Never going to order for delivery again, popadoms we’re stale, forgotten our chips and didn’t bring them for a long time so food was cold. Overall food was disappointing even though it’s normally our favourite place to go.

Hadn't been in for a while, but still the best curry in Kidderminster. Even though I was just collecting a takeaway and not eating in the restaurant, staff were very welcoming and even offered my two young children lollipops while we waited. These are the touches that keep you coming back even on top of the food quality. Keep it up guys 👍👌

An impromptu visit to our favourite restaurant in Kidderminster, we asked our cousins along. Our meals included vegetable balti and chicken tikka balti ....... both were absolutely delicious. My husband always tries something different and is never disappointed. The staff were friendly and attentive and service was second to none- we wholeheartedly and unreservedly recommend the authentic " curry house"...Thanks from Sheffield.

I avoid ordering takeaway from here because they aren’t on Uber eats and their website doesn’t work. Ringing them up is horrible because the phone reception is so bad it’s painful. If they fixed their phones or website or just got on Uber eats or just eat id order from here. The food is good- sometimes the meat is cold though.

Back after 30+ years on a random visit to Kiddderminster. Different location hut sane great food. Service was very attentive and friendly.

this place used to be so good! but we order from it the other night and they gave us the wrong rice which was under cooked so we had to go back and get another rice and the rice was horrible! didn't taste or look the same as they did it before. there was barely any chicken in the curry aswell which is a shame as they did great portions before! the chips were over done to 🙄 honestly waste of money

Our favourite Indian restaurant in Kidderminster. There is always a friendly welcome and such a great menu, with lots of great signature dishes on the menu as well as your more traditional dishes, not to mention a great selection of seafood dishes. Good selection of beers and spirits available, which with good company all adds up to a great evening had by all.

The food was fairly average, and there was nothing to brag about. The evening was really ruined due to the seats. The bench type seating and the individual chairs were the most uncomfortable I have sat on for years.

I have not been to this place for 30 years, but on impulse decided to try it again. I'm glad we did. Excellent food both starter and mains. Well seasoned and nicely spiced. Service was efficient and friendly, the room well maintained and clean. Almost full at 6 pm. £70 for 3 people and drinks, so high value as well. Will go again.

Taking full money and giving rubbish food, i order firedrice but he give me steam rice🤦‍♂️... It's better if i will made by myself

Impeccable on all levels for a very democratic price. I was offered Papadom as a starter and I did well to accept, I recommend it to everyone. Very welcoming and well-dressed staff who advise on the choice of dishes. Out of 5 days, I went there twice. I recommend.

We have enjoyed regular visits to the restaurant over a period of years. The staff are always genuinely welcoming, the restaurant is clean and smartly furnished and the food has always been so nice we always forget to photograph it for a review. We nearly forgot again!

The food was nice and well presented, flavourful and well made. It wasn't aligned price wise with the advertised menus online and the portions of one small tiny queen scallop each and one prawn each on the starter was absolute bare minimum. An extra couple tiny scallops wouldn't go amiss there. We tried the specials and they were banging hot and tasty as recommended by the head waiter. I'd still absolutely go back. I just think things felt a bit flat because it was Monday Eve on the bank holiday Easter and nobody else was out.

Had a takeaway. The onion bargis were burnt the garlic nan was about the size of a 8inch plate. Poppadoms were in bits.Had chefs special chicken tikka masala it was more like coconut chicken and the texture of the sauce was grainy and not nice. Tasted like you were eating a bowl of sugar with every mouthful.Very disappointed.

The currys here are amazing. But the Naans have all of a sudden gone down hill. They used to do the best keema naan in kidderminster. They used to be full of meat. Now they are terrible. Hardly any filling at all. What happened?

The best place ( in our humble opinion) to eat a curry this side of the M42. Chicken Tikka Balti/ Chicken Bhuna and Garlic Butter Chicken were tonight's choices- they were awesome.

Oh wow just wow Food was out of this world and the staff excellent service nothing was to much and a laugh had with all of them Will be back for for our next date night soon I can not recommend this place highly enough And as for the toilets they are the cleanest toilet I have ever visited lol

I ordered a take out last night as a Treat for My other half to save her cooking. What can I say, fast delivery of cold food, nothing like what we ordered. More of a lucky dip of what was in the Kitchen. Green Chicken Tikka starter, that was tasteless and cold. A Chicken Balti based on a Massala sauce that was sweet, flavourless and gritty in texture. Certainly not a Balti I've ever had before, very randomly thrown together, also Cold. A Chicken Chat that was cold but identifiable has Cold Chicken Chat. Another random cold Chicken Massala themed Indian style dish, constructed of bits and bobs in the Kitchen. A bag of leaves, No poppadoms. The Meal was more of a challenge to spot the ingredients, than a treat. I have had many excellent meals from the Sher-E-Punjab over the years, what a shame it has come to this, Never again!

Sheffield to the Sher-E -Punjab....... the best "culinary " part of a visit to see my family and old school friends in Kidderminster. It is always a trip to ,undoubtedly ,the best curry house in the area . The food is amazing- "delicious" is too simple a word to describe what we had last night . I ordered the Chicken Tikka Balti and my husband had the Chicken Korahi Tikka Khyberi with a garlic nan. Front of house staff are always friendly and welcoming and the service is quick ,whether you are eating in or getting a 'take-away'. Never a bad curry from here. Always 10/10, best in Kiddy by a country mile. We dine in occasionally too and the staff are friendly and attentive.

Fantastic food & service on a busy Xmas eve. We ordered and collected our takeaway for 10 people and everyone enjoyed and commented how good the food was.

Perfect!! it was delicious definitely going again

We visited this restaurant earlier in the year when in the area by recommendation and on a quiet night, we had a good meal. We booked again when visiting friends locally on a busy Saturday night. Same as the first visit really, no matter busy or not, attentive but speedy service, great food at a very reasonable price. Every dish was enjoyable and the wine good quality but reasonably priced. We look forward to visiting again in the New Year when we travel up from Kent again.

Great food everytime at this place. The food is amazing, the staff are helpful & friendly every time! When I first went, I didn't know what to order, they asked what I liked & made into something which was kind of them, I didn't expect that, so that really kind of them. Oh my Birthday, they have always been super kind that I did not expect, one year they gave me a free mocktail I did not expect, this year they gave me a Birthday cake from Tesco, I didn't expect that, but they really treat you on your Birthday if they know it's your Birthday. I've never had a bad meal from this place. I love this place a lot, such a great Indian restaurant honestly. I recommend! If you're looking for a really nice Indian restaurant, I recommend this one!

Keep a record of your order and the total of the bill, twice I have been over charged and the last time it was £18.95, strange how it's always over and not under😂. The owner replied that he doesn't need to over charge and it was a genuine mistake erm twice for me I wonder how many haven't checked their bill?

Called in for a meal with my sister. Food was amazing and staff really attentive and friendly. Sister's meal was a little hot for her but staff did every they could to rectify it.

Staff is Very Rude Never Going There Again

What a nightmare restaurant. As we enter we are told we had 1 hour to eat which was fine.Waiter clearly didn’t want to serve us so proceeded to push us for our order as we looked at the menus. Once ordered he then got a hoover out and started hoovering under the tables whilst we ate… you couldn’t make it up! Very average food so chef clearly didn’t want to be there either. Top Tip if all staff want to be at home please shut the restaurant.

Some elderly friends of mine recently dined here after booking a table. They were made to wait a while for their table which was ok but a little disappointing as they’d pre-booked. When they eventually sat down to have their meal they were made to feel rushed. One of them hadn’t even finished their meal and a waiter came along and just grabbed the plate and took it off. They were also asked if they were going to be long as the table was needed. All in all from the time they got there at 6.30pm which was when the table was booked they were there for 50 minutes in total and felt uncomfortably rushed most of the duration. This was really disappointing as they’d used Sher-E-Punjab for years to dine in and take out and they all said they won’t be returning.

Had a takeaway delivered. Food was excellent, very tasty and enjoyable. Good sized portions. Stayed hot on journey to us. Naan was lovely. Only let down was one of the containers had leaked during transit and some of the cryptic clues written as to contents of some containers caused us some confusion!!

Ordered a takeaway, Balti was slightly too spicy for me but was ok, meat was tender not chewy so that was a bonus. Other people of my order said there’s was ‘bangin’ so we were pleased.

This place used to be really good and I havnt had one from here for about a year, not sure if they have changed chef or what but what we just had was the worst curry I have had, 2 baltis and there was 1 strand of pepper in them 2 bits of onion and the sauce was complete water, the chicken tika was only luke walm and tastes like they brought pre packed from tesco and half heated it, the keema narn and poppadoms all smelt and tasted like prawn crackers, poppadoms where also soft, chips where cheap aldi kind

Good food and service, just slightly too expensive for a rather flat atmosphere and undesirable customers which cannot really be helped by the restaurant, just the area it is situated. Also no parking at all which is a huge problem for me.
