We went on a Saturday evening Booked online and got a promotion reply confirming reservation Lovely warm clean restaurant. Very smartly dressed waiters who were eager to welcome us and show us to our table Extensive menu with all traditional dishes Food hot and served on warm plates Fresh ingredients and herbs Fantastic naan bread Best Indian in the area Highly recommend

Unfortunately I've been let down by many of the Indian restaurants and takeaways in Stourport despite having had great experiences with them in the past. Severn Tandoori is the only place I'll go for Indian food in the town now, the food and service are consistently excellent.

Absolutely amazing food. Service - it was amazing except the bearded skinny guy! Rude and homophobic and slammed the door behind me as we walked out. Such a shame as everything else was brilliant. Get rid of the 'hard man' and this place will go far but unfortunately I won't be returning and spending my money elsewhere

Great meal with friends was amazed how relative inexpensive meal was for four £102 lb including drinks. Meal we had in photo + 3 beers & 2 wine. Service 1st class.

Out standing in every way, service was of the highest standard with the waitstaff having extensive knowledge and made some superb recommendations. The food was up there with some of the best Indian food we have ever enjoyed. The prices were a very pleasant surprise as were very reasonable, especially considering the quality of food decor and service. Highly recommend this restaurant and we eat a lot of Indian cuisine restaurants.

One of the nicest curry I have ever had. I had the lamb and my wife had the chicken. The meats were amazingly tender and the curries extremely tasty. Service was smart, efficient and friendly. Highly recommend.

Really poor food. Over cooked chicken, balti primarily onions and no sauce Tasteless starters, dirty glasses. If every Tandori Restaurant was like this I would never goto one again - thankfully they aren't!! Wouldn't recommend.

Really poor food. Where do I start, the starter was tasteless. The balti mains were basically just onion with previously cooked dry chicken and no sauce with doughy nanns. Oh and the glasses were dirty, my pint glass had the remains of the previously person dinner round the rim. Won't be returning and certainly wouldn't recommend.

Absolutely our favourite restaurant. We wouldn't go anywhere else. Wish my weight situation ( not good) allowed me to go more often. Staff, absolutely first class. Food exceptional.

Probably the best Indian for a sit-down meal in Stourport.... Only because everywhere else is mediocre at best. Avoid take away (reason for only 3 stars) Take away from here for what ever reason are poor....

Terrible food! We ordered a take out, Friday evening. Arrived late. When we served it, we had cold rice, soggy sweaty naan breads, warmed up onion bahji that seemed like it was triple cooked! We had a bad meal here a year ago, but as it has been a while decided to give it another go. Rotten paneer cheese in my curry a year ago......still as horrendous now! Seems like it's living on an old reputation. When we called to complain we got a couldn't care less attitude on the phone, don't bother! For £50! Waste of money! Microwaved plastic curry containers! Avoid the place!

We had a takeaway have been looking forward to an Indian balti for months when it arrived it was tasteless and glupey most disappointed 😞 spoiled our night, never again and will never recommend

Food arrived quickly although quality was mixed. Lamb Tikka Biryani was bland and flavourless although we found Chicken Korma to be reasonable. Lamb chop starter wasn’t great although rice dishes were perfectly acceptable. Takeaways are always hit and miss. I’m sure dining in experience would be of a much higher standard which tends to be the norm.

Ordered food just now. Just me, my mom and the dog we're looking after in the house. Delivery driver TRIED THE DOOR HANDLE, yanking and jiggling on it. Only pressed the door bell when the dog started barking. Disgusting.

I have to say as a Vegetarian this place absolutely nails it! The food is delicious and lots of variety. Plenty for meat eaters as well and it’s constantly good. Service is always with a smile and friendly banter. It’s my local go to Indian restaurant.

We are new to the town and this was our first visit. Excellent food and service from the team at this restaurant. Draft beers with well presented food. Clearly very busy and pre booking is essential. Overall great meal, the competition with similar restaurants in the town standards are keeping standards very high

Superb meal on Sunday night. Lamb dish, succulent, fresh lamb, delicious Combination of flavours and textures. Very happy. The six of us had a very enjoyable meal. Well done gentleman.

I ordered the Tandoori mix, Panch Labra, Chicken Balti and i am very impressed. The flavours are amazing. Will be ordering from here again :)

30 of us turned up Severn Tandoori on Sunday evening and got to say it was of the best Indisn meals I have tasted. My chicken balti had a lovely flavour without being over spicy. As we were in such a large group I was expecting the food to come like warm but it was served piping hot. All the staff were so pleasant and treated us so good. Will definitely be returning and will keep recommending to others

Only live 3 minutes away but the food was stone cold, one of the curries was wrong,my stuffed naan wasn't stuffed and just had a few onions on the top, my partners shami kebab looked like a mcdonalds breakfast without the muffin, the poppadoms were smashed to pieces, my samosa cost 4.95 and was like an Iceland special, and my bombaywala was like mint sauce with chicken and potatoes. It was horrible!! And thats me being kind! £35 (with collection discount) and most of it is in the bin,never again. Not sure who Cooked our food but certainly wasn't anything like the pictures 🤔

OH MY GOD HOW ARE PEOPLE LEAVING 5 STARS SEEN THE REVIEWS AND THOUGHT ID GIVE THEM A GO…. Ordered for collection, I live over the bridge and drove there, Got home, Opened up the bag …GUTTED…. Just had a meal from seven tandoori for the 1st time. We usually order from Zane's which was enigma. But just fancied something from a different place. Really wish we hadn't. It might of just been that they were having a bad day. But like I said it was our 1st time. Its not that it was really bad more that nothing had any taste. Just really bland. And not very warm. And the lamb tikka was very dry. Like it wasn't cooked fresh. Just heated up. And the chips were just like really bad cheap frozen French fries. Shame as we were really looking forward to it as everything looked so nice on the menu. Just shows you can't trust the pictures.

The food is very hygienic and all staffs looks very decent,and Ranu is such a kind hearted person. Last monday I went to Severn Tandoori and the nan was outstanding specially keema nan, really tandoori chef deserves my respect.

Christmas lunch at the Severn Tandoori was fantastic. The food was amazing, the service was excellent and the presents for everyone was a really lovely touch. Wouldn't hesitate to do it again.

Ordered food online. Chose a time for delivery. It came over an hour late and was cold. It was delivered by a man in a saloon car with 3 children. The food had leaked in the bag and was on the floor of the back seat of the car. Very disappointed and threw most of the food away.

By far one of the best Indian Cuisine experiences I've had. The food is also Halal which is a bonus. The Chicken Tandoori starter was exquisite and really well cooked. The Chicken Tikka Madras was flavoursome and went really well with plain Naan. The ambience and atmosphere was also pleasant with really friendly and attentive waiters. Highly recommended if you are in the area.

Tonight we had takeaway. The food was amazing the best bhoona ever had. Really hot the chicken tikka was superb the sauce was so good and great nans it was a very good meal so tasty.

I ordered a take out meal online for my family 90 minutes in advance and was given a specific time to pick up the food. When I arrived I was kept waiting for 20 minutes after my allotted time even though I had paid in advance. Walk in sit down diners were served in good time as was a friend who had rung up only 30 mins prior and arrived after us. Moral of the story is: Don't bother to order online!

Today I ordered a lamb balti madras and chicken madras plus rice, nans etc. The food I received was exceptional. Give this restaurant a try and you will not be disappointed. Thank you.

Loved it great food and service

We visited Stourport for a weekend break with friends. We decided to visit the severn tandoori as we all love a curry. We were not disappointed. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Food was the best I've had in quite a while. I had a chicken balti with extra mushrooms. A shami starter and poppadoms. Was delicious, highly recommend. Very good value for money too.

Nothing wrong with the food it's the delivery. Third time now the delivery time is over an hour from the actual time supplied by Severn. In addition when you ring up you are always told "the driver has just left". Come Severn I know you are busy but don't treat your customers this way.

Very clean , fantastic service and fantastic food

I have used the Seven Tandoori restaurant in Stourport for over 20 years and it is a fantastic Indian restaurant. All of the dishes on the menu seem to be especially prepared for you as an individual when served. Main courses are usually served on a heated plate to keep them hot during the meal. The Balti dishes are very tasty and not too spicy. There is a good selection of naan breads to accompany the meal and the choice of rice types is good too. They presently have both bottled Mongoose and draught Cobra beers available at sensible prices. Wines and Champagne is also available. The table service is excellent with hot towels provided at the end of your main course. Highly recommended if you like good service and great food.
