30mins to arrive to find that 3 items were missing from our £49 order... When we eventually got the food, the food that first arrived was nearly cold. It tasted terrible too, no flavours very bland and nothing in comparison to our local. If I was dining in I would have requested a refund and left.

Oh dear, moved back into the area recently and got a takeout last week. I was a regular Vhujon customer from 2014-2019 but what we received last week was not a patch on previous meals. Every dish we had was tasteless including the vegetable sides, the Beef Sukka had no favour, tasted like like it was thick gravy. The Korma was anaemic with terribly cheap chicken and overall very blend. None of this was as I remember so something was off…very disappointed as the food has always been so consistent in the past. I still gave 3 stars as the staff were pleasant and the delivery was on time.
