Khushi Grill in Coventry

Had a nice meal at Khushi Grill Monday night. Food was delicious, lots of flavour and the naan was excellent. Friendly staff and brilliant atmosphere, the football was on so that was a bonus to the night. Would recommend for a meal and to relax. 👍

Shocking, if your looking to pay a big fat fine for eating here then go ahead, they do not tell you about the permit only parking, and to be frank the food wasn’t worth the fine otherwise I wouldn’t have minded 🤣

Supported this business from the beginning. Even with the change of ownership and even though you charge more than the average. They got the order wrong today and the girl on the phone made no effort to rectify. Rude attitude and argumentative. Our orders often exceed £120 like today’s. You will not receive an order from us again.

Sorry for the 4*. Customer service is good. Good food awesome. No complaints. Only problem with place is that it’s too busy and very hard to find the table. Long waiting. Second if there is football match in Ricoh Arena then forget it. You can’t Eat in. I been there after COVID first time. Jam packed. So end up with order online at home.

Tandoori roti wasn't great, Chicken lolipop is not made from chicken wings-was extremely dry and difficult to eat, Prawn chilli was really good also, garlic naan and cheese naan was good, chicken vindalo was spicy advice any one who orders to ask for less or medium spicy.

A small compact dining room, nice bar and kitchen setup. If you’re going on a weekend then definitely book your table or you’ll be sharing a table with other guests. The food came out super fast, all in all was a decent experience. We had the mixed grill - the lamb chops were the best on that plate. Chicken tikka, wings and sheesh kebabs were decent. The masala chips were decent. My daughter’s kids meal was also just ok - the chicken nuggets were a very standard nugget and the chips were saturated in oil. However we do know it’s what we should expect from a pub. Definitely try this place out if you’re local. Not worth a long trip! Enjoy.

Good food. I would give this a recommendation. However … Staff seemed very stone faced. No real welcome or interaction. They were there to do the practical side of the work and that was it. The building is tired and feeds into a pretty flat atmosphere. Some people may like it, but the TV’s with sports playing on them is distracting. As for the Carpark :-/ littered and rough. It’s not hard to get someone to go out and pick up the litter. If you out to get some reasonably priced food, with no dining experience… this is a place to go.

Went with my 2 friends last night, there was not atmosphere, the staff spent more time running round after the 2 other tables eating and the food was very poor, nothing like what we expected and bland, the rice was nice. To make things worse they added a service charge to the bill which I refused to pay.

Food is lovely, however when ordering a takeaway which we have done many times we only receive one portion of dips despite ordering 2 lots of poppadoms when delivered. tonight we ordered a collection and my husband asked if we had 2 lots of dips as we'd ordered 2 lots of poppadoms. There was only one so they added another set of dips. Unfortunately when we got home and unpacked we had only been given one set of poppadoms despite ordering and being charged for 2. Will think twice before ordering again!

I have been waiting over an hour for my order. I called kushi grill asking if my order has been made and they said yes at 8:45pm. My food has came cold and late.

everything was perfect food wise... but £3.50 to recieve 1 broken up popadom is an absolute joke for that price you'd expect 4? but yeah otherwise very nice thankyou.

The customer service was terrible; the staff was very arrogant. However, the food was good.

Took over an hour for a driver to pick up the food making the food cold! Khushi staff member was helpful when rang but wish it was sooner.

Food was pretty decent, especially for quite late in the day. Service was quick, the decor is quite dated. It's a fine place to go with mates, but not for family.

Forgot all my dips for my mixed grill when that’s all I ordered for, nightmare. The quality hit and miss. One week it’s great next they forget your food and it’s no good. Prob won’t use Khushi again.

Great place for Grill and pint. Live sports makes it even better. Parking is a challenge, if you don't get the limited free parking at restaurant. But once you get in, just enjoy good food and drink...

We came here last Saturday, 1st, February and I had booked a table for 6:30pm. I'm glad I did because it was very busy as there were a lot of families there. The food was very good and tasty. There were four of us and we really enjoyed the meal and the atmosphere. The only downside were the number of flat screen TV's on the wall, all showing the football match. There was a group of guys who were very noisy but they left after 14/20 minutes, so it was more peaceful. I would recommend this place but perhaps try to avoid it when there is a football match being shown !! lol

Curry very spicy I had the butter chicken which I can normally handle. I left most of it Food was quite cold too. We also bought popadoms at £3.25 We got one which was broken into pieces. Overall, pricy for what we got …. We’ve had better

Delicious food paired with a fantastic atmosphere! The mixed grill was incredibly flavorful and perfectly cooked. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a great dining experience. Curries need slightly improving.

Great place for an authentic mixed grill. We got the veggie mixed grill, lovely flavours. The soya pieces were awesome. Chilli chips were delightful.

Poor service. The kitchen forgot items which was their fault and they refused to send items back out asked us to take it off next order. Poor from them no apology at all. Won't be using again for delivery.

poppadoms says 6. only recieved 2 broken ones. allo saag was too salty we couldn't eat it. Chicken tikka pieces were very poor sloppy chicken pieces. chips were rock hard. no vegetables in the biriani sauce or taste. very poor. will never be ordering again.

i ordered Special butter Naan but we received Plain Naan and Naan is not look like a fresh

Normally enjoy Kushi but tonight it was very disappointing. The whole order was freezing, the chips were hard and stale and the naan was burnt. I am disabled and autistic and have been saving up to have this takeaway so I’m now very upset. Thanks kushi

Ordered due to a recommendation. Food all tasty and fresh but hotter than other places. No salad or yogurt dips etc with tikka wrap which was needed. Bit pricey considering and compared to others. Will probably try again but I don’t think it will be our go to place. Small menu, no option eg to have mixed biyani or tikka curries that we’d normally have.

th3 samosas served, are the small tiny ones and not the standard sized sort. the chips were precooked and dry and cold ... don't have chips, they are awful...

The naans didn’t have anything written on the packaging so got muddled up, the lamb was ok but could have been more tender and too much chilli not enough masala

the curry was basically heavy cream with no flavour incredibly sickly and not edible possibly the worst curry I have had.

The food is nice, but on CBS Arena match and event days, you have no chance of parking . The place is rammed with people paying to park to watch Coventry play. Go on a night when there are no events or risk a parking ticket, as all the nearby roads require permits on event/match days. I still recommend it, but it's not worth a £75 parking ticket!

If you are foody then trust me Briyani rates zero Noodles zero Grill ( Lamb and kabab was worse , tandoori chicken was good though)

The taste, flavour and quality of the food is consistent a quality hard to find in the 'desi pub' category of eatery.

Food here is excellent ! Really good value and really tasty food, what ever is left they provide take away boxes to take food home and enjoy the following day 😊 recommend the mixed grill

Rogan Josh was fantastic, the naann bread was a little to greasy but overall very good.

Relaxed style eating. Order your own drinks and food at the counter. Genuine food served quickly and presented well. Amazing flavours, beautiful rice and naan breads. All very reasonably priced.

Firstly we had arranged to go to my brothers for an Indian ( ideally would have went out for one) however with small children we decided to just stay in. I suggested we tried this place as it was only down the road and was probably going to be nicer than your standard Indian takeaway. We get no signal in the house what so ever so I had to go up the street to phone them to make an order the lady on the phone said to me the compute system is down I’m going to write your order down is that okay I said yes then it appears she walked off and just forgot about me as I could hear the restaurant and everyone placing orders for the next 10 minutes so I cut it off. We thought it’s down the road we will just drive down and order and wait. So my partners gone in to order came back out ro the car we probably sat for 20 minutes and I said to him you should go back in now..I sat over 50 minutes with a screaming child in the car ( phone dead). This sort of time is not acceptable. We are talking nearly 8 o clock now so I’ve gone in to see what’s going on and it looks like there is no organisation what so ever! Asked the lady where the food was and she found it just sat on the side. Why would you expand your businesw to just eat/ Uber eats if the customer service is going to end up like this. The food was ok::: tbh we had gone past it and it had ruined the night. not worth £60 not really that special so this will be the first and last time il be visiting the place absolutely shocking

Not the best ever Indian grill place I've been to but far from the worst. Food is ok, reasonably priced, gets very busy and they have their own carpark. Toilets need A lot of attention.
