Delivery times could be better..... But best Indian food in town.

chicken shashlik was dispointing more onions and peppers then was chicken. pakora warm not hot and mixed starter good but not enough was expecting 2 of each for the price of it all not happy.

We waited over 2 hours for the food to arrive. When the food was ordered it was then delayed, after waiting over the time stated we rang to which they hadn't even cooked the food yet but it would be leaving very soon. We continued to wait and still the food didn't arrive, by this point we had 3 very hungry children as we had waited for 2 hours. We rang back to be told the food was going to be leaving soon to which we stated it wasnt acceptable. They said they would add something in on the house as an apology. After another 25 minutes the food finally arrived, no apology, nothing 'on the house'. The curries were watery and Luke warm, there were only 3 chicken nuggets in the meal and there was hardly no cheese in the cheesy naan. Terrible experience!

We visited this restaurant whilst overnighting in Kidderminster. It was recommended by our hosts and their guests. I enjoyed a prawn biriyani and my husband had a fish curry. A typical Indian establishment catering to British tastes. They even had chips and English dishes on the menu. Pleasant staff and atmosphere.

Pre ordered at 5pm for 7.30 and changed by the restaurant to 7.45, chased it at 8.05 and then finally delivered at 8.25. Food was really good though and hot! Obviously busy but suggest ordering half hour before you actually need it

Food was fantastic yet again however poppadoms were missing although all the sauces came, I told the courier which he said he would tell the owner but I haven’t heard anything yet

We have been eating here for over 20 years - when we first moved to the area, we tried out all the Indian restaurants around until we found this one, and we haven’t eaten in another restaurant since! The same people run the restaurant 21 years later & we always get a friendly welcome. The food is excellent and when visitors come to stay this is our goto restaurant to take them to. Favourite dishes are prawn or chicken puri, murchi murg masala, veg balti. The rice is lovely, the naans light and fluffy. Can’t beat it! Would definitely recommend!

As a fairly regular customer of Cafe Masala, I have to say it is without doubt the best food and service I have ever experienced and trust me, I have visited many throughout this fair isle! Always fresh, always punctual and of course always delicious. Friendly, welcoming staff on the front desk and having eaten in on occasions have found the restaurant staff to be equally attentive and efficient. Well done one and all, see you soon!

Excellent quality food, delicious

I had heard good things about this restaurant, so I popped in with the hope they did Balti. I asked before I ordered if they did Balti. I was assured they did. When my “Balti” arrived, I looked at it with disappointment. I needed food and knew I’d have to eat it, but it was such a let down. The dish was overloaded with large onions and peppers. As a Brummie, I know what a balti should look and taste like and this wasn’t it. After shoving most of the onions over to one side of my dish, I ate what was left. As a curry in its own, it was ok. Nothing special. The restaurant was ok, bit small and not very full. Staff were friendly enough. Maybe some other dishes are ok, I don’t know but I will not visit again.

Great food every time, freindly service, will always return, even travel over 500 miles to get here.

Absolutely terrible on the delivery

DONT ORDER THIS Having eaten in previously, I had ordered for myself and my partner. 3 items- took over 2 hours to come. When calling to find where the food was, they were unable to locate the order. The food was bland- madras tasted more like a Balti. Our balti tasted like a poor attempt at chicken tikka Masala…. Would be unwilling to recommend ordering food from here again

absolutely beautiful as always, rich and colourful, have yet to find anywhere in kiddi that compares. A restaurant that knows how to season and spice the dishes properly 🙏 not the usual bland same textured curry. This food has substance and depth 👌 thank you again

We haven't visited Cafe Masala for a number of years due to moving out of the area. We visited for Father's Day and just as as it used to be the food was faultless and the service was excellent! We won't leave it so long before our next visit. Thank you.

It was obviously a busy evening with international football but food arrived at 9.25 when advised it would be at 8.45 to 9.05 The restraint advised it was delivered at 8.50 which was not correct

We ordered chicken tikka as a starter when it came to our surprise, just four small pieces. We thought taste wise, it would be good. But just like it's texture, waste of money. Then, we were waiting for the main course. That to waste. I don't recommend this restaurant to anyone. Service and ambience were good. Don't go for their curry from our house.

Food is very good. Service was slow. At 6 PM, not a lot of people in.

Very disappointed. Over a year ago we ate in at this restaurant and the food was amazing. We ordered tonight, and the curries had no flavour whatsoever the chicken was rock solid and the naan bread was burnt. Will not be ordering again.

Called up to order a takeaway and specifically asked how long for an order and was advised 40-45 mins. Went to collect and had to wait another 45 mins. I wasn’t the only one lots of other people waiting ages for food. Very poor service of the staff to just lie to you to get business. This is the second time this has happened. Benefit of the doubt and they ruined it again. I won’t ever return. And to top off the long wait was Luke warm food. Very disappointing visit

Not a good new years eve.. ..... Restaurant took far to many online orders leaving guests who had booked waiting far too long for their food. We waited over 60 mins for starter and we were there over 2 hours before mains arrived. Many customers complaining.

First time ordering from here, I can honestly say it's the nicest curry we have had from a takeaway. Lovely and fresh. We will be returning

Dropped in for something to eat after seeing my parents. Four of us, we were made to feel very welcome, great service and the food was excellent. Had four different curries, all were really tasty, very different and the breads and rice spot on. Good price, worth the visit.

Such a shame that there was a packed restaurant last night but very quiet tonight. With friends we had a super evening; excellent food and fantastic service. Must be Kidderminster's best Indian restaurant. We will be back.

Cafe Masala was our favourite Indian when living in kidderminster years ago, and we’ve been dreaming of it ever since moving away! The jamila-rushon-mirchi is one of our all time favourites, and it really didn’t disappoint! The service is always warm and friendly and we always really enjoy our visit. Already looking forward to when we’re next able to come!

Use to order from cafe masala quite often, and haven’t had one for a while. We had ordered 5 minutes after the restaurant had opened and ordered 2 chicken korma currys and was very disappointed. It arrived very watery, with no flavour whatsoever. The rice was all clumped together overall, I’m very disappointed as this was my favourite place for an Indian takeaway.

Sadly the worst Indian I've had in a long time, little flavour to the curry, everything soggy and watery and quite expensive for the pleasure of throwing it in the bin.

ORDERED PLAIN NAAN AND GOT KEEMA , BOILED RICE AND DID NOT RECEIVE AND CHICKEN TIKA MASALA WHICH WAS NOT AS IT HAD MINCE IN IT. DISSAPOINTED TO SAY THE LEAST.

Lovely meal as always. Food is great here. We all had poppadoms, various starters and mains. I stuffed pepper with meat - very tasty. For main I had chicken tikka balti with spinach and potatoes, shared a garlic Nan and rice with my son - again very flavourful. A busy Saturday night but staff still managed to be attentive A place we visit regularly for takeaway as well because the food is always good
