Frequent diner at Bucks Balti. The food is generally quite good but was a bit of a let down this time. The Chef having a bad day maybe?

Very dissatisfied with the order, the curry had hardly any meat, cost Enough, my partner had 3 pieces of meat i her bhuna. I’ve been going here for years and this is the worst I’ve had. Never going there again.

First visit would go again. Very reasonably priced & you bring your own alcohol so total bull a lot lower than our usual Indian restaurant. Food arrived hot, and quality/portion size good. Staff very pleasant. Enjoyable evening.

I simply loved the place: good food, pleasant atmosphere, excellent and friendly service. The food was tasty and more than enough to satisfy the hungriest person 😁; aaand as a bonus, I was able to choose the level of spiciness (which was truly a blessing for someone who doesn't usually indulge in spicy food). I wholeheartedly recommend this place.

Excellent food at a very reasonable price.

What's not to like with a BYO drink curry house. I prefer the chicken tikka when I go, always arrives hot and sizzling. Staff are friendly and efficient. Great place if you are celebrating a birthday.

Recently came with a large booking of 16 for my partners birthday and the food (as always) was delicious and the staff were so lovely and all the food came out perfectly! Thank you to all the staff for a lovely evening and for bringing the birthday cake out too :)

Good Indian restaurant. Food was delicious. The staff was very friendly. Prices are reasonable and you can bring your own alcohol. We had a lovely meal with a good atmosphere. Recommended

I have not been to the restaurant in person for years so cannot comment on that, but my past experience I Remember the food being really nice so thought to order really wish we didn’t now. Ordered a chicken tikka masala and a chicken madras, the chicken madras had 4 pieces of chicken In it as well as the chicken tikka masala, the madras was a whole box of sauce practically the spice level was spot on for a madras but the flavour was not there it tasted like white chicken drowned in sauce. Iv honestly had a microwave meal more flavourful than the madras. The chicken tikka masala once again a whole box of sauce practically tasted of white chicken and coconut. I am very disappointed as the food used to be lovely! But In all fairness called up and recieved within 15/20 minutes and that is very quick for a curry.

Food was disgusting, ordered from this restaurant on a recommendation. Won’t be doing this again. Shocking quality of food. I’ve tasted ready meal curry from Iceland better than this dive of a curry-house waste of almost £60. AVOID THIS PLACE like the plague🐀🤮

Disappointed. First of all my curry was very bland. I ordered a Dansak and it had no flavour. It also came in a small portion sized container, I asked if it was a side or a main, they said a main but it comes in a small container (so worth clarifying this). Lastly I went to collect my order, their website says 10% off on orders over £10, they tell me in store it's orders over £20. I've had much better in the area.

Had the most amazing meal at the Bucks Balti House, Harry and his team are so welcoming and accomodating hosts. I have been eating here for over 20 years, and even though I have moved out of the area, when I can I always make sure I eat here. I have never had a bad meal in all these years, I encourage anybody who has not been here should certainly pay them a visit, as they are missing out on good quality amazing food. I look forward to my next visit, keep up the amazing work guys you are great 👍

Please note my review on Just Eat reflects this but for some reason shows 4 stars which I did NOT give. Seems it's been tampered with, so beware of reviews left. Not exceptional. Portion sizes small and main dishes in a rice size container not the usual main course size, so the prices seam reasonable until you receive your order. Bhajee a bit on the hard side, korma was delicious, dhansak was not a dhansak or spicy and hot and just an odd sauce. The nan bread was absolutely amazing but not worth paying the amount I did just for a good nan. Sorry but it is what it is and that's not terrible but rather disappointing.

Finally had some good Indian food in Aylesbury! Not authentic, but it was really tasty!! Great portion sizes too. The only thing I didn't like was that the food was too oily.

I went for a meal recently and knew straight away that it was going to be awful. The place from the outside looks like a dodgy kebab house, and inside it’s like a soulless canteen. The ‘food’ is way too cheap and reeks of cheap solvent-extracted vegetable oil. Proper curry houses use real butter ghee. We now know that saturated fat is healthier than liquid cooking oils as it doesn’t break down and turn rancid. The curry was as thin and tasteless as soup. The low class diners kept swearing and shouting which was very embarrassing. We won’t be returning.

Great curry (I went for fairly spicy). if I visit Aylesbury again I’ll visit this place again for sure!

My 4th visit to Bucks Balti tonight and as always amazing food and even better service. I like the bring your own booze thing as it keeps the overall cost of a night out down. Looking forward to my doggy bag for tomorrows breakfast! 😂 thanks lads for looking after us tonight, top class

The food had lots of flavour and the portions are plenty the service and the atmosphere was brilliant, plus you bring your own booze.I went there for my Birthday and the whole of the restaurant including the staff joined in with the singalong whilst I was presented with a surprise cake... Bucks Balti House is my favourite...

Quite tasteless, rice very greasy and over prices, fare by the worst Indian i have had in a long time.

Good food and fairly quick delivery. Would given 5 stars but didn't deliver everything ordered. But after a phone call to restaurant items where at my door in super quick time.

After reading the excellent reviews before visiting, we weren’t disappointed. Welcoming friendly staff, comfortable and relaxing ambiance. The food was absolutely superb, full of flavour, nice presentation and excellent prices. We wish that we lived more locally but the journey from Watford was well worth it. We’ll definitely be back 👍

Not the smartest looking building with Windows missing on the first floor but downstairs was fine and good was nice enough. BYOB is good.

Good portion size, prawn puree was nice, this time had the Prawn Boona was also nice. The food was a 3 with the service and price its a 4.

The loveliest Indian restaurant in town. They are our local and go-to restaurant and we have been into the restaurant many times, had takeaway and delivery. Every time the service and food is very good. Their home delivery service is top draw - quick and always by a friendly, up beat delivery person.

Best tasting curries I have ever had. Taste clean, traditional and home made! I absolutely demolished a chicken saag, chicken madras was thoroughly enjoyed by my partner and the rogan josh was devine too. Couldn't fault it, I have to order again!

I know what a good curry is and what I had here was woeful. A 1970s Vesta curry would have been preferable. I made the mistake of ordering a salmon methi. It was made with the cheapest tinned salmon, smelt off and the consistency was just awful. Imagine a pilchard curry. I feel sick thinking about it. The tarka dal also had a bad consistency and maybe it was the salmon that put me off but never again will I order from here.

I chose the Bucks Balti because of the reviews. We have just been there and the meal we had was absolutely lovely, I haven't had such a nice curry in a long time. The guys who were working made us feel welcome and were friendly. Next time we come down to Aylesbury again ( we are from Bradford) I will definitely come back here. Thank you.

Disgusting food..extremely oily,even the poppadoms..worst I've ever had, had about 3 mouthfuls for £32 worth...worst ever naan bread..stay away, save your money seriously

Do not call it an Indian Restaurant unless you change the flavor and tastes to Indian Standards. All curries are spicy and no flavour tastes better than chilly powder. Too spicyyy. Please improve your flavours !!

Fast service, placed through Just Eat, food was awful. Extremely oily, All items I ordered looks and taste same. I must say bing a tolerant and forgiving customer, this is very disappointing food.

Naan bread thin, hard and tasteless. Sag paneer with teeny tiny slithers of cheese. Stale poppadoms. Bone in chicken. save your money... try desire!

We ordered a takeaway from here by recommendation, we usually use Jeera but thought we’d give another Indian a go. The order was just short of 40 pound, which we don’t mind paying for decent food. The order went through at 19:20, it arrived at 20:50. The food was luke warm, prawns so over cooked they were rubbery and there was no heat (spice) in our meals that we ordered ( usually they are spicy). The prawns also had a layer of oil sitting on top of the sauce. The keema nan tasted like garlic nan however it was so bitter like the garlic had been burnt. The mushroom rice and Poppadoms were nice. I don’t like leaving bad reviews, but I was so disappointed I expected more for 38 pound especially as the reviews were good. I unfortunately will not recommend and will definitely not return.

8 of us started are night out in Aylesbury with a curry what a great place great food at good prices with great staff. They don't have a drinks licenc. But you can take your own drinks on with you and that helps keep the bill down. So whether you're starting your evening or ending it with a curry bucks Balti House is a good place to go. Can highly recommend I will be returning

Always try and visit here when in Aylesbury. Always good food and service. They don’t have a liquor licence but you can take your own alcohol with you which is good and cheaper than if you had to pay for it. Would recommend.

Ordered delivery and when delivered main meals missing. Spoke to owner so they could send out a replacement order. He did not apologise and only argued about what we did receive and was very rude. Called me mate about 6 times even though I made it clear I'm not his mate, I am his customer!Will never order from here as with this attitude it makes you worry about the attitude towards such things as hygiene etc. That is my honest opinion.
