Atmosphere and staff were great, food was awful. Meat wasn’t marinated, seemed like a cheap bottled sauce was added, no flavour, no natural spices. Really disappointed.

5 months ago someone commented about a very rude waiter. He's still there. Other guys were OK but this one guy? I assume he owns the place or has pictures of the owner in a compromising position. Seriously bad attitude. Get another job my man.

The new menu seems to have brought a lot of great tasting new dishes. Recommend

Great food, really first class food and service could not fault it first class .The restaurant looks a little tired.could do with a couple of coats of paint the table we sat on right by the bar had curry stains up the wall which was a little off putting. the owner and the waiters were not dressed very well and scruffy .Message to the owner its really good food and great service you need to capitalise on your business model and tidy yourselves up and the decor.

Picked this restaurant as we were staying in Bewdley at tge time. Excellent service and the food was top notch, We ordered 2 poppadoms & chutneys for appetisers, meat Samosa, Veg Samosa & a mixed Kebab platter for 2 for starters, the Samosas were fine for the missus, but not spicy enough for me however, the dips left over from the appetiser made all the difference. While missus settled I to the mixed platter I had a chicken chatuchak with chicken Keema rice, which was delicious and the chili's were exquisite. Would definitely recommend this place.

We visited this establishment as we were in Bewdley and made a very good choice. Had a great 3 course meal as was on offer for the Sunday night. Very tasty food and there is a good selection to choose from. The staff are very pleasant and polite. The food came out nice and hot for each course. Highly recommended

My wife and I visited this restaurant on a short stopover in Bewdley. They have a special deal on Sundays and Thursdays, and as it was a Thursday we were lucky. For £14.95 we could have poppadom and chutney tray, any starter, any main, rice or naan, tea or coffee. This was a bargain as separately these items would have cost about £10 more. There was a good choice on the menu, and we particularly enjoyed our starters of stuffed pepper and lamb chops. For main course my wife has a biryani, which was huge, probably too much rice for the meat and sauce, but easy to leave some. I had a curry which came on a sizzler (not sure of the name) which was good but drier than I expected, and without the depth of taste I am used to. Probably not the best choice but perfectly acceptable. The naan was excellent. A good value, tasty meal.

Went in last night and the guy serving us was just rude and nasty. He kept looking at us as if wanted to punch us for absolutely no reason. I used to go here a lot but not anymore.

We had a lovely time at Severn Fine Indian Cuisine, lots of staff, service was great and advice was excellent. The food was outstanding. I would thoroughly recommend a visit. Excellent job guys.

Staff seem friendly and welcoming, restaurant was fairly well presented felt clean and tidy, toilets were clean however having just one toilet per male/female caused a little wait. The food was served fairly quick however the taste was very bland, the papadams tasted stale, the main meal lacked flavour whilst my wife asked for chicken tikka and received plain chicken, they did however knock a pound of the total bill (thanks). For a Saturday evening to be able to walk in and get a table maybe I should have been a little more cautious.

We had such a friendly welcome from the staff who really looked after us for the whole evening. The food was the best we have ever tasted and we love Indian food. Choice of drinks was very good. The whole meal was excellent and great value for money. A very pleasant evening.

In the restaurant, it’s quite loud that the food is quiet night and has not been full on Q. You an book book before you going in.

Generous food portions and all meals were very tasty. Service was pretty good and main server quite jokey struggled understanding one or 2 others who seemed a little rushed. Drinks 2.50 for 500ml comes (being Bewdley I suppose that's not bad but with thirsty people adds a lot to the meal costs) we prefer unlicensed Baltis where you take your own.

Ordered chicken jalfrazi chips and keema naan for delivery the naan was so hot and fluffy the chicken curry the meat was so soft it was lovely food I could not fault it I recommend very friendly also

If you have other options I would go to another Indian . The manger is so so rude to his staff, shouts and orders them about like they are nothing. Expects them to complete tasks as he gives them to them, on busy night he hides away in the kitchen so he doesn’t have to deal with anything. There is only 2 bar staff at the most, and the other staff never seem to help.

Mid week visit. Allowed entrance to a table a little later than i would normally. "H" as prefers to be called looked after me. I asked for his recommendations as I enjoy a jalfrazi or a Madras. He suggested a dish called chicken Hyderabad. Very enjoyable, sliced chicken that allowed the flavours of the sauce to get into and on the meat. I also tried a starter of tandoori monkfish. Wow fabulous the monkfish was so tender with a lovely flavour sauce.The chicken dish was from the NEW menu they are GOING to start soon.Friendly helpful quick service.The outside of the place is quite modest and you could easily pass by but DON'T!!Next time I am up I look forward to trying some other new dishes. Visited the Severn Indian last night. Table of 17 people of various ages. Charlie and the team delivered a fabulous service and excellent meals. No request was too much. Would definitely recommend. Thanks.

My partner and I ordered two mixed grills 2 months ago after 3 brilliant experiences in house!We we failed to ask for Final cost and were amazed at the request for 32.00 on receipt of our meal.We thought we'd give them ago again tonight.To be fair their food is good if rather expensive!They refused to take an order from me, they wanted to speak to my partner as we wanted to pay by card.Ladies I'd give this restaurant a wide birth!Not a happy independent Lady.

We were recommended this restaurant and were not disappointed ,an excellent varied menu ,friendly attentive start and excellent well cooked authentic Indian food .We had poppadum starters ,followed by a split curry each ,I had a king prawn jalfrezi and chicken bhuna ,and my friend a king prawn bhuna and a chicken jalfrezi .Great combinations with shared rice and delicious peshwari nan . cracking meals well spiced and tasty .We will be back and owner H was really nice .

From the beginning to the end this was one of the best Indian meals that we have ever had.. Which is praise in itself coming from a Bradford regular. And to round off a perfect night the locals were most friendly also. Highly recommended

We have just moved to the area and were looking for an Indian restaurant that would be as good as our regular restaurant in Bridgnorth. I'm happy to say, we have found it! The service was impeccable and the food was fantastic. We will definitely be returning very soon.

We found this restaurant on trip advisor whilst staying nearby. There were several Indian restaurants around but this one had the best reviews, even so we still had a quick look at the others before deciding to eat here. As it was a sunday night they had a deal on for £12.99, poppadoms, starter, mains and coffee so we decided to have that presuming that we would have restrictions on which dishes we could choose, but this was not the case apart from some seafood dishes, it was one of the most comprehensive menus i have ever seen and I am quite indecisive with choosing Indian food but the waiter was fantastic and made recommendations, one of which and I chose to go with and I am so glad I did the food was amazing and the garlic naan was the best I have ever had anywhere. we were served quickly, but not rushed and all the staff were really friendly and helpful, it was a really dreary wet evening and finding this restaurant brightened the night If I could give this restaurant six stars I would do. I would highly recommend and we plan to go back when we next go back to Bewdley.

Second visit in about, so must be good. Service was attentive, food really good and represented really good value for money. Can't wait for our next meal here, would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Bewdley.

We were staying in Bewdley for a few days and whilst browsing around the town during the daytime we noticed a number of Indian restaurants creating a quite competitive choice of where to dine in the evening. After much consideration we chose the Severn Fine Indian Restaurant as it featured a really good menu, was centrally located, was the busiest looking upon arrival and had good TripAdvisor reviews !

We thoroughly enjoyed our meal here. The poppadoms were lovely and fresh and the starters were delicious. We both chose sizzling dishes for our main courses: they were superb. Fabulous naan and rice, too. Lovely atmosphere in this friendly restaurant. We'll definitely visit again next time we're in Bewdley! 5 bubbles all round!

I didn't get the name of the waiter who served us but he was rather chatty with a good personality, probably one of the younger waiters and certainly the liveliest! After poppadoms and a very good nargis kebab he recommended a Hyderabad dish and what a good shout it was. However, although good at the time it didn't really agree with me the next day so will try another main next time.

Service was excellent and the food even better. We've visited here 3 or 4 times, but this was the best eating experience by far.

Family visit. Greeted by friendly staff. Food was excellent and good value for money. We will certainly visit again when back in the area.

Visited here for the first time with my husband and friend after a day on the Severn valley railway, I was recommended a meal I haven't had before which was a chicken makhoney sag ( I think it's called) and it was superb, my husband and friends meals were also spot on, the friendliness of the staff was great and the service first class, highly recommend this place couldn't fault it.

I am really sorry to have to write this review. In all my years, I am 72, I have NEVER had a bad experience in an Indian Restaurant. Until last night that is, when the service, the food, the whole experience, was bitterly disappointing. I have used Trip Advisor for a long time and know how important these reviews help people. So decided I would do this review. I don't like being negative but I have to say, I was so surprised.

After a long day of travelling and a late check-in at The Wetherspoons we was looking for something more than pub-grub. A quick search found this (as it turns out a gem) restaurant. It was late on a Wednesday evening and fortunately they was still open. When we went in the welcome was courteous and genuinely frendly.

Never eaten here before, however we are glad to have taken a chance. The staff are really friendly and welcoming. It is easy to see why there were so many regulars there on first name basis with staff. We didn’t have to wait long for our food and when It did come it was delicious.

We had a family meal here, and from the moment we entered we’re treated like royalty. The food was amazing, and cooked to perfection. The service was great and the waiters very attentive, definitely my favourite Indian restaurant.

Dont be put off by the entrance way inside is a gem. A little puzzled by the number of people ordering chips with their curries, but if you stay with the more traditional food its is excellent.

The food here is amazing, clearly cooked with skill and you can taste the different level and type of spices in each dish.

We came here for our 30th Wedding Anniversary on a quiet Monday evening. We had a delicious three course meal which was reasonably priced and the service was good. As we were leaving I mentioned it was our anniversary and were given a celebratory bottle of wine to take home! This is our favourite Indian restaurant in Bewdley because of the friendly service and great food.

Nice curry restaurant! We have lived and eaten in Bewdley for years and years, and I have only infrequently been in the Severn Tandoori. BUT we went tonight after a friends recommendation. And we were really impressed! Good food, reasonable prices and the service was excellent, prompt and full of humour. We had a great time and will definitely be back.

Spent the night in Bewdley tried the other Indian restaurant last time we came and this was far the best.. Very good service lovely food, nothing too much trouble. would not go anywhere else for a curry when we come to Bewdley again. First class. First time I have taken other half here and she was also well impressed. Staff friendly and attentive, tables well placed and great food. If you go Thursday night they have a meal deal which is an added bonus. Well worth a visit if you like your Indian food

Eight of us had a table booked for 9.00 on Saturday. First time we have been to this restaurant and what a great time we had. Everyone had a great meal and the staff we really friendly. We all had a starter, main course, and sides plus drinks and the cost per head was only just over £20.

6 of us turned up on a Saturday night at about 8ish and they moved some tables to fit us in... glad they did as the staff were very friendly & quite funny & the food was fantastic. Really tasty ample portions and I don’t think there was a lot left between all 6 of his . Enjoyed our visit very much & an added bonus of complimentary Baileys for the girls and brandies for the boys made it perfect. Thank you to all staff if we were local we would definitely be eating there more often.

We visited Severn Fine Cuisine for the first time this evening. The food and service was excellent and we will definitely be making it our local!

Had Sunday night special £12.95 for poppadoms, starter, main, orange slices then complimentary Irish cream or brandy and after eight. I had chicken tikka starter, garlic chilli chicken main course (low fat version as requested) which was great. Staff are really friendly, well worth a visit.

We have eaten at this restaurant about three times the first two times meals we're reasonably good on all accounts but this last time it was awful. The lamb was tuff as old boots, Coke was flat and warm , to be honest the meal I had was tasteless.

First visit with friends who live locally and think it to be the best Indian in the town. Well who am I to diaagree. A fantastic selection of dishes. Food was just amazing. Staff were friendly and provided excellent service.
