Amazing as always, tried different dishes and every one was outstanding. Been all over the world and have eaten curry everywhere we have been but NOWHERE is as good as Jack's. Love the place

before booking a larger group. I travelled with a mate from Droitwich although the other three were more local. Impressed by the friendliness of the staff, who were also very attentive and helpful when we ordered our meals. We had 5 empty plates at the end of the meal and left with a satisfied feeling of having been well looked after. We are now planning to bring a larger group. Considering this was a Monday night in July, it was reasonably busy which gave it a good atmosphere and deserves every credit for a job well done

Sadly I’m having to leave such a negative review after seeing and reading such good ones but our experience was of a bad one. Arrived at the restaurant to be seated before we new it poppadoms and sides where put before us wicth we did not order nor are they free. Orders were taken sadly an hour and twenty minutes went by before we received it we where told this is down to cooking a whole chicken however when we did all the sides went back as they were stone cold and also a main. Sadly I’d already given my two kids a share of my rice before realising mine was also cold. I’ll be honest I was offered a new fresh rice but declined I’d already put most of my mains on the already cold rice. My main in particular was a king prawn masala it had 2x king prawns in it cut up in 4-5 pieces it was not value for money the 3-4 mains that we all ordered was all similar in sauce all that was different was the name.

Below average. Food wasn’t bad, but was far from great. Atmosphere is awful, loud music played from I think YouTube is overbearing. The creepy waiter only ever spoke to my wife and kept his back to me during 99% of interaction, only spoke to her and was very creepy, made her feel very uncomfortable. Told her after giving us the bill that she would have to put any tip we wanted to give directly in his hand. No tip was forthcoming, my glass was empty when the food was brought out and was still empty when I finished my meal. They get 2 stars because the food wasn’t bad, just not memorable and not worth coming back for. Even if the food was amazing there are literally tens of better restaurants in a 3 mile radius without the creepy waiter hitting on your wife in front of you and who will top your drink up.

Excellent food. Above all excellent service. Ordered take away a few times, delivered in time and fresh plus hot. V fresh salad n rotis delivered. They specially accommodated me when I ordered an earlier take away by error, I had guests coming, they were v helpful. Food was delicious.

Ordered Chicken Biryani 3 times previously in the past 2 weeks which was good, however the prices went up by 30% in just 1 day. It’s not really how you raise the prices for your business. I think it’s quite disrespectful towards existing customers it’s why I gave 1 star and I won’t order anymore! Time to find different restaurant.

This restaurant is the best Indian Restaurant I have even eaten in and had delivery from. I have eaten in many Indian restaurants in many cities and Countries and this restaurants food is by far the nicest I have ever had. I find it extremely hard to find a good takeaway curry but this restaurant never let's us down. Nice friendly staff also. I always highly recommend.

Was there yesterday as part of a group celebrating Kings Birthday. Wow. The food and service was awesome. All staff were polite courteous and friendly. The Lamb curry and chicken curry were simply irresistible. The tadka daal had awesome ghee flavour , delicious. We requested some take away and the staff were happy to oblige. All in all one exceptional hidden gem for authentic Indian cuisine. 5 stars.

Used these loads , this time everything was awful , lamb chops , mostly bone and fat, food cold, keema naan awful , what’s gone wrong?

Great food cooked fresh, if you want quick and reheated go elsewhere. I haven't been let down to date, I have to say the venue has a buzzing environment. One of midlands few authentic restaurants that make food to order and use fresh ingredients. Even if you don't fancy curry their steak and freshly made pepper sauce is mouth watering. They do great vegetarian options, the paneer karahi is the best I've tried.

Banging munch, even better service

Went to masala jacks to eat out and the service and food was really nice! I am a fussy eater but I couldn’t wrong the food. We then made a big order for Eid and they were so helpful and reassured us about the food constantly. The food was really tasty as well considering it was a big order and gave us some extra masala curry for the biryani as well! Definitely recommend trying it

Highly recommend 5*+. Incredible food. I have been going here for around 12 year and have never had a bad experience. It takes a little longer than some other restaurants to come out. However, that’s because it’s always fresh and the sauce doesn’t just come from the same one pot. I can honestly say it’s well worth the wait. The staff are great and always go above and beyond to ensure you get the best service possible. Take away is always good as well. I would go as far to say it’s the best in Coventry and I’m very fussy when it comes to asian cuisine. Truly authentic 10/10.

Honestly can't fault this place at all. Best mixed grill 've had, meat and chicken were juicy and succulent, packed with flavour. Lamb chops are a must try! Chicken curry was amazing and achari gosht was beautifully cooked. Curries were fresh and full of flavour. This place gives you the home cooked taste. Chefs definitely know their stuff. Exceptional customer service from all staff especially Taz . Will definitely be visiting again, keep up the amazing work guys!!!.

Group of four friends. Really loved this place, they were so friendly and attentive to our needs really made us feel welcome :) food was delicious presented very well and well priced. We really Enjoyed our evening thank you! I do not eat any animal products and this restaurant really respected this and couldn't do enough to check everything was animal free. I really appreciate this, I'm used to feeling like a pain when I go out to eat because of my beliefs - but you guys made me feel normal so thank you :)

The best has thing about here is the customer service. The waiter was very attentive and kind. He is just a genuinely happy person and it reflected in the service he provided. The food was great. I recommend 20/10.

Let me start by saying I am very fussy with Indian food, as I’m used to home cooking. Takeaways and restaurants I don’t find authentic, much to my disappointment. I’ve tried most Indian’s in Coventry now lol and I’m always let down. Recommended this place by a friend. YUM! I added notes for Desi style, so not sure if that made a difference or not, but it was banging! Palak paneer - perfect. Cheese chilli naan - delicious. Planning to come in to eat in 2 weeks with a friend, but I can see Masala Jacks being a problem for me wanting to order all the time! Impressed!

Worst lamb chops ever , full of fat and chewy and cold , wrecked my birthday meal picking up from here

I’ve had many a takeaway from here and it’s always been excellent! The lamb and the spices are cooked to my liking, cannot fault any of it!

Been to many Indian restaurants in Birmingham and Coventry and this place is up there with the best of them, the chicken madras and tikka masala was spot on, great service too, would definitely come back...

Travelled all the way from Milton Keynes to go back to Masala Jacks for the mixed grill. They did not disappoint!! The sizzler was amazing! Also took my international friends who were mind blown by the food! 100% recommend. Taz made us feel very welcome and checked in with us regularly👍🏽

My 3rd visit this year and every single time I've walked away with a full stomach and big smiles. From food to service, it hits perfection. The manager is friendly and personally ensures all customers are okay with their meals, service is quick and food tastes delicious too (I'm a fussy eater). Would recommend reserving a table in advance if you require a bigger table.

First time visit on a recommendation and I wasn't disappointed. We visited early evening to find the restaurant busy but staff were welcoming and attentive. Complimentary poppodoms accompaniments were promptly presented whilst we selected our meals. Our waiter was knowledgeable and I particularly liked that we were asked how spiced we liked our food. Food is prepared in a traditional manner without the use of colourants and was really tasty. I couldn't fault the atmosphere, food or service and will definitely return.

First time brining my family here , we were greeted as you walked through the door . Service spot on. Staff checking in every now and again to ensure we were ok asked if we needed anything . Overall a friendly welcoming atmosphere . Food was amazing and bought out in a good amount of time considering it was a Friday night and busy ! Will recommend Masala Jacks to my friends and family . Absolutely 💯 amazing food been ordering from here for years you can't beat the quality of the food, top chef there all the staff there brilliant delivery service always on time

On arrival, one of the team opened the door for us. They brought us a poppadom each without my table asking for any. Drinks were ordered, and we all had a jug each. We all chose to have a starter. Then three of us had curry, and the fourth had lamb chops. I ordered a cheese garlic nan, it wasn't very cheesy and it was a bit thin. And although I couldn't eat all my dinner the evening out was enjoyable.

Food is average .. with the recent price hike on the menu I feel the taste of food and quantity could increase !! Had the butter chicken...lacked the smokey chicken tikka pieces which is key to this dish ... Just found chicken with red food colouring ...

I usually get my takeaway from here but had never eaten in despite this being close to home. The staff were very attentive, suggesting side dishes that would go well with our meal. Love that they ask you how spicy you would like your food (as a takeaway as well as in restaurant) the food was super tasty as always, the service was great. We left feeling full and satisfied with the meal - its not overpriced either.

A hidden gem , delicious food, example of high end customer service . I was in work trip and staying in Coventry for four nights . I googled restaurants around and found out the menu is appalling , I popped in there and continued four nights dinner there . It’s was externally busy all the four nights. However l, staff warmly welcomed all the guest and left them to the door when they were leaving . There were no long waits for the food it was served in right time and was served sizzling hot. When it come to food I have high standards but I felt it super delicious . Hamza and dani are amazing guys I must appreciate they way they care customers. Thanks a lot guys . I will be returning for sure Strongly recommend!!!!

Heard the grill platters are best. But had a chicken tikka fried rice, which was disastrous especially it tastes raw turmeric. That must be the worst fried rice I ever had which looks like a biriyani!

I was with my friend in this restaurant. The restaurant was congested. The food was tasty. Unfortunately, no dessert was served. We were told that they won’t serve any dessert, not sure what was the reason. The staff and the owner were very friendly. Alcohol is not served in this restaurant. But if anyone wants to drink alcohol, he/she can get it from outside and can drink inside.

Been twice now after previously ordering on just eat but thought we would go out to eat. Food choices are really good. Big shout out Hamzah,Dubabo,Sam for great customer service....would highly recommend but not licensed so don't serve Alcohol but they don't mind if you either bring your own or pop to off licence 2 min walk up the road. We got here for a birthday meal all sat down and my finger got trapped under the chair seat which wasnt stable we then asked for ice then it happened again and we had to go to the bar to get the ice ourself so before u sit down CHECK UR CHAIR! Because i wouldnt want this happening to anyone else because it really hurt.also customer service needs improving and most of the staff was very moody.and no empathy from the staff.

First time I've been to this restaurant. All the food was absolutely amazing. The masala fish was my fave! The staff/customer service were on point too! Very welcoming and nothing was too much for them. I will definitely be coming back and highly recommend it 👌.

Absolutely beautiful curry. Ordered a madras curry and chicken tikka fried rice and very quick delivery. Being someone who trys alot of curries from different areas this one is the best we have tried. Compliments to the chef.

Rude staff terrible place avoid at all costs

We booked a table here to meet a friend for his birthday. When we arrived at our booked time we were told there were no tables available and that I couldn’t have booked. Basically I was told I’d made up making a booking. We were spoken to very rudely even after I showed the phone history of the call to the restaurant. They had taken a family booking for the whole place and obviously didn’t give any thought or regard for the customers who’d already booked. Avoid this place.

VILE! Masala swimming in water tastes nothing like masala, keema rice no meat at all, keema nan like feet! This has to be the worst indian meal I have eaten in my time! Can’t believe I paid £50 for slop

I haven’t had a takeaway for a long time so decided to treat myself I thought tasty curry glass of red a nite by the tv…… well scrub that anticipation is not always realisation I picked up my curry raced home dished it up & that’s when the disappointment came it was horrible I ordered a medium chicken balti it had under lying taste of a chicken stew & was full of large under ripe tomatoes & dry over cooked boiled rice the poppadoms were greasy & the dips that accompanied them were awful & didn’t represent anything they were supposed I was so disappointed & at £25 it sure left a vile taste in my mouth & a hole in my pocket didn’t expect this after reading the good reviews.
