Stourport Tandoori in Wyre Forest

I had done a job for the owner of the restaurant and as a thank you he offered me free curry for delivery. We had two curry’s where the chicken tikka just fell apart and was full of flavour. The sauce was unreal. The rice was absolutely perfect and the naans were probably the best I’ve had. Every thing warmed up to perfection which don’t normally with a takeaway. Unfortunately I’m from Sutton Coldfield so it’s a bit too far for delivery over here. I think they should consider opening one over here 😜 If ever I’m passing I’ll 100% pop in. We have a curry every week here and if he was local I’d have to use him on alternative weeks if not every week as it was that good.

Me and my friend came in tonight to order a takeaway. Friendly service, fresh hot food and very well priced! Even gave us an extra starter on the house. Thoroughly enjoyed the food and would recommend this place to anyone!! Definitely ordering from here again

Firstly, the food was piping hot and delivered within the time given, which is always great. Food overall was disappointing. The garlic chicken had hardly any meat in, it was sliced thin, rubbery and not a very pleasant texture. The chicken in the kerella was much better by comparison, thick pieces and cooked well but the sauce was quite bland. Yet again samosas made using the same pastry as spring rolls, the hunt for a proper samosa continues.

Been to the restaurant multiple times, 2nd time ordering online and absolutely love this place! Go above and beyond for their customers, food is second to none, best curries in the West Midlands! Don’t order from anywhere else! Thanks guys!

Lovely, hot fresh food. Came earlier than planned. However only fault I have is the dhansak was way more spicy than I usually have. Maybe should have an option for how spicy you want it.

The flavors were incredible, with each dish bursting with authentic spices and rich, complex tastes. The butter chicken was perfectly creamy and savory, while the Dansak and Naga was exceptionally spiced. Even the naan bread was warm, soft, and fresh. The portion sizes were generous, and everything arrived hot and well-packaged. Overall, this was one of the best takeaway meals I've had in a long time. The tarka daal was really lovely, however, the aloo gobi tasted the same as the mixed vegetable dish which seemed to have frozen veg in it. The spinach also didn't taste like a fresh vegetable, either tinned or frozen. It was an ok meal but I wouldn't go back or recommend as a good Indian meal.

The food was amazing. The chicken was so soft and fell apart. The rice was cooked to perfection, the naan wasn’t burnt and was really tasty. It’s the best Indian I’ve had in the Kidderminster/Stourport area. Delivery was early also, the lady who delivered was really nice also.

Couldn’t believe it when the door was being knocked by the delivery driver. Super quick service (16 May 2024) from a lovely friendly driver. The food was amazing!! They did the lal red sauce that I love and it was delicious with the poppadoms and other dips and salad. We left the mains and sides in the bag until ready to eat and it was all still hot. Mains, sides and naan breads all tasted great. And thank you for the little extras in the bag. Faultless!

Food was absolutely perfect!! We ordered takeaway and when I went to collect, the service was impeccable… added some beautiful onion barjees to our order with a lovely sticker on the tub that said “This one is on us”.. Such a nice touch!!

The coffee machine was not working so the staff stood in front of it and pretended to make "fresh ground coffee" it would have been better to have been instant coffee as the stuff we were given was an abomination and an insult to coffee. The baguette was ok. JUST GET THE MACHINE FIXED!

I love this takeaway, but would you please just pick some prices and stick to them. I get things have gone up for everyone but your prices seem to constantly fluctuate and my regular order has gone from £16.60 to over £21. This is a meal for one including a start but just cannot fathom the almost £5 increase within a month. Well above inflation etc. Also, constantly changing delivery fees and minimum delivery amount. Very frustrating. I think it's time I stopped using you, as a meal for one has become unaffordable. Sad times. I've also just released that the previous order included an extra poppidom, so it's gone up by considerable more than a 5er (over 30%) within a month.

Normally the food is fantastic and cant fault it. But tonight our order was all wrong. The plain naan came with garlic on it (i had to throw it away) and the cheese and garlic keema naan came as only a plain keema naan. As i said, we cant fault it usually but tonight we are dissapointed. The quality was good as always, its just not what we ordered.

absolutely disgusting service, failing to deliver my food and then blaming me for not being able to find my address. when I contact to ask where it is they blame me for there mistake and offer to deliver the now cold food to me. doesn't even deserve 1 star but I can't give lower! Will never use or recommend this restaurant to anyone for such horrific customer service.

Firwst time ordering from Stourport Tandoori and we very much enjoyed our food! We were even given free popadoms! Would order again! Food was very tasty and really yummy

I can't praise the Stourport Tandoori enough. The quality and consistency of their cuisine is first rate. They really are nice people who can't do enough. My favourite is their south indian garlic chilli chicken. It's not for the faint hearted so if you're a mild curry lover this is for you. It's robust and piquant with a good measure of garlic and fresh green chillies. Hopefully this is enough for you to get ordering, you won't regret it.

Second time ordering after being impressed by our first order. Beef madras was thick of oil, after skimming it off the sauce was very thin, bland and salty. Lacked any depth of flavour and very disappointed. Ended up tipping back into the carton. Not after any compensation I just want to give a reflection on a sub par performance

Always has been the worst Indian take away in Stourport.... The only reason it's getting good reviews is the people making the reviews are stupid..... Just look at the pictures if you don't believe me? All of them are taken in Severn Tandoori NOT Stourport Tandoori....For a start this place is a takeaway only. Food quality isn't even mediocre like the rest of Stourport.... If you want a decent Indian go to cutnal green or bewdley

THE best Indian takeaway in Stourport! The food is delicious and always piping hot. Complimentary food and a piece of chocolate fudge cake for my sons birthday. Lovely staff, always with a warm welcome. Would highly recommend this takeaway.
