I've been here many times over the last few years. Food and service are top-notch. Can't fault the place at all, easily better than other curry houses in the area!!! Unless your from County Coundon and scarred of a bit of chilli!

I used to love their curries, but since lockdown, I think they've changed their kitchen team. It's alright now. Used to be award winning, and I didn't know how lucky I was till I moved away. And then thankfully came back. But now it's, just alright. It is decent enough. Just not my first pick anymore, and it was for years!!

Chefs special bhuna was good flavour but chicken was squidgy chewy and not very nice I couldn't eat it. The rice was okay and naan was okay. Mixed grill was over seasoned and very strong flavours of spices almost overwhelming. First time ordering here and sadly won't be trying it again as I was disappointed in the quality of the food.

Been going there for a few yrs now and it still is the best curry house in Coventry I think ,the service was great ,polite and quickly served ,and good value for money .

Amazing Indian food! The veggie starter platter was lovely, the bajis weren't greasy and the samosa was the best I've had. All of the food was delicious and the service was friendly and quick - highly recommend if you want a cheeky weekday date night or weekend treat.

We order a curry from here at least monthly and have done for years. Despite moving a little further away they still treat us like longstanding customers and always go above and beyond whenever we get a takeaway by adding a couple of extra poppadoms in or when we collect by asking me how my family are which is a nice touch. The food is always the best quality and boiling hot and thoroughly cooked on arrival. Amazing cuisine and amazing staff 😊

The Coundon District nurses favorite and their loyal. Been coming here since 2008. Fresh Naan every time. Did visit on a Saturday evening, packed. Food and naan are always fresh with taste. Very english.

Did phone order to collect, all food wrong had to take back , changed my order and food was tasteless, cheap waterdown curry dont waste your money will never use again , I phoned up and was told could not do anything place a joke

My partner has used this restaurant for 20 + years and has always spoken highly of this establishment. As we no longer live near we made the special trip to enjoy his favourite curry house, only to be left hugely disappointed. We both thought the food was bland, but the service was ok. However, we were sat at the back of the restaurant near the kitchen and we witnessed a waiter on multiple occasions reuse the same popadom condiments - the waiter reused the same spoons, bowls and even condiments just topping them up with fresh before re-serving them. Before topping them up the waiter would scoop out previous contaminates from each compartment and wipe the bowl from any drips. All of this was carried out on the restaurant floor in front of the tables not behind closed door. We questioned the waiter and he became sheepish. We did bring this to the manger’s attention who didn’t seem interested, we won’t be returning.

Just been to eat with my family for my birthday. Service was amazing! The food was stunning! Lovely fresh and hot. Was the best rogan I have had in a long time!! The flavours were perfect 👌 Well done Gents for a brilliant night out

Very disappointed with our meal, I only had 3 pieces of chicken in my curry which had a strange texture e.g processed and rubbery. The rest of the order was greasy and not of good quality. Such a shame as we previously used this restaurant a lot over the years and have never had any problems.

Ok what's happened to the place years since I last went ..Have you booked he asked. The place was empty.1600 hours .tried to seat me right next to door .no thanks I said .Pushed a menu in front of us can i have a little time I said .The seats and tables are so close together it would be hard to have a quiet conversation too many table squeezed together looks like a canteen ..On to the currys was average the lamb felt like dried beef..Ate it because I was hungry Ask for bill not value for money..The Restaurant still had 60 approx empty..when we left ..Wonder why ..

Bar attached Indian cuisine, chappati was really soft n home made , not ready-made one, they turn off chappati tawa at 9pm though, so be early. Egg fried Rice was good as well , but Quantity is less, like half plate . Taste was really good. Chicken dupiaza was good as well

Unpleasant vegetarian food. Ordered 3 different dishes, they all had the same bland sauce, just different veg in them. Also part of our order was missing. Won't use again.

I have to mention that after waiting 2 hours for our main course to arrive whilst dining at your restaurant with a pre- booked table (7pm) in your restaurant (service at 9pm), and whilst enduring an endless klaxon of noise from multiple telephones ringing which resembled some cheap ‘fun’ arcade in Blackpool. I have frequented your establishment for 15 years, normally with satisfaction. However I feel we have been let down enormously by you., When complaining, the manager/owner was particularly rude towards me, bordering on racism towards my wife and I, (yes it works both ways!) I now understand your obsession with money over substance, quality and customer satisfaction, therefore I will never enter your establishment again, even though you have laughingly banned me for ‘complaining’. I would never, ever, let a customer of mine of 15 years be treated in such a way. To leave us waiting for two hours for service is in catering terms unforgiveable and I’m sorry your ‘team’ were more preoccupied with your precious takeaway service. Therefore I will never frequent your restaurant again, which, in my opinion, so sorry to say, has gone rapidly downhill in recently times.

Please do not use this restaurant for user eat 2 hrs wait food was cold and of poor quality

Attentive staff, good variety of dishes which our party of 8 enjoyed! Well presented and tasty! The odd close by parking space but we walked so can't advise. No bitter available but fab pint of Cobra and as soon as my waste line permits we'll be back! Thanks

Visited mid week early evening. They have a good menu including "English food" for the less adventurous. Service was good, attentive and friendly. They have a good drinks menu with wine, beer, spirits and soft drinks. The food served was excellent. It was very tasty, spiced enough but not so hot as to disguise the real flavours. Well cooked, served nicely. Good sized portions, and they do allow you to take away anything you couldn't manage to eat. They were doing a busy take away trade as well. So yes, definitely going to visit again.

Staff here are lovely, so friendly and accommodating. We were well looked after. Food was great as always. It was a shame there were so few people in the restaurant. This meant it was so quiet and lacking in atmosphere.

The food was cold, special byriani had very little sauce and the meat content was just missing, we took our food back and then got abused by the chap behind the counter, which was nice he suggested he wont serve me again, trust me fella i wont be back, shocking food shocking customer relations.

This place appeared on Uber Eats and presented an interesting menu so we gave it a whirl for a delivered meal. The result was excellent so much so that we now order every couple of weeks as a 'lockdown treat'. I travel widely and eat many interesting dishes and I can truly (and enthusiastically) say that whoever is in the kitchen here knows what they are doing and does it with flair. There are lots of fresh ingredients and a breadth of menu cooked to order that will meet every desire! Prices are reasonable for a suburban location and low by city standards, portions are generous and the containers used for delivery / take away are robust and resealable. All our orders have arrived packed together with the little extras fresh and at temperature . . . all you will need will be warm plates and cutlery!

Poor, very poor. Stale poppadums, rancid chutney. Main meal was very average. Mentioned this to head waiter: " Yes sir, please come again". No chance.

Have to say from start to finish I am completely satisfied 🙂 I cannot fault the restaurant at all to be honest . Great staff and service. I had a brief chat with the owner and what a kind hard working man. I will recommend this restaurant to anyone. Enjoy guys 🙂

First time trying this place out, was recommended and is very well established as a curry house. It sure did live up to its expectation the food was just full of flavour and freshness. you can just tell the food was freshly made and the spices in them were very authentic.Loved it will definitely keep returning. great place no wonder its so well established and been around ! best in Coventry in terms of food quality !!!

Never been here before but heard lots about it. Ordered usual meals and mine was OK, but my partner's was tasteless and was barely touched. Service, apologies etc were excellent and they did deduct the cost of the dish from the bill, but shouldn't have happened. Not sure if this is normal or just an off chef/ night?

Awful......Food was cold on arrival, naan was burnt and inedible overall was just awful..... up most of night being sick, wish instead of heating everything in microwave I had just thrown it all in the bin !!!Never again will I order from here. !!!!!!!

We have driven past this place so many times in the 20 odd years it is been open and have never been...... We have been missing out! We booked a table for 7:30 on a Saturday and found the restaurant was quite busy when we arrived. We love trying the dips at Indian restaurants and found the lime pickle here was one of the best. The food was all freshly cooked and tasted very good. There were three chefs working and all had their own speciality dishes. I had the prawn jalfrezi which is probably little spicy for me but it was delicious. You can actually see a little into the kitchen and see the chefs working very hard. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming and never rushed us at all despite being a little busy. We read about parking but there is no private parking; it's just on street parking.The prices are very reasonable and we would definitely come back!

Mediocre food, slow service and they charge you for containers when you want to take your leftovers home!

My wife Ordered a Chef's special bhuna absolutely disgusting, the only taste was salt, which she hates & I love I took one mouth full and even I spat it out, no flavour at all it just tasted like a spoonful of salt.My dhansak was OK but Will definately never order food from here again, total waste of money

Visited the place with friends who are regulars here. The staff are attentive and friendly and the food, being very fresh and tasty is a little overpriced compared to other restaurants in the area. Won't stop me going again though !!

Ordered from here after constantly being let down by our usual place. So glad that we did. The food arrived within the timescale promised, and it was hot and fresh. You get little extras thrown in depending on how much you spend as well which is a nice bonus. The food tasted delicious so will be ordering from here again. Really pleased.

Would of been a 5 star review cause the food is really nice i used them a lot for delivery and i was always happy to pay a few pound extra for the quaity but i just went to order the same food as i ordered a few weeks ago and they have massively jacked up there prices i can understand you charging more for people dining in the resturant. Overal price increase on my last last order is 8 pounds Please lower your prices :( i really dont want to have to avoid your resturant

This was the first time my wife and I have visited this restaurant so we weren't sure what to expect. We were very impressed. The food was perfect, decor nice and the staff were all friendly. I would certainly eat here again.

Ordered for delivery ,missing part of order and 1 of the curry 's was only warm. Telephoned them to inform we were brininging it back .they replaced it but refused the 10% discount as they said it didn't include fridays ,very rude 1 of the waiters were. Took curry home and even though we had paid for chutney and salads we were still missing parts. Absolutely fuming £30 it cost wouldn't go there again

Had a great evening with my family here tonight. Great Indian food. My only issue with the place is that it is too light. Would be nice if they could tone down the lights a little.

Not being local to the area we just picked an Indian restaurant close to our hotel and we were lucky with this one. Though it took 20min to order they were very busy. But worth the wait as the food was great would definitely go back if in the area.

We chose a quiet night to visit, a Monday. Already a couple in there, it was filling up slowly by the time we left. Tandoori mixed grill, well presented and very tasty, keema nan good also a royal chicken curry, very tasty.

Quite possibly the best Indian food I have even had. Absolutely not to be missed, the chef and menu are excellent. We enjoyed our visit and will return. The service was very friendly, the decor is good, overall a first class meal.

Ha pasado un tiempo desde que llegamos aquí. . . . Realmente triste. teniendo en cuenta que no es mucho para nosotros. Así que me alegro de que he vuelto. Como antes, el ambiente era una decoración preciosa bien pensado. . . . . El personal impecablemente presentados como lo que solía ser. . . . Además fueron muy amable y acogedor. Mi esposa y yo no suelen dar oportunidad para una noche, pero nos alegramos mucho de haber escogido a volver. Agradable cerveza fría mientras disfrutando de la India en el menú profundidad con mucha variedad. Decidimos ir por un entrante y el campo pero de poppadoms un pollo con arroz huevo para dansak el principal. Sirve deliciosamente en la mesa. Ah, y no olvides el keema nan a sumergirse en cualquier salsa. Las raciones son de buen tamaño con la esposa no pudo terminar todo su cordero balti. No esperar tanto tiempo para volver y es altamente recomendable. Muchas gracias a todo el personal para un magnífico regalo de salir por la noche.

Toda la comida es de alto nivel y en porciones de tamaño perfectamente. El precio que ofrecen para un plato de entrada, plato principal y lateral es muy buena y está disponible (creo) de lunes a jueves o domingo a través.
