Excellent meal on Saturday. We hadn’t visited before and booked based on tripadvisor reviews. Although the restaurant could do with some TLC the meals were lovely. Nice meat in the dishes and good service. I would return and order takeaway too

Very rarely I give a review but I feel I need to. Food is exceptionally good, fairly priced and arrived at the door hot and fresh with extra sides and poppadoms. I was very impressed overall and will be using this company much more in the future! Thank you Divine, I'm very impressed.

Every time I visit I have always been very welcomed, someone will open the door if they see me going in. It is always warm and the staff are always smiling and happy. Best of all the food has always been delicious, I love it and a very reasonable price too. I go back on a very regular basis, its always my first choice when I eat out.

Disappointed.... First time I had food from here we bought two dishes that was completely different yet tasted the same, bland and saturated in oil.... Decided to give the place a second chance....Same as before, tasted like the two previous dishes and was bland and saturated in oil, asked for this one madras hot but was so mild it could have been stew....Not even mediocre food...

Tried for the first time tonight, and I can honestly say that was the best Indian takeaway I have ever had, the food was absolutely delicious, will definitely be returning.

Visited this restaurant with my family and all I can say is.. The best Indian food I’ve ever had, service was top notch and hygiene was immaculate. Highly highly recommended this restaurant and I would 100% go back again for the amazing experience over all! The staff were extremely friendly and attentive, which made my dining experience even better. The restaurant was decorated with a modern yet cozy feel. Divine is our favourite for takeout and delivery. It's not too expensive the portions and quality are consistent, so when you order a meal it dosent change like some restaurants in our area. But perhaps my favourite things is, your order is always correct. Unlike most Indian restaurants in my area, I have had items missing or not what you ordered at all, like getting a Rogan Josh instead of a Jalfrezi or the Balti is some kind of generic sauce with the odd ingredients changed, but it seems to taste the same whatever you order. Divine do not do this, so I have no hesitation in giving this review a good rating.

Lovely shared meat starter with Lamb Shaslick Curry, Lamb Karai, Stuffed Paratha, Mushroom Pilau and chips washed down with BYOB Pinot Noir. All this for less than £30 a couple! Devine are making a meal deal extended for the whole week. We will be back!

We visit here often. Always a nice greeting. Great food, my husband asked for his meal to be adapted last night and this was done without any complication Special offer on now at weekends. Popadoms with the dips, starter ,main course, rice or nan £14.95

We ate twice at Divine while in the area. There was a selection of vegetarian choices including a delicious paneer tikka. It was so good we ordered it both times and there was plenty of paneer. Everything was tasty and seemed freshly cooked. The garlic naan could’ve been a bit more garlicky but was still nice. The restaurant isn’t licensed so we ordered bottled water the first time and brought some wine with us the second. The staff were pleasant and the food arrived very promptly although we were eating quite early so the restaurant wasn’t busy. It was incredibly good value for money too. We also very much appreciate it when a business is happy to take cash as so many no longer seem to want our money. We would certainly return if we’re ever in the vicinity again.

Our first time visiting this restaurant and I would definitely return. Very friendly staff and most importantly really nice food. We took advantage of a deal, so had papadom, starter, main, rice/nan bread and a coffee. Fabulous value for money and beautifully cooked and presented. If I could change anything it would be for the lighting to be a little more ambient and subtle. It's quite stark at the present time. I also like authentic Indian music on in the background but that's a personal choice. I will definitely try more dishes on the menu. Divine appears to do a roaring trade in takeaway. The restaurant is non licensed so you can take your own alcoholic drinks. Definitely worth trying.

Food and service were excellent, probably the best value for money Indian restaurant in the town. BYOB is always a good thing.

I’ve previously had in the past and am having an absaloutely jolly time! Great people, class atmosphere, food to die for, and a great restraunt in general. I have to personally recommend the Chicken Tikka as it was and always is the #1 thing to get! Great prices too- only £2.20 for Naan bread and £3.70 for chicken tikka! Just wow!

Worst curry I've ever had, the chicken was dry, the rice was bland and the sauce, well what sauce there was, was tasteless. The service was disgusting and rude, when complained it was disregarded and got attitude. Wouldn't recommend to my worst enemy.

Lovely takeaway meal! had sheek kebab, chicken tikka balti, cheese and chilli naan and a keema naan! Honestly couldn't fault any of it! Asked for the naan abit more cheesy and was spot on!

We went to Divine this evening and cannot recommend it enough. The food was lovely and excellent value for money. You can take your own drinks which makes it even better value. You really must go.

Amazing food! We went on a Monday and had the 3 course (poppadoms, starter and main with side) for £13.50 which is great value. The restaurant was very quiet but so clean and looks like it has been redecorated recently! The only advice I'd give is for a bit of music and for the waiter to have a bit more confidence. He was lovely, but let your personality shine! Please visit this gem, such great food.

It is a small restaurant and appears to have a good takeaway trade. It was a bit warm outside on our night which is never a good thing but they do have air-conditioning! We had a great meal here and the service was excellent but perhaps a fraction slow. To be fair it was a Saturday night. The bill was extremely reasonable even by BYOB standards. Unfortunately there was a loud table in there on our night which the staff will need to learn how to deal with fortunately you shouldn't come across them. Update, we visited again on Friday night and what a difference a day makes. Excellent! Well worth checking out.

Nothing was to much trouble, they were on hand, to explain dishes, and help with choices, the food was brilliant, very tasty and great value. They don't sell alcohol, so take your own drinks in,always a good money saver. Coffees at the end were also very good.

I ordered a lamb karai this evening. Specifically asked for it to be cooked authentic and spicy. What i received looked sad. Tastes of nothing, it never saw 1 chilli and the lamb was more like mutton. Its definitely gone downhill. I won't be ordering again.

First time using this restaurant. Order on their site for best deal. Takeaway arrived a bit early but no problem. Food was well presented and hot. Had two curry dishes, naans and rice. Came with free poppadums two dips and small container of onions. Food was delicious. Couldnt fault it. Will be using again.

I decided to give Divine a go after several recommendations from a friend. I'm SO glad I did. The food is really good and the staff, including the Chef, are really good friendly people. The Naga Chicken Korai is my new go to dish, really is Divine!!! Looking forward to one of their Sunday 5 course deals soon. Pictures will follow. Tried it for the first time last night after a chance meeting with one of the staff buying chocolates at a supermarket a few days ago. As someone who almost always tries to order a dish that I've never had previously I was very happy with the food on flavour, quantity and there was a good selection of speciality dishes as well as the traditional favourites. My fiance was equally happy and we will both definitely return again to sample more of the menu. The restaurant looked clean and tables were nicely spaced with friendly staff although we only had a takeaway as neither of us feel comfortable eating out just yet (we may try a mid week special in the near future though). Overall, very good and highly recommended if in the area.

Not the best .chicken were strips and tough my meal was nice but chicken spoilt it my wife had chicken tikka masala her meat was tough and tasteless dips were strange even the mango chutney tasted woody

Amazing food. Super friendly staff (particularly the young gentlemen who gave me good recommendations). I love this restaurant because the food tastes so authentic. Where as most Indian restaurants add loads of sugar to their food, Divine rely on herbs and spices. Would definitely recommend trying this place. Vegetarian options are also great and come in large portions!
